Snowy Pegasus Charm Against the Sandy Fairy
"Hmm, which mage should we pair for the next round?" The king of Fiore wondered as he looks at the list of mages in his hand.
The king is a short man with gray hair, black eyes, and small mustaches. He wears triped overalls, held up by a belt at the waist, under a cape. His name is Toma E. Fiore.
"Your majesty, the officials are waiting for the next magical fighters for the next round as he it will begin soon." A knight informed.
"Oh dear, I need to hurry and pick the mages though it's kind of hard to choose between them." Toma sighed.
"Perhaps you could help me pick, Arcadios." Toma said.
Arcadios is a tall, muscular and well-built man, seen to be wearing armor of the Cherry Blossom Holy Knight Squadron. He has deep set eyes and high cheekbones, with a small scar running from his left temple to the edge of his thick eyebrows. He also has a snub, square-shaped nose. His hair is dark and wavy, sticking up around his head, with prominent sideburns that join into a curved and pointed beard.
"Well, perhaps the next match should be about something unexpected such as…" Arcadios looked at the list and saw two names that caught his eyes.
"These two, King Toma." Arcadios pointed at the two names.
"Oh, well, that is an unexpected matchup and that would be a fun match to watch." Toma smiled.
"Very well, I will inform the officials of the Grand Magic Games right away." Arcadios hurried out of the room.
"Hmm, guess we'll see how this fight will go." Toma grinned.
(Domus Flau)
"Okay everyone, it is time for the second match of the battle round!" Chapati announced as the crowd got excited again.
"This match up is certainly something that we will see as it's about two forces from nature going against each other like the cold and the heat." Chapati mentioned.
"Well, obvious I'm rooting for the cold because, but I would also like to see how this heat will too." Jack said.
"The heat part isn't exactly fire or anything like that, but it sure has been under the sun for a very long time and it's where we go to on a summer day." Yaijma said.
"Okay, now let's bring out the fighters!" Chapati declared.
"On one side is one who calls himself one of the handsomest young men in the country and has the cute snowy aura to boot. From the Blue Pegasus, the Holy Night Eve Tearm." Chapati introduced one of the mages.
"I will make this battle a beautiful scene as pure as the snow." Eve proclaimed doing a princely gesture.
Eve is a young man with blonde hair that is wavier and slightly messier. He wears a pale yellow a short-sleeved shirt left untucked over navy blue suit pants complementing the tie around his neck, covered in white and blue diagonal stripes, and brown leather shoes.
"The next mage is from the guild that has done its best to keep itself alive as the members there keep on fighting to this very moment, he's the one who will bring a sandstorm to anyone who tries to harm his guild, the Sand Mage, Max Alors!" Chapati introduced the other mage.
"Wow, never thought I would be fighting right now, but I'm doing this for my guild." Max determined to win this battle.
"Go Max!" Laki cheered.
"Give them more than sand in his shoes!" Jet shouted.
"Do you think he'll be okay?" Doreen asked, feeling concern for Max.
"The guy has been training ever since Natsu and the others disappeared with the island, and he's been determine to help get Fairy Tail back on top." Wakaba explained.
"Same with me and Alzack, we've been working out butts on becoming stronger for our guild though we ended having Twilight Ogres to "help" with the debates." Bisca added, feeling a bit angry.
"Easy honey, we won't have to worry about them anymore." Alzack assured with a gentle kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks honey, that definitely calm me down." Bisca smiled.
"Don't forget you were awesome in the games too, mommy!" Asuka pointed out before being lifted up by Bisca.
"You got that right." Bisca smiled.
Meanwhile at the arena, Mex and Eve are staring at each other readying their magic powers for the battle.
"Hey, I want to thank you and your guild for all you done to help us trying to find our friends even now." Max said to Eve.
"Of course, Fairy Tail is the closest best friend of Blue Pegasus which we will always welcome with open arms. But right now, it's time to see if which of our elements will reign over the other." Eve grinned.
"Good, just wanted to be sure we're on the same page of kicking each other's ass." Max excited as he gets into his fighting stance.
"Oh man, I'm feeling nervous, and the fight hasn't even start yet." Romeo said.
"I know what you mean." Marco gulped.
"Well, be ready because the fight is gonna start now." Wolverine glared at the battlefield.
"Alright, if both mages are ready to fight then let the second-round battle… BEGIN!" Mato shouted, starting the match.
(Music: Hands Up, Kota Shinzato)
"Here I come!" Eve threw out his hand and unleash a snowy blast at Max.
Max quickly summons sand under his feet to slide away from the snowy blast and made a ramp sand to jump higher into the air.
"Sand Downer!" Max threw both his hands down and his Sand Magic came down going to Eve.
Eve saw this and quickly move out of the way letting the sand attack hit the ground instead though he also jumps to roll away just to be sure, then he got back up and charges at Max who is coming back down.
Eve started throwing some punches which Max blocks them though is surprised of this as he blocks another punch that was going for his face, but Eve smile as his plan to get in close worked.
"Winter Up!" Eve threw his left arm up causing the snowy blast to raise beneath Max striking him into the air.
"Wow, now he just made snow go up! Unexpectedly cool!" Jack cheered.
"Okay, you definitely got me there." Max groaned a little from the pain as he got back up.
"Oh, I'm not done yet." Eve said and he held out his hand to perform another attack.
"White Out!" Eve blasted a big blizzard at Max covering him in giant pile of snow in only two seconds.
"Eve has buried Max in snow, could this be the end?" Chapati wondered.
"Bet it's gonna be hard to warm himself up from that." Jack commented.
"Hope I didn't go too far; I am doing this for my guild." Eve said.
Then Eve notice something from the snow hill he made hearing a soft crunchy noise finding this strange, but by the time he realizes this it was too late as a big sand blast burst out of the snow and hit Eve sending him back as Max comes out.
"Just when we thought Max was finish from being buried, he dug himself out of the snow!" Chapati surprised.
"Of course, even though he is not known much to others, he is in Fairy Tail with the same strong heart like all the others." Yajima nodded.
"You're gonna have to try something colder than that, pretty boy." Max smirked.
"I really got my hopes up for this battle, now I want to go on more!" Eve excited.
Max clapped his hands together and send a barrage of sand blast at Eve who quickly dodges them and uses his snow magic to clash with a few in midair, then he slammed both his hands down to create a big snowy hill like the one who used to bury Max but for himself and several feet taller.
"Hmm, it would appear that he made some improvements to his magic." Lyon commented.
"And he's doing it in style too." Chelia complimented.
"Okay, let see how you can handle this." Eve grinned.
"White Fury Barrage!" Eve unleased dozens of medium-sized snowstorms "at Max.
"Don't think you can get me with that." Max prepared himself with his own magic attack.
"Sand Slash Maceration!" Max threw his hands around firing dozens of whip-like sand attacks clashing against the snow attacks.
The two mages continue firing at each other with neither giving in as their attacks are colliding in the middle even when one tries to get past the other.
"Never in all my life would I see the day that sand and snow would fight each other like this, it's like the two different landscapes are trying to take control of the land!" Chapati commented.
"I can't tell if I'm getting sand in my eyes or is it snow." Jack said.
"Wow, I never seen Max go all out like that!" Droy amazed.
"Yeah, it almost reminds me of how Natsu would fight going all out." Jet nodded.
"But let's not forget that Max is smarter, so I'm sure he will think of a winning plan." Warren believed in Max's strength.
"I'm taking your word for it through and through." Wolverine agreed.
"(This guy is definitely more than a pretty face; I know that much.)" Max thought commented.
"But like a certain fire dragon friend would say, I got a fire in my belly that's raging to get out." Max smirked with the fire of determination in his eyes.
As they continue attacking each other, Eve started to notice how the sand slashes are getting closer to him bit by bit and the caster himself is moving a little faster too almost like he's releasing more magic power.
"Damn it, is he getting stronger?" Eve asked.
"Alright, this may give Eve a moment opening, but it's all or nothing now." Max said as he stops his sand slashes.
"(Now's my chance!)" Eve thought saw that opening and fired one White Furry straight at Max.
"Exploding Sand Attack!" Max created a large arrow made of sand and launch it at Eve though on just a few feet below.
"Huh, it looks like you're exhausted to make a proper aim. I have the high ground!" Eve mocked a little.
Max got hit by the snow attack sending him trembling back and back against the ground, but he smiles despite getting bit.
"Actually, my arrow is right where it should be." Max proclaimed and closed his hand.
It was then Max's real plan happen as the sand arrow suddenly exploded big causing the snowy hill to collapse and Eve to fall from the top, he tries to soften his fall with a blizzard blast though he still hit the ground hard.
"It looks like Max has taken away Eve's advantage of having the high ground." Chapati commented.
"He knew using that attack would leave himself open, but he risks it all to get Eve in with that exploding sand attack." Yajima figured out.
"Now that was a glacering move!" Jack excited.
"Nice, he got that snowy guy on the ropes." Wolverine said proud of his fellow guild member.
"Now he just needs to score a win." Warren hoped that Mx can win.
"Damn, that attack use most of my magic and I only got enough for one last attack." Max smiled panting.
"Then that mean I will have to end this fight right here, right now." Eve said thinking the same of what Max was saying.
"Oh, it looks like Max and Eve are about to end this fight with one last magic attack. This guessing of who will win is giving me more chills than usual!" Jack stated.
"Can the sand fairy bury that snow Pegasus, or will it be the snow Pegasus cool down the sand fairy?" Chapati asked the exciting question.
"Only one way to find out and nobody blink even for a second." Yajima added.
"Here I come!" Max charged up every ounce of magical power into one final attack.
"For my guild, I shall not fall!" Max determined as he charge up his magic power too.
Max and Eve stare at each other for a moment to see who will make the first move as the attacks they're about to unleash will decide the fate of this battle, with their friends/family of their representative guild watching meaning they cannot let this chance go to waste.
Jack's nose twitches from something that got caught in his nose and let out a sneeze.
Max and Eve's eyes widen before charging at each other at the fullest speed they can muster into their legs with their right hand powered up by their magic.
Everyone watches this to see how this final clash will go between the sand and snow magic user.
"Sand Rebellion!" Max shouted throwing his attack at Eve.
"White Fang!" Eve unleashed a blizzaed attack at Max to finish this.
Both attacks collide causing a big explosion of snow and sand mixing in for a moment or two which blew both wizards away from each other and crash landed on the ground hard.

Mato quickly got in to see which of them won as he inspects both wizards going with Max first finding him to be unconscious, then check on Eve to be in the same state as Max is.
"Both wizards are unconscious! This battle is a draw!" Mato called out surprising everyone.
"Oh my, this battle became too intense for both wizards to take each other out and now we have our first draw battle in years." Chapati announced.
"Those two young men gave it their all in this fight, I could feel their determination when their attack clashed." Yajima smiled.
"It looks like cold is gonna have to share this day with the hot." Jack commented.
"There for, both mages will gain five points for ending this fight in a draw." Chapati mentioned.
"Wow, that was awesome! Fairy Tail sure still have some strong friends." Millianna complimented.
"Yeah, that guy wasn't bad in a fight either. I might start to like him." Risley giggled. Of course, she didn't really mean to like him in a love interest way.
"That guild where you said Erza is a part of, perhaps I wouldn't mind meeting them in person." Kagura said.
Meanwhile standing at the top of a giant statue close to the arena, Jellal, Ultear, and Meredy are standing on that statue as they look through Ultear's crystal ball watching the match from the beginning to the end.
"Man, I was feeling nerve wreck from that." Meredy sighed.
"The battle sure was interesting, even the lesser members of the guild are something to behold." Ultear commented.
"Which is why to never underestimate all the members of Fairy Tail, but there is something that has been bothering me." Jellal said.
"That we haven't senses the dark magic for a while?" Meredy asked.
"Well, there's that, but I mean about this Brotherhood Guild as we never heard of them until now." Jellal pointed out.
"The guild was just recently announced as a light guild, but something tells me this group is more than meets the eye." Ultear theorized.
"Wish we could investigate on them if we didn't have the dark magic to look into, I will have to have a little talk with Wolverine about this." Jellal said.
Suddenly the three members of Crime Sorcière felt something hit the inside of their hits feeling a strange and dangerous feeling, they quickly knew that it's the dark magic they have been sensing.
"Quickly, try to determine where this magic is coming from!" Jellal ordered.
Ultear quickly use her crystal ball to focus on where that dark magic is coming from, but the dark feeling of this dark magic fade away too quick like a thunderbolt.
"Damn it, I can't sense it anymore, but it was definitely that dark feeling and it felt a little stronger too." Ultear cursed that they didn't act quick enough.
"We'll have to inform Fairy Tail about this fast so they can help us." Meredy suggested.
"Right, I better go now." Jellal placed his hood over his head and made his way to the Fairy Tail group.
"(I hope this darkness doesn't ruin anything for everyone during the festival otherwise there might be some major problem.)" Jellal thought hoped.

Hope you like how I gave Max the spotlight in this chapter showing how stronger he is in a fight when he fought against Eve in that battle round, he may not have won but still gave it his all for the guild and it looks like Jellal and the two girls caught on the dark magic feeling.
