Ed, Double D, and a skeptical Mac wait outside of the Candy Store for Eddy, who is purchasing some jawbreakers with their money. Ed bows down at the jawbreakers.
"We will worship you, jawbreakers!" Ed said happily as he bows, "Because we love you!"
"Boy, you Eds really do love those jawbreakers so much, huh?!" Mac asked.
"Exactly, Mac!" Double D said, "A popular delicacy to us, along with all the kids here in Peach Creek!"
"We will slurp and slobber on you oh great jawbreakers!" Ed said while still bowing at the jawbreakers, "And you'll be staying in our mouths like blankets!"
Then Eddy bursts through the door with one jawbreaker already in his mouth and carrying three more jawbreakers in his arms.
"Alright boys!" Eddy cheered, "Lets chow down shall we!"
"I'm with you, Eddy!" Double D said.
"Jawbreaker!" Ed cheered as he laughed.
As Ed and Double D grab their own jawbreakers and eat them, Mac stands and watches, confused.
"Hey Mac boy!" Eddy called, "Have a jawbreaker with us!"
"Try it!" Double D said.
"It is so sweet and juicy!" Ed said, "Yum!"
"Actually, I can't!" Mac said, "My mom says I can't have anything high in sugar!"
Eddy turns to Ed.
"Ed!" Eddy asked, "Give him his reward!"
"Got it, Eddy!" Ed said.
Ed, carrying the jawbreaker, walks to Mac and picks Mac up like a toy.
"Ed, what are you doing?" Mac asked.
"Here comes the Cho Cho train!" Ed said while lifting the jawbreaker towards, "Cho Cho!"
"No, Ed!" Mac said, "Really, I can't-"
But it was too late as Ed shoves a lime green jawbreaker into Mac's mouth.
"You're welcome, Mac!" Ed said, while putting Mac down, "Cute little fella!"
"Well, Mac?" Double D asked.
"How do you like your jawbreaker?" Eddy asked.
Mac, with the jawbreaker in his mouth, gets up and begins tasting it. He begins to enjoy the giant candy.
"It's… It's…" Mac said calmly and happily while slurping and having the jawbreaker, "It's so good!"
"That's good my friend!" Eddy said happily.
"Glad you enjoy jawbreakers with us Mac!" Edd said.
"Yeah!" Ed said, "Jawbreaker good for Ed!"
The four boys managed to enjoy eating their jawbreakers that they'd purchased. Then, suddenly, the Eds see Mac having his eye pupils widened, his body shaking, and his smile got bigger.
"Mac?" Double D asked, nervously.
"What's with him?" Eddy wondered.
"Aww Mac loves his jawbreaker!" Ed said.
Then Mac starts to rush around fast, zigzagging and jumping around crazy across the street, knocking over things like streetlights and a fire hydrant. The Eds stare in shock of Mac's sugar rush.
"Oh dear!" Edd cried.
"Mac is happy with his jawbreaker guys!" Ed said.
"We have to do something about this, Eddy!" Double D yelled, "Mac's having the sugar rush!"
"Will deal with this after we finished our jawbreakers, Double D!" Eddy said.
Then some crashing sounds are heard.
"Oh no!" Ed cried, "Mac's a sugar zombie!"
"Eddy!" Double D cried, "We have to do something about his sugar rush!"
"Lighten up, Sockhead!" Eddy said, "Let's enjoy our jawbreakers first and that way he'll calm down!"
And so, the Eds continue slurping their jawbreakers while Mac, still with his jawbreaker, continues his crazy sugar rush.
By the time the Eds had finished with their jawbreakers, they began searching for Mac, with no success. They called in the lane for Mac, with no response.
"Mac!" Double D called, "Where are you!"
"Oh, Mac!" Ed called.
"Mac!" Eddy called, "Where'd you go!"
But there was no response.
"Huh!" Ed said, "Where'd he go, guys?"
Double D turns to Eddy.
"Eddy!" Double D scorned, "We should've just run after Mac during his sugar rush, instead of just standing out in the Candy Store and eating our jawbreakers!"
"What!" Eddy roared, "And we lose our jawbreakers during our search for that sugar crazed kid! He's getting over it, that's for sure!"
"Well," Double D roared back, "Mac's sugar rush from the jawbreaker you gave has caused chaos and damage and might cause destruction here in the Cul-de-sac!"
As the two Eds argue with each other, Ed sees the trees by the forest shaking.
"Hey guys!" Ed said, pointing out the commotion, "Look!"
Double D and Eddy ran to him and saw the trees and shrubs shaking.
"That's got to be Mac!" Eddy said, "Come on!"
The Eds run and follow the rustling forest across the lane. By the time they reach the end of the lane, they hear Jimmy screaming. They stopped and saw Jimmy wearing Artie's T-shirt running and screaming "Sarah! Help me!"
Then they saw Jonny carrying Plank with the green wig running past them and yell, "Run for the hills, Plank!"
"He must be at the playground!" Double D exclaimed and so the trio rushed out of the lane and headed to the playground.
Once the Eds reached the playground, they finally see Mac, still in his sugar rush, riding fast and crazy on the purple rooster spring rider. Eddy laughs.
"What an animal, huh!" Eddy said, amused.
"Aww!" Ed said, "Mac loves chickens like me!"
"Oh dear!" Double D said, "Mac's still in his sugar rush! We have to do something!"
"I got it!" Ed cheered.
"What's your idea, bean dip?" Eddy said.
Ed, as usual, picks Eddy like a toy.
"Hey!" Eddy cried, annoyed, "Put me down, you-"
But that was interrupted when Ed pulls out Eddy's tongue and loops it into a lasso. Double D becomes startled by this.
"Hang on Mac!" Ed called, as he lassos Eddy's tongue and catches on the sugar rushed Mac.
Ed then managed to drag Mac back to him and his friends, yet Mac is still hyper and crazy from his sugar craze.
"Mac!" Double D cried, "Control yourself!"
But Mac, still in his sugar rush, runs at a very fast speed, dragging his three new friends around the playground, while Ed manages to hold on to both Eddy and Edd. Eddy screams in pain as Mac pulls his tongue. Ed and Double D scream during the process.
"Whoa!" Eddy screamed while his tongue was dragged by Mac. "Mac! Sthob!"
"Ed!" Double D cried, "Do something!"
"Huh!" Ed said as he looks around and sees a merry-go-round before he grabs it.
"Got it!" Ed yelled.
But even as Ed holds on to the merry-go-round as he and his friends, the sugar rushed Mac continues dragging his new friends while running and jumping like crazy, spinning around the merry-go-round at a fast speed. This causes an act of centrifugal force on them. Ed continues holding on to the merry-go-round while carrying his three friends.
"ED!" Eddy yelled while having his tongue tied to Mac.
"DON'T LET GO!" Double D yelled, while Ed whimpers nervously while trying to hold on with one hand.
But the pressure from the fast spin was too great, Ed lets go of the merry-go-round, sending the four boys flying into the air, screaming. The screaming Eds and the sugar-crazed Mac flew over the playground, the lane, the cul-de-sac, the forest, and then, they all finally landed in a big crash.
Afterwards, the Eds got up and recovered. Ed giggles.
"Ouch!" Double D said.
"This was fun!" Ed laughed.
"WAY TO GO LUMMICKS!" Eddy screamed at Ed while grabbing by the shirt, "IF YOU HAVEN'T USED MY TONGUE AS A ROPE AND A MERRY-GO-ROUND, WE WOULDN'T END UP HERE, LOSING MAC!"
Double D looks around. He sees that they've landed in a kitchen. But who's kitchen, he wondered.
"Where are we?" Double D said, confused.
Eddy moaned impatiently.
"Never mind that, Double D!" Eddy said, "We got to go find where Mac is!"
So, the Eds went around the kitchen searching for Mac and calling him, without success, with Edd going through cabinets and Eddy looking in the trash can. Ed looks for Mac in a cookie jar.
"Mac?" Ed called in the cookie jar with nothing in it.
"That's too small for Mac, stupid!" Eddy said.
"Where could Mac be?" Double D said.
Then the Eds hear something behind. They turned and saw something in the refrigerator, bouncing and shaking inside. Once they rush in and open the fridge, they find Mac jumping and shaking after eating and drinking other sugar foods and beverages like soda, crazily. They quickly closed the fridge door before Mac could jump out and bounce around the kitchen, wreaking havoc.
"Oh dear!" Double D cried, "Now Mac's having more products and getting into the sugar rush again!"
Eddy burst into laughter.
"What an animal Mac really is, huh Ed?!" Eddy laughed.
"He is a feisty fellow!" Ed said happily.
"Alright!" Eddy said, "Let's keep him in there until he calms down, guys!"
While they hold the fridge closed, Double D discovers what the kitchen that they've landed belongs to.
"Oh my!" Double D said in horror.
"What Sockhead?" Eddy said.
"The kitchen!" Double D said in fright, "I think we've landed in the kitchen that belongs to the-"
This was cut short by a familiar voice that said, "Hiya boyfriends!"
The Eds turned and saw their three female arch-rivals and worst nightmares, the infamous Kanker sisters standing at the entrance between the kitchen and the living room, all staring at them menacingly (and lustfully).
"KANKERS!" The Eds screamed in horror as they discovered that they had accidentally landed in the kitchen of the Kankers' trailer in Park N' Flush.
"Our Saturday morning special we've been waiting for has premiered, girls!" Lee said.
"The three cute, little dreamy stooges, finally!" Marie said.
"Our lovely dovies!" May said.
"Oh mama!" Eddy cried in horror.
"Kankers! Bad for Ed!" Ed cried as the Kankers surround the Eds in the kitchen.
"Let's get ready for our favorite episode of home cooking, girls!" Lee said as she prepared to kiss Eddy.
"Hubba hubba!" Marie said as she got ready to smooch Edd.
"Let's kiss 'em!" May said as she prepared to kiss Ed.
The Eds scream in horror as they were about to have their romantic nightmare. But right before that moment, Ed sees the Kankers' refrigerator where the sugar-crazed Mac is still inside. Ed's facial expression changes from terrified to then bravely angry.
"Do not underestimate the power of," Ed yelled as he opens the refrigerator, "Sugar rush Mac!"
"NO ED! NO!" the other two Eds cried.
But it was too late as once Ed opens the refrigerator door, the sugar-rushed Mac bursts out in front of the kissing Kankers and attacks.
The trailer starts bouncing and shaking like crazy, with sounds of objects crashing and the Kankers screaming in terror.
"ED! YOU IDIOT!" Eddy screamed during the chaos.
"WHAT'VE YOU'VE DONE, ED!" Edd screamed.
Then suddenly, the sugar-crazed Mac with the Eds grabbing hold of his shirt and backpack bursts out of the trailer's door and runs around hyper and crazy while dragging the screaming Eds down to the forest, away from Park N' Flush.
Later after this chaos and narrowly escaping from the clutches of the Kanker sisters, the Eds and the sugar-rushed Mac end up in the junkyard and after such a struggle, the trio managed to control the latter by putting him in a central heating unit and wait until he calms down.
"The next time we buy jawbreakers for Mac," Double D scorned at Eddy, "buy mini jawbreakers instead!"
"What!" Eddy argued, "We didn't know it would happen!"
"Well," Double D exclaimed, "Don't you see what Mac was trying to say to us, but you and Ed didn't listen! Jawbreakers contained high amounts of sugar and that's what made Mac all hyper and crazed up!"
"Mac is a fun, crazy little sugar zombie!" Ed said while sitting at the heating unit's door where Mac is inside.
"Good thing, we got out Kanker free!" Eddy said, before turning to Double D, "How long will it take for Mac to calm down?"
"Well Eddy," Double D explained, "it would take an hour for Mac's sugar rush to wear off instantly!"
"Aww come on!" Eddy said annoyed and impatient, "What do we have to do for an hour? This stinks!"
"I think Mac's calm now!" Ed said, as he noticed that Mac isn't hyper and bouncy inside the heater.
"Let me see, Lumpy!" Eddy said as he and Edd rushed to the heater and opened.
"Oh dear!" Double D said.
The Eds see Mac lying down, resting and calm.
"OH NO!" Ed yelled, "MAC'S DEAD!"
"Ed!" Double D replied, "He's just unconscious!"
"Aww!" Ed said, "Mac's sleeping like a cute little baby!"
"Good thing he's not sugar-rushed!" Eddy said.
Then suddenly, Mac gets up.
"Oh no!" Ed cried, "Mac had turned into a zombie!"
"He's awake stupid!" Eddy said.
Mac comes out of the heater, feeling dizzy and tired.
"Where am I?" he asked, "What's going on?"
"You're in the junkyard Mac!" Eddy said.
"Well," Double D explained, "you see Mac! You went into a sugar rush from the jawbreaker and from a bottle of soda and other sugar products you had!"
"Oh no!" Mac said, concerned, "What happened? What did I do?"
"You were like crazy, Mac!" Eddy said, amused, "You were bouncing off the wall, zigzagging and flying!"
"You even saved us from the Kanker sisters!" Ed said.
"Really!" Mac said, "All I know is that you guys gave me a jawbreaker, which actually tasted good, but I told you! My mom forbids me to have anything high in sugar!"
During Mac's conversation with his new friends, the Eds notices something in his mouth: his tongue. Instead of being traditionally pink, Mac's tongue is lime green in color like Kevin's T-shirt and lighter than Eddy's. The Eds gasped at the sight of this.
"What?" Mas asked.
"Why Mac!" Double D said in amazement.
"Your tongue!" Eddy said.
"It is green like Eddy's!" Ed said, giggling.
"My tongue?" Mac asked.
"Well… yes, Mac!" Double D said as he pulls out a mirror, "Look!"
Mac takes the mirror and looks at his reflection. He sticks out his tongue and see's that it's light green in color. This frightens him and he shakes, saying, "I… I… I…"
"What his problem now?" Eddy asked.
"Maybe he's turning into a mutant!" Ed said, frightened.
"Shut up, Ed!" Eddy said, annoyed.
Mac continues his fright and shaking but then calms down and slowly stops his shaking.
"I…I…" Mac said, calming down.
"Are you ok, Mac?" Double D asked.
"Does Mac need to go to the bathroom?" Ed asked.
The 8-year-old boy continues calming down and then smiles.
"I feel…" he said happily and finally calm, "I feel good!"
The Eds cheered on how Mac felt.
"We knew that he would now, boys!" Eddy responds.
"So good!" Mac said, while smiling.
"Mac feels nice!" Double D said.
"Like sugar and spice!" Ed said happily.
"So nice!" Mac replied.
"So, Mac!" Eddy said while wrapping his arm, "How does it feel to be part of us, huh?!"
"Well," Mac said, "It feels great, but my name is not spelt with Ed!"
"It doesn't matter, Mac!" Double D said, patting him, "You can still be part of us or anyone here in Peach Creek!"
"Yeah!" Eddy said, "You can help us with our scams!"
"Or butter my toast!" Ed said.
"Either way, Eds!" Mac said, happily, "I'm definitely coming here to visit you every day, including after school at 3!"
The Eds cheered in response. Mac is happy that he now has true friends to hang out with, trust them, and doesn't have to worry about being bullied, mistreated, and humiliated for the rest of his life. Mac rushes to Edd and gives him a hug.
"Aww, Mac!" Double D said before hugging Mac back in response.
"I love Mac!" Ed said as he gives his three friends, including Mac, a big hug as a group, "Good for Ed!"
"Ok, Ed!" Eddy said while shoving him to stop his big hug, "Enough!"
"I'm Ed!" he said, once he stopped hugging.
"Let's celebrate!" Eddy said as he and three friends ran throughout the junkyard.
They entered an abandoned retro van that's purple in color with orange flame decals running down it as well as a painted rear axle and a teardrop-shaped side window. One of the front wheels had a flattened tire, while the back had no tire. The right headlight got seriously cracked and the left antenna got bent and crooked.
"Wow!" Mac said, staring at the retro van, "You guys hang out in there?"
"We sure do!" Double D said.
"Our perfect hangout!" Eddy said.
"It's our favorite spot!" Ed said.
"Last one in is a rotten egg!" Eddy said as he ran to the retro van, while Ed followed, laughing.
"Coming Mac?" Double D asked as he followed.
"Sure thing, Double D!" Mac said as he joined the trio.
Once the Eds head into the abandoned van, opening the back of the ruined vehicle and running through the dark orange tarp, Mac walks in and opens the tarp, viewing the inside of the van. He sees that behind the two driver and passenger seats are orange shag carpeting, stereo speakers, walls made from mock wood, and a huge purple waterbed with orange pillows. The seats were warned out and cracked, while cobwebs cover the speakers, and the orange carpeting has mushrooms sprout out. Ed and Double D is already relaxing in the waterbed, while Eddy is in the driver's seat.
"Wow!" Mac says as he looks around the interior, "This is so cool!"
"Yeah!" Ed said while chilling in the waterbed, "It is so jiggly!"
"Come join with us, Mac!" Double D said, while in the waterbed.
"Yeah, Mac!" Eddy said, "Welcome to Central Command!"
Mac rushes in, takes off his backpack, and hops in the waterbed with Ed and Double D.
"Whoa!" Mac said as he relaxes and feels the van's waterbed, "Wow! I've never been in a waterbed before, Eddy!"
"Well kid!" Eddy said, "Today's your lucky day! Now you don't have to be end up having an embarrassing surprise party by those chumps from Foster's Home for Phonies every year?!"
"Yep!" Mac replied, "I've never been so happy in my life, and I won't have to worry about that anymore now that I have you guys as my friends!"
"Yep!" Double D said, petting Mac's head, "We're glad to be your friend Mac!"
"Mac's the best!" Ed cheered, as he shakes and causes the waterbed to juggle up and down, causing Double D and Mac to bounce around and have fun, giggling.
Eddy then honks the horn of the retro van, playing the "La Cucaracha".
Back in the Cul-de-sac, late in the afternoon, as the sinks towards the horizon, Nazz picks up her camera and prepares to take a picture of the Eds and Mac standing by a fire hydrant.
"Ok dudes!" She said to them, "Say cheese!"
"Cheese!" Eddy, Double D, and Mac said.
"Gravy!" Ed said during the photoshoot.
Back in his apartment bedroom at night, Mac, in his pajamas, puts in the picture of him and the Eds in a frame of what used to be where a picture of the imaginary friend that kickstarted the disaster on him two days ago, Bloo was in. He then places the framed picture of himself and the Eds on his nightstand before he falls asleep happily.
After two days since his humiliation and left him in a devastating state of PTSD and emotional scarring, Mac has finally been happy and felt better that he has new friends in the form of three boys that all shared the same name and the rest of the Cul-de-sac in Peach Creek as a replacement to everyone in Foster's (and Goo). This, along with destroying Madame Foster's costume that started the terrible trend to avenge his mistreatment, meant that he would never be anxious and scared of being at the receiving end of another embarrassing surprise party by Bloo and everyone and mistreated and tormented. He will always visit and remain at Peach Creek and avoid Foster's everyday to teach them a lesson of being always one step ahead of him and calling him a party animal. He is now happy that he made new friends while leaving behind the troubles he had had two days ago and started a whole new adventure with the Eds and the rest of the kids in Peach Creek.
Nothing gets any Edder!
So, the next series of chapters that represented the middle of this story features the various adventures in Peach Creek with the Eds and other kids in Cul-de-sac that I've been thinking about, including:
-Pie-eating contest scam.
-Dealing with Mayonnaise the dog who hired Sarah as an attorney.
-The Eds and Mac trying to get honey from beehive for a scam.
-The Eds and Mac doing a Pinocchio play.
-Robot Rebel Ranch.
-The Eds trying to bust Mac out of detention.
-Duchess causing trouble to the Cul-de-sac after leaving Foster's.
-The Eds and Mac going on a fish trip for a scam.
-Mac having a crush on Nazz.
-Sarah having a crush on Mac, much to Jimmy's dismay.
-The Eds and Mac traveling across prehistory.
-The Eds and Mac going camping.
-The Eds and Mac compete with Terrence in a soup box derby race.
-Mac joining the Urban Rangers.
-The Eds and Mac compete with Terrence in battleship in the swim hole while dressed as pirates.
Etc.
For the climax and ending, I won't give it out now, but I am going to mention about it in two characters: Eddy's brother and Frankie Foster!
