Hey guys! So I know I took a really long time to update last time… almost two months long time… but in my defense college takes up most of my time so I didn't really get the opportunity to write as well as the fact that I had really bad writers block.

ALSO

I didn't post review replies with the last chapter, so I'm posting replies from last chapter here and at the end of this chapter I will post replies for the last chapter — if that makes sense?

Ok guys you're wonderful :)

REVIEW REPLIESSSS!

MamaMia101: Thanks! I really appreciate that :) And yes, we are going to be checking in with them more, in the last chapter and in this one!

TheWeasleyTwins3: that's such a huge compliment to receive; thank you so much! I hope you continue loving the story!

Laura: Thank you! I try my best to avoid errors, but I don't proof reading before I post (I get too excited to get it posted!) but I do usually reread my chapters and then edit them and repost them later so, if you do see some errors bear with me!

Harry groaned as he sat on the stone floor, his arm still throbbing. Carefully, trying his best not to move it in fear of another surge of pain, Harry use his good hand to reach into his pocket and pull out a piece of parchment.

"Here Harry," Remus had handed the parchment as well as Mr. Potter's potion book to him when everyone else had already left for breakfast. "I used that potion's book from James's house, I think that I may have figured out how to combine the two potions. Be careful though."

Harry unfolded the parchment gingerly and in the dim glow of light from the fireplace he scanned the page for the next instructions.

Bring to a boil, wait until the potion turns purple — immediately after using a freezing charm. The potion should now be thick and white with a pearly sheen. If it is any other color do not use.

Remus had double underlined the last section.

Slowly, Harry pulled himself off the ground, wincing as his arm stung. He peered over the cauldron and felt his heart leap — the potion was a perfect pearly white. Harry cheered quietly under his breath as he summoned a silver spoon and stirred it carefully. The mixture was thick like sludge, just like Remus had said it would be.

Harry pulled the parchment back out.

If the potion is white, it needs to be quickly transferred into a glass jar with a cooling charm on it. It cannot come in contact with heat until it is used.

"Accio jars!" Harry called, and two large glass jars whizzed across the room from their cupboard and landed in front of him. Using the spoon, Harry ladled out as much of the potion as he could into the jars. He had hoped to fill four or five jars worth, but because he had tipped over the cauldron he had lost half of it on the floor. The potion that had spilled was now a dark purple, as it hadn't been cooled correctly, and therefore was unusable even if he scraped it up.

Once Harry had filled the jars and cast a cooling charm on them, he carefully shuffled across the room, levitating the jars in front of him as he held his left arm steadily. Once back inside the cupboard, Harry cast another cooling charm on the cupboard to be extra safe.

"There," Harry said to himself with a nod as he stepped back to admire his hard work. The silver potion, though thick and heavy appeared quite light and airy and it moved inside the jar. It slipped and tumbled over itself in perpetual slow motion.

Theoretically, according to Remus's instructions at least, Harry had modified the original potion that could be used to speed up boring tasks to include ingredients to lengthen the time travelled as well as to be compatible with floo powder. Harry continued to stare at the potion. He may have just created his solution to get home.

Harry finally looked down at his left arm with a sigh. His entire lower arm was blistered and red, though Harry was thankful that it was just a burn from the metal rather than a burn from coming in contact with the potion — who knows what kind of awful effect it could have had. But now he had to figure out what to do next. He couldn't go straight to the hospital wing with a burn like this, that would bring up too many questions as it was a Sunday evening and he couldn't even use an excuse like he had been hurt in Potions class.

"Remus," Harry muttered, as he summoned his books back into his bag and levitated his potions equipment into the cupboards. He was the only person Harry could go to.

Harry carefully put his robes back on over his uniform, slowly lowering his left arm into the sleeve, trying his best not to scrape it against the fabric. Quietly, Harry left the Room of Requirement and returned to the Gryffindor Common Room. It wasn't quite curfew yet, but most students had returned to their dorms by now. Harry was grateful for the empty hallways so he didn't have to try and hide his injured arm as much.

"Venomous Tentacula," Harry breathed heavily as he spoke the password and climbed through the portrait hole.

"Harry!" Lily said cheerfully from the crimson settee by the fireplace.

"Oh er, hello," Harry said, trying to make his stance appear more natural.

"How has your evening been? I didn't see you at dinner." Lily said curiously.

"Oh, yeah, had to work on, you know, a paper." Harry said casually.

"What's wrong with your arm?" Lily asked, standing up and moving across the room. Harry took a few steps back.

"Nothing." He responded indignantly. Lily frowned and suddenly reached out and placed her hand on his left arm. Harry winced loudly and jumped backwards as he doubled over in pain.

"Oh my god, Harry, show me your arm," Lily said, taking out her wand. "Show me your arm!"

Harry tentatively held out his arm and allowed her to carefully peel back his sleeve.

"What — Harry, we have to go to the hospital wing now — "

"No, it's getting late, I don't want to go now."

Lily scoffed.

"You don't have much a choice, what did you do? It looks like you — "

"Burned it, yeah. It's fine, it's really nothing."

"This is not nothing, Harry." Lily said sternly, continuing to examine the blistered wound. "Let's go."

"No, Lily, I can't."

"Why not?"

Harry paused as they both stared at each other.

"I-I can't tell you."

Lily crossed her arms with a frown.

"Have you been doing something against the rules?"

"No. I don't know, maybe." Harry sighed. "I just can't go to the hospital wing, Lily. I need Remus."

"Remus is already in the hospital wing, he wasn't feeling well." Lily said.

'Of course,' Harry inwardly groaned. 'It's full moon.'

"Well, I'll just wait until tomorrow then, it'll probably be better in the morning — "

"Don't be ridiculous." Lily sighed. "Wait here."

Harry sunk into a chair by the window as Lily rushed up the girls' staircase. Soon after, she came back down, this time carrying a small vile in her hand. She unscrewed it and carefully took Harry's arm in her hand.

"What is that?" Harry asked, as she slowly dripped the brown liquid onto his burn.

"Essence of Dittany," Lily responded as she worked. "I've been saving it for some time now, Slughorn gave it to me as a prize for brewing some potion correctly last year."

Harry watched as fresh skin grew over the blisters and sores, the redness quickly disappearing.

"It's still going to hurt for a while," Lily said as she screwed the bottle closed again. "But it will definitely continue to help, let me know if it doesn't get better and maybe we can try adding some more."

"Thanks Lily, it already feels so much better." Harry said grinning as his skin continued to rapidly heal.

"Don't think you've gotten off the hook though, Williams." Lily said narrowing her eyes. "I helped you because you were obviously not going to go see a proper mediwitch, but I still expect you to tell me what you've been up to. It's clearly dangerous. And if Remus knows and is allowing it, then I'm even more concerned because it's probably not some silly prank."

Harry looked down with a deep sigh. Lily's face softened.

"Really, Harry, I just care about you, I don't want you to do something stupid." She reached into her robes and pulled out some medical tape and bandages.

"My parents insist I keep a first aid kit with me at school," Lily laughed at Harry's bewildered look. "They think that a school of magic would be dangerous."

They were silent for sometime as Lily bandaged his arm. When she finished, she collected her materials and put them back in her robes.

"Well, I'm going to head back up and go to bed."

"Thanks Lily," Harry said earnestly. "Really, thank you. And…"

Harry paused for a second as he stared back into her emerald green eyes.

"…I'll tell you what happened soon."

Lily nodded with a small smile before ascending the steps to her dorm room.

"GINNY!" Ron shouted, as he struggled against the black cloaked figures.

"OH MY GOODNESS!" A female called from behind him, causing him to suddenly twist around. "Moody, let them go, let them go!"

"Mum?" Ginny cried, her voice cracking.

"Stand back, Molly, they might be in disguise," the hooded man in the center of the crowd shouted.

"Let them go, Ginny! Ron!" Mrs. Weasley cried, lowering her hood and wrapping her arms around her children as she sobbed.

"These could be Death Eaters…No account for safety…" Moody growled as he too lowered his hood and began mumbling spells that would reveal any disguises.

"Mum, have you found Harry?" Ginny asked her voice wavering.

"No, dear, no," Mrs. Weasley said, tears leaking down her face as she held her children even closer. "You have no idea, no idea how worried I was about you."

"Where's Hermione?" Remus said, his wand still raised.

"Over there," Ron said pointing up the rocky bank. "Hermione! It's safe!"

Hermione slowly stepped over the boundaries of her protective field and approached the group. Mrs. Weasley tried to step towards her, but Hermione immediately stopped and took a few steps backwards.

"What was the gift I gave you for Christmas two years ago?" Hermione asked, raising her wand towards Mrs. Weasley.

"A… A scarf, dear." Mrs. Weasley said, trying to calm herself down. "An instant drying scarf you had knitted yourself."

"And you got me a sweater with and H and matching mittens," Hermione said quietly, lowering her wand and entering into Mrs. Weasley's warm embrace.

"See, at least she used some precaution," Moody muttered. "C'mon, we have to go, we're sitting ducks out here."

He pulled from his robes an old chipped teacup.

"Everyone grab on," he said gruffly. The party shuffled closer together, all placing a finger on the old china.

"1, 2, 3—"

And with a gust of wind, the group vanished.
