Notes: Three months. Three months since I updated last. Honestly hate that feeling. I really do.

But Life just has a way of keeping you busy with something precious that you can't help but be happy. Being a father is such an experience while tiring, I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I want to thank you all for the patience for waiting for this to come.

After the chapter, have more to explain what happened with my schedule. Enjoy!

Stirring in her sleep, Katara hummed in satisfaction to the warmth she felt. Shifting her body, she sighed as an arm pulled her closer, smiling as her forehead pressed against Shoto's cheek. Slowly opening her eyes, she glanced at her boyfriend laying there peacefully, remembering how they were watching a movie late last night before both passed out. She pulled him in for a small hug as well, giggling as he hugged back in his sleep. She really had to admit she was surprised that despite how cold he started or quiet he was, he really did love physical contact all the time.

After a moment she moved aside, yawning and looking out to the light coming through the window. She crawled out of the bed and stared outside, watching as the sun barely crept over the horizon. Several days had passed since she returned from the Iida house for the holidays, and several days since she was offered by them to be more than just a guest in their home. An offer that brought a new closeness to Tenya and everyone else in his family. She couldn't help but smile that they truly did care for her to be included in their lives as well, feeling like she finally found the peace of mind here she needed.

Hearing the groan behind her, Katara smiled and turned back around, walking forward as he woke up. "Goodmorning." She said.

"Hmm…" Shoto muttered before his eyes widened, realizing where he was. "Katara? I fell…" his cheeks reddened slightly realizing what happened. "I… fell asleep in your room again. That really isn't supposed to happen here."

"I don't think Aizawa sensei is going to expel you for a little mistake," Katara sat back on the bed with him. "We just fell asleep. Don't worry."

Sighing, Shoto gave a small shrug. "I guess you're right. "He said, looking over and seeing the new necklace he gave her, still around her neck since he put it on. "It really does look like it belongs there."

"Huh?" she looked at him surprised by what he meant before seeing him smile, noticing where his eyes were aimed. "Oh," She chuckled and touched it, noticing how it felt different than the one she had all those years. "Even if it isn't the one from before, it feels right having something there. And knowing it was from you makes it more special."

"I'm glad you really like it." Shoto responded with a smile… although he couldn't hide the strange feeling inside of him, something she noticed right away.

"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked.

"It's nothing. Just… something in my dreams." Shoto mumbled and sat up. "It's no big deal."

"Shoto, one thing you aren't good at is lying." Katara told him. "It's not hard to see something's bugging you."

He sighed and clutched his hands together, looking down to the ground. "Are you sure you want this? After everything that's happened. Everything that… comes with me. Is it not too much?"

Katara's mouth fell open to his words before noticing the pained look on his face. Now she knew what he saw in his dream. "You're… thinking of your brother?"

Shoto gave a small nod. "I don't really remember what it was about. I just know I saw him somewhere in it. And now I just can't get that out of my head."

It had been sometime since his brother was mentioned, especially since the league of villains had been MIA for sometime. Katara however knew Touya was something that was going to confront them at some point, no matter how much she didn't want that for Shoto. Reaching out, she gripped his shoulder comforting him. "Nothing is too much to come between us. I told you you will not be alone through this. That's a promise. I know this is something painful for you, and I want to help you face this."

"The truth is, I actually am not in pain from having to face him," Shoto answered, squeezing his fists together. "What he has done is unforgivable and he must be stopped. What pains me is that he may try to hurt you once more just to get to me and my father again. And I won't let that happen."

"We won't let it happen." She reaffirmed him. "We will do this together and stop him this time."

Taking a deep breath, Shoto reached up and gripped her hand. "Thank you. With everything lately, it just felt… peaceful. And it just never came to mind about him since then, he just vanished."

"Then let's be ready for him whenever," Katara said, smiling, "We can always continue our training together after school. I mean… You did fail our last test."

Shoto gave a blank look at her sarcastic comment, her joke helping lighten the mood. "Actually, We passed as well. You and Midoriya just did a little better."

"A little?" Katara was surprised he threw sarcasm back, laughing to herself. "Wow, trying to take away my victory." Giving him a playful shove, she warmed up seeing him smile as well, glad to know she was there for him to make him feel safe. "We should get ready for school now. We can plan our training today."

Nodding, Shoto stood up from the bed. "I'll leave you to it. See you down in a bit."

Leaving her alone, Katara quickly took her sweater she wore off and began getting changed for the day, fixing her hair for a few minutes before she heard her phone vibrating. "Hmm?" she looked over and picked it up, surprised to see Izuku calling her. "Hey Midoriya, goodmorning." She answered.

"Hey Katara, goodmorning! Sorry I called so early. I should've made sure you were awake!" he quickly said, making her laugh.

"It's fine. I was already up. What's up?"

"Well… I couldn't really sleep last night. My mind was just going too crazy thinking about my new quirk I have now…" He explained, sighing, "And I went outside and began practicing it, and that's why I called you."

"Me?" She asked.

"Yeah… With the way you use your bending to pull yourself around, it's the perfect style for me to study. I was hoping you and Sero could help me train sometime with blackwhip."

Yawning as he picked up backpack, Bakugo rubbed his eyes and walked over to the door leaving his room. Grunting at not sleeping well, he grew annoyed they didn't have a weekend day to relax and sleep more. "Just another class to get through…" He muttered and opened up. As he did though, he was surprised to see a familiar redhead standing there, blushing as she was about to knock.

"Uh…" Kendo mumbled as she lowered her hand, her cheeks red and burning up. She just stared at him for several moments, unsure what to even say before he walked right by her. "Wh-where you going?"

"We got class, remember?" he growled out, leaving her mouth falling open in shock before she glared.

"Okay, no. You aren't just walking away!" She said as she stomped after him. "You suddenly just kiss me during the christmas and haven't said anything since then?!"

"You didn't say anything either…" Bakugo grumbled.

"I… really?!" She growled out in annoyance. "You can't just do something like that!"

"So you didn't like it?"

"No, I… I mean…" Kendo blushed harder and frowned. "That's not the point!"

"Then what's the point?" Bakugo grumbled out, pushing the elevator button. "If you didn't like it, you shouldn't have told grape boy you had to get one since you were under mistletoe."

Kendo's eye twitched in annoyance at his excuse, crossing her arms as she followed him in the elevator. "So you just used that as an excuse to do that? I bet you wouldn't have ever-

"Fine, do you want dinner sometime?!"

Both kendo and Bakugo froze at the words that came out of his mouth, the red head's face going red. "You… you just-

"Just shut up! Do you want to have dinner or not then?!" Bakugo barked out, gritting his teeth and looking away. The pair just sat silent as the door opened up, neither sure what was even happening. "Just… meet up later and quit bugging me, got it?!"

As Bakugo quickly walked off the lift and into the common area, Kendo had no idea what just happened. She didn't even have an answer…. But for some reason, she wasn't upset what just occurred. School has really been quite the adventure for all the students so far, and now this calm time was just crazy.

But every calm time… only lasts so long.

That evening - Hero safety Commission main office- Tokyo

Sitting in her office, the president of the commission frowned as she sat in front of the files that had been brought before her. Sitting across from Hawks, the information he had been gathering for the last several weeks made her heart rate increase. "Are you certain of all this?" She asked him.

Hawks leaned on his knees and gave a small nod. "As certain as I can be. It's the first confirmed thing I could find on them since last contact."

Turning to the pages below her, the commission president skimmed through the information gathered from her once undercover agent, having lost his contact with the league of villains over a month before. As the search for where they went continued, a single story that caught the attention of the number two hero stuck out to him; the incident in Deika City. Being so isolated, the area only has a small group of heroes who even go to the area, and a report of how the citizens helped fight off a villain attack just felt off. With nothing else to go off of, Hawks made his way to the city, only to find devastation and wreckage throughout.

"It was certainly not as small as the reports that came in from the heroes who worked there, meaning they were actually covering up what happened…" Hawks put together, having to have kept out of sight from those there. He only found out what information he had because he sent individual feathers throughout the city, getting close and catching whatever conversations he could without being seen. "It seems the League has returned, and now they aren't alone in strength."

Reading through the information, the president couldn't believe what he had discovered, an enemy that had been slowly growing for decades. She had heard of the Meta Liberation army for years, the group looking to create complete freedom for quirk use with no regulations. The dangerous ideology had never been stopped after the group formed so many years before, and now it seemed to be even worse than they ever imagined.

"And you are certain you caught conversations of the league being involved?" She asked.

"Oh yes. They were the ones in the midst of it. And what's worse is they've joined forces now." Hawks tapped his foot impatiently, frustrated he was learning of all this now. "If I had been in contact with them still, we could've figured this out earlier. Now we are playing catch up."

"What's done is done now, and we have to face what comes next…" The president muttered and dropped the pages. "Any word on where they are holding up in general?"

"Not yet, and I don't have full numbers of their group yet. But I do know it's in the high thousands." He quietly answered. "Practically every person in that city is part of that, with who knows how many across the country. I'll keep investigating more and try to get anything I can. But know this… whatever is happening, it's something big."

Clenching her hands together, the president pondered her thoughts for a few moments. "We can't begin telling other heroes about this yet. If any of them could be part of this group, they would alert them and the league we are onto them. We have to plan it so we are ready to move on a moment's notice all at once."

"And what about numbers? With how many this could be, you'd best gather every hero you got for this…" Hawks leaned back, a small smirk forming on his face. "And any valuable trainees that could lend a hand."

Frowning, the president glared up at him. "You want to say that again?"

"I'm just saying, judging by what I've found so far, this is not something we should be cutting our manpower down against. And there are quite a number of in training students that are a hell of a lot stronger than most the pros you'd be sending in on this. Or are you still pouting about being kicked out of the friend zone?"

Hissing at his sarcasm, she leaned back in her seat in annoyance. After the debacle with UA, she'd assumed strong arming them would only last a short time before it all ended. However, it had now been a few months, and they had no intention of budging and no worry of it. "We have no idea about this situation and-

"Come on now," Hawks sighed and kicked his feet up. "I've heard you talk about this girl as if she is some new sign of evolution or whatever. I looked into it myself, and while seems a bit strange, it's not like she herself has done anything. In fact she's done quite a lot helping us, wouldn't you agree? Or are you just letting your pride run you by this point?"

The flying hero's personality was always one that got under the president's skin, but she was growing upset that his words were honestly true. While she and a few others in the commission were interested in discovering what this water controlling child was, the point of trying to put a chokehold on UA was certainly met with mixed reactions from the people below her. And as time had gone on, others began voicing their concern how this would end and the tension that would be formed between the top school in the country. Now, this event had been developing, she had this dilemma to deal with.

"You've had this concern about what she is, and who knows, she may be something we haven't seen," Hawks said, "so that was no different than the first few quirk users in the world. But different or not, if you want to see if she's a threat, this is another chance to see for yourself her go against the villains once more."

Sighing out loud, the president rubbed her head as she looked up to the ceiling. "Go back and continue finding information about them. I'll think about your statement."

Chuckling, Hawks stood up from his chair and straightened his jacket. "If you want the most help you can get, letting them train is all you need. Tsukuyomii was quite the character working under me. It would be fun to have him back under me sometime."

As he opened the window and flew out into the sky, the president sat alone as she rubbed her forehead. While she didn't want to admit it, her little plan with UA certainly backfired in terms of results. At this point she felt there was no point even using her tactic, since it wasn't going to make a difference with a certain student covering the entire cost disparity. And if there was even a bit of proof in Hawks information he found, there was something big happening soon, and they would need every able bodied hero to work on this. She was never one to admit she was wrong, but her mind knew if a threat was coming, some of the most useful heroes were at that school.

Aizawa, Mic, Cementoss. Even some of the students like Hawks said were top level pros already… and as much as she didn't want to admit it, this Katara was one at that level as well, despite how much she wanted to ignore the facts that were in front of her. Strange power or not, this girl had in fact faced off against the league every time, never showing any sign or threat to the country itself. Perhaps Hawks was somewhat right in what he said, letting this be another test to not only prove her loyalty, but to observe her abilities more and get more of an idea of what she was.

"Perhaps I could put this on hold… for now." She said to herself, grabbing the phone and nearby and dialing. "Gather the others downstairs. We have something important to discuss…. No, this is about work studies being reincorporated."

Gunga Mountain Villa

Far away from the cities, a single building sat isolated in the mountainside. It appeared like a hotel, the structure in fact owned by the very group the hero commission was concerned about; the Meta Liberation army… or what they were called now, the Paranormal Liberation Front.

The change came after they tried to eliminate the league of villains, thinking they were being far too disruptive and drawing the attention of the country towards them… but instead of destroying the league, they in fact made them far stronger than they were before. Many of the members when pushed close to death, in fact awakened their powers to new heights, unleashing their true potential and revealing what they could really do. In the end of the battle, they were now in charge of a brand new force willing to do their bidding.

A force that numbered near one hundred thousand total.

Inside one of the rooms in the back of the facility, Toga sprawled out on the couch as she sucked down a juice, sighing as she stared up to the ceiling with her one good eye. "How long do I have to keep this thing on?" she grumbled and snapped the eye patch over her right eye. "It itches."

"You're complaining about an itchy eye?" compress sneered, holding up his robotic arm. "At least you get to keep your eye."

"Hmmmm…" Toga complained and sat back up, "now that we got a little time to chill, what's going to next?"

"We follow the boss to the next step." Twice answered, crossing his arms and nodding. "He knows what's best for us!"

The door to the room opened up, the trio of them turning to the newcomer walking in. Toga tilted her head curiously at what she saw. "Well someone is looking different." she smirked.

Touya Todoroki closed the door behind him, keeping with his natural white hair now as there was no point in hiding it. What had changed now was instead of his normal blue coat he had on, he now sported a scraggly white coat that hung over his body. The burnt flame user sighed as he plopped down on the couch, clicking his tongue and sighing. "Been thinking about a change of looks. Black and blue just doesn't match this." He chuckled and rubbed his hand through his bright hair.

"Never figured you for the stylish type," Compress grunted out. "Where have you been?"

"Just discussing what happens next with the boss," Touya grinned, reaching onto the table and grabbing a bite of sushi their new subordinates supplied for them. "I have to say he seems to really know what the hell he wants now."

"He's always known what he wants. He now has the power and drive to do it." Compress said, remembering the devastation that came from Tomura's power now. It truly shocked him just how much changed in what he could do from before, giving him even more reason to follow him now. "After what's happened lately, I feel everything is changing forward."

Touya couldn't agree more, after going through the turn of events over the last few months. They encountered the unstoppable beast that served under All for one, and after that, were faced off against the army that now served them. And this was all after the entire events he did on his own, still surprised he'd heard nothing from his father in response to what happened. He only grinned, thinking his old man was probably stewing every night, unable to even think of what to do against this revelation. And now, there was something better in play.

"It's just a matter of time before we find the perfect time to make our move, and when that happens, it will be that even the entire country can't stop it." Touya laughed as he ate his food. "This place will burn all at once with the heroes in shambles."

"And what is so special that has you so excited?" Compress asked, "What is this "grand scheme you got that even the boss is behind?"

"Actually, this is his own scheme he came up with, all from what I found in that cave of those animal people," Touya Explained, grabbing another piece of sushi. "Before I got out of there, I checked out that spider leader's little room. Apparently she was going to torch it before she left, even left some gas to the side to light the place up, but after it went downhill for her, she was a bit distracted to do that."

"You mean she got scorched before she could…" Toga giggled, making him chuckle.

"Perhaps. She did say she was going to kill me, so I just struck first," Touya reached into his jacket and tossed down the file he had taken. "While secretive, that spider chick did keep some information on each member just in case they tried to go against her. Ways she could contact them and keep them in line. Or in our case… convince them with a promise of fortune."

"So these hunter people who you worked with again? Weren't they all taken down?" Compress asked confused. "And if you have this info you found, doesn't that mean the police have it once they searched the caves?"

"That's if I left it intact for them to find," Touya snapped his fingers, igniting a small flame. "Why leave a perfect gift for the police to use when he can have it for ourselves?"

"And what's so special about this that has the boss so excited?" Twice asked curiously.

"Once we found who we were looking for, Shigaraki was able to convince them with an offer too good to turn down." Touya only smirked, imagining the day to come when Tomura's idea came to fruition. "Let's just say we have others who would be glad to join us, only they need a little help reaching us. And that's where this all comes into play.

Meanwhile: Tartarus prison

Deep inside the maximum security prison, the kitchen at the back of the facility was filled with multiple guards as they gathered trays of food onto the carts they had to deliver to the prisoners. Loading up the final few in front of her, the brown haired woman sighed as she grabbed the stack of napkins and added to her cart, taking a breath as she pushed her cart passed the other guards towards the main pathway before accidentally bumping into another cart.

"Oh, sorry." She said, blushing as she fixed the tray that nearly fell over.

"It's alright," the male guard smiled, pushing alongside her through the large doorway. The black haired man noticed the sweat on her forehead, chuckling to himself. "Nervous?"

"Yeah, it's still a little freaky seeing these villains," the woman said, adjusting the hat on her head.

"You're new here, right?" he asked, "I've only seen you here a few times."

Nodding, the woman took a breath, "Yes. I came here two weeks ago."

"Well, don't plan on getting used to it," the man laughed, "I've been here two years and still get chills walking by their cells." He reached his hand out towards her. "Omasu, by the way."

Smiling, the woman shook his hand. "Rika. It's just that this job pays amazing, but I didn't realize how stressful it would be." Rika said as they came to the large security doors, waiting for the guard behind the glass to scan the carts before opening the pathway. After that, they both moved forward as the door closed until the next guards were ready, leaving the pair walking towards the first set of cells. "All these guys are freaky…"

"Yeah they are…" Omasu muttered as he looked through the glass, seeing the villain Kai Chisaki leaned against the wall. "Dinner time."

The former yakuza villain stared at the ground blankly, his arms sealed inside the quirk restraints that had to be on at all times. With the overhaul quirk he had, he could turn the entire cell he was inside into gravel instantly if he were freed. Although the man seemed more pissed they didn't allow him to keep a mask on, always complaining it was dirty and couldn't keep clean. As the tray was slid through the secured slot, he slowly turned and glared through the glass at the pair. "Are you going to make me eat like an animal with no hands still?" he complained, earning a shrug from Omasu.

"Hey, all part of the rules, pal." The male guard responded and pushed on, with Rika following as she glanced at the cuffed villain again before going on to her next cell, sliding her tray through the slot for the tall, gangly looking man with dark eyes staring at her. She frowned at the creepy grin he gave her, moving on as other guards began making their rounds to different areas delivering food for the other inmates. As she made her way down the pathway, she noticed the one door to the right, the thick steel doors covered in a large cautioned-off paint.

"And… the doors that way are for him… right?" Rika asked, glancing over to Omasu.

"Yeah, that's him…" he responded, glancing at the doors leading to All for one. "His own section of the prison to himself. You have a while to even get clearance to that side, missy."

"It's not like I'm in a rush to go that way at all," Rika muttered.

Omasu noticed her hands clenching the cart tighter, his eyes noticing the movement behind her back. He leaned back and saw a dark and bushy tail coming out from her lower back, whatever animal quirk she had was tucked in between her legs. "Little freaked out, huh?"

"Just seeing what he did is terrifying," She said, taking a breath and moving on past other guards. "He nearly killed All Might back then."

"And now he's rotting in a cell. He's got however many life sentences ahead of him now," Omasu grunted and slid another tray into another prisoner's room. "He's going to be here for longer than we will be working here."

As other guards moved through feeding different prisoners, Rika came upon another cell, knowing a recent addition to the prison was here. She walked up looking inside the cell and saw the red headed man inside, stepping and practicing strikes with each motion. His clawed hands punched with blinding speed, his arms fully healed by now from his injuries. His raptor claw tapped on the ground as he smirked, sensing the presence of someone behind him. He lowered his arms and turned to the newcomer to his cell.

"Ah, the fresh meat is here again," Muteki chuckled and walked forward, staring at the guard before him. "I'm so honored the newbie brings me my next meal again."

"Does it matter who brings your food?" Rika asked, pushing the tray through the slot, looking back up to the hunters member on the other side of the glass.

"I mean it's nice seeing a pretty face here. Certainly much more attractive than these ugly bastards working with you." Muteki laughed as Omasu glared as he walked by hearing that. "With such pretty eyes like that, it'd be hard to forget you." Frowning, Rika stepped back and walked away, making Muteki laugh as he grabbed the tray and sat on his bed. "Hope to see you again soon. I've been missing company lately." He said.

Watching her walk away, Omasu quickly caught up to his new coworker's side. "Hey, don't let that creep get to you."

"It's fine…" Rika sighed. "I kind of figured I would have weirdo's hitting on me."

Omasu gave a quick glance at her face, blushing himself, noticing how pretty she was with her bright blue eyes. "I kind of have to admit he kind of was right by the way."

Rika giggled at his comment, smiling. "Well I appreciate that. Maybe we can catch up after our shift later if you're free. It'd be nice to know more people here."

"Yeah, see you soon." Omasu said, smiling and pushing his now empty cart the other way.

Smiling, Rika watched as he left before turning the other direction and walking down the corridor, taking a breath before her smile slowly fell from her face. 'Don't get ideas that this will go anywhere, loser.' She said inside, knowing to work through her new coworkers emotions to find out more of this place.

'One friend at a time…' she said internally, pushing onward as she continued placing food into different cells… all while subtly noticing the cameras scattered throughout the corridors. Ever since she got this job, she'd been counting the steps between pathways, locations of the key slots, and even getting a count of how many guards for shifts. Everything she knew that was important for the future. It was hard enough falsifying her information to get this job, glancing at her reflection in the nearby glass and sighing out loud. Adjusting the hat on her head, she stared at the new color of her hair… and allowed her fox ears to flick free for a moment before putting it back on.

'That stupid Muteki better knock those comments off. I don't need the attention…' She hissed inside, seeing he obviously recognized her. "This better get me that pay that was promised…" Vixen muttered under her breath, finishing off the tray's in her cart and turning back towards the kitchen to restock, nodding and smiling at the other guards she passed by through the prison.

Notes: DUN DUN DUN! An infiltrator to the prison?! A big change to the story now!

Well, once again I apologize for the long delay. being a father is just very time consuming. And unfortunately... expensive. one reason being busy was medical bills just from the hostipal. even after insurance, simple costs for delivery, care, and check ups have come out to around $10k . so work has been a priority lately.

And while I have a new art piece made, unfortunately my own funds for art have stopped due to personal reasons. if any want to help create more art, you can follow the links to help donate for more. anything will be truly appreciated and if not, I still thank you all for the support.

Another thing is since the story ended in canon... Kinda was a little mixed on the feeling of it. I won't go into details or stuff, but some of the things I just didn't like the way they went, and some storylines really changed how I thought would go when making this story. that's why I'll say now... some of the things I had planned are not going to change to match canon. Many big things later will not be the same or even happen at all, so much of what comes next will be a new story all together.

If any want to discuss thoughts on that, I prefer to do it in messages. I really want to see your comments and thoughts of the chapter and what comes next. Thank you for your support as I want to continue this!

Till next time!
