Notes: Yep... once again 1 month since an update. not like i planned this. work was supposed to slow down two weeks ago, instead the construction projects we had got delayed and took up so much time. either way, got through it and here we go. after those two huge chapters, hope to get you all to the twists soon. Enjoy!

Two days had passed since the attack on the UA classes in the mountains. The outcome was beyond devastating for the school, forcing the facility to close its doors while the damage was assessed. Twenty eight students were either injured or unconscious, and of those several were considered critical. One of the pro heroes were also severely injured, while another one had gone missing. Beyond that however, the fact that two students had been taken by the villains.

It was something the news was not shy on sharing to the country.

"It's been two days and the faculty of UA have still refused to give us answers to the status of what is happening. They have two students taken by villains and have not given a single update to what they plan on doing next." one of the newscasters said on the television.

"It really brings in question their security at this point. Not only have they had one, but two attacks on their school this year?" her co-host commented. "It really peaks my curiosity of the story you ran with of their mysterious student two months ago."

"That is true. it seems more than just a coincidence that the moment they have this student show up, they-

Principle Nezu shut the TV off and set the remote onto the table, sighing as he turned back to the group in front of himself. Other than Aizawa and Vlad King, the other teachers sat in silence as they stared at the small principle. "This is certainly not the situation any of us could have expected." Nezu quietly said out loud.

"This is horrible. We have multiple injured students, not including two that have been kidnapped by the villains." Cementoss added.

Nezu nodded to his colleague. "Indeed. The villains must have seen his aggressive behavior at the festival and taken note of that. His lack of restraint against Yaoyorozu or the fact he tried attacking after the match in the finals were definitely things people did not miss."

Midnight leaned on her hands as she sighed out loud. "Bakugo has always been a hot tempered kid. But why would they take Tokoyami as well?"

"From what we were told by the other students, the villains believe his sinister looking quirk would match their ideals after seeing how powerful it was. They most likely wish to try and convert them both to join their side. If that happens… it would be the end of UA as we know it."

Grunting, Snipe rubbed the back of his head. "There hasn't been any ransom demands made by the league, so that must be the reason. Why go through all the effort to capture students alive if you aren't negotiating for anything?"

"There is something I need to say, and I am sure all of you are thinking it as well…" Present Mic looked up to the others, his normally grinning face hard and angry. "… there's a traitor here at this school."

While the others eyes widened at his words, Mic sat up in frustration. "Only the teachers and the Pussycats knew where the camp was taking place, and yet the villains somehow know where to find them. Who knows, maybe a student even tipped the league off and-

"Are you suggesting what the news is trying to imply?" Cementoss questioned, "The fact they are already trying to put the blame on a student is maddening."

"And why is that too crazy?" Mic clenched his fist as he stood up. "Is it because she isn't from this world?"

The table was in silence to his outburst, but not in shock. Both Midnight and Snipe took deep breaths as they turned to the principle sitting quietly before closing his eyes. "That… and that I trust Katara."

As news of the attack began spreading through Japan, several news outlets leaped at the idea if the attacks were connected to the young waterbender. Some people began questioning the fact how this mysterious girl, one who already had a run in with the number two hero, was at this school when villains suddenly began attacking. To remove any doubt from the other teachers minds, Nezu chose to tell those the truth at this point to show she had nothing to do with these attacks. While they were all very skeptical of this news, the fact that Snipe, Midnight and Aizawa all backed up the claim certainly made it hard to deny.

Although Mic was not taking the news well.

"It's hard to take that you never told us Aizawa's student was some inter dimensional girl. Almost as if you don't trust us." Mic snapped out.

"If you are still upset about what I told you all, I do apologize. I was keeping the information on her limited to lower the risk of it getting out. If you haven't noticed, they are already looking for a scapegoat to put the blame onto. If they found out she actually isn't even from our world, they would want her brought in and locked away, to experiment on her how she has powers but no quirk." Nezu clasped his paws together and leaned forward. "People judge and react before they know who others really are. They would immediately target her as someone different, who doesn't belong. I won't let that happen to one of my students."

"But we were supposed to be kept in the dark on this?" Mic growled out, "We have information of our campus being leaked out, and you are keeping secrets from us?"

"You should watch what you say…" Snipe warned the angry teacher, "If we start pointing fingers and throwing accusations around, we will destroy ourselves from the inside."

Mic clenched his fist in frustration as he stood there, grinding his teeth in anger as he stormed out of the room and shoved the door open. "Mic, wait! We can't-

"Let him go, Thirteen…" Nezu calmly told the space hero. "He needs some time to himself."

"But…" Thirteen watched as the door closed behind the exiting teacher, confused to his anger. "I get his confusion to this whole situation, but he seems to be taking it the wrong way."

Nezu looked down to the table in pity, knowing the voice hero's reason for his temper. "While he may be upset, he does have a point to what he said about the villains knowledge of our actions. And I already have an idea how to counter that problem."

Sitting quietly at the end of the table, Toshinori held his head in frustration to the entire situation. Firstly he was filled with guilt, furious he wasn't there to help protect the students from harm. After hearing Midoriya's injuries, he couldn't help but feel responsible for it all, since the villains attacking the school in the first place were all because of him. While he was surprised to learn this secret of Katara, he knew both he and Midoriya had no right to judge about secrets.

"The fact some people are already pointing fingers at her is both wrong and dangerous. Even after everything she did to help fight stop the villains, some still accuse her. Unless we can convince the public she is innocent, many will be calling for her to be brought in." Toshinori stated, looking up to Midnight in concern. "Has she said anything yet?"

the black haired woman slowly shook her head. "No… the doctors say she still hasn't woken up from surgery yet."

Gritting his teeth, Toshinori clenched his fists in anger. "She almost died protecting the others… damn those villains." he looked up from his spot as he stared at the wall in fury, imagining his masters killer standing there. The horrific man pulling the strings behind the league, the one responsible for his students being targeted. He would make sure those villains got what was coming to them very soon.

Stomping through the school hallway, Present Mic couldn't get rid of the sickening feeling in his stomach as he walked. He didn't want to snap the way he did, but he couldn't help it. All his frustration was bubbling and he didn't know why. Or… he thought he didn't until he saw Aizawa standing there staring at him.

"Yamada…" Aizawa quietly whispered as his friend stood in front of him. "… We need to talk."

Glaring, Hizashi Yamada shoved his hands in his pockets and continued walking forward. "What is there to say? Nezu already told me your little class secret."

"And I can tell you've been pissed," Aizawa grunted out as the yellow haired teacher walked by. "If you're going to be mad at my student, I'd suggest you don't. She had no control over-

"Aizawa…" Yamada growled out, taking a deep breath to keep himself from yelling out. He wasn't angry at Katara's truth itself, no. While he hadn't interacted with the young girl much, he had seen she was a really respectful teen and never felt anything suspicious from her. Her secret wasn't the problem.

"I am not so sure on this whole situation with your student. It still seems strange and confusing, but that isn't what I am mad about…" Yamada turned around, his eyes filled not only with anger, but of pain. "What I don't understand is why you decided to keep something like this from me."

Aizawa frowned to himself and rubbed his head. "It's not like I wanted to. If things like this got out, it could be dangerous for her."

"And you didn't think if other teachers were to find out, I shouldn't be one of them? Is it that you don't trust me? After our promise we made with Shirakumo?"

Aizawa felt a twinge in his chest from the words he heard, immediately thinking back to he and Yamada back in school, along with their good friend. "That is something entirely different. I was concerned for my students safety and if word of it got out."

"And I would have been there to help you if you needed it. Watch each other's backs, remember?" Yamada glared as he continued down the hall, leaving who he thought was his closest friend there. "If you don't trust me with something like that, then…"

sighing, Yamada held his tongue and walked away. Aizawa watched in silence as his childhood friend walked off, leaning against the wall and running his hand through his hair in frustration to everything that has happened. "Shit…"

At a hospital nearby where the camp was located, the students of class A and B were all being treated for their injuries. Due to the safety of what has going on, none of their families were allowed to come and visit, leaving many enraged parents contacting the school every hour demanding to be let in, especially when hearing how hurt some of their kids were.

Deep inside the hospital, Momo slowly walked down the hallway as she carried a glass of water. She wore a set of hospital robes anf her hair was loose and hanging free over her tired face, barely able to rest recently. Her bandaged side still ached, but that isn't what bothered her now. No, what bothered her was the certain room she was making her way towards as she pushed the door open, her heart aching when she saw a certain teen in the hospital bed.

Izuku was laying there out cold, both of his arms wrapped in thick bandages along with his forehead covered as well. After the villains had escaped and the heroes finally arrived, his body finally gave out from the overwhelming pain and the emotional strain. Even after he was healed, he still hadn't woken up since they got here, much like her other friends room she had just come from. After she had been treated, Momo rotated between this room and the other to see if he or Katara had awakened. Even as the others went in and out checking on them, she couldn't just leave him, unable to shake the worry from her chest.

"Izuku…" She painfully whispered out as she sat on the chair next to him. Her mind kept replaying that night over and over again, remembering how helpless she felt with everything happening. She couldn't stop from her good friend from almost being killed, and she was left helpless as the boy she cared for was horribly injured protecting her. The tightness in her chest built as she stared at the floor, clenching her eyes shut to try and rid those terrible visions, but it only made the blood she witnessed stronger.

"Ugh…"

The sudden groan in front of Momo snapped her out of her thoughts, her own eyes shooting open to see her crush's eyes drifting open themselves. "I-Izuku…" the shock was so much she let the glass slip from her hand and shatter on the ground, running straight forward and throwing herself onto his body. "Izuku!"

The green haired teen gasped in shock from the sudden weight pressing down onto his body, his eyes trying to focus still before hearing the familiar voice reach his ears. Even the sharp pain in his arms wasn't the reason his heart rate jumped, looking down to see the mess of black hair strewn across his chest. When she looked up at him, the tears in her eyes didn't take away from the beauty he always saw, feeling his mouth tremble in happiness seeing she was okay. "M-Momo…"

Not needing another moment, his injured arms reached up and pulled her close, burying his face into her shoulder as he refused to let her go. She gave no resistance to the embrace, slipping her own arms underneath him and pulling his own body into her own. "Oh my god, I was so worried about you! You have been out for so long!" She cried into his ear, sniffling as she buried her face into his shoulder.

Izuku felt his heart race in his chest from the terrified tone in her voice, breathing hard from both how close she was but from feeling her trembling on top of him. He inhaled deeply and squeezed the cloth on her back and held tight, not wanting to let this feeling leave him. "Momo… Are you okay? I saw so much blood and…"

Momo's breath quickened as she felt him tighten his grip, smiling softly feeling him embrace her in concern. "I'm okay. I'm so happy to see you are fine." She sat up and wiped the few tears from her face. "I was worried you got really hurt."

Sitting there in silence, Izuku slowly opened his eyes as he actually looked around the room for the first time, realizing where he was. Immediately, his mind shot back to the events from that night, remembering the villains, and the sight of what happened. He let his grip slid off her as he stared up at her. "What happened? Did… Did Aizawa sensei get there in time?"

Before she could answer, the door to the room suddenly opened as Kaminari peaked his head in. "Hey, I heard something break. Did- Woah!" he gasped when he saw Midoriya awake. "Hey guys! He woke up!"

Both Momo and Izuku turned around as the door burst open behind them, watching as their classmates poured into the room. "Deku!" Uraraka called yelled out in happiness as she pushed her way to the front. "Oh my gosh, we were all worried!"

"We weren't sure when you were getting up. This has been too much to take." Shoji huffed out in relief.

"You scare the shit out of us, Midoriya! Why can't we just have a normal day?!" Mineta cried out in annoyance.

"Guys…" Izuku gave a small smile seeing everyone coming inside the room. Shoji, Mina, Sero. He then saw Kirishima besides them, his face covered in several bandages. "Kirishima, You're okay."

Kirishima smiled back and nodded. "Yeah, all thanks to you, man. We've been waiting for you two to get up."

Izuku's smile fell when he heard those last few words, his eyes quickly scanning the room to see who was there. He realized several others were missing from the crowd, his mind suddenly remembering the events before he passed out. He remembered the dark mist forming from that villains warp quirk, the cold feeling as he watched not one, but two of his friends pulled through the darkness. He felt his heart twist inside, the guilt of being unable to reach them both in time, and the helplessness of seeing them needing to be saved… only for himself to not be there.

'Tokoyami… Kachaan…' He cried internally, knowing how he was unable to save them as he laid there injured… just like his friend Kirishima mentioned. "K-Katara… where is she?" he croaked out, his breath quickening when he saw the concerned look on Momo's face. "What happened? She's…?"

Most of the class remained silent as they were worried as well, Mina clutching her chest in worry. "She is still out, too. She was hurt pretty bad."

"What?" Izuku gasped out as he sat up. Wincing at the pain but pushing through it despite the resistance from Momo.

"Izuku stop! You need to rest!" She pleaded as she tried pushing against his chest, only for him to grunt and push through.

"I have to make sure she's okay. She was so hurt!" Izuku gritted through his teeth and stood up, his eyes filled in pain and worry. "I have to go to her. Where is she?"

Further inside the hospital, Tenya rubbed his tired eyes as he exited the bathroom and walked back to the same recovery room he had been staying in the entire time. He had barely gotten any sleep the last two nights as his worry was far too much to let him fully rest. "I should have been out there. I should have made it in time." he scolded himself as he approached the door and opened it. When he did, he couldn't help his heart skipping a beat in his chest every time he saw the site before him.

Katara laid still in the tan bed, her forehead wrapped in thick bandages and gauges. Her injured shoulder was padded in thick compression wraps, the cloth slightly red from the small traces of blood still leaking through her wound. Several IV tubes ran from her arms to the bags hanging beside her bedside, the machines giving a constant beep every second as her heartbeat remained steady. Even though she was alive, Tenya couldn't help but clench his fists in frustration seeing her like this, but remained silent as he looked over to the other in the room.

'He still hasn't left...' he said to himself as he stared at the other teen beside Katara.

Shoto was sleeping propped up in a chair with his head against the wall, his left arm wrapped in bandages as well. He didn't even want to be treated however, more concerned the aid was given to Katara before himself. Tenya remembered watching him pace outside the surgery center, unable to sit still even as one of the nurses wanted to check on his injuries. The moment it was announced that she was out of danger and sent to the recovery room, he along with many others were with Tenya to be there for her. Once she was stable but still out, the others all went to get their own rest in the rooms provided for them. Tenya chose however to stay here with her.

And so did Shoto.

Tenya sat quiet as he stared at Shoto sitting there, the teen rubbing his thumbs together nervously. It was so odd for Tenya to see him in this state, so used to the Todoroki prodigy being so calm and yet so serious all the time. Now, it appeared he was just as worried as he was for Katara's condition, unable to leave the room for much before coming back to be by her side. While he knew they had become much closer since the festival, Tenya was still surprised to see him willing to sit here as dedicated as himself. Almost like he…

Tenya's mind began spinning in shock when he realized what was going on, looking back and forth between the two of them. "Wait… she has been calling him Shoto recently." He whispered out as he clutched his chin. For some reason, he felt a small sense of concern as he imagined Katara possibly liking someone. Before he could think anymore, he felt his stomach growl causing him to frown. "Perhaps I can get some food and then discuss with Todoroki what is going on."

Huffing out, Tenya turned and walked back out of the room to head to the kitchen. As the door closed, Shoto's eyes shifted open from the noise. Shaking his head clear, he yawned for a moment before he turned towards the door, curious to who had just left. As he turned to his right however, his heart sank once more as he saw Katara was still unconscious in the bed next to him. The sight was only getting worse every time he saw her, gritting his teeth in frustration to how any of this had happened at the camp.

"I should have been there to help her…" Shoto growled at himself, clenching his fist as he stared at her sleeping form. "I let this happen."

Looking down, his eyes found their way to her open hand laying on top of the blanket. Acting on instinct, his own hand reached out and grabbed hers, his heart jumping as he embraced it. After a few seconds though, he felt his chest tighten in frustration as she didn't return the action. "They will pay for what they did to you." He hissed through his teeth, remembering the nomu carrying her limp body into the clearing as the other villains tried to attack them.

"So long, Shoto. I'll be seeing you and your little girlfriend again."

The cold voice of Dabi rang inside of Shoto's head, his words sending a chill down his spine as they played over and over. Whoever he was, he was dead set on wanting to capture Katara, almost as if there was something personal. Not only that, but the way he was calling him by name, as if he knew him personally. But worst of all, he exhaled in anger remembering as he watched Katara held in his grasp, the villains flames only inches from burning her face right there.

"Whoever he is, I won't let him hurt you again. I promise you that. I will be there to keep you safe, Katara." he quietly said out loud, squeezing her hand tighter, looking up to see her closed eyes. He could only wish her blue eyes would open once again, to see her awake to know she was okay.

Katara's mind felt like it was spinning, her head in a daze as she sat there. To her surprise her body itself felt light, as if she was floating in a cool pool of water. She reached to rub her eyes, the soft feeling of her hands almost soothing as they made contact with her face. She rubbed a few moments before she opened her eyes, expecting to find herself on the ground where she last remembered. When she did, however, she found herself in a place she had never seen before.

"Wh-what?"

Looking around, Katara appeared to be in what looked like an endless plain of blue. Bright glowing light danced across the sky, or what she thought was the sky, for she couldn't tell where the sky ended and the ground began. "What is this?"

She couldn't tell if this was a dream or not, the same feeling she had been feeling recently flowing over her body. She looked down to her hands, squeezing them as she tried to tell if this was real or not. She spun around trying to see anything to understand what was going on, but then she noticed a strange glowing light approaching.

"Huh?" She said out loud as the yellow glow came closer, noticing a hidden figure inside the light floating her way. At first she was cautious to what it was, but as it neared she could tell it was some kind of person. The mysterious figure was quite tall, easily over two meters tall and could see long robes draped over their body. She couldn't see their face however through the bright light, shielding her eyes a the figure hovered her way. "H-hello?" She asked, hoping to get some answers to what was going on.

Instead of answering, the figure remained silent, standing still before it appeared to suddenly back away. "Wait, stop! Where am I?" She called out, reaching out to try and grab them. As she did, she noticed the energy of this place shifting by, realizing now she was actually the one being pulled away. "No! Who are you?!"

The being didn't answer, standing there as she was pulled further away, the light fading away around her as she was now surrounded by darkness.

Shoto's eyes shot open in shock when he felt movement in his hand, looking down to see Katara's fingers encircling his palm. His breath caught in his throat as his heart skipped a beat from the feeling, looking up to see her eyes fluttering open. "K-Katara…"

Groaning out, Katara's eyes took several seconds to focus, adjusting to the light in the room as she took in everything. To her surprise she wasn't in the forest anymore, seeing the white ceiling above her and the light fixtures overhead. Before she could move her hand to rub her face, she felt her fingers closed over something, and whatever it was, it was holding her as well. She shifted her gaze down to her left, her eyes widening when she saw another hand on top of her own, her cheeks warming in surprise to waking like that. She shifted her gaze upwards as she followed arm up to see who it was, feeling her heart jump when she saw who it was. "Shoto?"

Shoto couldn't keep the smile that formed on his face hearing her speak, relief washing over himself as he nodded. "Yeah, I'm here."

Katara sat in silence as he stared at her, the deep stare he gave her causing her stomach to flutter. What got to her though was the look of concern etched into his face, shifting in her bed to face him. As she did though, the wound on her shoulder shot up with pain causing her to gasp out. Shoto immediately sat stood up in worry and helped her up, grabbing her other shoulder and lifting her upright. "Careful, you are still injured."

Wincing out, Katara sat up and rubbed her head through the bandages. Her right hand then went up and lightly squeezed her injured shoulder, having to fight back the pain she felt from the area. Her mind felt so confused to what was happening, not remembering how she got here or what happened in the end. Suddenly, she remembered the strange pain she felt in her mind, still so confused to what that was. Her eyes then shot open when she remembered who she was with and their injuries as well. "Y-Yaoyorozu, Kendo…. What happened? Are they okay?"

"They are fine, don't worry." Shoto answered, frowning when he saw she was trying to get up. "You should rest. After what happened, it's better-

"I'm okay. I want to see how they are." She responded, but was caught off guard as his hand pushed back on her good shoulder. "Shoto, I'm okay, I-

"No you aren't. You need to rest."

Grunting, Katara was about to push by him, but stopped when she saw the wraps over his left arm. "What happened to your arm?"

Shoto's mind went back to that night, remembering Dabi's face grinning at him as he was completely overpowered. The feeling he had watching Katara laying there on the ground, unable to keep her from being hurt. "I was too weak. I wasn't there to keep you from getting hurt."

The cracking of his voice and the grip tightening on her shoulder made Katara's heart jump, seeing the torment etched onto his face.

"When they attacked us, I was worried since I knew you were out in the forest as well. As soon as I saw you, I…" Shoto's jaw shook in frustration, "There was so much blood around you. I tried to get to you, but I could do nothing. I was helpless to stop them from grabbing you. I said I would help you for helping me, and I was useless. If Iida hadn't shown up, I..."

Shoto's eyes clenched in anger and fear, imagining the worst possible outcome. "I couldn't stop them. If they took you, I… I may never have seen you again."

Katara's heart beat hard inside her chest at those final words, realizing just how close she was to being taken or killed. For Shoto to have seen that and be unable to stop it… She knew exactly how that felt all too well. She now realized how he got hurt, seeing the guilt running over his heart for not being strong enough to stop these villains. She reached out and placed a hand on his left cheek, the soft touch surprising him as his eyes opened up. He didn't move however as her hand sat there, her thumb rubbing over the burned skin beneath his eye making his heart beat rapidly.

"There's nothing to be sorry about, Shoto. And I'm glad you're okay, too." She quietly said, only for her hand to be grasped by his left hand while his right reached up and cupped her own cheek. He didn't even think about it when he moved, wanting to comfort her to make sure she was okay. When he realized what he was doing though, his eyes widened in shock but was unable to pull away.

Both of them sat in silence as they stayed frozen in place, her face immediately burned up from his warm touch. Katara had forgotten all about her injuries as she stared up into his dual colored eyes, almost entranced by his gaze. The same was for Shoto, unable to look away from the deep blue of her own eyes. Worry and concern had fallen away as they sat holding one another, both hearts burning from their faces being so close to each other. Before she could even think, Katara's body seemed to move on it's own, inching itself closer towards his face to close the distance. Shoto noticed the movement as well, not realizing he was moving closer as well.

Both of them felt lost in the moment, wanting to close the space separating themselves from the other. Katara's breath caught in her throat, her eyes closing as she felt his warm breath brushing against her lips. They were only inches away from-

"Patience! All of you need to wait!"

Both Katara and Shoto snapped back in shock to the sudden loud voice outside the room, their faces burning red as they quickly separated just as the door burst open. Trying to block the wave of students was Tenya, the flustered teen chopping his arm erratically to calm the others.

"All of you, Katara is still resting! You all need to have patience before charging in after Midoriya and-

Tenya's words faultered when he had turned around to see Katara sitting up in the bed, his heart doing back flips in relief seeing she was finally up. "KATARA!"

Before she could say anything, Katara was shocked as he burst across the room and immediately pulled her into a hug. The sudden movement was a mix of surprise and pain, her shoulder aching slightly from jerking forward. The strong and comforting embrace of Tenya though overpowered that feeling as he held her close, his breath coming in deep gasps of relief. "My god, I was so worried! Are you alright?!" he yelled out.

As they pulled apart, Katara smiled and nodded at him. "I am alright, Tenya. Thank you."

"You can't be doing this to me! Mother, father and Tensei have been calling me constantly worried about how you were doing!" he exclaimed in concern. "And once Midoriya woke, he was adamant to come and see your condition along with everyone."

"What?" Katara looked over his shoulder to see Izuku standing there with Momo, the former of them wrapped in thick bandages over his arms. While she was worried, the smile on both of their faces was enough to tell her they were doing much better. Sighing in relief seeing Momo had been okay, Katara relaxed slightly. "I'm glad to see you're doing good."

"I mean, good is a stretch." Momo joked earning a laugh from Izuku.

"Y-yeah. I could be a bit better." he chuckled. "I had to come make sure you were okay."

"What about you, girl? You've had us all worried sick!" Mina growled out in annoyance.

"Yeah, it's been pretty stressful waiting." Tsu chimed in from the side. "You got pretty beat up."

"It's been crazy these last few days! I don't think I could have handled it anymore!" Toru yelled out.

The last statement made Katara's mouth drop in surprise. "Wait, how long was I out?"

"Almost two days, actually."

All the students turned to see two newcomers walking in as well, Katara's eyes widening in both surprise and relief. Coming into the room was Kendo, a thick patch on her cheek as well as her hand wrapped in bandages. Next to her was Setsuna, both of them bringing another sense of comfort. "I was just going to ask how you were doing." Katara said towards the orange haired teen.

"Could be worse, so can't complain. If you weren't there, it could have been pretty bad." Kendo explained. While she was courteous, the green haired girl next to her stood there smirking with her arms crossed.

"So the water girl finally woke, huh? Was tempted about dumping some water on you to see if that helped so I could thank you properly." Setsuna joked out, earning a sarcastic eye roll from Katara.

"Who knows, that may have felt pretty good." Katara retorted, making Setsuna laugh out.

"How about we keep it dry and just say "glad to see you're up."" Kendo offered, smiling as she stretched her side. "It's been crazy with everything going on since it all went down. Everyone knocked out by that gas is still out, though."

The tension in the room rose once more, the concern for their friends still riding high. From what she saw, Katara knew more class B students got caught in that stuff than her own class since they were in the forest already, meaning most of her class was probably still unconscious. "I'm… I'm sorry."

Kendo gave a nod in return. "They're strong. They will all be fine."

"Hell yeah, none of that crap is gonna take our friends down." Sero announced with a thumbs up.

"You tell em, tapes." Setsuna chuckled as she grabbed the back of her head. "Not even that crap on the news."

"News?" Izuku looked over in confusion. "What about the news?"

Setsuna's smile faded as she saw the confused look on not only his but a few of the others. "Wait… you mean you…?"

"Are you referring to the school safety? Of course that's all over the news." Ojiro chimed in.

"No…" Shoji quietly answered from the side. "She's referring to the stuff mentioned on Katara."

Almost all of the eyes in the room shifted towards the shocked waterbender, her heart beating fast once more. "What… what about me?"

Sighing, Shoji stepped forward towards the front. "It's about you… and some questioning if you had something to do with these attacks."

The air in the room suddenly felt thin for Katara, her breath sucking in quick in shock from what she just heard. "Th-they… they what?" She hissed out.

"Most people are saying it's too crazy, but a few news casters tried connecting your involvement with Endeavor and these attacks to possibly being a villain."

"What?!" Izuku yelled out in disbelief. "How could they say that?! She was almost killed!"

"Of course it's all bullshit! You think she planned all this?!" Mina snapped out.

Katara could not believe what she was hearing; back when she heard there was a rumor spreading about her at the school, she was afraid it could have been beyond UA. And now she saw she was right. She looked over as Shoto's fist clenched in anger, he of course refusing to believe anything like that. She shifted her gaze to the others standing there, all of them staring right back at her. "And… none of you believe it?" she asked.

"Of course not! You think we would ever fall for something so ridiculous?!" Tenya yelled out.

Momo shook her head as well. "We would never believe that. You have done nothing but help all of us."

"Yeah, you're too cool to be some evil villain." Uraraka nodded in agreement with the others. "We will be there to help back you up!"

"So will we," Kendo stepped forward as well with Setsuna. "We told the others in the class what you did, and we will all be there to help back you up as well."

"Yeah, even Monoma couldn't argue with what you did back there." Setsuna laughed, "That dude was blowing smoke out of his ears trying to think of anything negative. Don't you worry, anyone try and ask us about that story, I'll be telling them to shove it up their ass."

Katara sat there in amazement to everyone, unable to hold back a smile to seeing them all willing to help back her up. "I… I can't Thank you all enough."

Kendo simply smiled in return. "I should be the one thanking you for what you did for us."

As the two class B students turned and walked out, Katara sat back in her bed and sighed out. "I can't believe all this is happening. At least it seems like we are all fine."

The eerie silence that fell over the room immediately stood out to the waterbender, her nerves on end from the sudden change in atmosphere. She glanced around the room to try and understand what was wrong, but when she did, she realized a certain friend of hers wasn't present in the room. "Where's Tokoyami?" she asked, only receiving a hiss in frustration from several of her classmates.

"He's…" Tsu clutched her hands in worry as she looked to the ground. "The villains took him."

Katara's heart felt like it stopped beating right there, her eyes shooting open in shock as she sat back up. "What?! What do you mean?"

"They took him. They took him and…" Izuku's mouth shook in frustration having to think of it more. "They took him and Kachaan. The villains captured them in the mountains."

Everything felt like it became still at that moment for Katara, her hand reaching up and feeling the bandages on her head. She couldn't believe it; one of her good friends and another classmate were taken while she was knocked out. She was unable to try and help them. Instead, she was the one who needed to be rescued. Some kind of hero she was supposed to be. As they all sat in silence, Kirishima looked around to see the frustrated face of Midoriya and the shocked look of Katara. If there was a time to say it, now was the time for it.

"They came and took Tokoyami from us. They grabbed Bakugo, my best friend. I was unable to stop them either, but I want to do something about it."

Everyone in the room looked to the red head in confusion to what he was saying. "What do you mean?" Sero asked.

Clenching his fist, Kirishima looked ahead with a burning passion in his eyes. "I'm going to go and get them back."

"What? Are you talking about? How?"

"I'm saying we do exactly what those villains did to us. Catch them by surprise and grab them both."

"Kirishima, this is absurd!" Tenya exclaimed as he chopped in anger. "You can't possibly put yourself in harms way! We need to wait for the pros to handle this!"

"And what, sit here and hope they can do it fast enough?!" Kirishima's fist shook in rage. "I had to be saved by Midoriya from that muscle freak, and because of that, he got really hurt and couldn't move well. If I hadn't have been so useless, maybe… he wouldn't have been so injured and could have saved him! Maybe I wouldn't have been so hurt and could've helped fight! But I'm going to change that! I won't sit by and be useless anymore!"

"But this is crazy! It's too dangerous!" Uraraka pleaded. "You have no idea where to look!"

Kirishima took a breath to calm himself, turning to look right at Momo. "I overheard you yesterday. All Might came and talked to you here, and you told him how you had put a tracker in that nomu that attacked us."

"What?" Izuku said in shock, turning to the girl next to him to see her face unchanged, meaning it was the truth.

"I'm asking you to make another device to track that thing down like you gave him, so we can go and get him tonight. I can't sit by and let the heroes take too long." Kirishima explained, turning his gaze to Izuku right there. "I know how you feel, Midoriya. You want to get him back, too. This is our chance to do it. Together we can get in there and save both of them."

Momo however glared at the idea, her hand reaching over and gripping Izuku's shoulder. "Izuku just woke up and is still hurt. You can't be asking him to do something so crazy."

"I know it's crazy, but…" Kirishima fought back the tears that wanted to fall, clenching his eyes closed in anger. "I need your guy's help. I can't just wait and see what will happen. I need to go and try to save them."

Tsu knew the risk of doing this, breaking the rules of the schools feeling so wrong. But… the fact Tokoyami had been taken as well kept her mouth quiet, only hoping he was okay. While she knew it wasn't what should be done, she partially wanted them to some

"Kirishima, this is too dangerous." Tenya scolded him and stepped forward. "These villains are far too dangerous for us to just waltz in and steal Bakugo and Tokoyami back. Midoriya and Katara have just woke up, and Jiro is still out. It's insane to ask either of them to be put into harms way again, or any of us for that matter."

As the tension began growing once more, the doctor suddenly appeared through the doorway behind the crowd. "Excuse me, but you kids cannot be crowding in here. You have to keep visiting group sizes down. And I need…" He paused as he read the clipboard in his hand, "… Midoriya to see me in his room."

Silently, some of the other students slowly began making their way out of the room past the doctor. As the group shrank, Kirishima gave one last look towards the students around the bed. "I'll be outside the hospital this evening. Whoever wishes to come, meet me there after dusk." he stated before turning and walking out with the others.

Izuku stood there in silence, taking what he was told before quietly leaving as well. Momo rubbed her arm as she followed him out of the room, the doctor turning back to the trio of Katara, Tenya and Shoto. "Before I go, I wish to give you an update to your conditions."

As the room finally cleared, the elder man walked forward and adjusted his glasses. "So, Todoroki. Fortunately, the burns on your arm were not too severe. You should be able to remove the bandages now if you prefer, just make sure you keep the skin moisturized." He then shifted his gaze to the girl in the bed. "And it's good to see you're up now. How are you feeling?"

"I'm… I'm alright." Katara quietly answered, her mind still reeling from what she had just learned from the others.

"Alright is not the word I would use. Truly lucky is what I would go with," The doctor exhaled as he flipped his page. "The wound in shoulder was very severe, but it somehow just missed going right through the bones there. Even more so, it just missed your brachial artery by only a few millimeters. If that had happened, well… you probably would only have lasted a few minutes."

Katara's heart hammered in her chest hearing that, her hand going up and gripping the wound next to her neck. "So, I…"

"You'll be sore, but as long as you rest, you should be fine pretty soon. I've been by contacted the school and today they are going to be allowing you all to go home actually. So by this evening you can be back in your own bed, so try and rest, okay?"

"Thank you doctor, we really appreciate the help." Tenya gave a bow towards the senior as the man left, sighing to himself hearing the news. "That was amazing to hear. You shall make a full recovery very soon, Katara! I need to update mother and the others on your condition!"

The excited speedster ran towards the door and pulled his phone out, immediately calling his family as he walked outside for privacy. As the room fell silent once more, the only thing heard now was the beeping from the monitor besides Katara. Shoto stared at the ground for several moments before he could breathe, relieved to hear she wasn't going to be permanently injured from her wound. As he looked up to her though, he could tell that was not what was on her mind.

Katara's eyes remained unfocused towards the door, too lost in thoughts as she spaced out. To hear her shoulder was going to be fine was good, but she couldn't think of herself now. All that ran inside her head was the fact she had a friend missing and she wasn't able to try and help him. He got taken and she wasn't able to even help him then. Even Bakugo, someone she didn't really care for, was in trouble, and she couldn't just let him stay in danger. She was beyond sitting by as others needed help, a promise she had made to herself before and did not want to break. She didn't even have to speak for Shoto to understand that determined look on her face, the same one she had when she faced him during the sports festival.

He turned and stared at the ground himself, clenching his fists together. "You're wanting to go with him, aren't you?"

Reaching up, Katara pulled the bandages off her head, the wraps falling down into a pile in her lap. She reached down and pulled the needles out of her arm, wincing from the sharp pain before she was fully unhooked from the machines beside her. She shifted her body in the bed and got her legs off the side, taking a breath as her feet touched the ground besides Shoto. "Are you going to say I shouldn't go?" She questioned him, his hands shaking in frustration.

"You were almost captured, or worse, by these villains. We barely got through that night with the injuries we already received, and… what if something else were to happen if you went out there tonight?" he looked up to her in concern, "what if it's worse tonight?"

"I can't just sit here if someone needs help. And I was chosen as class rep, wasn't I?" She stretched her arm, wincing at the pain in her muscle. "If I can't help my own classmates when they need it, then I shouldn't have that title."

Shoto wanted to argue with her, to tell her it was far too dangerous for her to risk it. And… to the fact that he didn't want to see her hurt. But while she was compassionate, he had learned she was also headstrong and stubborn, one who would not sit by even if he told her. Sighing, he stood up and pulled the bandages of his own arm. "Then if you're going, You need to try and heal that shoulder of yours as much as you can. And I'll make sure you are safe this time."

Katara's heart jumped at his words, staring up at him in surprise. "So, that mean's you're..."

"I'm coming with you. Besides…" Shoto clenched his fist as he remembered those blue flames. "I'll be ready this time."

Later that day

Edgeshot leaped across the rooftops as he ran through the city, his feet not making a sound as he dashed over the concrete before leaping once more. As soon as he received the call, he was out his door and heading straight towards the meeting point for the other heroes for the mission.

"For the villains to target him of all students…" he hissed under his mask and kicked off a chimney stack. "...They have no idea who they are dealing with."

glancing up to the setting sun, the ninja hero couldn't shake the feeling of worry in his chest. While he knew his former intern was strong, he was still only a kid, and grew concerned of what would happen. He just knew he had to meet with All Might and the task force of other heroes gathering to end this threat and bring these kids home.

"I'm coming Bakugo. I'll be there soon."

Sitting in her room, Kendo stared down as she rubbed her bandaged side, wincing slightly at the faint pain still there. Even after Recovery Girl came in and healed her and the others, she could still feel the bruising across her rib cage. She glanced up when she heard the door open, smiling softly as she watched Setsuna walk through the door carrying a tray of food. "Hey..."

"Looks like someone needs a bite to eat before we head home," Setsuna offered as she made her way in.

"I could use a bite, thanks." Kendo shifted to the side allowing her friend to sit next to her. "Don't get mad if I don't enjoy it."

"Hey, we all know hospital food tastes like shit, don't worry." Setsuna chuckled and held the tray over, but felt her smile falter when she watched her class rep turn away."You okay? You need me to-

"How's everyone else doing?" Kendo quietly asked as she stared down, earning a small sigh from Setsuna.

"Well, both Tetsutetsu and Shishida are doing okay with their injuries. Shiozake and everyone else who got slept by that gas are still out."

"And the others?"

Setsuna frowned herself and set the tray down. "Well besides the two still missing, we saw Katara is doing good now along with the others."

"That's not what I mean…" Kendo clenched her fist in pain and anger. "This was our first time facing villains, and we were completely caught off guard. We couldn't do anything. Even class A has faced this kind of thing before, but look what happened."

"Come on, don't beat yourself up…" Setsuna gave a quick pat to her friend. "you can't just think-

"We could do nothing… any of us. Even class A couldn't do anything. We have so much more to go before we even can call ourselves heroes."

Kendo gritted her teeth in frustration saying that, looking down at her wrapped hand. This was her first time ever encountering villains, and she thought she would have been prepared for something like this. After hearing how class A made it out nearly all unscathed during the USJ, she thought with their training they have had since school stared was going to be enough. She would have never guessed how wrong she could have been. After seeing what these villains were capable of, she realized how much further she had to go. But that wasn't the problem.

She couldn't help but feel guilty herself, feeling completely helpless as both Katara and Yaoyorozu had to help her several times while she was in danger. She was also their in the end, unable to do anything as she watched two students taken away through the portal as she and the others weren't able to stop them. She felt like she could punch a hole through the wall in frustration, seeing how much she needed to grow from where she was. Not wanting to damage her room, Kendo stood up and walked towards the door.

"Hey, where you going?" Setsuna asked in confusion.

"I need to check on everyone else. And…" Kendo sighed in annoyance as she thought back to what she and her other classmates talked about yesterday. "… I need a bite to eat."

As she walked out of the room, Setsuna saw in confusion before frowning and crossing her arms. "The hell? Is my hospital food not good enough for you?"

"Izuku, You don't have to do this."

Izuku paused tying his shoes when he heard Momo's shaking voice behind him. The sun was nearly down at this point, only a faint remainder of orange left in the sky. He was fully dressed in his street clothes now, having removed the bandages from his arms earlier after talking with the doctor. He had barely spoken since that meeting, being told the damage to his arms was far worse than he realized. Having shattered his arms so many times in such a small time frame had destroyed his ligaments, to the point several more injuries like that could render his arms useless, something he still hadn't told Momo.

And it still didn't lower her worry any bit as she pleaded him to not do this.

"You were so hurt last time. You've… you have been hurt so much now," She warned him, her trembling hand coming up and clutching her chest.

Izuku turned around to look at her, his breath catching in his throat as she was out of her hospital robes and now in a button up blouse and shorts. But her beauty was being overtaken by the look of concern on her face, swallowing as he looked forward to adjust his green hoodie. "I have to go. If I can't help, then I can't call myself a hero then."

But what about you? What if you get hurt even worse this time and…" Momo clenched her teeth in worry thinking about it, walking up and standing behind him. "How do you think I would feel?"

Izuku felt his heart jump at her words, his cheeks heating up at that last sentence. "I-I know. But, if I don't try, I can never be happy with myself. If you were taken… I would not stop until I found where you were."

Before he could turn around, Izuku was caught off guard as her arms encircled him from behind, pulling his back into her chest. His eyes widened in shock before he felt her cheek pressed into his shoulder, feeling her take a deep breath against him. Normally he would have turned into a blushing mess… but now, he felt more comfortable than he had in a long time. Perhaps his nerves were so on edge for his friends, at this point he couldn't tell. Either way, it felt amazing and he didn't want it to end. But he knew he couldn't stay like this.

"Momo. I… I know it sounds too dangerous, but I have to go with Kirishima. We have to at least try and save Kachaan and Tokoyami. If I don't, I don't know what could happen to them. I will be okay. I promise."

Increasing her squeeze on him, Momo let out a sigh in frustration before nodding. "Alright then. Then I'm coming with you, too."

"What?!" Izuku gasped out. "No, it's too dangerous. I can't let you go and-

"Izuku… If you're going, then I am going. That is it." She demanded, "Someone's got to keep an eye on you from doing anything too stupid."

"I can't let you go, this is too risky!"

"Then I won't let you go, either." she threatened him, her hand glowing ready to create anything. "I'll lock you in this room so you can't get hurt again."

Sweating at her threat, Izuku frowned and looked back at her. "I don't want you to get hurt."

"Then you better protect me." She whispered and laid her face back onto his shoulder, causing his heart to burst.

"That is not fair!" He cried out in both defeat and happiness.

As they continued going back and forth, neither of them noticed the figure standing outside of the cracked open door, overhearing their entire conversation.

Darkness now sat over the street outside the hospital as Kirishima stood there alone. He was never told confirmations from anyone who was willing to join him, only hoping some of his classmates were willing to take the risk with him. Suddenly the doors to the hospital slid open, his eyes widening in surprise when he saw both Shoto and Katara walking towards him, the waterbender leaving her hair loose behind herself. He didn't need to say anything though, the look of determination on both of their faces enough to tell him they were ready.

"Thank you guys. Feels better with you both here." He said as they reached his spot.

"We can't let you go on your own. They are our friends, too." Katara said, earning a satisfied nod from the red head. She rolled her shoulder a few times, the pain much less after several healing sessions but still there.

"Yeah, but we need Yaoyorozu. If she doesn't agree to come and make that tracker, we are stuck here." Kirishima sighed out.

Almost on cue, the door to the hospital opened once more, the trio turning to see the creationist slowly coming their way, and she wasn't alone.

"Midoriya…" Kirishima whispered out as the pair came closer, feeling happy he was willing to come as well. He then looked over and nodded to Momo. "I was worried you were not going to agree. Now we can do this."

"This goes against all the rules that the school has put in place for us," Shoto quietly stated as the five of them faced each other.

"I know, but we can't just sit here when our friends are in trouble." Katara responded and looked around to the others. "If we do this together, then we will be fine."

"I can't let you go."

The sudden stern voice behind her made Katara's heart jump, turning around and seeing Tenya standing there along the road. "Tenya? What… what are you-

"You think I was going to sit by as my friends were going to do some stupid stunt?" Tenya growled out as he glared at the ground. "I figured some of you were going to go along with Kirishima's plan. But you…" His gaze shot straight towards the waterbender in the group. "I never thought you would do this, Katara."

Glaring, Katara stepped around to face him. "I have to do this. I'm not going to sit by while our friends are in trouble."

"Don't you understand how dangerous this is? Not only that, but you are the class rep. You are supposed to be the head of our class and be responsible! This is completely wrong!"

"And what's wrong with helping someone? If being responsible means not trying to save someone, then that is ridiculous!"

Stomping forward, Tenya's fierce gaze remained locked on her. "Do you realize how stupid this is? You nearly died, and yet both you and Midoriya are willing to go out their and risk your safety once more!"

Izuku sensed Momo tense up next to him, squeezing his fist and staring back at Tenya. "This is about saving Kachaan and Tokoyami. We have to do this."

Tenya's teeth clenched together in frustration as he came face to face with Katara, the waterbender not giving an inch even as he approached. "You are being so foolish. How can you sit there and just say you are doing this?!"

"What do you want me to do, Tenya? I made a promise to myself that I won't turn my back on someone who needs my help, and I won't break that promise!" Katara snapped back. To her shock Tenya's hands shot forward and grabbed her arms, the sudden movement causing her shoulder to sting slightly. What made her shocked however were the tears falling from Tenya's eyes.

"How can you do the same mistake I made?!" he cried out, his voice cracking in frustration. "When I saw both you and Midoriya in those beds… I thought of my brother. I was so worried something like that could have happened to either of you. And like how stupid I was, you are about to risk your lives to go after these villains."

Katara sat in silence as Tenya's hands squeezed her arms in fear, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "How… how do you think Tensei, or me would feel if something happened to you? Why can't you see you are doing the same mistake I did when I went after the hero killer?!"

The group all sat quiet at Tenya's desperate words, now seeing why he was so against them wanting to do this. It was more than just breaking rules, but much more personal as he was so close to Katara. And to see her so injured petrified him to what could have happened, something Shoto looked down in worry as well. Katara stared at the ground for several more seconds before her hand reached up and grabbed his wrist.

"Tenya. I am so sorry I made you worried. I would never want to make you feel that way." She looked up into his eyes, seeing his worry run deep. "But this is something I have to do. I told you I would always be there to help you, and I mean that. That also means I need to help my friends as well. So I am going."

Tenya's mouth fell open in disbelief to her determination, grunting in frustration to her stubbornness. Letting her go, he wiped his eyes dry and crossed his arms before sternly looking back down to her. "Fine. If you are going, then I shall accompany you."

Katara's mouth now was the one to hang open in surprise. "Wait, what?!"

"I cannot allow you to do something so reckless on your own. I would never hear the end of it from Tensei if I did! Besides…" Tenya turned and gave a harsh stare towards Shoto. "I must discuss some urgent things with Todoroki!"

"Me?" Shoto sat confused to the request.

Whistling out, Kirishima smiled in success. "It looks like we got our team now. If we do this thing right, we probably don't even have to fight these guys. We can do this all stealth like."

"So that's your guy's plan?"

All six of the teens jumped in surprise to the new voice coming from the hospital, the teen hands shoved inside their jean jacket pockets. What was most shocking however is who it was, none of them expecting to see this person coming their way.

"Kendo?" Katara said out loud.

The class B rep quietly walked towards them, her green eyes locked onto the group standing there. She stopped a few paces away and nodded towards Izuku and Momo. "I was walking by earlier when I overheard the two of them talking in his room. I heard what you were planning on doing tonight with that tracker."

While the pair of them blushed in embarrassment to giving away their plan, Kirishima frowned and stepped towards their rival class leader. "Yeah, you heard them right. We are going to go and save our friends."

Grunting, Kendo exhaled and looked away. "I can't believe you class A kids. All of this trouble you get yourself into and yet you keep wanting to do it." She reached up and scratched her head. "I thought you'd all finally sit back and listen for once."

Katara glared and placed a hand on her hips. "We aren't going to sit by while our friends were in danger. And don't try and convince us we aren't going, because we are."

"Oh I'm not going to try and stop you. Even if I did, it's not like I could do much. And I'm no rat either, but that's not why I'm here." Kendo looked back towards the waterbender and lowered her hand back into her jacket. "Besides, I have a score to settle with these villain guys too."

The glare vanished from Katara's face and was replaced with one of confusion and disbelief. "Wait… are you saying that…?"

Kendo gave a small nod in response. "I'm coming with you guys, too."
