"Wake her the fuck up! Aife screamed.

Kenzi groaned. "What? Who?

"Get up little one." A raspy voiced woman yanked on Kenzi's shirt.

"What's going on? I thought Bo was going to help me." Kenzi wiped her tired eyes. It was the middle of the night and she had finally fallen asleep after so much ruckus from her cellmates.

"Bo? Aife laughed. "You will not see my daughter, today."

"Then why are you here? Kenzi pushed her back against the wall.

"Don't worry, you won't die, yet." Aife spoked sadistically.

Kenzi looked back and forth between the two women, trying to get a read on them. But being locked up for so long, her skills were not as sharp as they once were.

"She will not get into one of my vehicles dressed like that. Watch her shower and see that she dresses appropriately." Aife turned and walked down the hall towards the Warden's office. "Ole girl, we need to talk."

"You heard Aife, get up and showered. Your clothes will be waiting when you emerge, succubus approved clean." The woman yanked Kenzi from her bed.

Kenzi cursed the whole time as they practically ran down the hall and to the showers. On one hand, she was happy to be showering. On the other hand, she did not know what is going on. For Bo to send Aife, does not sound good at all. Bo used to be bolder than this. Now it is like she is hiding behind her mother. Making the old Succubus do all of her dirty work That is not the Bo, Kenzi knew and loved. She was taken aback at that thought. Did she still love Bo? Could she trust her after Bo allowed her to stay many nights in this stank dump? The shower was nice and hot. For once she did not have to look over her shoulder. Yet, she was still pressed for time.

"Time's up. Come out here and get dressed. Aife won't wait for much longer." The old raspy woman banged on the shower door.

Kenzi groaned and pulled the towel around her body. She did not have her wigs and was forced to wash her real hair.

"Hurry up. I have to approve your look before I present you to the Succubus. You are lucky, she wants to kill you. But Bo said otherwise. Probably the last thing the young Succubus will do for you." The woman mocked Kenzi whenever she could. That was a command of Aife's too.

Half an hour later, Kenzi was presented to Aife. The old Succubus laughed but approved of how Kenzi looked and was dressed. She was placed in an unmarked car and followed behind Aife's second car in her entourage.

They drove for an hour before they suddenly stopped. Kenzi's door was opened, and she was yanked out and thrown into a ragged looking building. It was worse than the clubhouse. It had windows, but nothing else was inside. She looked around at the dusty floors and dirty windows. It reeked of dead animal scents.

"Give her three day's worth of food. The rest will be up to her when and how she eats." Aife spoke coldly.

"And what am I supposed to do about a bed and cover? Kenzi asked.

"Here." Stephen threw something at Kenzi, and she shrieked when it landed on her.

"What is this?! Kenzi dusted herself off.

"You've heard of throw rugs right? Aife asked.

"Yes, so? Kenzi looked puzzled.

"That's what's left of Dyson! Aife laughed.

Kenzi covered her mouth and turned away from them. She threw up all over the floor.

"Gross. Lets get out of here boys." Aife shook her head.

"Stay away from my family." Stephen spoke softly as he walked out.

"Bo was my family first! Kenzi screamed.

"Wrong, idiot. Aife held her before any of us. Now, stay away from them. I won't tell you again." Stephen seethed as he walked out.

"Or, what? Kenzi asked. She had literally just left hell. What could they do to her?

"Or I will look into your future and tell you what's really coming your way. It's not pretty." Stephen laughed. He never looked into Lauren and Bo's futures because they asked him not to. That did not mean, he would not look into Kenzi's immediate future.

Kenzi turned in the other direction and hurled again. They had saved Dyson's wolf skin and used it and turned it into a throw rug. Only Aife would be that cruel. Albert and Stephen had no way of knowing what he meant to Kenzi or what he may still mean to Bo. This could be her way back in.

Bo and Lauren's.

"This is what I always wanted. With you in my arms, I will never fear that I am a monster again. You are beautiful and I love you." Bo whispered as she turned around.

Lauren stood watching from the far breezeway. Bo was dancing to soft music with their daughters in her arms. She cringed when Bo said monster because she thought they were past Bo thinking that. But the babies are just her way of reminding herself. She tightened her robe around her body and quietly found a chair to sit into observe this beautiful moment.

The music had long stopped, and Bo was still rocking Kara and Isadora in her arms. She had rested her head on one of their shoulders and started to cry before the blonde stood up and walked over to her family.

"Bo." Lauren whispered.

"I'm sorry. I know I only got out of bed to change them, but I wanted to spend some time with them too. There are so much of you Lauren, I know they can't be dark like my Succubus can be." Bo sobbed.

"They won't be. You are not dark Bo. You are not a monster. Yes, your Succubus can be dark, but she is also good. Remember that sex club? She came out and protected me. That was not a monster. That was love." Lauren took Kara so Bo would not have to struggle holding both in her breakdown. "C'mon, let's go to bed. We'll bring them this time."

Bo nodded and held Lauren's free hand as they walked back to their bedroom. They made a safe spot in the middle so they would not accidentally roll on the girls in their slumber.

Lauren stayed up the longest. She watched Bo and the girls. The brunette played with and made faces at them until the three fell asleep. Bo herself, is like a child at times, needing reassurance that she is safe and protected. Lauren is her doctor and that is something else she needs to oversee. Her patient getting everything she needs physically and mentally to lead a happy and productive life as her lover and mother to their daughters. The blonde gently leaned in and kissed three foreheads before pulling back to try and sleep.

Sleeping is going to be hard because of why Bo had gone to check on the girls in the first place. They were hot and heavy in bed when the brunette thought she heard one of them crying. She went to check on them and took too long to come back for Lauren's taste. The blonde climbed out of bed and that is when she found Bo dancing in the dark with their daughters. It was probably Bo's succubus instincts to keep the darkness from invading their blissful home for the night.

She had probably been riled up by Kenzi hours ago. Lauren can only imagine what state Kenzi is in after being locked up for ages. That was exactly why Lauren had said Bo should see Kenzi to get it all out in the open. She will not ask what they talked about because she probably already knows. Why Bo left Kenzi in there. How it is Lauren's fault. The same ole crap the blonde had come to expect from Kenzi when they all first met. If Kenzi had her way, Bo would have only had Dyson, Trick, Hale and Kenzi in her life. There was no room for the ice blooded Doctor. But Bo found her, and they fell in love.

It is the same love making their bed go up and down. It is the same love that created two of the lives lightly snoring next to Lauren. She smiled and pulled the thick blankets over all four of them. She turned and extended her arms across the bed, just above Bo's waste. Bo mumbled something and Lauren nearly laughed but held it in to keep from waking the babies up.

The next day

Albert, Stephen and Aife were all up and sitting out on their patio. Aife had assembled a small staff to cook them all a big breakfast.

"Aife we should talk about it." Albert broke the silence.

"Bo asked me to release her. She didn't say stick her to my ass to babysit." Aife gently put her hand up to signal that Kenzi is the least of her worries. She really does not have any worries. Trick is dead. Bo has a powerful family, and they have a stable relationship with each other. Lauren is everything Aife could have ever wished for her daughter. Kind. Loving.. Something hard for any Fae to be. But they are a big family now, and that extends to taking care of little problems like Kenzi.

"Will Bo be happy that we left her with nothing? Albert asked.

"She came from nothing. She is used to it. Isabeau never gave me illicit instructions on what she wanted done with her. She will be fine, old boy." Aife smiled at Albert. He was another Fae like Bo, with a soft heart for the helpless.

"That's good stuff." Stephen sighed after drinking some whiskey.

"Share with the old woman, huh? Aife pushed a glass to him.

Albert watched them eat a grilled breakfast. His thoughts turned to Lauren. She has always been a kind, caring woman. If she knew Kenzi was left to fend for herself, deep down, the blonde would not like it. But as Aife said, Bo did not say how she wanted Kenzi dealt with.

The three stood to walk into the house, once it started to rain. Stephen lit the fireplace and they all settled into comfortable chairs. Aife does not live with them, but she is always a welcome guest.

"Let's play cards? Stephen suggested.

"I'm game." Aife smiled wickedly.

Bo and Lauren

"Are you okay? Lauren played with dark locks with Bo in her arms.

"I'm fine babe. I was just ready for this bed to be ours again. I am sorry that I left it before." Bo kissed the back of the blonde's hand.

"Don't be sorry, Bo. You heard them cry and went to them. Like any mother would." Lauren smiled as she kissed the top of Bo's head.

"Are you worried about them having powers so soon after birth? Bo asked.

"They are ours. They are destined to be ahead of the class." Lauren answered.

"Well, their wands need to stay in the garage for a few years." Bo laughed. The house still smelled of smoke.

"That's true." Lauren laughed too. Toy wands weren't toys in their daughter's hands.

"We can find other things for them to play with that will expand their minds like their blonde mother." Bo cooed once Lauren turned serious again.

"I know. I know." Lauren pulled Bo closer. "You know you're not a monster, right?

"I am so sorry about that. They are everything that I had wished for, for so long. I never knew I could have a family. A loving, accepting family. You accept me. Our kids accept me. This is just a wonderful life that I never want to take for granted. You were almost ready to leave me after my dawning. If you had, we wouldn't have any of this. I am not talking about our material things, I am talking about our girls. Mom, Albert, and Stephen. Kenzi used to think that Dyson was my mate. That he would live thousands of years and protect me. I never needed his protection, and I wouldn't have been happy with him. Not like I am happy right now, with you." Bo looked up into the Doctor's eyes. She used one hand to wipe away Lauren's tears. "I'm just being honest." She whispered.

"I never knew you were this lonely, Bo. That you felt like you had nothing to offer or do in this world. I know you wanted a normal life, but I never knew you were this lonely. This unloved." Lauren replied as they locked hands.

"I found love the first time we kissed. Actually, I found it the first time we touched. I found a home. A safe place. Somewhere to rest my tired spirit that had sought a life like this for years. Somewhere to place my heart and know that it will always be safe, with you." Bo rolled onto her back and pulled Lauren closer.

"I adore you too, Isabeau. Speaking of safety. What did you do about Kenzi? Lauren asked.

"I went to see her and asked mom to arrange for her release." Bo looked down at the blonde.

"That's it? Lauren asked.

"That's it, my love. We can't let Kenzi be a cloud over our family. Our kids don't deserve that. Being locked up didn't seem to change her much. She was biding her time waiting for me to release her. I trust mom to do the right thing and not kill her. I am sure there will be someone looking after her. To make sure she doesn't get near them or harm some innocent in her anger to get her old lifestyle back." Bo pulled thick blankets over them. Storms were sweeping through the area. She turned her head towards the baby monitors to make sure the girls weren't crying.

"After what they did with the wands, I doubt any trouble will find them soon. We are their protectors, with their grandmother, uncle and great-grandfather just minutes away." Lauren looked towards the window. She loves the sound of rain.

The mothers laid there for a few minutes.

"Hey, you haven't eaten anything." Bo gently sat up in bed.

"Okay." Lauren snapped her fingers and two trays appeared on their respective nightstands.

"Lauren." Bo laughed.

"Well, I don't like cooking during thunderstorms." Lauren shrugged.

"Oh, I wasn't complaining." Bo licked her lips and turned towards the nearest tray.

"We'll check on the kids after we eat." Lauren mouthed with food in her mouth.

Bo leaned towards the monitors and still did not hear anything. "So far, so good."

Lauren nodded and drank some juice. It has been a weird day, but she cannot complain. She is with her family. Doing something she rarely gets to do, relax. She trusts everything that Bo said about Aife. If she released Kenzi, she did so with Bo in mind. She was not harmed, but she wasn't coddled either. Not by that Succubus.

Local precinct

"Oh geez, this fool again." A rookie police officer laughed as Kenzi walked inside.

"Pay her no mind. She brings trouble wherever she goes." Another cop laughed.

"Girl is fresh out the clink, and still hasn't learned a damn thing." The rookie slapped his leg.

"Where is Tamsin? Kenzi asked.

"We don't give out officer details. We are not a wolf or a Loki." The rookie turned to type his reports.

"Detective Santiago? Kenzi asked.

"Didn't he just say we don't give out intel? An officer snapped.

"I will have your jobs. You have no idea who you are screwing with, Hale loves me. He would not want anyone not telling me where he is. Now, I suggest you go and get him, now." Kenzi stomped her foot down.

"I suggest you kiss my ass and get out of my precinct." A voice came from behind her.

"I will wait right here. One of them is bound to show up." Kenzi plopped down in a seat.

"Stupid child. Does she not realize who we work for? The room filled with laughter and finger pointing.

Kenzi kicked and screamed as she was picked up and carried out of the building and placed into the back of a squad car. The car took off at rapid speed and she was taken back to the same ragged building Aife had left her at.

"Shit." She buried her head in her hands. Is there nowhere in this colony that the old Succubus does not have influence. She could go to Lauren but going to Lauren means going to Bo. She is not sure she is ready to see Bo anytime soon. She left her to this hell too. She mentally kicked herself for not remembering phone numbers that Hale had given her. He would help her. He would get her out of this place, and she would be living somewhere more suitable.

"This is beneath me". Kenzi cried as her tears fell like the rain outside.

The precinct

"It was funny. I thought I would wet myself when she started kicking and screaming". The rookie laughed.

"Yeah. She's pretty silly. We have a unrelenting Police Chief. There is no way that girl will run anything about this colony. The only thing she will run is a bath. Should she bathe". The rookie slapped his knee.

"But seriously, we need to make sure she's never out of our sights or Police Chief McCorrigan will not be happy". The Captain stepped forward.

Just then, the phone on his desk rang. "Chief". His voice cracked.

"How's the latest dipshit doing? Aife asked.

"She came here looking for the Valkyrie and Siren". The Captain answered.

"They are still on a long vacation, right? Aife asked.

"Yes, Chief. Everything is still in place." The Captain said.

"I never cared much for the popo. But that does not mean I can't have a little fun. So, tell me, how close are you with the Fire Chief? Aife smiled.

"The young Succubus start another fire? The Captain perked.

"No. But that building I put Kenzi in, has to have a lot of fire code violations". Aife laughed.

"I'll get them on it as soon as the rain stops". The Captain said.

"Do it, now! Aife screamed.

"Yes, ma'am. Right away". The Captain hung up. Aife had drained half his department to become the Police Chief. That's why his squad has more rookies than tenured officers. He walked to grab his jacket and head towards the fire station.
