ALERT: REWRITE INCOMING. This has been put out because I don't want you to have absolutely nothing. I screwed up royally and now nobody has any incentive to do the things I need them to. So I'm going back and changing some things. like quite a few things.

Qrow saunters over to the edge, peering over the door at the falling Samus. "Hey Ice Princess-"

"Not hearing it."

"What do you think her landing strategy's gonna be?"

"..."

"Damn. It doesn't look like she even has one."

".. what?"

"No seriously, look!" Qrow urges with no small amount of amusement. "She- Oh damn!"

"What! What happened?! is she okay!?"

Qrow bursts out into laughter. "Oh no, she's fine. That griffon she pancaked sure isn't!"

Weiss stares on in shock. "You're j- Is she mad?"

Samus is currently taking a short rest right now. She says rest, but it's really just standing around and making sure nothing happens in the nearly vacant safe zone. And she says short, but she's been at it for about two hours. Still, compared to what she was doing before, this is probably as close as she's willing to get. She spent what, 3 hours helping the Search and Rescue teams? Using her Pulse Radar to find people: conscious, incapacitated, trapped, terrorists. She didn't look for them herself; she directed the search teams to the former three, and herself and other 'Huntsmen' took care of the terrorists and Grimm, keeping them and the survivors safe. Though oddly enough, after the first hour, the only threat left was Grimm. The terrorists stopped showing up surprisingly quickly, though. What, an hour and forty minutes? Probably the fastest city-wide terrorist invasion she's ever heard of.

She'd never say it Infront of all these civilians, but... things turned out pretty damn well. A good chunk of trapped civilians were still alive when the rescue teams arrived. Really, things could have- should have been- a lot worse.

...

God, her back really aches and itches right now. Stated sometime after that fight on the tower. No clue what's causing it, but it's an annoyingly familiar feeling. On top of that, she'll need to loose her armor to find out for sure. And with nothing to do but stand around, it's getting incredibly distracting, but checking it out right now won't make it go away. She'll just sit with her -actually quite sound- assumption for now, especially since it doesn't raise anything aside from some minor annoyance. Of course once things settle down she'll have to check it- actually, she'll have to get someone to check it out for her because she can't quite turn her head 180 degrees.

. Reasons for Rewrite:

So. right now, nobody knows about Samus except for Ozpin. But he's dead, so who's going to trust Samus? not Ironwood or Glynda. At least not enough to let her hang around the main cast.
She also needs a Huntsman liscence to do things like go off on adventures to hunt Grimm. Oops she doesn't have those. Who can grant them? Ironwood and Glynda. who have no reason to.
And Samus can just go home and not have to deal with the after math. She already helped with the city. She has no reason to think there's a deeper conspiracy behind it, so why stay? The portal is still working and all that.
So I need to rewrite a few things to have stuff make sense.
As I said. I did an oopsie, and now I need to fix it.

Incoming changes I expect to make: Samus gets there at least a day before the fall. spends the night, watches people fight. has an all-around good time. Also meets Ozpin's circle. (bam one issue solved.) also sets up a bit of development for Qrow.

Instead of the "misfortune" scan that makes even less sense, I'm going to have Qrow be out of Aura.
