Hey, guys. Welcome to the new chapter of 'The American Dragons: Jake and Kris Long!'. I hope that you guys will enjoy the chapter...anyway, I don't own anything except for my OCs, as the OCs Shang-Chi, Noire, Dromos, and Mei Long belong entirely to 9655.
NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
"Oh, he has your eyes," Rose says with a soft smile as it was a normal day in New York City, and we see her and Jake hanging out on the outskirts of the city, taking the time to enjoy the winter season by having a date and building a snowman.
"But he has your smile," Jake says with a smirk on his face while wearing his Winter Clothes, which consist of him wearing a long-sleeved red snow jacket with white furry cuffs, a long-sleeved yellow turtleneck sweater underneath, long blue baggy jeans, and a pair of red/white shoes.
"I don't know where that nose came from, though," Rose says with a playful tone while wearing her Winter Clothes, which consists of her wearing a long-sleeved turtleneck pink sweater with a green stripe wrapped around where her breasts should be, a pair of pink gloves, a black belt with a golden belt buckle, long white pants, and a pair of pink snowboots.
"Hmmm, I think he's missing something," Jake said while tapping his chin as Rose snapped her fingers in realization.
"Arms," Rose says while turning around to run away as, after making sure she was gone, Jake turned to the snowman with a sly smirk on his face.
"Head of a Dragon," Jake said while summoning his Dragon head with a burst of red flames as he opened up his mouth and fired a big stream of red flames that collided against the snowman, and was able to use his Dragon Firebreathing to create a big, highly detailed ice sculpture of Rose. "Ha, ha, what do you know? He is a she." Jake says with a cocky smirk on his face while feeling proud that his Firebreathing had increased drastically since he got his powers and de-summoned his Dragon Head just as Rose appeared with a bunch of sticks in her arms as she dropped them in shock at the sight of the ice sculpture.
"Jake, how did you...well, that's...that's beautiful!"
"Not as beautiful as the real thing," Jake said with a flirty tone, causing Rose to blush heavily and smile warmly as she closed her eyes and leaned her head forward while puckering her lips as the American Dragon perked up and summoned his Dragon Legs with dual bursts of red flames to reach her height as he was about to kiss her, but stopped as the Huntsgirl's Phone rang loudly, causing her to flinch in surprise as she opened her eyes and separated from him as her disappointed crush de-summoned his Dragon Legs.
"Ahem! Sorry, Jake, I have to go! Bye!" A guilty and urgent Rose says while running off and leaving behind a disappointed Jake as we cue over to a random warehouse, and we see Kris and Shang-Chi standing inside with Danika as said person looked around worriedly.
"So, uh, what do we do now?" Danika asked while wearing a pink beanie with a red heart fuzzball planted on the top, a long-sleeved light gray snow jacket with red furry ends, a long-sleeved white shirt underneath, a black belt with a square-shaped silver belt buckle, long light baggy purple pants, and a pair of black snow boots.
"Well, we're going to test out your Phoenix Powers by having you fire up as hard as you can," Kris says while wearing a long-sleeved pink opened snow jacket with a short-sleeved black t-shirt underneath, long baggy blue jeans, and a pair of light green snow boots.
"So, go ahead and Flare Up, babe," Shang-Chi says while wearing a pair of purple earmuffs, a long-sleeved dark purple snow jacket with a black tank top underneath, a black belt with a golden belt buckle, long black pants, and a pair of purple snow boots.
"Okay, but I have to ask, if you two are Dragons, then why are you wearing Winter Clothes?"
"Oh, we are wearing Winter Clothes so that people don't ask us questions on why and how we're walking around in our normal clothes and haven't developed any type of frostbite at all," Shang-Chi said as Kris nodded.
"Makes sense, but quick question, though, how can Dragons, especially Fire Ones, survive in the winter?" Danika asked as Kris grinned and shrugged.
"Oh, that's because all Dragons have Elemental Resistance, regardless of what type of Elements they can use. For example, a Dragon can withstand being stuck in a literal winter storm and won't be bothered by it whatsoever, or be drowned in a sea of molten lava and would be fine." Kris explained as Danika nodded and then grew serious as she then covered herself in a big burst of orange flames to transform into her Phoenix Form and didn't douse her flames as they continued growing bigger and bigger.
"Amazing, Phoenixes really are masters of fire." An intrigued Kris said before she and Shang-Chi noticed how hot Danika was getting as she began affecting the others around her.
"Okay, she is getting way hotter than expected...Danika! Shut it down!"
"I can't!" A panicking Danika screamed while growing so hot that even Kris and Shang-Chi began feeling the flames even with their elemental resistance as they reacted quickly.
"Dragon...Up!" Kris roared out while Shang-Chi remained silent as they closed their eyes in concentration, and a circle of pink/purple fire appeared below their feet and started slowly lifting them up into the air as Kris and Shang-Chi opened their eyes, revealing them to be dragon-like as they growled furiously, and the circle around them formed into a pink/purple mini tornado that swallowed them up and hid their transformations from view as Kris and Shang-Chi then flew out of the tornado while morphed into their Dragon Forms as they flew over to tackle a flaming Danika through the wall of the warehouse and sends her crashing against a huge mountain of snow, dousing her flames and covering the whole area with water as Kris gave Shang-Chi's Girlfriend a shocked and worried look. "Danika, that was insane! You were at four thousand Kelvin! Any hotter, and you're approaching supernova! That's the temperature of the sun!" Kris said as Shang-Chi nodded.
"Not only could you kill all of us, but you could potentially set fire to the Earth's atmosphere and destroy all life as we know it."
"Got it, Supernova bad," Danika said with a nervous and awkward smile as the American Dragons gave her deadpan looks and sighed heavily as they shook their heads.

They're cool, they're hot,
Like a frozen sun!
Sleeping soundly on their respective beds, Jake and Kris suddenly woke up as they bounced out of their beds, both feeling really excited for the day as they ran out of their rooms to do their morning routines and, after dressing up and eating their breakfasts, the Long Twins brought out their skateboards as they rode down the stairs and raced past their surprised Parents and Little Sister as they skated outside.
They're young and fast,
They're the chosen ones!
Their Best Friends, Spud, Trixie, Hunter, and Shang-Chi smiled warmly at the Long Twins but then winced in sympathy as Jake accidentally sprang out his Dragon Tail, and it got tangled up with the wheels on his skateboard as he lost control of his momentum and crashed against a couple of trashcans as Kris didn't fare any better as she accidentally activated her Flight of a Dragon and flew up into the air before losing control of her powers as the busty female teenager fell down and crashed inside of a dumpster.
People, we're not braggin',
They're the American Dragons!
Recovering from their accidents, the Long Twins and their Best Friends skated towards school as Jake turned his head and gasped as he saw Rose talking with her friends, and, feeling his heart beating faster than normal, the Male American Dragon stared at his crush lovingly with a big blush on his face as Jake didn't look where he was going and crashed against a nearby delivery man's truck.
Rolling her eyes at her Twin Brother's obvious crush on Rose, Kris glanced at her friends and gasped at the sight of Hunter's gorgeous face glinting against the sun as she blushed slightly, and the Female American Dragon sighed dreamily as Kris didn't look where she was going and crashed against the same truck that Jake crashed into. Hunter, Trixie, Spud, and Shang-Chi gasped worriedly as they ran over to the truck to check on their friends and cousins when suddenly, red/pink flames emerged from the vehicle as the Long Twins flew out of the truck in their Dragon Forms and posed heroically as they smiled down at their friends and cousin reassuringly.
They're going to stop their enemies with their awesome Dragon Powers!
Dragon Teeth, Dragon Tail, Burning Dragon Fire!
They're real live wires!
At Central Park, we see Jake, Kris, and Shang Chi skateboarding toward their Grandfather and Magical Animal Guardians as Lao Shi turns to them and silently points ahead as the Human/Dragon Hybrids' eyes widen in surprise at the sight of all their enemies coming together to defeat them as they glared at the trio and stood in fighting stances.
Nodding to each other determinedly, the trio transformed into their Dragon Forms as Jake smirked cockily at the readers while Kristina smiled shyly and Shang-Chi grinned slyly, but, unknown to the teens, however, Huntsgirl appeared behind them as she stopped on Kristina's tail and then also grabbed Jake's tail as she pulled it, and Jake and Kris's eyes widen as they yelled out in surprise/pain and accidentally blew red/pink fire at their Grandpa, Cousin, and Magical Guardians, who gave the Long Twins deadpanned looks as Fu Dog and Noire puts out the small lick of flames on their tails.
American Dragons!
(Dragon Up!)
American Dragons!
Jake and Kristina flew across the vast island of Manhattan as the magical creatures waved friendly at their magical Human/Dragon Hybrid Protectors, and the Long Twins waved back as a small group of fangirling fairies flew towards Jake and placed multiple kisses on his face as a pair of gargoyles whistled at Kristina as the Male American Dragon tried in vain to push the fairies off of his face while the Female American Dragon blushed madly as she covered her eyes shyly and accidentally rammed into her Twin Brother as her long body wrapped around his body and tied him up as they crashed down to the ground with a couple of startled yelps.
They're the American Dragons!
(Freestyle with the dragons!)
The American Dragons fought against the Huntsman and Huntsgirl as Jake grabbed his Twin Sister and twirled her around like a lasso before throwing her towards the villains as Kris used her elastic body to wrap around Huntsman and Huntsgirl's bodies as the Dragon-Slaying Villains tried in vain to escape as Jake grabbed Kristina's tail and twirled them around for a few seconds before Kris let go of them as they were launched up high into the sky.
The Long Twins fought against a horde of teeth-like monsters as Kristina flew across the battlefield like a torpedo and used her stretchy body to trip up the monsters towards Jake and Shang-Chi, who punched through them with ease as Hayley cheered in the background, and we then see the Long Twins facing off against a small Alien/Demonic Creature as their friends and a teenage blue-haired girl watched on worriedly.
Then, we see the Human/Dragon Hybrids fighting against Huntsgirl as she throws multiple punches at Jake, who blocks all of her punches as he swiftly grabs her last punch and throws her toward Kristina as the Female American Dragon smirks and stretches out her body as she catches Huntsgirl and then catapults her towards Shang-Chi, who delivered a massive uppercut to her chin as he sends the teenage ninja flying through the air before crashing against the roof of a car as Huntsgirl groans and slowly went unconscious as the Long Kids shared a high-five. Finally, we see a tied-up Jake and Kris struggling to escape as Huntsgirl raises her glowing green spear and glares hatefully into their terrified eyes as she screams, and Rose charges at them as she aims for their hearts.
Their skills are getting faster with Grandpa, the Master,
Their destiny will walk up the streets,
Showtime, baby, for their legacies,
American Dragons!
Jake and Kris were practicing mastering their Dragon Powers as Lao Shi watched on from the background with an approving look on his face as he gestured for them to continue, and after a few minutes of training, Jake and Kristina glanced at their Grandfather before glancing back at each other as they smirked mischievously and nodded as they flew up high into the air.
Surprised, Lao Shi watched on as the Long Twins flew farther and farther away from him as they shared a high-five, but then they accidentally transformed back into their Human Forms as Jake and Kris screamed and hugged each other in fear as they fell down. Landing on the ground with surprisingly no injuries, the Long Twins jumped back in surprise as they were suddenly standing on a stage with their friends, and a huge crowd of New Yorkers stood in front of them as they cheered for their Magical Guardians.
Confused, Jake and Kris heard music beginning to play behind them as they turned around and saw their friends and family performing on stage with them as their band and the Long Twins turned to stare at each other for a few seconds before smirking widely as they grabbed a pair of microphones and starts rapping.
Jake: From the J to the A to the K to the E
(American Dragons!)
Kris: And from the K to the R to the I to the S
(American Dragons!)
Jake and Kris: We're the Mack-Daddy/Mama Dragons from the NYC, ya hear?!
(American Dragons)
After finishing their little short epic rap song, the crowd cheered louder as Rose appeared on stage while Hunter tossed his drumsticks away as the Duo walked towards the Long Twins, who blushed at the sight of their crushes walking towards them as Rose grabbed Jake's hands and smiled at him warmly while Hunter grabbed Kristina's waist and brought his crush closer to his body as they leaned in for a kiss as the Long Twins shared a quick fist-bump with each other before turning to their crushes as they leaned closer to kiss them.
Jake! Kris! Snap out of it and stop destroying Grandpa's Shop!
Lao Shi's annoyed yell rang out as Jake and Kris were snapped out of their daydreams and winced as they realized that they accidentally destroyed their Grandfather's Shop during their daydreams and simultaneously gagged in disgust as the Long Twins realized that they were going to kiss a couple of dirty and wet mops.
Aw, man!/Dang it!
(American Dragons!)
The Long Twins cursed as Lao Shi stared at them furiously with his face going red and trembled slightly in silent anger as Jake and Kris smiled down at him sheepishly before bolting out of the shop as they transformed into their Dragon Forms and flew to the sky as, not letting them go that easy, Lao Shi transformed into his Dragon Form and chased after his fleeing Grandchildren while yelling at the American Dragons angrily in either Mandarin/Cantonese.
{The American Dragons: Jake and Kris Long-Season 1 Theme Song Over!}
"I'm telling you, it was the most perfect first date ever..." Jake gushed as we cued to the next morning, and we see Team Dragon hanging out in front of Millard Fillmore Highschool, standing in line to lead them to the bus for the gang to head to their Ski Trip. "...until she took off for no reason."
"Again? This is getting annoying." Spud asked while wearing his normal clothes with the addition of a sleeveless white snow jacket as Trixie nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, how come whenever you two link up, one of you always got to bounce off somewhere?" Trixie asked while wearing a red snow hat with a blue fuzzball planted on the top, a blue scarf wrapped around her neck and reaches down to her back as it has yellow stripes on it, a long-sleeved light purple snow jacket, a pair of dark purple gloves, long green pants, and a pair of red shoes with gray accents.
"Well, I got Dragon Business, and Rose always has gymnastics or her studies. Plus, her Uncle is really strict with her. The guy barely lets her out of their house for an hour." Jake said as Trixie gave him a sympathetic look.
"Uh, Jakey, not to bust your bubble, but if it was gonna happen between you and Rose, you think it maybe would have happened already?"
"Don't worry, bro. You like Rose, and most importantly, she likes you back. Hell, you two even shared a couple of kisses and literally went on a date yesterday. You two are practically an unofficial couple right now." Kris said as Shang-Chi nodded.
"Yeah, you two just need to learn how to balance your Dragon Life and your Gymnastic Life."
"Look, guys, while you guys are right, you two also can't see that Rose has no idea why I keep skipping on her whenever we hang out and could think that I don't like her anymore. If I ever want things to happen with Rose, I gotta tell her the truth."
"The truth? About what?" Danika asked suspiciously as Jake grew serious.
"The real truth. This weekend, I'm telling Rose that I'm a Dragon."
"WHAT?!" Kris, Shang-Chi, Trixie, Spud, and Danika asked in shock just as Mr. Rotwood appeared with a stern glare on his face as he wore traditional German Clothes.
"Mr. and Ms. Long, I didn't know you two were coming on the school ski trip. What fun this weekend will be."
"You have no idea," Trixie said with a smirk just as they dodged due to multiple snowballs flying over to collide against Mr. Rotwood's face as he yelped in surprise, and we then fast forward in time as we see all of the students sitting on the bus with Jake and Kris sitting together while Trixie and Spud sat with each other as Shang-Chi and Danika sat behind them.
"Ah, chaperone, from the French chape, meaning...IF YOU HOODLUMS THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING ON THIS TRIP, YOU'VE GOT ANOTHER THING COMING!" Mr. Rotwood snapped angrily as he glared at his students firmly. "I did not spend 18 years at Farmersteichen University to babysit children on a ski trip, so you will behave or you will be gone! Questions?"
"Looks like somebody forgot to drink his chamomile tea this morning," Danika said with a dry tone as Jake shrugged.
"It's cool. Not even Rotwood's gonna ruin this weekend for me."
"Uh, yeah, about that. I don't think Rose is ready for the, 'D' word." Shang-Chi said worriedly as Kris nodded.
"Yeah, trust me, I love Rose, but...are you sure she will keep the secret?"
"100%. I trust and love Rose, and I want her to know the real me."
"So, what are you gonna do? Slip a note under her door to reveal the real you?" Trixie asked with a dry tone as Spud perked up.
"Yeah. With a cute little picture of a puppy on it." Spud says as he then coughs a bit. "Ahem. Roses are red, puppy tail's waggin', by the way, I'm a Dragon."
"...Okay, not gonna lie, that was a good rhyme, but no, I want to tell her this face to face. My mind's made up. We waited too long to tell you guys the truth about us, and Mom was too scared to tell our Dad the truth about the Dragon Side of the Family and kept that secret for decades. I'm not gonna make the same mistake with Rose." Jake stated with a sincere tone as Kris frowned and sighed heavily.
"Fine, if that's what you think it's best then we will support you, Bro," Kris said while raising her fist as Jake smiled and shared a fistbump with her just as Rose appeared as the Female American Dragon gave him a sly grin. "Good luck, Romeo." Kris said while standing up from her seat as Jake gave her a grateful look and turned to his Maybe Girlfriend.
"Rose, hey, I saved you a seat!"
"Oh, thank you!" A happy Rose said as she was about to go over to sit down next to Jake but was stopped by Mr. Rotwood as he reached over to grab the blonde-haired busty teenage girl and forced her to sit down next to Brad.
"Enough with the dilly-dally. Take your seats!"
"Hey, hey! Rose-alicious!"
"Hi, Brad," Rose said with a very deadpan tone as she looked away in disinterest.
"So, guess what? The Bradster's turned over a new leaf. A leaf of sensitivity and compassion...you know, junk like that. Watch this." Brad said while grunting and shedding one tear as he cheered. "Whoo-hoo! That's right! The Bradster's not afraid to cry! Yeah! You like that, baby, don't you?"
"Oh, I'll give that guy something to cry about," Kris said with a sly grin as she quickly made her way to the back of the bus and hid behind an empty seat. "Fire of a Dragon," Kris whispered to herself quietly with her body now glowing with a blazing pink fiery aura as she placed her hands on the ground and fired a low-level trail of pink heat that made its way over to the underside of Brad's seat, heating it up and caused the Jock Bully to yelp in pain and jump out of his seat as Jake gave a thumbs up to his Twin Sister and stood up from his seat as he rushed over to get into Brad's Seat.
"Hey, missed me?" Jake asked Rose with a suave tone as she perked up and nodded while grabbing his arm to snuggle up against him as a recovered Brad patted his lightly burned butt and whirled around to see Jake sitting in his seat as he was about to complain, but then-
"Brad, what are you doing?! Get in your seat right now!"
"But-,"
"No buts! Sit down!" Professor Rotwood ordered while gesturing over at the seat from where the Long Twins used to sit on as Brad grumbled and glared over at Jake before making his way over to sit down on his seat with everyone not seeing the Huntsgirl sneaking over to leap on top of the bus and hiding in-between the luggage strapped on the top of the vehicle as we then fast forward in time and we see the gang parked in front of the Ski Lodge from where they will spend their trip as their teacher suddenly held out a bunch of Ski Passes. "Attention, students, I hold in my hand the key to your happiness. These are special Ski Passes issued by the school. You must keep them on your person at all times-ARRGGHHH!" Professor Rotwood said before screaming in surprise and pain as everyone immediately got out of their seats and ran over to get their Ski Passes as they accidentally ran over him. "Oh, something broke-No, wait! I think it's just a sprain...oh, no. It's broken..." A groaning Professor Rotwood says while not knowing that Becky had popped out of the luggage and jumped backwards to land behind the bus as she then sneaked off, and we cue back to the others as we see them walking through the Ski Lodge and reached a room as Kris and Trixie glanced down at their Ski Passes.
"Room 215. This is us."
"I wonder who our roommate will be," Kris says as Trixie nodded and reached over to open the door as they spotted Rose going through her luggage while having her back turned against them as a stunned Jake reached over to close the door and turned to her in shock, not knowing that the Huntsgirl had leaped into the room through the window as Rose looked shocked by the sight of her.
"You're rooming with Rose?!"
"Not if you don't let us through the door, we're not," Trixie said sassily as an excited Jake opened up his mouth to talk but was cut off by Kris raising her hand with a bemused look on her face.
"Let me guess, you want us to stay up all night to have a sleepover with Rose and have us talk about you to impress her and then in the morning, you want us to give us all the intel on Rose, huh?"
"Ah, you know me so well," Jake said with a smirk as Kris rolled her eyes playfully.
"Well, I AM your twin. Alright, we will do it."
"You are...the best...sister...ever!" Jake cheered while hugging Kris as she smirked and nodded.
"Yes, I am," Kris says as Jake lets go of her, and the boys turned around to walk away as we cue back to the inside of the room, and we see Rose giving the Huntsgirl a shocked and worried look.
"What are you doing here?! My roommates can come here any second now!"
"I came here to inform you that I will be taking over as the Huntsgirl for tonight and tomorrow, but after that, you need to take over for the next two days."
"Fine, fine, just leave! And here, take this Ski Pass! You are lucky that I got you a spare one while Professor Rotwood wasn't looking!" Rose said while pushing Becky away and handed a Ski Pass to her as she rolled her eyes but nodded and leaped through the window just as the door was opened as Kris and Trixie walked in.
"Hey, Queen, let's have Girl Time!" Trixie says with a fake cheerful tone as she and Kris walked over to a nervous Rose as we cue back to the boys and we see the gang arriving at the room.
"Alright, this is our room," Shang-Chi said as Danika nodded, and they opened the door to see two giggling teenage girls pillow-fighting each other inside.
"Say what? We are forced to be roommates with other boys but you get to have a sleep in the same room with three hot girls? How is that fair?" A pouting Jake asked as Spud hummed.
"Well, wait, Jake, maybe our roommate is a smoking hot supermodel?" Spud suggested while going over to open the door to their assigned room, and both he and the American Dragon gained blank frowns at the sight of Brad lying on the bed inside.
"Hey, look who gets to room with the new, sensitive, softer Bradster?! Go deep, rookie!" Brad screamed while reaching behind him to pull out a football and tossed it over to collide against the boys as they crashed down onto the ground.
"Welp, it's official, life hates us..." Jake says with a groan as we then cue to the next morning and we see Team Dragon standing around outside with the others as Professor Rotwood stood in front of them and had a broken leg as he walked around with the help of his crutches.
"Per school rules, before you do the shushing of the slopes, we must discuss a few safety guidelines. Now, number one...always approach the ski lift with care as you..aah!" Professor Rotwood says just as a ski lift rode over to collide against the back of his head as he got knocked down into the ground with a pained yelp. "What do you call it again when ze broken bone protrudes from ze flesh?"
"Okay, girls, how did that girl-talk go?"
"Pretty good. Rose likes rock and hip-hop music, going to the movies, and doing parkour. She hates jocks, dogs, and absolutely can't stand pumpkins. Don't know why though." Kris said as Trixie nodded and turned to give Jake a sly grin.
"Also, like Kris said, she 100% likes you. The minute we brought you up, Rose spent the next two hours gushing about you. She likes your hair, thinks you're handsome and caring, and has a, and I quote, 'Booty so thick and juicy that I would love to munch on'," Trixie says as Kris winces in disgust.
"Yeah, she kind of forgot that she was talking to her Crush's Sister and apologized for saying that while I was bleaching my brain."
"Hell, yeah, I am so in!" A grinning and blushing Jake said as Danika turned to him worriedly.
"Jake, again, you gotta think this through."
"I agree. Take it from Danika, Spud, and me. It's not the easiest thing in the world finding out your friend is a-,"
"Dragon!" Rose said, interrupting Trixie as Team Dragon flinched worriedly.
"What?"
"Your snowboard," Rose said while pointing over at Jake's Snowboard as he smiled nervously.
"Oh, yeah. Snowboard. Dragon. Ha, that's right. You still got that birthmark?"
"It's kind of permanent," Rose said with a joking tone while briefly taking off one of her pink gloves to show off her birthmark to the others as Spud perked up.
"Hey, I have a birthmark, too!" Spud says while turning around and planned to reach down to grab his pants and underwear to pull them down to show the birthmark on his butt but was stopped by an annoyed Trixie as she reached over to push him away.
"Oh, Spudster, no! You nasty!"
"Ahem, uh, listen, Rose, speaking of birthmarks, there's something I wanted to talk to you about-," Jake says before getting interrupted by Brad rushing over to push him away to talk with a now annoyed Rose.
"Rose-Alicious. Oh, hey, you've got a little something caught in your jacket." Brad says while reaching behind Rose to pull out a rose as she handed it over to her. "I got you a Rose because that's your name. That's what sensitive guys do, right? They give girls Roses and junk. Man, I rule at this stuff."
"...Wow...a rose...thank you so much..." Rose said with a very blank tone as she hated roses because guys thought that she liked roses due to her name.
"Uh, you do realize that Rose hates roses, right? Her favorite flower is the Blue Orchids." Jake said with a knowing tone as Rose looked touched and heartwarmed that he knew that.
"Yeah, as if you know what she likes. Come on, babe." Brad said while grabbing a very reluctant Rose's arm as said person struggled to not break it and was pulled away as Jake watched her go sadly.
"Tough luck, dude," Shang-Chi says while patting Jake on the back as the boys and Kris then paused a bit as they heard something in the distance.
"Ears of a Dragon," The American Dragons say in unison while summoning their Dragon Ears with multiple bursts of red, pink, and purple flames as they heard what seems to be a roar ranging out in the distance.
"Go, we will cover for you three," Danika said as the American Dragons nodded and turned around to rush over back to the Ski Lodge and made their way over to hide behind it as they shared a determined glare.
"Dragon...Up!" The Long Twins roared out while Shang-Chi remained silent as the trio closed their eyes in concentration, and a circle of red/pink/purple fire appeared below their feet and started slowly lifting them up into the air as Jake, Kris, and Shang-Chi opened their eyes, revealing them to be dragon-like as they growled furiously and the circle around them formed into a red/pink/purple mini tornado that swallowed them up and hid their transformations from view as Jake, Kris, and Shang-Chi then leaped out of the tornado while morphed into their Dragon Forms as they landed on the ground and roared savagely as we then cue over to the Huntsgirl and we see her being able to trap the Abominable Snowman with the help of some rope as she was currently talking to the Huntsman via her Huntstaff.
"You've done well, Huntsgirl."
"Thank you, Huntsmaster. I will send him to the Huntsclan after I come back from the trip," Huntsgirl said while hanging up the call as she was then surprised when the American Dragons flew onto the scene to land before her.
"I may be wrong, but I think Abominable over there might be an endangered species." Kris quipped as Huntsgirl glared at them and held out her Huntstaff, although the trio could notice that she looked hesitant and unsure of her actions as they began circling each other.
"The only endangered species I see around here is you three-Wait, what are you doing here, anyway? If I didn't know any better, I'd swear you were following me."
"Well, maybe I am," Jake said, thinking that was a flirty tone, but it just caused Becky to give him an uncomfortable look.
"Yeah, maybe you should change that line, buddy."
"Well, maybe you should chill," Jake said while flapping his wings as he created a big gust of wind.
"Okay, you see that's better," An approving Huntsgirl says just as the big gust of wind flew over to collide against a tree, causing all of the snow to crash on top of her, burying Becky with snow as she was able to pop out of it and turned around to leave as Kris turned around to go over to free the Abominable Snowman by slashing off the rope and Shang-Chi glanced down at the snowy ground to see something stuck in there.
"Hey, you forgot your...Ski Pass?" Shang-Chi says with a surprised tone while bending down to grab the Ski Pass in the snow and shared a worried look with the others as we then fast forward in time and we see Team Dragon having a meeting with each other at the Ski Lodge as a serious Professor Rotwood walked past them with the help of his two crutches.
"You! No skateboarding in the lodge! You two, separate! You six, feet off the coffee table-Whoa!" Professor Rotwood says before tripping over his own crutches and fell down through a door that leads to a flight of stairs as he crashed down into the ground with a new broken leg.
"So anyway, after she ran off, we found this," Shang-Chi said with a glare on his face as he held out the Ski Pass.
"Hold fast. Only people from our school have those." A stunned Trixie said as Jake nodded.
"Exactly. The Huntsgirl is here on the ski trip. She's one of us."
"Whoa, that's a crazy plot twist. Roses are red, violets are blue, your archenemy goes to school with you. Harsh." Spud said with wide eyes as Kris nodded with a determined glare on her face.
"Now all we gotta do is just set a trap."
"Easier said than done, Kris. It's not like the Huntsgirl is stupid enough to just hang around in the lodge, knowing that the American Dragons are around." Danika says as, unknown to them, Becky (Disguised as Rose), could be seen talking to the Huntsmaster through her Huntstaff.
"What do you mean you won't be bringing me an Abominable Snowman pelt?"
"Don't worry. I have something better. Three Dragon Skins. I'll be slaying them tonight." Becky says while hanging up the call just as Jake appeared out of nowhere as she flinched in surprise.
"Hey, did I hear you right?"
"Oh, well, I was-,"
"You're going sleighing? Because I love a good sleigh ride." Jake said as Becky mentally sighed in relief that her cover wasn't blown. "In fact, maybe you and me can go sleighing tonight. See, there's something I want to tell you and-,"
"Hey, Rose! Oh, look. I think you dropped something! More Roses for my Rose-Alicious!" Brad says while going over to Becky and reaching behind her to pull out a bouquet of roses as he proceeds to pull her away, ignoring the fact that she looks uncomfortable and irritated as Jake glared at him.
"Yo, that fool is going down!"
"Forget him, Cus. We got bigger flapjacks to flip." Shang-Chi said while reaching over to grab Jake's arm as he pulled him away.
"...Uh, guys? I feel the need to tell you two that Danika and I are a little disturbed by this plan." Spud says with an uncomfortable look on his face as we fast forward in time and we see Team Dragon hanging out in the hallway of the Ski Lodge as Spud was dressed up as a Leprechaun while Danika was dressed up as a mermaid as Shang-Chi eyed her lustfully.
"I'm more disturbed by the fact that the Long Twins not only own Leprechaun and Mermaid Costumes, but brought them on a Ski Trip. What's up with that?" A weirded-out Trixie asked as Jake shrugged.
"What? So we overpacked."
"Now play the part, guys," Kris said as the duo nodded and began walking and crawling around.
"Oh, gosh, begorrah. 'Tis a sad thing indeed to be a little, lost Leprechaun and Mermaid."
"We I do hope a Ninja Huntress doesn't come upon us," Danika said just as a nearby door opened and someone with blonde hair popped out as the Long Twins were quick to tackle them into the ground.
"Gotcha, Huntsgirl!" The Long Twins exclaimed in unison before being surprised to realize that they had tackled a Teenage Boy with blonde hair on the ground.
"Uh, actually, it's just Earl-Hey, are you a Leprechaun and a Mermaid?" The Now-Named Earl asked Spud and Danika as they shook their heads.
"No, we are just wearing costumes," Danika says while she and Spud removed their costumes as we then fast forward in time, and we see Team Dragon walking to the girls' room.
"Yo, guys, this thing has gone way too far. You two are tackling innocent..." Trixie says before trailing off as she opened the door, and the gang was stunned to see that Rose had flipped her bed around to begin pulling herself up and down as she even raised herself up to do a handstand on her bed and started raising herself up and down with only one hand as Team Dragon hurriedly left the room and closed the door as Kris turned to the others with a shocked look on her face.
"Yo, did you see that, guys?"
"Hell, yeah! Rose is totally buff!" An aroused Jake says while sharing a high five with Spud and Shang-Chi as Kris, Danika, and Trixie gave the boys flat looks as we then fast forward in time and we see Team Dragon hiding behind a desk with a microphone in the Male American Dragon's hand.
"Trust me, Trix, this plan is foolproof," Jake said while coughing a bit as he then activated the microphone. "Attention in the lodge! There's a collect call at the front desk from...Huntsmaster!" Jake said just as a Russian Woman appeared out of nowhere as he leaped over to tackle her into the ground. "Yah! Wrong number, Huntsgirl! Think you can hide under all that padding?!" Jake asked with a glare...before flinching in surprise as he realized that he didn't tackle the Huntsgirl.
"Izvinite! YA ne govoryu po-angliyski! YA prosto khotel v tualet! (I'm sorry! I don't speak English! I just wanted to use the bathroom!)," The Russian Woman says while pushing off Jake as she ran over to get inside of the Women's Bathroom.
"Okay. Maybe we need a new plan." Jake says just as they spotted Becky walking over to a heavily injured Professor Rotwood as she smiled at her sheepishly.
"So I must have lost my Ski Pass somewhere. Do you think I could maybe get another one?"
"Well, normally I would never allow it, but seeing as you asked so nicely, I'm sure I could allow it-,"
"Hey, Rose, can I-,"
"Aiiiiyah!" Becky screamed angrily while feeling a Student walk behind her and grab his shoulder as she reached behind her to grab him and judo-flipped him over to crash down on top of Professor Rotwood's body as he screamed in pain.
"Aah! My ribs!"
"Holy crap. Did you all see that?" A stunned Shang-Chi asked as an oblivious Jake nodded.
"Yeah. Rose must be taking Self-Defense Classes. Makes sense given how overprotective her Uncle is." Jake says with the others giving him disbelieving looks as we fast forward in time, and we see him going back inside his room as he spots Brad messing around with the radio.
"Dude, check it out."
"Gale-force winds and heavy snowfall will combine to create blizzard conditions."
"Hear that? A blizzard is coming in. The ladies love the blizzards. The cold makes them all snuggly. I'm gonna totally make my move with Rose tonight. I got all the junk for romance... Chocolates, candlelight..." Brad bragged to Jake while pulling out a bunch of romantic stuff from his bag as Jake noticed that he pulled out a music cassette.
"Let me guess, romantic music?"
"Are you kidding? These are just so I don't have to listen to her talk or you for that matter." Brad says rudely while putting on his earphones as he smirked cockily. "Soon enough, Rose and I will be at Smooch City!" Brad says while rearing back his head as he began laughing mockingly.
"Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, has, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!"

Brad laughed smugly as Jake fumed, and we then fast forward in time as we see a bunch of students walking past a still heavily injured Professor Rotwood to make their way out of the Ski Lodge.
"Don't worry about me now, huh? My Teutonic blood allows me to endure extraordinarily high levels of pain...what's that, Mother? The chickens are loose again?" Professor Rotwood asked groggily while falling backwards through an opened window and crashing down into the snow as Team Dragon appeared.
"I gotta tell Rose that I'm a Dragon before Brad gets the chance to make his move," Jake said as Team Dragon immediately froze, and a serious Trixie stepped up.
"Uh, Jake...I don't want to be the one to bring this up, but seeing as you're blind as a bat, haven't you been noticing anything strange about the way that Rose has been acting?"
"No,"
"Denial, party of one? Your table's ready," Spud says as Danika crossed her arms.
"I mean, the evidence is hard to ignore, Jake. The missing ski pass? The ninja body slam? The pro wrestler biceps? Not to mention that she's the only girl in our class with blonde hair."
"I'm sorry, Jake, but they are right. Rose is definitely Huntsgirl, and we're not about to let you tell your archnemesis that you're a Dragon."
"What? Guys, that's crazy. She can't be the Huntsgirl. She just can't."
"Dude, I'm sorry to say this, but even I realized that Rose is the Huntsgirl by this point," Spud said as Trixie nodded.
"For real, if homeboy here knows what's up, then you know that your brain is off the chain. Rose is the Huntsgirl, admit it. I mean, hell, didn't you tell us that the Huntsgirl just happened to end up near my apartment a while back and always seemed to leave whenever you have to get back to Rose? Wasn't that suspicious as hell?"
"...Hey, you're pretty sure about this, Trixie," Jake said with a suspicious glare as he pointed at her accusingly. "Too sure! Maybe because you're hiding something! You know, we've searched every girl's room in this resort except yours, Huntsgirl!"
"...Nigga, are you serious?" A disbelieving Trixie asked as she facepalmed. "There's a huge flaw in your deduction, Einstein."
"Oh, yeah, and what's that?" Jake asked angrily as Kris reached behind her to pull out a photo of the Huntsgirl and handed it over to Trixie, who grabbed it and pointed at the exposed parts of the Huntsgirl's body, which clearly showed that she is white, and Trixie then gestured at the color of her skin as Jake glanced at between her and the photo as he sweated awkwardly. "...Oh...well, then, maybe Danika is the Huntsgirl! We didn't check her room either!" Jake said as Danika only gave him a blank look and growled as her hair started to flicker like fire as she shook her head.
"Okay, now you're just blindly accusing me, dude. If I were her, I'd have shut you guys down by now. Look, I'm sorry, but it's Rose."
"Roses are red, Jake wants to hurl 'cause he just found out that Rose is Huntsgirl."
"Once again, nice rhyme, Spud," Shang-Chi says as Jake fumed just as he spotted Brad walking out of the Ski Lodge to try and find Rose as he turned around to leave.
"Jake, wait-,"
"If Rose really is the Huntsgirl, I'm going to find out myself!" A serious Jake said while running out of the Ski Lodge as Kris chased after him.
"Roses are red, Spud is afraid, everyone is ticked off, and Jake and Kris are probably getting slayed."
"Okay, that's enough, Spud." An irritated Shang-Chi says as we cue back to the American Dragons following after Brad, and they can be seen walking up a snowy mountain as a big blizzard occurs around them.
"Rose! Rose-alicious! Ding-ding, baby! You've got a ticket for the Brad-o-rail, now boarding at station love! Whoo-whoo!"
"God, my brain cells are dying the more I hear him talk," Kris said with a dry tone as Jake nodded in agreement.
"Eyes of a Dragon," The Long Twins said in unison while summoning their Dragon Eyes as they were able to see a faraway image of the Huntsgirl (Rose) standing on the cliff of the snowy mountain, and the Long Twins grew serious as the Dragon/Human Magical Hybrids glare in determination and close their eyes as the American Dragons begin concentrating and a circle of red/pink fire appeared below them as it slowly lifted them up into the air and Kris and Jake then opened their eyes, revealing them to be dragon-like as they growled furiously.
"Dragon...Up!" The Long Twins roared out as the circle around them formed into a large red/pink tornado that swallowed them up and hid their transformations from view as the American Dragons then leaped out of the tornado in their Dragon Forms and immediately took flight before Brad could see them as they began flying straight towards the Huntsgirl, who was messing around with a large net that was able to trap the Abominable Snowman as the American Dragons flew over to land behind her.
"What exactly did we tell you about trapping innocent creatures?" Jake asked with a glare as he and Kris stepped forward, only to trip a ropewire as a large wooden cage fell on top of them, surprising them as we then cue back to the Ski Lodge, and we see an angry Trixie pacing around as the others stood near her.
"You know what? Forget him! Let him fend for himself out in the snow with a blizzard and a ninja!"
"I'm worried about him, too," Spud says as Shang-Chi nods in agreement.
"And Kris as well."
"Well, come on, then. We gotta get our rescue on." A smirking Trixie says as the others nodded and quickly made their way out of the Ski Lodge as they ran up the snowy mountain, following after the Long Twins' Footprints as the last of their footprints morphed to resemble Dragons' Feet and it didn't take long for them to put two and two together.
"I'm guessing that's where the wings and claws kicked in," Danika said as Spud frowned worriedly.
"There's no way we could walk up that mountain in this storm."
"Who said anything about walking?" Shang-Chi asked with a smirk as Danika nodded in agreement, and the American Dragon closed his eyes in concentration as a circle of purple fire appeared below his feet and started slowly lifting him up into the air as Shang-Chi opened his eyes, revealing them to be dragon-like as he growled furiously and the circle around him formed into a purple mini tornado that swallowed him up and hid his transformation from view as Shang-Chi then leaped out of the tornado while morphed into his Dragon Form as he landed on the ground and roared savagely before going down on all fours to allow Trixie and Spud to mount him as Danika grew serious and covered herself in a big burst of orange flames to transform into her Phoenix Form as Team Dragon then took flight and began making their way up the snowy mountain as we cue back to the Long Twins and see them looking at the wooden cage with blank looks on their faces as the Huntsgirl walked up to them with a scowl on her face.
"Looks like you two are mine at last."
"...Huntsgirl, be real for us, did you make this trap for us or for the Abominable Snowman?" Jake asked in irritation as Rose blinked slowly.
"For you two, duh."
"...So...you genuinely believe that a wooden cage, not even one lined up with Sphinx Hair, can hold us down?" Kris asked as Huntsgirl nodded.
"Yes, I do. Why?"
"...Well...did you forget that we are Fire Breathing Dragons? Or that we have super strength and can punch or slash through steel? Or the fact that we can shapeshift now?" Jake asked dryly as Kris used her Shapeshifting Powers to turn herself into dark pink goo and easily slipped through the wooden cage to land on the snowy ground while morphing herself back to normal as the Male American Dragon merely flexed his muscles and wings to easily break the wooden cage apart with super extreme ease as he then opened up his mouth and fired a big stream of red flames that burned down the remains of the cage.
"...Huh...you know, the fact that you two and your friend are powerful and Magical Fire-Breathing Dragons completely slipped my mind," Huntsgirl says with an embarrassed blush on her face as we briefly cue back over to Brad and we see him accidentally slipping as he crashed down into the snowy mountain and rolled down on it, covering himself with snow as the Jock collided against Professor Rotwood, who was being wheeled into the ambulance as he got injured even more. "...Well...catch me if you can!" Huntsgirl said while holding out her Huntstaff and morphed it into a Huntsboard as she leaped onto it and began sledding down the snowy mountain as the American Dragons shared a smirk.
"Snowboarding? That's what we're saying."
"Let's do this, bro," Kris says while she and Jake walked over to grab two trees and ripped them out of the ground with their Super Strength before using a combination of their Red/Pink Firebreathing and Dragon Claws to shred the trees apart to create makeshift wooden snowboards and leaped onto them to begin sliding down the snowy mountain to catch up with Rose as she smirked at them cockily.
"Not bad! Let's see how you two do off the trail!" Huntsgirl says while turning around to begin sledding through the trees as the American Dragons followed after her, and Jake either used his Dragon Claws or Dragon Strength to either slash apart the incoming trees or simply punch through them while Kris used her Dragon Breath and Dragon Odor to burn all of the incoming trees with her Pink Flames or using her natural odor to wither the trees to death as the trio then began doing some epic tricks. "Hah! Nice moves, Dragons!"
"Right back atcha, Huntsgirl!"
"But you need a pair of wings to really catch air, babe!" Jake said while he and Kris took flight and flew over to collide against a surprised Huntsgirl just as she launched herself up into the air and was sent flying over to crash down into the snowy ground with a pained grunt as her Huntsboard crashed down into the ground and morphed into a Huntstaff. "Hah! How do you like us now?"
"You'll pay for that!" Huntsgirl said with a glare while trying to go over and grab her Huntstaff, only for the Female American Dragon to fly over and wrap around her body to restrain her as she grunted. "Hey!"
"I'm sorry, Huntsgirl..."
"...but we have to know," Jake said rather seriously while going over to grab the Huntsgirl's mask and took it off to reveal her face as he was shocked to see a glaring Rose's face, and Kris didn't looked surprised but somber that her and the others' suspicion was proven right. "...I can't believe it...you guys were right..."
"Well?! What are you waiting for?! Finish the job!" Huntsgirl said angrily as Jake dropped the mask and stumbled backwards in shock and horror as Kris worriedly let go of Rose and flew over to check on him as said person dropped down to her knees and teared up as she lowered her head in defeat and acceptance. "You know my real identity, and in the Huntsclan, that means death! You know my real face, so finish me off, Dragons! Just like all the other times that you killed innocent Humans! Do it!"
"What the hell are you on about?" A disbelieving and annoyed Kris asked as Rose raised her head to glare up at her.
"DON'T ACT SO INNOCENT! YOU DRAGONS HAD SPENT KILLING TONS OF HUMANS OVER THE YEARS, AND IT'S WHY THE HUNTSCLAN WAS FORMED! TO KILL EVIL MAGICAL CREATURES LIKE YOU TWO AND YOUR FRIENDS!" Huntsgirl snapped furiously, accidentally causing an avalanche as tons of snow fell off from the snowy mountain, and the Long Twins reacted quickly by taking flight while the Huntsgirl remained stunned and scared as the snow hit her and began dragging her over to a nearby cliff to fall down to her death.
"Rose!" Jake shouted worriedly as he shot down like a bullet and was able to catch a closed-eyed Huntsgirl before she fell off the cliff, and Rose panted heavily as she inspected her body and then opened her eyes to see the American Dragon holding her bridal style as he then flew her down to place her on the ground safely and Kris appeared as she flew over to land beside them.
"You...why do you Dragons keep saving my life?!" A frustrated and confused Huntsgirl said while removing one of her gloves to show her birthmark as she aimed it at the others. "You all knew I was born to slay Dragons...and yet you guys keep saving my life...why?!"
"Of course, we will keep saving your life. We may be Dragons, but we are not monsters. We won't let you just die like that." Kris said with a soft smile on her face as Rose teared up and looked away.
"I don't deserve your kindness. You should've just let me fall. I'm already considered dead to the Huntsclan,"
"No, Rose," Jake stated firmly, shocking Rose to the core as she stood stunned. "I can see it in your eyes. You're a good person."
"...How did you know my name?"
"Why wouldn't we know your name? I'm only the guy who is madly in love with you, and she is your friend." Jake said with a solemn tone as he turned to Kris, who sighed heavily and nodded as they turned back to Rose.
"Dragon Down!" The Long Twins exclaimed in unison as they transformed back into their Human Forms with dual bursts of red and pink flames, causing Huntsgirl to step back in total shock as her jaw dropped.
"...Jake...Kris...you two...are the American Dragons?" Huntsgirl asked while tearing up as she covered her mouth. "...I...I knew it...ever since that Shapeshitting Incident when I saw you guys semi-change back and I saw your clothes, I had a feeling...but I was trying to tell myself that I was acting crazy. That you couldn't be the American Dragons."
"Trust me, my brother knew how you felt," Kris said while giving Jake a withering look as he looked away.
"B-But...I don't understand! Dragons are bloodlusted and evil monsters! How can you two be the American Dragons?! You two are the nicest people I know!" Huntsgirl said as a serious Jake turned to her.
"Rose, I don't know what the Huntsclan told you, but...not ALL Dragons are evil. There are only a couple of Evil Dragons in existence, and trust me, we hate them just as much as you all hate Magical Creatures."
"But-,"
"Rose, let me ask you something, if we were evil...why are you still alive?"
"...I'm sorry, what?"
"If we were really evil, why are you still alive? No offense, your weapons are dangerous, and the Huntsclan are on the Top 25 Threats to the Magical Community for a reason, but if we were evil, you would be dead the first time we fought you." Kris said as Jake nodded.
"Yeah, even with all of your skills and weapons, you are still Human, Rose, while we are huge magical Dragons. We could've ripped you in half, eat off your head, liquify your insides with our flames-Hell, if we were evil, we wouldn't have bothered saving your butt not once, not even twice, but three times. In fact, if anything, Dragons are scared of the Huntsclan for trying to kill innocent Magical Creatures for years."
"What? Why are they so scared of us? They're the monsters!" Huntsgirl pointed out as Kris growled angrily.
"Your ego is stinking up the mountain! Don't you realize that, to them, YOU'RE the monsters?!"
"What? How can we be the monsters?"
"The Huntsclan are trying to slay Magical Creatures for the thrill of the hunt. That is scary." Kris said with a glare as Jake nodded.
"Yeah, we have tons of evidence of the Huntsclan, as a whole, being an evil organization hellbent on hunting innocent Magical Creatures to kill them. Do you have any evidence of Magical Creatures, as a whole, being pure monsters who kill innocent humans for fun?" Jake asked as the Huntsgirl opened up her mouth to argue...only to stop as she looked down in thought.
"Look, clearly you are not as bad as we thought you were, and because of that, we won't tell the Dragon Community who you truly are, and we expect you to do the same for us against the Huntsclan for saving your life three times by this point," Kris said as Jake nodded.
"And we also know that you are smart, way too smart to buy into the Huntsman's baloney. Even you have to admit that the Huntsclan aren't who they say they are." Jake said as Huntsgirl said nothing but stared at the ground quietly just as they heard a loud noise above them as everyone turned around to see Team Dragon flying straight towards them at high speeds, causing Rose to go over to grab her mask and Huntstaff as she turned to them.
"Fine, for now, we will have a small truce. We won't reveal who the other is unless someone reveals the other's Secret Identity. As for the whole Huntsclan being secretly evil? Well...I will think about it, and for what it's worth...it's been fun dating you, Jake, and Kris? You were a good friend." Huntsgirl says with a solemn tone while turning around to run away as Jake dropped down to his knees and lowered his head with tears in his eyes, and Kris began comforting him as we cue back to a running Rose, and we see tears trailing down her face as we then fast forward to the next day, early in the morning as we see everyone riding around on the bus to head back to New York City with the Long Twins sitting together as Shang-Chi and Danika sat behind them as Trixie and Spud sat in front of them as Professor Rotwood was nowhere in sight due to being too injured to continue being on the Ski Trip and was taken to a hospital as Brad looked to be incredibly sick.
"...I'm sorry, guys. I should have trusted you all along." An apologetic Jake says as Shang-Chi reaches over to pat him on the shoulder.
"Hey, don't even sweat it, dude."
"It's just that...what am I gonna do, guys?" A solemn Jake asked while glancing over at Rose, who was sitting way in the back of the bus and made sure not to look at them as she had a guilty and somber look in her eyes. "I'll never find another girl who I can relate to on an emotional and intellectual level the way I did with Rose, but after finding out that she's the Huntsgirl...I can't just forget that she tried to slay our pelts for the past five months, but I still...love her..."
"I know, but even I can't deny that she's perfect for you. She actually loves you, and you love her...maybe...maybe our words to her will have her change sides?" Kris asked as a hopeful Jake turned to her.
"You think so?"
"Maybe, but only time will tell. As of right now, I think it's best that we give each other some space to think stuff over." Kris says while reaching over to place her arm over Jake's shoulder and gave him a comforting hug as he seemed to appreciate this, and we cue back to Rose as we see her placing her head on her knees as she closed her eyes.
~[Flashback: Last Night]~
"Rough day, sis?" Becky asked while relaxing in her, Trixie, and Kris's Shared Room in the Ski Lodge as we see the Huntsgirl leaping through the window and landing inside as she panted heavily at what had just transpired before she removed her mask as her Twin Sister glanced over at her worriedly.
"He saved my life."
"What?" Becky asked, stepping up to her as Rose turned to her.
"The American Dragon saved my life," Rose said as Becky's eyes widened in total shock.
"Wait...he did?"
"Not only that but...I know what their Human Forms look like...they are Jake and Kris. I also have an inkling that the third American Dragon is Shang-Chi."
"Shut up! Really?" An excited Becky said as she went over to grab her twin's hands. "Then that means that the Huntsclan's ways are all bullshit!"
"Exactly! Dragons aren't monsters who really kill people for fun! Jake and the others saved me and were protecting Magical Creatures from us this whole time!" A stunned Rose says as Becky grabs her face and gives her a serious look.
"Rose, everything we knew is wrong. We have to betray the Huntsclan if we want to be on the right side."
"I agree," Rose said with a serious glare as she then sighed heavily. "But...I'm not sure if they will ever accept us after attacking them all for half a year."
"They saved your life multiple times, Sis, they will accept us, but...maybe for now, it's best that we wait until everything clears up before we reveal ourselves to them."
~[Flashback Over]~
"I really hope that they will accept us...and that the Huntsclan won't do anything dangerous to us when they find out about our Future Betrayal," Rose says to herself while glancing out the window to see the Huntsgirl poking her head down from the roof of the bus and gave her a reassuring thumbs up as she smiled softly and nodded as Team Dragon and the others continued driving through the snowy grounds to head straight back towards New York City.
And done. I hope that you guys enjoyed the chapter, and I can't wait to write the next one.
Anyway, as always, I will catch you all later.
