Lauren blinked and turned to her right. She felt the weight of Kara on her chest. She opened her eyes and found Isadora napping on Bo's. The Succubus looks so beautiful like this. Isadora has her little fingers wrapped in Bo's hair. She knew Kara needs to be changed but for the moment her arm was stuck under Bo's head. "Bo?." She gently whispered.

"Hmmm?." Bo rolled over and her eyes flew open. "Shit!." That did it. Now they have two babies crying.

"That's why I whispered." Lauren laughed. She leaned over and gently kissed Bo. Bo kissed her back with a little more passion.

"Mama is sorry babies. I forgot where I was." Bo rocked them both in her arms as Lauren sat up and yanked her arm so her blood would flow.

"Kara needs to be changed. I am sure Dora does too." Lauren finally took the baby back and stood.

"Let's go. I won't let you do that every time." Bo smiled as they walked to the nursery and changed them.

"You're not getting bored with any of this are you? I can work at home and be a housewife too." Lauren spoke over her shoulder. She smiled as Kara playfully kicked her legs in the air.

"A wife?." Bo perked up.

"That's all you heard?." Lauren laughed.

"Well, it's an idea. But to answer your question, Yes. I am fine with all of this. I can be a mother and still want to get out and do things. But not things that will shame them or put their young lives in immediate danger." Bo popped her lips and watched Dora laugh. "Did you like that sweetie?." She tickled her stomach.

Lauren cleaned up and picked Kara up. "It is time for bed."

"But it's early." Bo pouted.

"You won't be sleeping." Lauren winked and Bo's eyes lit up with glee.

"Yep. It's time for bed baby Succubus." Bo hurried behind Lauren. She returned to make sure the house was locked up and ran to their bedroom. Lauren was already in the shower and Bo bit her lips and joined her. She walked up behind the woman. She ghosted her fingers over Lauren's shoulder. "This is a rare time we will have like this." She whispered with lust and hunger.

"That's why I suggested bedtime." Lauren smiled and turned in Bo's arms. The brunette pinned her to the wall and steam filled the shower.

Kenzi

Kenzi screamed and groaned as she was dragged out of the building.

"This building is to be condemned and torn down. It has about fifty fire code violations. Sorry madam, you'll have to sleep on the streets. Our shelters are full. There's not a free bed anywhere." The Fire Chief rambled off.

Kenzi stood in the rain. Cold and hungry. She looked around and saw nothing but streetlights in the distance. She cursed Aife. She knew the Succubus knew about that building. At least in prison she was fed and dry. Now she was starving and wet. She pulled her jacket over her head and started to walk. Plop. Plop. Her feet hit the puddles and soaked her shoes. Inside and out. Dangerous for humans but not for Fae. She could catch a cold or worse.

It's her own fault, really. If she hadn't been stupid and sloppy, she never would have been caught with the Queen's ring. She could have had thousands and lived a better life. Life free of rats and roaches. Free of having to hand wash dishes and glasses. Free and sipping on wine in front of a fireplace. Free to be with Hale somewhere. She doesn't even know where he is. The Dal had plenty of rooms to sleep in. If it was still Trick's. But that land is Aife's now. Her property.

Aife, Albert and Stephen.

"She was thrown out on her ass." Aife laughed into her whiskey glass.

"Is this all you are going to do with your life?." Albert asked. Stephen had been wondering about that too but felt like he wasn't in a position to ask.

"Of course not ole boy. I have granddaughters to help raise. To protect so Lauren and Bo won't have to work so hard doing so themselves." Aife turned serious.

"I will give it less than a year before those girls know how to protect themselves. They are aging rapidly in their minds. When they're bodies catch up, watch out." Albert smiled with pride.

"Exactly but until then, I will have a little fun with Kenzi. It's about my mother more than anything. She stole something meant for royalty. Not stealing ass peasants like herself." Aife poured herself another drink. "I could send her to Berlin. Those bitches would kill her in a matter of days. I don't want her dead. Just haunted and tortured until I grow bored of doing that. I highly doubt that will be anytime soon." She laughed.

"Those are my nieces. Lauren dreamed of kids as a child. We both did. She wanted a boy and a girl. But looks wonderful as a mother to two daughters. Someday she will still itch for that boy. Or a few boys. Aife's not wrong in her pursuit to protect our families at all costs. So, I too will use everything in my powers to secure their safety." Stephen ate some food while the other two drank. Sure, he's Fae now but still longs for human food.

"We will all do that. Day and night. That's our job." Albert smiled. He still struggles to believe he's a great-grandfather but he likes it.

"Nobody is forcing Kenzi to stay in this colony. Isabeau all but gave her her freedom back. Let's see how she fucks that up this time." Aife laughed.

"She knows about the Fae world. Would she sell that secret to humans?." Stephen asked.

"Not without pissing Bo off. She's an idiot but that would be very dumb. She opens her mouth and my babies would be in danger. Their mothers won't like that at all. I wouldn't like that." Aife turned to make herself a plate of food. She can't live on liquor alone. Besides she hasn't fed in days. "I'll need to leave you soon. I will need to feed, the other way."

"Sure, you are always welcome here. You know that." Albert smiled. He almost felt bad for the Succubus. Feeding as a Succubus isn't always easy. He won't stop to think about how Bo and Lauren feed. It's something a grandfather shouldn't know or ever, ever witness. He shrugged thinking about it.

"She'll be okay, grandfather." Stephen patted the man's back when Aife walked out of their house.

"Of course, she will. She's just Aife." Albert laughed. He gestured towards the game room and they have plenty to keep them busy.

The next morning.

Bo woke up in strong arms. She settled in again. They had made love for hours and she wasn't getting tired. It was the doctor that suggested they try to rest because their daughters won't sleep day and night just so mama and mama can play in bed.

Bo never plays with her affections for Lauren. Every kiss and touch is soft and meaningful. Every conversation has deep intentions. They are mothers now. Their kids were conceived and born in love. She looked at Lauren's fingers. A Doctor's hand. A doctor-witch-succubus. Lauren was born to be smart and successful. Had their paths not crossed, Bo wouldn't be enjoying the spoils that she gets from the woman's talents. Her genius. Before she knew she was Fae, the Fae found something worthy in her. Even though they shitted all over it.

She wanted to get angry about Trick again. But he's gone and they have much better lives now. Lives with people they can trust. People that can trust them. Their kids have two homes they can play in. Stay in. But this is their rightful home. Lauren is that same home for Bo. Right where she is.

The blonde stretched and Bo gently eased back so she could have more room. "Do you think they are up yet? Lauren asked.

"I don't hear anything on the baby monitors." Bo turned her head in that direction.

"I meant Aife. It's time they all babysat. I want our kids to be used to them. Get to know them. I don't want them growing up thinking they are less than they are. That they don't have a family out there somewhere. It's how I was raised and I don't want that for them". Lauren explained.

"Get showered and dressed, babe. We'll take them right over there." Bo ran to shower in the other bathroom. Showering with Lauren would take more than ten minutes.

The women packed up the babies and drove the short distance. It was almost noon by now so they knew the trio would be home. The doors opened and three sets of eyes widened. "Hello!". Bo smiled. "We want you guys to babysit. Take the kids for the afternoon so they can start to get to know you. So they won't be cut out of your lives like Lauren and Stephen were to their grandfather."

"Of course!". Aife smiled. She and Albert grabbed a baby and carried them inside.

"Everything you need is in these bags. Toodles". Lauren smiled and pulled Bo out of the house.

"So, what will we do?." Bo jumped inside the jeep.

"We will go for a nice long drive. Eat some lunch. Listen to music. Let our hair down!." Lauren smiled with glee as she started the vehicle.

They held hands. They played loud music. They drove around the colony. They made out at every stop light. They walked long trails and back again.

"This was such a great idea, Lauren". Bo moaned as she licked her popsicle.

"It is. Fresh air. Just the two of us." Lauren squeezed Bo's hand.

"We really should have lunch. Junk food isn't always good for us." Bo looked around. "That will do." She smiled.

They walked inside a swanky looking restaurant. Lauren smiled at Bo's choice. It's healthy but not healthy. They were seated and Bo pushed back in her seat. She smiled at everything. The waiters. The other customers. The smell of the food they were eating. They each excused themselves so they could freshen up.

Bo stared in the mirror during her turn. She didn't recognize the woman she saw looking back at her. This woman looks happy and content. Years on the run as a monster. A murdering monster that didn't deserve the life she is leading now. But as Lauren said Bo's created a beautiful life. She washed her hands and returned to her mate. They aren't wives but there's no reason she can't consider Lauren her mate. She smiled when she sat down to her food in front of her. Lauren being Lauren, waited for Bo to return before she dug into her plate. Bo closed her eyes after her first bite. Finally someone besides Lauren that knows how to cook her steak as ordered.

"Movie after this?." Lauren suggested.

Bo pondered it for a few seconds and then declined. As nice as their afternoon has been, she's ready to be a mother again. "Another day my sweet, I promise." She reached over and squeezed Lauren's hand.

"Okay." Lauren bowed her head to her plate and dug in again.

"Cancel that. We can go. You need it more than I do." Bo felt a wave of guilt fall over her. It gave her goosebumps. thinking she'd let the woman down.

"Are you sure, we don't have to." Lauren raised her head.

"We are mothers now. I have to take your wants and needs into consideration too. We're going to the movies and whatever else you want to do away from home." Bo smiled.

"I just want a lot of time with you. I love our girls, but this is our time. Time we may not always get." Lauren replied as she took a drink.

"We will as long as we have those three. They will always want to babysit. Even when the kids are grown, they will want to spend time with them. We've pretty much built a small, small army." Bo noted.

Lauren knows Bo is right. They are not just mothers. They have family to back them up when the crowns of motherhood gets too heavy.

They chatted the rest of the dinner. They learned things about each other that they hadn't known yet. They toasted their day and topped off the meal with a sweet dessert.

Bo sighed as they stepped out into the late afternoon air. "Bo?." A voice came behind her.

The Succubus turned around and Kenzi was a few feet away from her. "Kenzi. I'm glad mom arranged to have you released."

"That's it Bo? That's all you have to say?!." Kenzi screamed.

Lauren stepped out and immediately spotted the girl. "Lauren. How nice to see you." Kenzi half smiled. She should have known Lauren wasn't far behind. Bo wouldn't eat here, alone.

"Wow, Kenzi. It almost sounded like you meant that." Lauren stepped closer to Bo. She knows what an upset Succubus could mean. Especially this close to home.

"Let's cut the bullshit. Why did you leave me in there Bo? I missed out on you giving birth, your kids and everything!." Kenzi snapped.

Bo heard a growl and knew it wasn't hers. "Don't you ever mention my kids like that again. A human prison would seem like a vacation compared to what happens to you." Lauren stepped towards Kenzi, but Bo gently pulled her back.

"You stole, Kenzi. That's why you were in there. I warned you years ago about that. You stole from the wrong people this time! As far as my kids go, you stole from them too. You stole a piece of their heritage. As much as I hoped and wished you had grown up, I cannot forget about them. You will have no chance to be in their lives. I won't allow it, and they won't allow it either." Bo spoke up as she squeezed Lauren's hand.

The women circled each other like they were about to come to blows. Bo and Lauren kept in mind that if they lose control their succubus won't hesitate to harm Kenzi. Not where their children are concerned. Bo was more worried about Lauren. She's a witch and a Succubus. Something that is never far from their minds.

"I get that you always wanted a normal life but I thought I would be a part of it. I am not from a royal family. You know my childhood was shitty. I didn't grow up to almost being a rocket scientist like Lauren. Nobody was going to give me a degree in anything. So, I allowed the streets to teach me. To teach me to fend for myself. Until I discovered the Fae world and Bo. Bo was my ticket to a better life. Protection. A life to do whatever I want and not have to worry about someone stabbing me in the back. But this, this is betrayal. You went into your Dawning. When you came back out, you all but forgot me. You forgot the nights that I held you when you were crying over Lauren. Over Dyson. Over Trick. Over everything that broke your heart. You broke mine leaving me in rat shit prison. You left me, Bo". Kenzi cried.

Lauren almost felt sorry for Kenzi. She had all the opportunities and potential in the world and yet she hangs her misgivings on the blonde and the succubus. She refuses to try and get a job and provide for herself. There are countless homes in the colony that Kenzi could be living in but she sounds like she still wants to live with Bo. No. Not with children at home. Their children.

"Kenzi, you are a smart girl. You just do dumb shit. I won't be responsible for the aftermath of your screw ups. I have a family now. I can't afford to run the streets pissing off the wrong people. If you keep your mouth shut, nobody will be the wiser that you even know about the Fae. Which is something else we need to discuss. If you ever mention the Fae to the humans, you will be putting my daughters in harm's way. There is no way you will live to see another day, should that happen. It's not a threat. It's a promise. I wish you well Kenzi, I really do. I wish you well enough away from me. Perhaps weeks, months or years from now you will have grown up and I can introduce you to them. But I won't bet their lives on you." Bo backed up and started to pull Lauren with her.

"Bo!." Kenzi screamed.

Bo turned around and her eyes went wide. The ground beneath Kenzi's feet looked like it was catching fire.

"Concrete can't do that". Lauren spoke up.

"But we know who can. Let's go!." Bo jumped into the driver's seat and Lauren used her witch to cool the ground as they sped off.

"Our kids." Bo squeezed Lauren's hand. She wasn't about to tell Kenzi about that part of their powers. She can't trust her with such powerful Fae secrets.
