Chapter 1838 Bookworm Crush

Leonidas was at the library checking the books there and he was wondering. Then he saw a girl sitting on a table reading a book, she has brown hair tied up in a bun, she wears glasses and long green sweater.
Leonidas looks at her with interest and decides to talk to her. He walks over to her.
"Excuse me miss." He said.
"Oh, hello." She was a little nervous.
"I am Leonidas Yuki. What's your name?" He asks.
"Oh my name is Ione."
"Nice to meet you." Leondias said.
"Are you new around here?" She asked.
"Yes. Me and my friends are staying in town for a while." Leonidas said.
"I see, not many guys want to talk to me." She said.
"Why not? You're pretty attractive." Leonidas said making her blush.
"Well my uncle says girls like me don't attract others."
Leonidas frowns.
"He is just being a jerk." Leonidas said.
"No no no, he's just overprotective. That's all." She said.
"I see. So what book are you reading?" He asks.
"It's about poetry, it's something I enjoy." She said.
"Poetry eh? Who is your favorite Poet?" Leonidas asks.
Before she could answer the Assistant Dean Martin Abrahamson came.
"Ione! There you are. I've been looking all over for you. Make sure to come by the house early tomorrow. We're having the new Chancellor and his wife over for dinner, and I plan on opening that bottle of cognac my grandmother brought back from Paris after the war. I can count on that color and that subtle aroma to win me that promotion to the Dean's chair! Ha ha yes! My time is tonight! What the..." He saw Leonidas. "Wait aren't you Leonidas Yuki?"
"Yes I am." Leonidas said.
"I see, i've heard great things from you." He said. "What are you doing with my niece?"
"Talking as I was curious about what she was reading." Leonidas said before getting a idea. "You know I am quite a good cook. If you want I can come over and help with the dinner."
"Thank you but I already prepared something tonight. I have an important dinner to plan. Ione, make sure you dress as attractive as is
possible due to our photographer from the school paper will be there to capture my facial expressions as I open the liquor cabinet!" He said.
"Of course uncle." She said and he leaves.
"I can help with that." Leonidas said to Ione. "If you want me to help."
"You would help me?" She said.
"Of course." Leonidas nods.
She smiles. "Okay, but the only place I know is my Room."
"I see. I can call a female friend if you're not ok with me being in your room with you alone." Leonidas said.
"i share a room in the dorms."
He understood.
Later
Leonidas came to the room with Ione and they saw Yui waiting at the door.
"Ione this is my friend Yui. Yui this is Ione." Leonidas said.
Ione got surprised since she's very pretty.
"Nice to meet you." Yui smiles.
They went inside and saw the other side of the room was filthy.
"Ew." Yui frowns.
"Roommate's mess?" Leonidas asks. Ione nods.
Yui starts to do make up on her. "Okay a little dark and a little blush."
Leonidas inspects Ione's hair.
"Hmm could use a different shampoo and conditioner. Ones better for the hair." Leonidas said.
"I thank you both for this." Ione said.
"We are doing it to make you happy." Leonidas said and she blushes.
They helped her become pretty and Leonidas goes out for a bit.
"Hey what is Leonidas like?" Ione asked.
"Oh, smart and can be nice. Kinda arrogant thinking he's the smartest but he's a good guy." Yui said.
Ione smiles. "Say, could he be interested."
"Well his type seems to be smart, unusual and unique girl." Yui said.
Ione got happy since she's smart. Maybe she and Leonidas can be together.
With Kazuo
He was at Funtime Town since his friends were all busy in another world.
He wanted to come but they told him it wouldn't be good for his own age.
"Well they're all busy and i'm here."
He then saw a spirit move around and he got curious so he goes after it.
He stops near a lake and sees a blonde girl around his age wearing a blue dress.
"Hello."
She looks at him and smiles. "Hello my name is Maria."
"Maria?" He said. "I'm Kazuo."
"You have a wonderful town." She said.
"Thank you. So why are you here?" He asked.
"I don't know, but from my death I remember a soldier shooting and his eyes. They weren't normal the white was black and the red eyes." She still remembers that day.
He sits next to her and holds her hand. She was surprised but smiles being able to hold someone elses hand since it felt nice.
She only had one friend in her life and Kazuo seems very nice.
He helps her and wants to make Maria happy like everyone in the town.
