A letter arrives at the temporary residence of the officers of the Station, and Woo Hoo picks it up to read through it. The letter is from the World Crime League, and invites the officers to help send a message to the Order. Woo Hoo narrows his eyes, but since he has no personal grudge against the WCL, he goes to the other officers to see if they're up for the task. Before he leaves, though, he realizes that his name was on the letter, meaning that his identity is probably not as well hidden as he thought, and that the other officers most likely have simply not mentioned it to be polite. Just in case, Woo Hoo writes over the name on his name tag to read "Who Woo", to avoid any potential controversy. Woo Hoo confronts the other officers, and after some discussion, ends up with a squad consisting of himself, Wanted Woo, Dr. Woo, and Wheel Woo, as well as the Water Robit, which Woo Hoo is bringing himself to substitute for his Stand.

While the officers are on their way, Cybr finishes up the work he was doing on El Diablo's computer, and types in a single command.

activate

After inputting the command, a pixelated face appears on the computer, and a light turns on to indicate that the webcam is now active.

"Eh? What's all this about?" El Diablo asks.

"Oh, you know. Just bringing you back from the grave." Cybr says calmly. "I'm going to enable your Stand functionality now, to make sure everything is working properly. Use this rat to test it."

Cybr procures a rat, and a computerized version of Ikari Wa Shūryō Shimasu emerges from El Diablo, before punching the innocent rat and putting it into a vegetative state, its chains of fate appearing as usual.

"Wonderful. In your new state, you won't exactly be able to move around, but you should be able to operate as the leader of the League once more."

"The Order still causing trouble?"

"Mm? How did you know?"

"Heh. Those persistent rascals. They won't let up until they've exhausted all of their resources, or all of their targets." El Diablo chuckles.

"Well, I've got a plan to go after their biggest eliminator. Just waiting for some cops to show up to help with the job."

"You gonna bring me along, too?"

"No, sorry. You're too valuable of a resource to bring on a mission like this, at least while you still aren't used to your new form. Hang on, I think I see them outside."

Cybr walks away, leaving El Diablo alone as he heads outside to greet the officers. Woo Hoo waves at Cybr, and crosses his arms.

"So what's our plan here?"

"Well, first things first, I'm gonna try to find our target. I can trace the signal of their radio pretty easily, and even if they dumped it somewhere, it's bound to be a place where they have an ambush planned."

Cybr hones in on the signal from Crowbarre's radio, and hears some ambient sounds that seem to indicate the device being in some kind of jungle.

"Hm...you wouldn't happen to know of any jungles in the area, would you?" Cybr asks, somewhat perplexed.

"The only place I know of in the area is the Shamazon Painforest. It's a restricted nature preserve in the middle of the city. You're only allowed to go there if you work there."

"And I take it you know how to get there?"

"Oh, I do! I pass that place all the time!" Wheel Woo chimes in.

"Good to hear. Let's take the Vengabus. It should be easy enough for you to drive." Cybr says, and the group all exchange a glance, before getting aboard the bus to begin the journey to the Painforest.

Meanwhile, foul play kicks open the door to the Beaten Meat, stomping towards Meatsmith.

"What the hell did you guys do to my stash?!" foul play demands.

"...Who are you?" Meatsmith stares blankly back at foul play.

"For fuck's sake, I'm here practically every day!"

"Hi here practically every day, I'm Dad!" says Dad.

"Shove it, dad." foul play scoffs.

"Sorry, I've been out for a bit. Maybe you're a frequent customer only in recent times." Meatsmith admits.

"Well, can you get the other guy in here, then?"

"I can call him up." Meatsmith says, dialing up Beatsmith. Beatsmith shows up in around ten minutes, and is immediately interrogated by foul play.

"Were you the one that moved my stuff?"

"I didn't touch any meat I wasn't told to."

"It wasn't meat, it was just a box of cool stuff I left under the fire escape out back."

"Didn't touch anything back there, either." Beatsmith shrugs, and foul play angrily knocks over three and a half stools before storming out of the restaurant, just in time for the Vengabus to pass by on its way to the jungle.

"So, as I'm sure you all know…" Wheel Woo begins.

"Hi sure you all know, I'm Dad!"

"Thank you, Dad. As I was saying. The Shamazon Painforest is a very dangerous place, even if we weren't breaking in and at high risk of being ambushed. The wildlife there is known to be uniquely violent towards people who aren't specially trained to deal with it. Not to mention the harsh terrain and poisonous plants and the like."

"So how do we get in?" Cybr says dismissively, clearly not caring about Wheel Woo's words of caution.

"Well, there's a checkpoint up front, but it's probably going to be guarded."

"And that's a problem why?"

"...I guess you're right." Wheel Woo sighs, parking outside the checkpoint. There only seems to be one guard on duty, and he holds out a hand as the group approaches.

"Hold it! This place isn't open to the public. May I see your guest pass?" the guard, whose name tag reads "Paalgae", asks, beckoning for the group to provide the passes in question.

"We don't need a guest pass." Cybr says, and Paalgae falters, backing off.

"Okay, okay, jeez...enjoy your visit…"

Cybr snickers, and leads the way in, with Woo Hoo, Dr. Woo, and Wanted Woo close behind. Once they're in, though, they hear the gates slamming shut behind them, and turn around to see Paalgae cracking his neck and knuckles, before pulling out a familiar Order communication device.

"This is Flowerbud. I've got them cornered in the Painforest. Over and out." Paalgae says, before pointing at the group. "So tell me, is the grass greener on the other side?"

"Really? Are you actually even gonna try this?" Cybr says, watching Paalgae's movements. Cybr nods to Woo Hoo to spray Paalgae before he can try anything, but before Woo Hoo can even aim the hose, Paalgae suddenly swings his arms forwards, and a blast of particles sprays out in front of him.

"This is where I introduce you to Bloom! The seeds I sow will root you in place, and from there it's only a matter of time until the fight is done!"

Sure enough, upon coming into contact with Cybr and the officers, the small seeds sent out by Paalgae sprout into tangled roots, ensnaring the group in seconds.

"HAHA! I got you! Now all I need to do is-" Before Paalgae can finish, he notices a movement up in the trees, and glances up at it. This lapse in attention gives Woo Hoo enough time to wriggle around until he's able to press the button to mist the surroundings with the Water Robit, causing the roots to disintegrate. Paalgae sees this, and panics, realizing his main method of attack has just been shut down. He pulls his communication device back out.

"Uh, Flowerbud again, scratch my previous message, it was a false alarm! Over and out!" With this, Paalgae frantically scrambles over the wall of the jungle, running away from the group.

"What a baby." Cybr rolls his eyes, before preparing to head deeper into the Painforest.
