Bo and Lauren

"This can't be normal, Lauren". Bo panted as she drove them back to Albert and Stephen's home.

"It's not. It could be nothing. But, we need to know." Lauren gently patted Bo's knee.

The roads were normal in the brunette's eyes. But her mind was already home. Each baby cradled in her arms. Her eyes flashing blue. All of it. She is too close to the life she always dreamed of for it to blow up into something bad. But when Lauren tapped her knee again, she started to breathe normally. As normal as a Succubus breathes. She smiled realizing she's worried about two baby Succubus. She didn't remember being a baby. That would be impossible to do. So, she has no idea what's going on with their girls, but like Lauren said, they need to know.

Lauren watched the road and Bo respectively. She knows how Bo thinks. It is a lot like how Lauren thinks. Always worried about the next shoe dropping. But it is good to think like that at times because they can protect Kara and Isadora better. But if what they are predicting is true, the girls can already protect their mothers and themselves too. No book in Lauren's arsenal of libraries can help with this. This is something the genius doctor will have to learn about by being a mother.

"Lauren, we're here". Bo whispered. "Are you ready?". The brunette squeezed the woman's hand.

"Yes! Let's go!". Lauren jumped out of the car and the women ran up the staircase.

"What's going on?!". Bo smiled wide.

"Shhh, we just put them down for a nap". Aife put her finger over her lips.

"I'll ask again, what's going on?". Bo looked like a crest kid showing all of her teeth.

"They were amped for a few minutes but settled down". Aife pulled the women to the nursery so they could see for themselves that their daughters are well.

Bo sighed gently and squeezed Lauren's hand again. "Can we?".

"Yes, we can". Lauren pulled on the woman and Aife followed them out of the room and downstairs.

"What's up?". Stephen asked.

"We're going to have to do something weird". Lauren took a seat after grabbing a notepad.

The four stood watching the doctor write something down.

"What happened?". Lauren held the pad up and Aife grabbed it to write an answer.

Bo paced back and forth waiting for her to finish. "Bo, you can't be doing that. They will sense your stress". Lauren spoke gently.

"Oh, right". Bo smiled again and took a seat.

"What time?". Lauren wrote.

Aife smiled and answered that question too. "Okay?". She asked setting the notepad back down.

Lauren wrote about their afternoon outing and set the notepad down for everyone to read.

"Well, that is a problem". Aife's smile matched Bo's.

"Lauren and I should probably talk." Bo looked around the small group.

"No matter where Bo and I go, or what we say, they will pick up on our energies. Our emotions." Lauren noted for the group.

"But our bad emotions, right?". Bo smiled at the blonde.

"I don't know. We've only seen a few instances. What we saw today, well that was dangerous". Lauren took a seat and the others followed her lead.

"It was bad, you guys. Concrete caught on fire". Bo explained.

"That's not good. What are we going to do about this? Besides keep Kenzi away?". Stephen asked.

"Well, according to my watch and what Aife said, they were distressed at the same time we were talking to Kenzi". Lauren looked down at the notepad.

"Damn, my babies!". Aife pumped her fists with pride.

"Can the girls stay here for a little while longer? Lauren and I need to talk." Bo stood up.

"You never have to ask. We stocked up on everything you ladies keep at home. We're good". Albert stood.

"We won't be long". Bo spoke as she walked up to the nursery with Lauren hot on her heels. "Mama will be back soon. I love you". She gently kissed Kara and Dora and waited for Lauren to take her turn.

"It'll be okay". Lauren rubbed the woman's back when a single tear fell from her eyes.

The women walked out but not before getting hugs from the gang.

Lauren jumped into the driver's seat. She pulled away and drove for hours before finally pulling over. "Come on".

Bo nodded and climbed out of the car. Lauren dropped a blanket on the grass and waited for Bo to join her.

"There's something. What is it?". Lauren asked.

"Are you really happy with me, Lauren?". Bo asked.

Lauren frowned at the question but answered it immediately. "Ecstatically".

"Then it must be me, then". Bo looked up and blew a breath out.

"There's nothing wrong with you, Bo. Unless you're unhappy with me?". Lauren played with Bo's hand. The brunette gently pulled it away and pulled Lauren to her.

"No. I am beyond happy with you. We have a family. I have three sets of you to love and play with. It's not us. But it must be me". Bo squeezed Lauren and held her. She rested her head on the blonde's shoulder and breathed in her scent.

"This happened to Kenzi. It happened because we were fighting with her. Now, I am not saying we should allow her back into our lives because I don't trust her. Just when I was starting to, the Dawning and the rest of this happened. I don't know how we fix this. But it needs to be fixed. We can't keep from seeing Kenzi in public but we can take measures to make things easier on the twins". Lauren spoke against dark locks.

"I need to see Kenzi, alone". Bo pulled back.

"Bo. That's not a good idea right now. We should let things settle down. Let Kenzi settle down. If you go to her now, she will be highly upset. She's likely in some medical bay being treated for burned feet. She will be irritated, as she should be with that diagnosis". Lauren replied.

"Find out where she is, Doctor, and I will go see her". Bo replied as she watched Lauren pull her phone out and make some calls.

"Got it". Lauren hung up. "Bo, you have to be careful. I will get you in to see her, privately, but you must stay calm. They are not only babies, but they are powerful Succubus babies. We need to give them time to grow up so they can control their powers".

"I'll do my best. It will help that you are going with me". Bo replied as they stood to fold the blanket.

They drove a short distance and Bo took some deep breaths. "You'll be okay".

Bo nodded and climbed out of the car. Thanks to Lauren's name and credentials, they were immediately taken to see Kenzi. Lauren stopped at a door leading to a private doctor's lounge, and kissed Bo's forehead. The brunette squeezed her and let go. Lauren walked in and made herself comfortable.

"She's in there, and awake". A nurse pointed Bo towards Kenzi's room.

Bo lightly tapped on the door and peeked her head inside. Kenzi rolled her eyes but couldn't do much about it. "If I could move, I would run off on you!".

"Kenzi, we need to talk. Really talk". Bo spoke softly. She remembered her daughters and her mate. They were all counting on her to do the right thing here. It would be so easy for her to let bygones be bygones. But she has a full blown family to consider here.

"Why? So you can run off again?". Kenzi shook her head. She wanted to run off herself but her feet were tightly bandaged after her treatment.

"Kenzi, you did a bad thing. A very bad thing. You stole from my family. You stole something that will matter to my daughters. We can't forget that. You did something so easily when you could have just as easily come to me, like an adult. Not a thief". Bo spoke softly. She squeezed the hand Lauren last held as a reminder to stay calm.

"You have this big family and I had, have nothing. I went to prison. I was released and back to nothing. You live in a huge ass mansion and I can't even afford a cardboard box to sleep in". Kenzi snapped. She pushed the button to self inject herself with more medicine.

"I am here to help you get back on your feet. But understand this isn't a payoff. It's not an invitation for you to come and live with us. My daughters are still babies and I won't have bad energy around them. Or in our bodies. When we spoke last, and the ground caught on fire, that was them. Nobody outside of the family knows. If that gets out, it will only have come from your mouth. Lauren has a few friends here that can make your stay as comfortable as possible. After that, you will be escorted to a single room home. That's big enough for you for now. We will pay the first two months rent, but other than that, you are on your own. Whenever I feel you have grown up enough, I may let them meet you, or you may meet them when they are much older. They are that powerful. Leave my family alone and we will stay away from you. Should you see us on the street, don't approach us. Give us time to let our girls grow and maybe by then things will be better.

I'm a mother now, I can't trust you with them right now. They are still babies and you would probably pawn them for money. That's how lowly I trust you right now. I'm sorry about your feet, I really am but I have a family and mate waiting on me. Depending on me. I must go". Bo walked out and never looked back. The longer she stayed the more Kenzi would come up with what if this, what if that. The Fae still remember Bo's relationship with the woman. She won't be touched but her actions could set the twins off. They could end up killing Kenzi, everyone and everything around her.

Kenzi watched the door close and closed her eyes. She pushed the button again and laid back. Sleep would be more welcoming than Bo just was.

Bo stood and took some deep breaths before she went to get Lauren. She noted Kenzi never apologized for her actions, only about her punishment being locked away. She shook the conversation off and knocked on the lounge door.

"Already?". Lauren was eating popcorn and drinking wine.

"Yeah, you know if I stayed longer, the conversation would never end." Bo grabbed a few morsels and popped them into her mouth.

"Okay". Lauren finished the wine and set the glass in the small sink.

Bo smiled as she watched Lauren walk around the lounge cleaning up everything. The woman can never not help herself. "I'm ready". The blonde had washed and dried her hands.

The women walked hand in hand down to the car and Lauren let Bo drive them home. She settled into her seat and they were off.

"What did you talk about?". Lauren asked.

"I told her we would set her up in a house big enough for her, pay two months rent but then after that, she's on her own. I also told her that she is to stay away from us. Even if she passes us on the streets, she's not to engage with us. The kids are too small to understand that using their far away succubus powers could and can be dangerous." Bo drove as fast as she could. Speaking of their daughters so much made her ache to hold them.

"I have never heard of this Bo. I mean we know what you can do, but other succubus can't do that. They can't start fires and hurt people from far off distances. You know I will do some research. I will get their blood from the hospital and analyze it myself". Lauren looked at Bo. The woman never not looked gorgeous.

"Do that, but don't inject them to get it. They'd cry again and oooo wee, we had enough of that lately". Bo laughed.

Lauren laughed too and finally turned to watch the road. The mood in the car had changed and there was no need to try and bring it back.

The women finally pulled up and climbed out of the car. When they went inside it was obvious things had really picked up.

"Mom?!". Bo screamed as they walked through the house.

"Out there". Lauren pulled at Bo.

"Oh man, that looks like fun!". Bo smiled as they walked into the backyard. There were inflatable couches in the yard and a huge tv in the center.

"Where are the babies?". Lauren looked around and laughed when she found them.

"I hope my crib had been like that". Bo laughed as they stood watching the kids kick and raise their little arms in glee. They were in a crib with the tv mounted securely above them. They had little headsets on, so they were missing the loud music that was blaring from the house.

"We thought a little party would liven things up. The kids are protected from the bugs of nature and our music. We are going to grill some steaks later but for now, enjoy ladies!". Aife danced as she walked around the yard. They didn't invite the neighbors, thankfully because of the kids' latest stunts.

"Let's go!". Lauren smiled as she danced around the yard too. Bo laughed and joined them. Stephen and Albert were getting the grill and supplies set up. Nature was cooperating with a beautiful sky.

Hours rolled by and the gang were resting comfortably with food, drinks and a soon to be starting movie.

"I'm going to put them in the house before we start the movie". Bo stood and was pulled back down.

"They are fine here. We have the monitors, we can see them. We can take our minds off of our worries, seeing them so happy and enjoying themselves". Lauren cooed into Bo's ears. The Succubus was always mush in Lauren's arms. But she's right, they don't need to put the kids in the house, just yet. The weather is still nice and they have nets covering them so bees and other flying creatures can't get to them.

"Uncle Stephen was on it". Stephen smiled as he passed the crib.

"Thank you Stephen. Thank all of you for this". Bo smiled as they all turned at the sound of her voice.

"No thanks are needed". Stephen smiled down at Bo and walked to find his own couch to rest on.

"He's going to be a heartbreaker some day". Bo laughed.

"Bo! That's my brother!". Lauren laughed playfully and slapped her arm.

"That's our family. I meant nothing sexual by it, doctor". Bo smiled and faked an injury to her arm. "But he's still going to be a heartbreaker".

Lauren laughed and turned to the kids. They were still kicking and smiling as they watched another movie. Aife had a stack of cartoon CDs sitting on a table. They had already gone through about four of them.

They watched a few movies of their own before the sun started to set. The women helped clean up the yard and kitchen before packing up the kids for home.

"This was nice". Bo smiled as they tucked the kids into their car seats. Sure they are Fae and the drive is not that far, but they aren't taking any chances with their safety. She smiled at each baby. Lauren stood watching. They had picked up a pattern of giving each other turns with this. They had both grown up in families where the mother did the car seat thing. Well for Lauren, her mother wasn't always this hands on but she remembers when she was. She climbed into the car after Bo finished with the girls.

"We are dopes". Bo laughed.

"No. We are mothers". Lauren smiled.

"I love you, Lauren". Bo smiled as she shook the Doctor's hand.

"I love you too, Bo". Lauren shook back.

Bo drove fast but slowly. She pulled up and parked. She stood watching Lauren while she took the kids out of their car seats and placed them in their carriers. The women slowly walked up the stairs and into their house.

"Ahhh. Home". Bo smiled as the scents of a clean house hit her nostrils.

The mothers bathed the kids, then themselves and then cuddled up in bed. "That was a day". Lauren smiled as Bo laid her head down on her chest.

"It was a much needed day. Thank you for pushing me with Kenzi. That needed to be said and it was brutal. But I did tell her about us helping her. But we won't over help her. She knows what a job is, once she heals, she can go out and get one". Bo nestled deeper into Lauren's body.

"Her wounds aren't that severe, if she follows her Doctor's orders, she will be up and ready to go soon". Lauren played with Bo's hair.

"Thank you for helping me get in to see her. Being with a Doctor has its perks". Bo cooed and squeezed the woman.

"It's nothing". Lauren smiled.

"No but they are something". Bo's eye flashed as she stared at Lauren's chest.

"Bo!". Lauren laughed.

"Hey, the kids don't like us being stressed, lets see how they like us happy. Extremely happy". Bo pulled the blonde up and removed her nightgown.

Lauren pulled at Bo. She ripped her nightie off and the succubus moaned at the touch. They both looked like they were on fire when they touched next. Lauren's eyes flared blue and she pinned Bo to the bed.
