The Succubus walked down that long hall. She heard her feet hitting the ground but wasn't hearing much else. She hadn't heard anything since the nurse told her Lauren was in labor and that it was too soon. Too soon? But why? Had she driven the Doctor to an early labor? They were having such a nice day, and then bam. Here they are in a hospital Bo had never been in before or heard of before. She heard her breaths. She was almost hyperventilating. Every breath was a fight to get to the next one. She closed her eyes trying to calm down before she sees Lauren. A few tears escaped before she felt a soft hand on her shoulder. Not our baby. Please. Please. Bo whispered internally.

"Bo? Albert whispered softly.

Bo opened her eyes and tears fell again. She looked devastated that something she did could have cost them their baby.

"I'm sorry. I tried to get her here as fast as I could". Bo's face flooded with tears. She started trembling as she looked into Albert's eyes. Stephen nodded in her direction.

"We haven't seen her yet. We don't know the circumstances. Let's go in and see her okay? Albert said softly. Bo nodded and he gently pulled her along. The Succubus closed her eyes once more as they neared the doors.

"You can do this Isabeau. They need you". Aife whispered in Bo's ear.

She nodded and opened the doors. The nurses and doctors were busy working on Lauren. The Doctor wasn't awake, but they were still trying to save the baby.

"Can you get them out of here? As Lauren's grandfather you can request that right? Bo turned to Albert. For the first time, he looked worried too.

"Stop. Leave my granddaughter alone for the time being. As long as she's okay, we want some time alone with her". Albert spoke up.

"Sir we really don't have much time". Dr. Jackson turned to the older gentleman.

"I know that. The sooner you leave the sooner you can return. Now please. Leave Bo and my granddaughter alone". Albert asked softly.

Aife held the doors for the staff to rush out of. Dr. Jackson shook his head and looked back once more before he stepped out of the room.

"Aife". Albert said softly.

The older Succubus kissed the back of Bo's head and Lauren's forehead before she left the two of them alone.

Once the doors shut behind them, Bo bowed her head and looked up again. She walked over to Lauren. The Doctor was facing the other direction. Bo removed one glove. The staff was so worried about infections that they made Bo dress in scrubs with long sleeves and latex gloves.

She bit her lip and lifted her hand. She gently touched Lauren's stomach and closed her eyes again.

"Kara it is not time for you. You must stop hurting your mother and yourself. Settle down inside of there sweetie, and wait until it is time. Your mother loves you and so do we. Please baby girl. Fight to love. Fight to live".

Bo's hand was as warm as she had ever known it to be when she used her pulse powers. She touched Lauren's cheek. She watched her stir and turn in Bo's direction.

"Bo? What…what happened? Lauren asked.

"For your doctor mind, you collapsed, and I rushed you here. For your mother mind, we nearly lost the baby. But I think she's okay now". Bo replied tearfully.

"She? Lauren asked.

"Well I guess it's a girl. My Succubus seems to think so too". Bo wiped Lauren's tears with her bare hand.

Lauren laid still. She didn't feel any pain. She wasn't sure what the baby was doing or had done. "I don't know".

"It's okay babe, Kara will be fine". Bo took the stool and rolled it over to Lauren's bed.

"Kara? Lauren asked.

"I named her after you. Something like Karen". Bo smiled as she grabbed Lauren's hand.

"Bo that is so sweet." Lauren smiled tearfully.

"You get to name my baby". Bo rubbed her stomach.

"Or your babies". Lauren laughed.

"Oh goodness. Three babies? Bo mock pouted.

"I always wanted Charlotte". Lauren said softly.

"I know. But I wanted Kara". Bo licked her lips.

"Bo you don't look well. Are you sure you are okay? Lauren asked.

"The Doctor in you is waking up huh? I'm better. I promise". Bo cooed.

Lauren tried to sit up.

"Easy". Bo moved to help her.

"I'm okay. Just ready to get out of here". Lauren said softly.

"Then I will get your Doctor, Doctor. But please stay still until he releases you". Bo gently held Lauren until the blonde stopped moving.

"I'll be right back". Bo said softly. She kissed Lauren's forehead and stood up. Before Lauren knew it. Albert, Stephen, Aife and Dr. Jackson were in her room.

"How are you feeling Lauren? Aife asked.

"I'm better, and a bit embarrassed". Lauren blushed.

Dr. Jackson did a brief examination. He ordered an immediate ultrasound. They were baffled at what they saw. The baby was moving like a normal baby inside of Lauren's womb.

"So she's pregnant with one? Bo asked.

"We don't know for sure. I've often seen one baby and two popped out". Dr. Jackson replied.

"I want one of those too. An ultrasound. Before you discharge Lauren". Bo said seriously.

"Right away". Dr. Jackson said.

"Bo this really isn't necessary, unless you are not feeling well". Lauren frowned.

"Oh, trust me. I hate those things. But there's no need for me not to get checked out while we are here". Bo smiled softly.

"Then lay down". Aife and Stephen pulled a bed over for Bo to lay on. Lauren was cleaned up and pushed in a wheelchair next to Bo's bed.

"Everyone but Dr. Lewis out of the room please". Dr. Jackson said.

Aife, Albert and Stephen walked out of the room. The three of them sighed in relief that everything looked like it is going to be okay.

"She saved her". Albert said.

"She did. There is no way her Succubus was going to let their baby die. I am so proud of Isabeau for knowing she has the power to do that. She looked like she was going to pass out before we got to Lauren's room." Aife replied. They slowly walked down the hall to the waiting room. It had cleared out since the last time they saw it.

"Here. Have a seat". Stephen offered to Aife.

The Succubus accepted the chair. She took some deep breaths and spoke again.

"We have to be more united. This was a close call and Isabeau was alone during all of it. That can't happen again. She needs all of us. Whatever shit you have in your head Stephen, you better leave it…no I will advise you to leave it here in these walls because if it ever comes out, you won't be able to stop the ass kicking I will put on your ass." Aife's eyes flashed blue and brown again.

Stephen bit his lip. The Succubus is right. His constant paranoia about Bo could have been the cause of his sister's near miscarriage.

"She's right son. Whatever is going on in your head about Bo, needs to be disposed of now. They are carrying Succubi. We can't say for sure if Lauren's baby was coming for you. But they are powerful babies, and we all know it". Albert said with less bite to his words than Aife's was.

The three of them sat staring out the massive window. Time was standing still as they waited for Bo and Lauren to finish.

"Let's go". Aife huffed out. She was tired of waiting. Something could have gone terribly wrong. She smiled when she saw both women being wheeled out.

"Is something wrong? Albert asked.

"No. Lauren insisted we both be wheeled out. My car is downstairs someone is going to have to drive us home". Bo said softly.

"I'll do it". Stephen extended his hand and Bo handed him her keys.

The men pushed the women as Aife walked behind them. The Succubus wanted to make sure they were not being followed and that nothing else happened. She still had a suspenseful eye on Stephen. His aura was all over the place.

"Easy". Albert said as he helped Bo into the car. Stephen helped Lauren. Aife started the car so it would warm up for them.

"We'll follow you". Aife said as she and Stephen moved around each other.

Bo and Lauren were helped into their house and into their bed. Aife had arranged for extra staff to tend to their every need. Food was to be cooked and brought to them. They weren't allowed to get out of bed for anything unless they needed to use the bathroom.
When Bo tired of all the attention, she dismissed the servants.

"Let me know if you get hungry again. I just got tired of them coming in and out. We probably need a nap." Bo said softly.

"Then let's get some sleep". Lauren said softly as they settled in under the thick blankets and laid their heads on soft pillows.

"Okay but first". Bo said as she threw the blankets off of Lauren. She bent down near the Doctor's stomach, gently lifted her gown, and kissed her stomach. "Mama loves you".

"Bo. That is so sweet. I'd do the same but…". Lauren started.

"No. You can do that another time. Right now, rest Doctor". Bo smiled as she pulled the covers back over the both of them.

Downstairs.

"Where are we on Isabeau's surprise? Aife asked.

"They have been working round the clock. It shouldn't be much longer". Stephen said.

"Hurry them up. I am sure she is anxious to surprise Lauren with it". Aife said seriously.

"And as quietly as possible. They need to rest". Albert said.

"Of course, grandfather". Stephen bowed and left them near the stairs.

"What are we going to do? Albert asked.

"We are going to pick rooms for the night and hang out until it's time for bed. Unknown to Lauren and Isabeau, I snuck a baby monitor under their beds. If I so much as hear one of them crying, I will rush in." The Succubus held the other monitor in her hand.

"Brilliant". Albert moved away and walked around the massive living room. He looked upstairs and pointed to the room he wanted.

"Good. I will take the one on the opposite end of the hall". Aife said as she went to grab them a few beers.

The staff was cooking them dinner. They were told to do that as quietly as possible too.

"I am tired of them driving themselves everywhere. I will summon some of my guards from Berlin to be their personal drivers. There will be two per car. One driving, and the other to tend to their needs. They are royalty and will be treated as such". Aife smiled as she pulled her phone out.

Stephen

"We want this done in two days. But understand no corners are to be cut. Nothing better be below our expectations. Get it done now". Stephen said as he pulled a chair up and took his seat. To the average person it would be cold outside, but to him it was rather warm. He was determined to help his sister. She is going to love the double serving building. Probably the greenhouse the most. They had large tarps hiding the construction site. He smiled when he saw the treehouses. Those kids are going to be spoiled beyond their wildest dreams. It was time for Uncle Stephen to be the uncle they need him to be, and they aren't even born yet.

Kenzi

Kenzi kicked a piece of trash across the floor. She was not about to eat anymore of that shit they were calling food. She was bored, and it is too cold to go outside in thin jackets. The other inmates had much warmer clothes. Better food. They were practically eating steaks and she was being served dog shit. That's what it looked like at least.

She often thought of Dyson. He would have gotten her out of there by now. Hale had vanished off her radar. What little radar she had left. She didn't use the phone anymore. She had nobody to call. Her cousins stopped taking her calls days ago. She wanted to slap herself for being stupid enough to get caught with that damn ring. But she needed money to eat. To live.

She thought of Bo and wondered what the hell the Succubus could be thinking to leave Kenzi in there for such a long time. Bo is not other Fae. She has a soft spot for helping people. She can't be comfortable living it up when Kenzi is living it down in that nasty building.

She thought of Aife. That bitch was just like Trick had said. Crazy and ruthless.

She thought of Lauren and rolled her eyes. How did the biggest liar Bo has ever known turn out to be Fae? She always thought Lauren seemed different but thought that was just her being a snob and thinking she was better than Kenzi.

There really wasn't anyone else to think of besides Bo's impending children. Those bitches across from her had mocked her with the news. She swallowed hard thinking they are Lauren's children too. Spoiled and brainiac's.

"You are not getting out of here anytime soon little one. The little ones will be grown before that happens". An older lady laughed from behind her.

"Who the hell are you? Kenzi asked.

"One that can read your aura. You hate as much as you breathe. Scheme as much as you shit". The woman laughed.

"You're a Succubus? Kenzi scoffed as she turned around. She was shocked that woman looked younger than she sounded.

"I didn't say that. But since you asked. Yes. As long as your aura tells me you are plotting something, Aife will be notified. You're stuck here. Have fun with the shit. Humans can't go without eating forever". The woman laughed and left the room.

Kenzi wanted to scream. Seems Aife had friends everywhere in that joint. She had never seen that woman before. She gritted her teeth and decided to return to her cell.

She was shocked when she got there. Her cellmate had a new cellmate and she was sitting on Kenzi's cot. If she could even call that hard as a rock thing a cot.

"What the hell is going on now? Kenzi asked.

"You have been moved". The Warden walked up.

"To where? Kenzi asked.

"That cell there". The Warden pointed.

"Mice come out of there day and night". Kenzi scoffed.

"Well maybe you should have thought of that when you tried to escape again. There is no escaping this facility. Our guards have been given Rottweilers. You would never outrun them." The Warden laughed.

"Aife? Kenzi rolled her eyes.

"Aife". The Warden and the other ladies laughed.

Kenzi rolled her eyes again. She would go walking until it was time for bed. She wasn't about to be in a room filled with mice if she didn't have to be there yet.

"Is she not ever getting out of here? A woman asked after Kenzi had walked away.

"If it was anybody else she stole from, she would have been home by now. But she stole something very valuable to Aife. The Succubus could call in favors to get her released, but Aife will never do that". The Warden laughed.

The woman nodded and walked back to her cot.

Bo and Lauren

Bo had returned from the bathroom and gently moved over in the bed to spoon Lauren. She kissed the back of her head and settled in to sleep again. Her scent was soothing. She gently touched her stomach and smiled. The baby wasn't kicking like she was in distress or anything. That is a wonderful sign.

She thought of the name she gave her. She found it fitting as a double tribute. One, it is close to Karen. Two, it sounds like care. Like Lauren does. She cares about people. Even when she shouldn't. How lucky is Bo to have found a wonderful woman and partner like the woman sleeping soundly in her arms? She should probably be sleeping too since she's pregnant as well. But the thought and smell of Lauren gives her life. An energy she could never describe in words.

Even when she thought Lauren was a human, she gave the same life and energy. Those two adorable sides to Lauren. The lab Lauren and the after-hours Lauren. You would never think Lauren would do the things she does. The way she loves. The way she thinks. The way she fights for people that never deserved it. Like jumping on top of the Ash trying to save him. Although Bo wasn't there to see it, she heard about it. He would have stepped over Lauren's dead body and went looking for another Doctor to replace her.

But the woman was never going to die. Not being a witch and a Succubus. Bo smiled thinking of her Succubus playing with Lauren's. Perhaps that's the hunger she always felt for the Doctor. To see which one of them could top the other one in bed. But it was not always about sex. It was about having the family they held in their stomachs. She touched her own stomach and gave the same speech to her baby. She must not come before it is time. She couldn't stand to lose a walking part of Lauren. This baby was giving her life today. During that long walk, she gently kicked Bo reminding her of what is at stake. Like a silent call to save her sister. Save their mother. Save their family. Save her play buddy. But then again. Bo could be having a boy given a witch impregnated her.

She laughed and pulled Lauren closer. She could live with the baby being named Ethan. But she wasn't sure if Lauren is going to stick with that name or Charlotte anymore after she had named Lauren's baby. She laughed again imagining what names the Doctor was going to come up with. She just hoped she could pronounce it without using a dictionary.

She jumped when she felt her baby kick. Mama's sorry about that last thought. Bo laughed as she closed her eyes to sleep.
