"So did you kill him?" William asked.
" I killed the run for you," Pit Bonnie said.
" To think that the developers ran out of ideas to include a time-traveling bulb pet of all things" William scoffed. When did this franchise go from a horror game to a fantasy or sci-fi genre?
" Well, the others are getting quite impatient," pit Bonnie said.
" Ah yes they want to meet him don't they" William smirked.
" Yes, they're all bitching and complaining about the fact that the animatronics are all spending time with him" pit Bonnie explained.
" Yes, well Matthew is a busy guy" William lied.
" That's just a bunch of bullshit and you know it" pit Bonnie called him out.
" Don't you guys want revenge though?" William asked.
" Revenge yes, but not against Matthew but the people who created us" pit Bonnie growled.
" Well, good luck with that. No one's been able to figure out how to get revenge on our creators" William said.
" Our creator is Scott Cawthon though," Pit Bonnie said confused.
" Not for you, at least for the game version of you. Mega cat studios created you" William explained.
" What do you mean the game version of me?" Pit Bonnie asked.
" Well into the Pit was first a short story in the fazbear fright series. Then a video game is made about the book and that's where you were created" William explained.
" So where is this mega cat studio" Pit Bonnie asked.
"Well, according to the website, they're in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania" William pointed out.
" That's a whole city. It doesn't narrow anything down" pit Bonnie said angrily.
" That's exactly my point," Williams said exasperated. For some reason, they just couldn't pin down the location of the game developer. Whether it be a company or just one person. It's like the code or something was protecting them or him. So they had to settle for the next best thing and that was exactly their revenge on the game code. Now was it the game's fault? No, it wasn't and they knew that but they had a simmering anger inside of them. One that wouldn't go away until they had their revenge.
That is where William came in, He too sought revenge. The game turned him into a serial killer for no reason other than it was an entertaining plotline. The fact that he was forced to do this otherwise he would have been erased and another willing would have taken his place. That pissed him off and he was going to get his revenge. And this time there were no dead kids to put him into a spring lock suit to stop him. For this was the real world and there was no such thing as paranormal activity or ghosts or anything like that.
However, it seems that their activity has caught the attention of the news. Are scared. Wondering what the heck is going on and who is responsible for this. Now he has no intentions of revealing either himself or the entities working with him. Cuz he can already imagine the fallout from such a reveal. The aftermath is not something he would want to imagine. What would happen? How would people respond to such a revelation? The fact that video game characters are to be brought to life and enter the real world.
Now couple that with the fact that the entities that he's working with are very impatient. Yes, they hate the fact that they have been created and enforced to slaughter people. To do so, just so other people can be entertained. However, their anger isn't as pronounced as he thought it would be. They all just want to see one person, and that one person is Matthew. But the problem is, they don't know how to reach him. The only reason that they can jump between games is because of the arcade machines.
The machine that brought them to life first started with all the characters from the FNAF games. And then proceeded to bring the others to life but with a catch. Since the FNAF characters were first, they were immediately brought to life with physical bodies and consciousness. But for the other characters from the other franchises it took longer. While they do have physical bodies, they still don't have the full power to jump between games on their own.
But you see that's one thing that the animatronics haven't figured out yet. You don't need to enter Matthews home to then enter another game. They can fully jump team games without entering the real world. But for the other characters and the other franchises, their powers are not at their full potential. It takes quite a while for the machine to fully bring them to life. And so while this process is going on can't meet Matthew.
It's like the code or something is trying to delay the process. Perhaps there's some underlying fear or consciousness that thinks they will try to bring harm to him. Not that any of them would ever dare do so. If anyone even let a finger on him, they would slaughter that person. So while they are waiting for their powers to fully awaken, they decide to follow William.
Why? Because he offered them a chance to get revenge on kids who've watched them suffer just so they can be entertained. Well, at least that's what he thought. He never exactly asked him why they decided to work with him. But he did know that their patience won't last so long. At some point, they would want to meet with Matthew.
Meanwhile
At Police headquarters, our friendly detective was that a lossful word. This time it was a game developer that was killed. Actually, to be fair, this was a recurring trend. These deaths were now shifting toward those who actively worked in game development in some way, shape, or form. It could be indie devs or even those that work with AAA companies. But one thing was for certain whoever was responsible had a bone to pick with game developers.
Why was the big question? What happened to this person that made them want to start slaughtering game developers for some reason? What was the motive? That was the one thing that they didn't have a motive. Psychologists could only offer hypotheses as to why. What made this even more head of head-scratcher was the fact that characters coming out of screens.
It wasn't just any character either, it wasn't a man in a costume or anything like that. It's like something! Paranormal or supernatural was responsible. Now that would never hold up in the court of law, but they didn't have any other explanation. Something was happening. Something that wasn't normal but whatever that something was was a mystery.
How are they going to figure this out was the big question. Cuz honestly at this point, they had nothing to go on. No leads. No evidence of any kind whatsoever. Not even a single DNA sample could have been found at the crime scenes. Quite frankly they were at a loss for words. People are also getting quite anxious for the police to come up with something. But to be honest you know the police didn't have anything at all to go off of. So in the end this was just a cold case. While the police and other authority figures could not figure out what was going on. Back at Matthew's home, it was time for rotation.
" So can my character see through the window" Springtrap asked.
" roll of perception," Matthew says. Springtrap grabs the dice and rolls.
" Crap" Springtrap muttered as he got one on the dice roll. Looking at the dice, Matthew shakes his head.
" No, you can't see through the windows. It is so fogged up that you can barely make anything out at all" Matthew says.
" All right so can I sneakily enter the warehouse through the roof," Phantom Mangle asks.
" Roll for stealth" Matthew replies.
" Could one of you roll for me considering my lack of hands?" Phantom Mangle says sheepishly.
" Here let me do it for you," The puppet said grabbing the dice and rolling it only for it to land on a 19.
" Mother fucker why is it that this shithead always gets the fucking numbers to roll his or her way" Springtrap seathed.
" Perhaps because you're just so shit at rolling dice" phantom mangle teased.
" Listen you walking scrap yard" Springtrap almost yelled.
" Why did you call me" Phantom Mangle yelled back.
" Yeah you heard me" Springtrap replied.
" Listen springtrap are you sure that you should be talking smack when you have as many holes as Swiss cheese" Matthew asked.
" What do you mean by holes" springtrap applied.
" I mean that when the springtrap suit went off it poked you full of holes. That's why you were bleeding right? And because it's a spring-locked suit, you should have had a shit ton of holes to puncture into your body" Matthew explained.
" Ha swiss cheese. I like that that's going to be a new nickname" Phantom Mangle smiled.
" You call me that and I will break you into pieces" Springtrap cracked his knuckles.
" Listen, serial killer. I don't care if you killed a bunch of kids, fruit loops, captain crunch, or freaking cookie crisp. I will kick your ass down to hell again. Phantom Mangle wasn't phased by Springtrap at all.
" All right, that's enough" The puppet placated both groups.
" Yeah just listen to the skinny ass over here" phantom mangle muttered.
" Listen here you mutt. I am very tempted to put you down like you were full of rabies" The puppet said to phantom Mangle's face. Meanwhile, while while this was happening, Matthew decided to go read the news on the internet.
" So how about them murders" Matthew asked. This got everyone's attention, as they knew what he was talking about.
" Yeah seems very suspicious to me" phantom Freddy piped in.
"Aye, it seems mighty suspicious to me as well." Phantom Foxy added his two cents as well.
" The fact that they have no idea who did it seems very odd," Phantom Chica said.
" That's not odd in and of itself" Matthew replied.
" Nah, but to me it seems like they're hiding something," phantom Freddy said.
" Well I suppose you could be right" Matthew sighed wondering what the heck was going on out in the world right now.
" Well I'll tell you one thing this has everyone scared," John said from the couch next to the table that they were playing on. And soon the discussion devolved into theories and speculation as the night wore on. All of them were unaware of what was happening. Cuz as you know ignorance is bliss.
