Cybr turns his attention away from the mysterious cereal bowl and back towards El Diablo.
"So, how have those new legs been treating you?" Cybr asks.
"They work just fine, but I don't think I'll be going anywhere with them any time soon, especially not with the Order still so active." El Diablo responds.
"Sure. Just stick around on this floor and you should be safe enough. If you need to go down stairs for some reason, you can use the lifts I had installed. I'm going to head out and get some more resources to upgrade you." Cybr takes one last glance around the room to make sure everything is in place, and then heads downstairs to the ground level. Cybr claps his hands together to get the attention of the officers in the room.
"I have important business to attend to outside of this building. Who's going out with me?" Cybr asks.
"Ew, date with Cybr? Hard pass." a voice echoes from the basement, recognizable as belonging to Bunny's Shadow.
"Actually, that reminds me." Cybr peeks downstairs, and points at Bunny. "I have a job for you, too. It's almost as important as my own, and I'm trusting you to not mess it up."
"Uh, sure, I guess our poker game can hold off for a bit." Bunny says, as his shadow steals his chips while he's looking away. "What exactly did you have in mind?"
"Just take this, and follow me at a distance when I leave. I'm sure you can figure out what to do from there." Cybr hands a banana holder to Bunny, with a banana already present inside. "It will restock itself, so don't worry about wasting it."
"Gotcha." Bunny nods, and before Cybr can turn his attention back to the officers, he hears an unfamiliar series of hoots and hollers on the ground floor. He goes back upstairs and sees an intruder in the building jumping around yelling "WAHOO!" as the officers try and fail to get him under control.
"Who let this guy in?" Cybr asks in an exasperated tone.
"He showed up and said he was looking for the princess, and then you-know-who Woo let him in." Woo Hoo says, pointing at Worse Woo, who is currently spinning around in an office chair.
"IT'S-A ME, MAYRO!" the intruder shouts while jumping around. Eventually, he sets his sights on the stairs leading up, and hops onto the stair lift, beginning to ride it upwards. Cybr, not wanting to deal with this now, just fiddles with the lift controls on his remote to make it very slow in its ascent, trusting that this goofball of a man will remain seated until he reaches his destination.
"So, any takers to go on this excursion with me?" Cybr once again asks, and after a few seconds, Wanted Woo raises his hand.
"I'll go." Wanted Woo says, waving at the other cops as he heads outside with Cybr. Bunny trails behind both of them as promised, keeping his distance so as not to seem affiliated. Cybr remains silent during the journey, not saying anything about where he's actually going, even when Wanted Woo asks. After a few minutes, Wanted Woo just shuts up and awkwardly looks around while walking. The two pass by the Beaten Meat, which is currently advertising a special meat of the day made from banana rinds. foul play gives an ok sign to the two as they pass by, but neither acknowledges him. The streets become somewhat more crowded as the two approach the shopping district, and Cybr reaches the storefront that he's been looking for: Special Ed's, a place for all sorts of special needs devices for people of all ages. Cybr and Wanted Woo enter the establishment, and Bunny does not follow them inside, instead remaining on the street. Sure enough, just as Bunny had suspected, the vast majority of people roaming the streets are currently eating bananas, have banana peels on their person, or are otherwise indulging in the Costa Bravan holiday of Free Banana Day. With the banana holder in hand, Bunny walks up to each person he sees who doesn't currently have a banana with them. Most just take the banana without any prompting required, realizing themselves to be bananaless, and offering a quick 'thank you' in return for the fruit. However, one person in particular seems a little confused by Bunny's attempt at generosity, and doesn't immediately take the banana.
"Hey, it's Free Banana Day! Everyone around here knows you'd look like a fool if you passed up on this opportunity, but I've got you covered! Do you want a banana?" Bunny asks, offering one up to this stranger.
"Uh…sure, I guess if that's what everyone around here does, I'll take it." The person responds, snatching the fruit and beginning to eat it while Bunny walks away to hand out more bananas to those in need.
Inside of Special Ed's, Cybr and Wanted Woo are examining the wares, though Wanted Woo still doesn't really know what Cybr is looking for here. An employee by the name of Special Ned approaches the two, who are currently the only customers in here.
"May I take your hat, sir?" the employee asks.
"No, but you can help us with something else. Do you have one of those baby walker things, but for someone older?" Cybr asks.
"Oh yeah we got plenty of those! Let me just show you over to-" the employee starts heading towards the counter, but a loose tile seems to trip him up, causing him to fall forwards and split his head open on the counter. Cybr doesn't seem particularly concerned with this, but as the rest of the building begins to rumble, he grows suspicious that something greater may be at play here, and quickly escorts Wanted Woo out of the building, just in time to avoid being caught as the entire establishment collapses into a pile of rubble. When the dust clears, a figure steps forwards, tossing aside a banana peel and leering at Cybr with a fierce glare.
"Don't mind me, I just wanna take a good look at you before you're destroyed beyond recognition." Crowbarre says with a scowl. "Goodbye. I'll let Avenged Sevenfold take it from here."
With that, Crowbarre dashes away before Wanted Woo or Cybr can respond, and as Wanted Woo tries to pursue Crowbarre, the rubble of Special Ed's suddenly begins to rise into the air, the distinct apparition of a Stand visible among the wreckage as it hurtles towards Wanted Woo and Cybr. Wanted Woo quickly uses Caramelldansen to trap the pieces of rubble in a loop so they can't reach him or Cybr, but this only affects a small portion of the wreckage, which all seems to be out to kill the duo. Cybr curses to himself for not bringing the Water Robit along with him, but doesn't fret over it for too long, instead yelling at Wanted Woo to keep the rubble in check while he tries to deal with Crowbarre himself. Cybr runs forwards, past the rubble stuck in Caramelldansen's loop, in an attempt to get to Crowbarre before she gets too far away, but he doesn't get very far before a large mass of twisted brick and metal rises above him, before dropping down at high speed. Just before it can crush Cybr, the rubble stops in midair, caught in another loop caused by Caramelldansen.
"Just go, now!" Wanted Woo calls out as the rubble he had been looping before is freed, slamming straight into Wanted Woo's face and knocking him to the ground, before burying him under tons of debris. Cybr heeds Wanted Woo's advice, getting out from under the wreckage above him before it can be freed from Caramelldansen, narrowly avoiding being made into a pancake. Cybr spots Crowbarre holding some sort of device against a pay phone, and can make out the end of the conversation as he gets closer.
"I don't need to talk anymore. I found you." Crowbarre says, before hanging up the phone, glancing towards Cybr, and once again beginning to run away. Cybr puts the pieces together in his head, and realizes that Crowbarre must have somehow found the whereabouts of the WCL headquarters. He rushes to the pay phone and checks the device, finding it to be some kind of call analyzer, indicating that Crowbarre had dialed up the police in order to get in contact with the Station, and then tracked the location of the call on the other end to find where it came from. Before Cybr can continue to chase Crowbarre, more of the rubble drops down in front of him, taking the shape of a crude battleaxe, which attempts to cleave Cybr in two. Cybr steps aside, the axe smashing the pay phone instead, before twisting sideways and slamming into Cybr, sending him flying into the middle of the street. While Cybr is on the ground, numerous pieces of rubble surround him in the air, and launch towards him at high speed, covering enough area to make escape impossible. As Cybr runs through his options in his mind, he can't figure out any potential escape route, but tries anyway to quickly throw himself to the side enough to avoid being demolished. This proves to be a futile endeavor, as the rubble is still closing in on him, but at the last second, it begins to move back upwards, seemingly caught in a loop of falling and rising. Cybr looks over towards where the rubble came from, and spots a familiar police officer rushing towards him, though something seems to be different. Wanted Woo seems to be no more, but in his place, a relatively unharmed Weeb Woo has returned, and it seems that Avenged Sevenfold has no interest in pursuing Weeb Woo.
"Don't worry, civilian! I'll keep you safe from this enemy!" Weeb Woo exclaims. Cybr gets up, staring at Weeb Woo, and after a quick situational analysis, gesturing for him to come with him.
"Follow me, I have to find the person doing this, and I'll need you to protect me." Cybr says.
"Sure thing! Ensuring the safety of the citizens of Costa Brava is part of my job description, after all!" Weeb Woo says. Cybr begins to run towards the WCL headquarters building, with Weeb Woo using Caramelldansen to repeatedly stop whatever pieces of rubble attempt to skewer or smoosh Cybr. Eventually, as Cybr closes in on the WCL building, he notices Crowbarre nearby, having not yet reached her destination. In fact, she seems to be off in more ways than one, her movement having a sort of stagger to it and her eyes wildly glancing about at each and every building she passes.
"Something the matter, there?" Cybr taunts as he slows his pace, realizing the danger of the situation is mostly averted. "Feeling a little wobbly? Having trouble remembering why you came here?"
"Shut up, you!" Crowbarre snaps, spinning around and punching at the empty air in a completely different direction from where Cybr is.
"Number one eliminator, huh? I guess that was just a measure of brute strength, and not any actual indicator of prowess. You're no better than any of the grunts I've encountered before." Cybr smirks, knowing full well that his plan with Bunny worked out in his favor. Crowbarre starts to incoherently babble, clutching her head in frustration as the effects of Banana Man continue to escalate and manifest. "Though, I guess you did probably manage to tell your friends how to find us before I could catch up to you, which could be a problem going forwards. Not that it matters right now. I just need to figure out how to finish you off."
Cybr thinks for a few moments, and then pulls out the remote for the stair lift from his pocket and fiddles with it. Moments later, a yowling scream can be heard descending from above, as Mayro, still attached to the stair lift, comes hurtling through the sky at terminal velocity, crashing into Crowbarre like a meteor strike and causing both Crowbarre and Mayro to be slain on impact. The rubble animated by Avenged Sevenfold falls to the ground motionlessly, no longer needing to be contained by Caramelldansen's loop. Cybr looks back over to Weeb Woo.
"By the way, you might want to talk to your officer buddies, you missed a lot." Cybr says without elaboration, heading to the WCL building. Weeb Woo starts to head towards the former location of the Station, but Cybr shakes his head, gesturing for Weeb Woo to come along with him. Once he's inside the WCL building, Cybr promptly heads upstairs, leaving the other officers to deal with catching Weeb Woo up to speed with current affairs. A few hours later, Bunny also returns, exhausted after a long day of providing bananas to those in need. He drops off the banana holder at the base of the stairs, and then heads back into the basement to reunite with his poker buddies.
