Gruper Cheero wakes up to a splash of water in his face, and finds himself alone on the sidewalk with Wee Woo and Wanted Woo, who are now ready to properly interrogate the trespasser. Wee Woo puts the water bucket down and stands up, making sure to block off Gruper from any attempt to run away.
"Alright, my friend here has some questions for you about what happened back there in the jungle." Wee Woo says, before allowing for Wanted Woo to speak.
"Yeah, I wanted to know if you saw the person who left behind that device that you had." Wanted Woo says, leaning in closer to Gruper, who begins trembling in place.
"D-device? Oh, th-that thing…I…I already gave it back to you, what m-more do you want?" Gruper gulps, averting his eyes.
"Damn it, you're dodging the question!" Wee Woo shouts, cracking his knuckles. "How did you find it?! Did somebody throw it away?"
"Eek! Um, n-now that you mention it, there m-may have been someone…w-wait, no, two people! Yeah, th-that's it! Two people, they were talking a bit, and then one of them threw away the device and I snatched it up once they were gone! Th-that's all I know, so leave me alone!"
Wanted Woo and Wee Woo exchange glances.
"One more question, what do you know about the Order of the Censor?" Wee Woo asks, as Gruper stares on, wide-eyed.
"The what? Is that who those people w-were? I don't know anything about them, I swear!" Gruper pleads, and Wee Woo steps aside.
"You're free to go with a warning, but if you're ever caught in the Painforest again, there will be big consequences." Wee Woo declares. As soon as Wee Woo is done talking, Gruper runs away,
A few hours later, once darkness has fallen over Costa Brava, a garbage truck makes its usual rounds, picking up the trash from within a dumpster outside of the Shamazon Painforest, completely oblivious to the fact that Gruper Cheero's dead body lay among the garbage, with no visible external wounds or cause of death. The body is unceremoniously dumped in the truck with the rest of the trash, as the garbage truck drives off to the local landfill to deposit its contents.
At around this same time, Wash Woo finally arrives at the World Crime League headquarters, and pulls Prinjle's body into a body bag, before mopping up the long-dried blood from the scene of the death. After this grueling task is complete, Wash Woo heads off to the same local landfill to deposit Prinjle's body, arriving at this destination at a much faster rate than is usual for him since he does not want to be caught driving with a dead body again.
Outside of this landfill, Jonnnny and Indy are wandering the streets in search of excitement and activity.
"Hey, Indy, you know of any sorts of events going on around here? Like, actual good ones, unlike that square dance festival." Jonnnny says, stopping to untie his shoe.
"Uh, I dunno, where even are we right now? I lost track after the eighth left turn in a row." Indy pulls up his map, and sees that they have not in fact left the city of Costa Brava. "Well, it doesn't look like much is happening around town right now, but some restaurant called the 'Beaten Meat Deli' seems to have a lot of positive reviews lately, and it should be open at this hour."
"Oh boy, we should go there, maybe they have something good!"
"Alright, I'll lead the way!" Indy declares, and after a screen transition of a garbage truck crossing in front of the camera, the pilgrimage to the deli is complete, with Meatsmith finishing the cleaning after the Red-Ant's visit. When the two enter the building, Meatsmith offers them a children's menu, and takes them to a table.
"Wow, Indy, look at that! Everything on the menu is free! That's just within our budget!"
"Oh, that's cool! Wonder how this place makes money?"
"Hmmmm…" Jonnnny squints at the kid's menu, which is just two pages, one saying chicken, the other saying beef. After Meatsmith comes over, Jonnnny smirks, ready to place his order.
"So, what will it be for you two?" Meatsmith asks.
"Got any…Cheef?" Jonnnny asks with a grin.
"Sure, and you?" Meatsmith writes down Jonnnny's order, causing him to make an expression of shock, before frowning as Meatsmith turns to Indy.
"I'll take what he's having." Indy says, only placing an order for the sake of being polite, since his cyborg body does not require sustenance. As Meatsmith heads into the back, Jonnnny strikes up further conversation with Indy.
"Hey Indy, you hear about that big explosion up north recently?"
"What? No, not at all. What was it?"
"I dunno, the news just said that there was this big explosion and all that was left behind was a giant crater! They don't even know what was there that exploded in the first place!"
"We should go and find it, that's probably way cooler than anything around here!" As Indy begins to use the wonderful world of the web to find information on this event, Meatsmith comes out of the back with two freshly beaten slabs of Cheef. Jonnnny starts eating while Indy continues looking for information, not really finding anything concrete about the whereabouts of the crater.
"Hey, I have an idea, let's just go and find it ourselves!" Indy eventually states. "It says that they saw a bus coming from the direction of the explosion, and the pictures here indicate that it's a local bus! How convenient! They must have a route that goes straight to that place!"
"Oh yeah? Well where's the bus then?"
"Some place called the World Crime League."
"Well, they've gotta have some cool stuff! Let's go!" Jonnnny and Indy head out, finding the World Crime League to be astonishingly close to the Beaten Meat Deli. Upon arrival, the two kids enter without knocking, encountering Mugsy in the lobby.
"Hey you, do you know when the next bus leaves for that crater place?" Indy asks.
"The bus? I don't know why you care, but it should be parked out front." Mugsy responds.
"But doesn't someone have to drive it?"
"Eh, yeah, but I think he's dead, so you'll have to ask someone else. Try the police."
"Okay, sure!" Indy dials up the Station, and Woo Hoo picks up on the other end.
"Hello, you've reached the temporary new location of the Station, this is Head Officer [REDACTED] speaking. What seems to be your emergency?"
"Some guy said you guys might be able to drive us to that crater place up north."
"What crater place? Wheel Woo, have you been to any craters recently?"
After a slight pause, Woo Hoo continues.
"I'm not entirely sure what you're going on about, but you can come over here and talk to our driver about it to see if he can help you." After saying this, Woo Hoo promptly hangs up, clearly having not intended for any further correspondence. Indy traces the call using his built in technology, and leads Jonnnny to the site where the officers from the Station are currently residing.
"Oh boy, we get to see a crater!" Jonnnny says as they draw nearer to the officers. "Which one of you is the driver?"
"That would be me." Wheel Woo says. "Are you the kids who just called asking about a crater?"
"Yeah, we really wanted to know if you could take us there, since it's pretty far away and neither of us can drive." Indy responds.
"Sorry kid, I'm a bit busy with more important things. I can't really help you right now." Wheel Woo says, taking a few moments to piece together context clues and figure out what Indy is referring to.
"Hi a bit busy with more important things, I'm interrupting!" says Dad.
"Ignore him." Wheel Woo insists.
"Aw man, how will we get there now?" says Jonnnny, kicking the ground in disappointment.
"Wait, didn't Cop E. Wright say something about being able to go places really fast?" Indy says, not thinking before speaking. Moments later, Cop E. Wright appears with a disgruntled expression.
"What did Paul do this time?" Cop groans, already prepared for a facepalm.
"Uh…" Indy begins, but Jonnnny interrupts him.
"He did something really bad this time, we need you to take us to the place where that big explosion happened!" Jonnnny says excitedly.
"Oh great. This damn kid. Alright, sure, just take my hands and I'll get you there, keep me out of this and figure out how to deal with these things on your own. I'm getting sick of stepping in all the time."
"Okey." says Ness Earthbound, who Jonnnny summoned specifically to say this. Once Indy and Jonnnny have taken Cop's hands, Cop uses Right Now to bring them to the former location of the Order's headquarters, before dropping the two off and flying away.
