As Big Guns barges into the WCL headquarters, he at first is confused due to the presence of police officers from the Station residing on the entry level.
"Ey, wait a secun, ain't yous da guys from da Station? I tought dis was da World Crime League." Big Guns says.
"Oh, it is. We're just staying here since the Station was destroyed." Woo Hoo tells Big Guns.
"Well, somes kindsa police yous are for hangin out wit all dese criminals!" Big Guns says, marching directly into the basement, where loss averter is currently harassing Mugsy with more spinning paint flakes, disembodied music, and strange vocalizations. It seems that since we last saw loss averter, the marshmallows covering its body have been replaced with meatballs. Big Guns freezes up as he reaches the bottom of the stairs and beholds the scene, which is frightening beyond his comprehension. As loss averter turns to face Big Guns, all the ambient spinning and noises stop, and Big Guns tries to retreat before his brain is overloaded again. Despite loss averter making no direct effort to pursue Big Guns, it still feels challenging to get away, but with the help of Windsor Clementine pulling back Big Guns's eyelids to keep him focused, Big Guns is able to force his way back upstairs through sheer willpower. Rather than immediately leave the building and discontinue the investigation, Big Guns heads further upstairs, wanting to put more distance between himself and loss averter. Of course, this leads Big Guns to Cybr's workspace, and Big Guns is put at ease, feeling much more comfortable confronting Cybr compared to loss averter.
"Hey! You over there! We've come to right the wrongs this establishment has committed!" Windsor declares.
"Yeah, ones of yous goons decided ta pick a fight wit us, and told us alls about your crimes." Big Guns adds.
"AND you guys stole my legislative firm's acronym." Windsor appends as a last note before Cybr can react. Cybr just sighs, and calls down El Diablo, who arrives within a few minutes, during which time Big Guns and Windsor patiently wait for El Diablo to arrive. El Diablo steps between Cybr and Big Guns, and brings out his Stand, but when Ikari Wa Shūryō Shimasu hits Big Guns, El Diablo is surprised to see absolutely no reaction from the man.
"What the…? Cybr, what's going on here? Betrayal of Fate didn't even activate on him!" El Diablo exclaims.
"Ah, ones of dem talkin' computas. Betcha yous works here too, eh?" Big Guns snickers.
"Looks to be the case." Windsor nods. Big Guns grabs El Diablo with one hand, lifting him into the air.
"I'll be takin' yous back to da Department fer questionin'."
"What'll we do if, or rather when, he's guilty? Blow this whole place up?" Windsor asks.
"Dunno, probably, not my problem at dat point though." Big Guns says. Windsor's phone suddenly rings, but he quickly responds with "I'll have to call you back" and hangs up. Big Guns looks over to Cybr, who is now pointing his gun-like contraption at Big Guns.
"Ah, so yous is threatenin' me too, huh? What makes yous so special that yous thinks yous'll fare any different?"
"Just put down my project, or death is what you wish will happen." Cybr says coldly.
"Ahaha! Thas cute. What're you gonna do?" Big Guns laughs.
"Yeah, you have nothing on us, this guy is a solid wall of beef!" Windsor says. Big Guns simply walks up to Cybr, the substance Cybr shoots at him uselessly splatting against him and dropping to the floor. Big Guns snatches up Cybr in his other hand.
"Simon 'n' Garfunkel here gotcha held tight, and yous is boths comin with me." Big Guns says. Simon & Garfunkel are Big Guns's fists, which he named after some popular gladiators he once saw on the TV. Cybr tries to scan Big Guns to figure out why he seems to be immune to so many things, but all his glasses show him are the faintly visible letters "S" and "G" on Big Guns's hands, labeling them. Cybr realizes that this must be some kind of passively working Stand ability, which even Big Guns isn't aware he has. Cybr remains silent while Big Guns carries him and El Diablo all the way back to the Pole Ice Department, ignoring Windsor's constant taunting and mocking, as well as the occasional orange or tangerine being thrown at him. Once Big Guns steps through the doors of the Pole Ice Department, Windsor thinks for a moment, glancing at the body of Chiminal lying in the holding cell.
"Throw these two in the Zone of Null Credit." Windsor declares. Cybr isn't concerned by Chiminal's body, since this sort of thing happens to him like, once a week at least. Big Guns drags El Diablo and Cybr towards the area where Cledit Card was killed previously, with Windsor making sure to dismount before the border of the ZONC is passed through. Cybr, knowing just how dangerous a Zone of Null Credit can be, quickly presses a button on El Diablo, causing a rocket thruster to launch El Diablo upwards, breaching through the roof of the Pole Ice Department and allowing for El Diablo to escape, but leaving Cybr completely restrained by Big Guns as he passes into the ZONC. Big Guns unceremoniously deposits Cybr in the ZONC, and then locks the door behind him as he exits, leaving Cybr alone as his credit score begins to slowly but surely decrease.
The effects of a ZONC are highly localized to the immediate area in which someone with insanely high credit dies, but are incredibly dangerous once the ZONC is formed. Upon entering a ZONC, one's credit score begins to approach negative infinity, which will eventually manifest as physical harm, and ultimately will result in death. Leaving the ZONC is not enough to stop this effect, and in fact actually speeds it up exponentially the farther one goes from the ZONC. The only way to resist the ZONC is either by having ludicrously high credit in the first place, or by having some kind of special ability to protect oneself, such as Big Guns's Simon & Garfunkel ability, which protects him from anything which his pea brain cannot fully comprehend. Another such Stand, Cybr theorizes, would be Dr. Woo's Never Fail, which is why Cybr calls for Dr. Woo to come and release him from the ZONC, making sure to inform him of the situation at hand so that he can properly utilize his Stand to be protected from the zone once he enters. In the meantime, Cybr looks up local necromancers, because, while untested, the revival of the entity that created a Zone of Null Credit on death should theoretically remove the ZONC from the area. The only result Cybr finds is a man by the name of Ricky Elusive, who is just close enough that Cybr should be able to have the necromancy take place before his credit gets too low. After a few minutes pass, Cybr sees the door open, and Dr. Woo gestures for Cybr to leave. Cybr walks out, and Dr. Woo heads off back to the WCL building while Cybr heads to Ricky Elusive's address and knocks on the door, which is labeled with a sign that reads "THE UNREAPER". Ricky cracks open the door, looking at Cybr.
"Have you come for my services?" Ricky asks mysteriously.
"Indeed I have."
"They come at a price, you know."
"I can afford just about anything."
"No, not money. If the one I bring back for you were to die a second time, then you would die with them. Even zombies and skeletons and the like. Whatever keeps them animated ceases to function."
"Couldn't I get someone else to hire you then?"
"You could, but something tells me you came to me yourself for a reason."
"Yeah, I need to revive someone to get rid of a Zone of Null Credit."
"Then we have not much time on our hands. Let us go." Ricky grabs his necromancy bag and heads out, with Cybr leading him to the site of Cledit's death. Ricky arrives on scene and begins crushing up sugar cookies within the ZONC, lighting the dust on fire. Once the flames clear, Cledit Card is standing in the room in perfect health, and, as expected, Cybr feels the effects of the ZONC lifting as his credit returns to normal. Ricky packs up and leaves, caring not about the outcome for his client now that the job is complete.
"Where the hell has that fish guy gone off to?!" Cledit demands, looking around the area.
"Doesn't matter. What does matter is that you're coming with me to get your new job." Cybr responds.
"It does matter, and also, I don't even know you, why are you trying to offer me a job?"
"Because I brought you back to life, and need to make sure you don't get involved in anything stupid again. Now come on." Cybr forcibly leads Cledit out of the room, but before the two leave the building, Cledit boots Windsor out of the computer chair so he can check his credit score. Cybr just sighs, and starts using a tracker to pinpoint where exactly El Diablo landed after the rocket boost ejection.
