"Think about the wonders you can see with your new ability." Blitzo continued reassuring the human boy. "The way you swooped on one of Stolas' lunches with lightning speed. Pretty cool, wasn't it?"

"Yeah." Cody admitted. "That was pretty sick." he remembered how lightning-fast he was swooping that dead rat in his hands, even though he regretted liking eating it.

Suddenly, the transformed kid heard his adopted sister's voice from another room. "Cody! Misty's here!" this made his new falcon heart drop and his face grew pale. He did not want Misty to see him like this. He was worried that his hellhound girlfriend will guffaw and laugh at him at this unwilling form. After all, falcons are not as strong as their larger hawk or eagle cousins. Panicking, Cody hovered over to his bed and hid under the covers so that she wouldn't have to see him like this. "Come on, kiddo. You can't hide under the covers forever." Blitzo sighed

"Not forever." Cody pointed. "Just until Misty leaves. She'll probably think i'm pathetic as a falcon."

"Cody, you're being silly." Blitzo laid on the bed next to him. "Misty loves you. If she did make fun of you, i would have fucking kicked her stinky ass out of here a long time ago. Or I would have just shot her in the brain."

"Blitzo!" Cody scolded him.

"Oh i'm just shitting with you on that one. Smile." But Cody did not smile at all, and just gave Blitzo an unamused look on his face

As he hid his face under the covers again, he heard his bedroom door open up. "Cody?" Loona said. "Where are you?"

"I'm coming out!" Cody pouted.

"What's wrong?" said Misty. "did another one of your family members die?"

"Ok, that was a little insensitive." Loona narrowed her eyes at Cody's girlfriend.

"Sorry."

"No." Cody said. "no one died. Andrelaphus transformed me into a falcon, and you're gonna make fun of me when i show you this form."

Misty had a confused look on her face. "Why would I make fun of you?"

"because you're a demon and i'm a human, and demons are... a little meaner than humans. No offense to you Loona, Blitzo."

"None taken." said Loona. "But come on, just get out of the covers."

Cody sighed and slowly got his blanket off of himself to reveal to his hellhound girlfriend what he incidentally wished himself into. "Hi." Cody made a sheepish smile to her. At first, Misty was astonished and made a gasp at seeing her own boyfriend like this. Her eyes grew sparkling with hearts and her hands came under her chin. "Oh... my... Satan!" she shrieked as she ran up to Cody to hug him like her own stuffed animal. "Cody, you look sooooo cute."

"Agh! Misty! You're... hack! Squeezing my lungs!"

"Sorry." Misty smirked. "I know you looked cute before, but this? Look at how your face looks!"

"I'm not cute!" Cody said in protest. "I'm handsome. Grr, why does everything think i'm cute?"

"Hey hey hey, don't take it that way." said Loona. "They're compliments not insults. Just because Millie hugged you or Misty hugged you like that or called you cute, doesn't mean we are belittling you."

"But, it looks like you are treating me like a baby." Cody huddled himself in shame. "And i'm not a baby!"

"Cody, we've been over this." Loona reminded him. "We know you're a big boy and just because many people, particularly girls, find you cute, doesn't mean they are treating you like a baby."

"Well Verosika and her friends did when they first met me."

"Yes but, that was a long time ago." Said the female hellhound. "And she was petty snd selfish. Honestly, if you ask me, any guy would be lucky to be called cute by her."

"Yeah Cody. Lighten up." Misty crossed her arms. "Everyone in the world can see you're a big boy."

"Look, i just wish more people can take me seriously. That's all i'm saying. I didn't chose to turn into a falcon, Andrealphus forced it on me while i was sleeping last night."

"Right. Stolas is working on an antidote to turn him back to normal." Blitzo said to Misty. "Though, there's no telling how fucking long it will take, so Cody's just gotta wait."

"Yeah. I... shouldn't have wished that i could fly." The kid looked sheepish. "I've been told be careful what i wish for, and i understand why."

"Look Cody you still look c- i mean cool."

"No it's ok Misty." The human boy reassured his girlfriend. "Not that i'm not happy to see you, but, what are you doing here?"

"I came here to show you this awesome new game i found!" She pulled out a game box with the title on the cover spelling: "Wolf Boy 3 Paradise Lost".

"Wow, that's so cool!"

"Right?" Misty agreed with him. "I was gonna olay this with you but... you're a falcon right now and, probably came at a bad time."

"No it's fine. I was worried that you would think i look pathetic as a falcon."

"Pathetic? Come on, Cody. You're my boyfriend. I wouldn't think any less of you." Then she hugged his feathery body again, but in a more gentle hug this time."

"Look, why don't we see how good you can fly as a falcon? Andrealphus still granted your wish."

"Heh. True. Since we don't know when the antidote will be ready, maybe i can work with this." A smile appeared on his face as he was staring at his new wings.

On Earth, and in their human disguises, the demons were in a wide-open area on the outskirts of his hometown to watch Cody try out his little wish.

Misty was in her human disguise too and exciting to see how Cody can fly.

Perching on Loona's right hand, it looked like the female hellhound was in pain. The reason why was because of the sharp talons that were poking Loona's fur like a bunch of needles

"Sorry if this hurts, Loona." Cody said.

"Don't worry. I've suffered worse." Loona grunted. "Now come on, show us what you can do."

Silent for a moment, the boy took a breath and said. "ok. Here goes." Then he looked at his closest demon cohorts. "One if you guys will catch me if i fall, right."

"Of course we will." Moxxie said.

looking at the sky and taking a small breath, Cody began flapping his wings and found himself hovering about a few feet from the ground, smiling at how well he was doing

"nice job, kiddo." Loona smiled.

"Try not to fly too close to the sun." Blitzo said

"Or you'll fry into fried falcon."

"noted." Cody looked uncomfortable about that statement. Nevertheless, the kid began flying higher and higher until he was at the height of a two-story house. It was an incredible feeling for him to experience and he realized this was going ti he better and better for him real soon.

The next thing he did was soar around in a circle, around hjs friends. "You're doing good, Cody!" Tex encouraged him.

"use your improved eyesight to see what you couldn't see before!" said Moxxie.

Using his new keen eyesight, Cody saw many things on the ground, including three gopher holes clumped together, and a nearby ant hill in the grass.

He could see many things in the far distance like some of his school friends hanging out in a oark five miles from where he and the gang are. If his friends found out and saw Cody doing this, they would be extremely jealous right now.

Smiling wider, Cody was feeling his worries go away in an instant
