Doctor Who X RWBY X Justice League IV:
Ruby: I...feel...AMAZING! *Walks inside our room* How about we head down Rockaway Pass tomorrow?
Blake: Aren't Grimm blocking the road?
Weiss: It wouldn't take long to go around.
Ruby: Orrrrrr...*jumps to the couch* We smash right through! Take out the Grimm and reach the next stop on patrol even faster. Win-win!
It had only been 48 hours since their return to Remnant from the Ever After. Yet, it feels like the Grimm sensed their returns and have come in hordes to attack Vacuo but would always come up short. That wasn't the problem however, it was the way Ruby has been since returning.
Since morning time, Team RWBY had been on patrol and dealing with multiple Grimm to protect the people and the kingdom. But for Ruby Rose, it was all about feeling invincible. She would take risks unlike anyone else and would go for the most dangerous paths just to kill off the Grimm.
She feels alive! Renewed! Unstoppable! No longer putting the little girl in her to handle this world but her huntress self has made Ruby feel like she can do anything.
However, the others don't feel exactly the same about this...especially Yang...
SLAM!
Yang: *marches inside* Ruby, you can't keep doing this. Today, we have faced King Taijitu, Sulphurfish-
Blake: And Ravagers.
Yang: *crosses my arms* Right, how could I forget Ravagers. Ruby, we just got back; And you've been very driven...Confident even. But lately you're just throwing yourself into danger. Don't you care about the future?
Ruby: *plays with my scroll* As long as we save Remnant, what else is there?
Blake: The fight for Remnant is bigger than Rockaway Pass. When Salem gets here, we need to save our strength so we can save Remnant. What's left of it anyway.
Yang: Exactly. While both Mistral and Menagerie are still standing, Vacuo is the last hope. We can't have a repeat of Atlas.
She only closed her eyes as a single tear fell...
The memories were returning to that day when her home fell, lives were lost, people they knew and cared for were gone...
And they lost...
All she could do was turn around and walk away...
Ruby: Weiss?
Blake and Yang turned around to see Weiss was gone. They understood well that Atlas falling was still a hard lump for her to swallow. They didn't know whether to go after her or simply let her be.
Blake: *sighs* Look, I'm not...trying to make things worse but even though we are back...We are in worse shape than before. We are all having problems and that is what's keeping us drifted apart.
Yang: Babe...if it's about the Doctor-
Blake: It is about the Doctor. You two didn't even let him fully explain everything. You only heard bits of it and then stormed off.
Ruby: We have every reason to storm off. He kept this secret about our mom! Wouldn't you feel the same if you were in our position, Blake?
Blake: I would be angry, upset, hurt, betrayed...but I wouldn't storm off if he tries to explain everything and not ignore nor sugarcoat it. And before either of you start...*holds my arm* Just know that I have been in your spot before...*looks at Yang* With Adam...
Yang's eyes widened as to what their outbursts led to which was bringing back dark memories for Blake. Yang instantly regretted but did not change her thoughts about the Doctor.
Yang: Sorry...that...that was too much for you...
Ruby: We didn't mean to make you remember those times.
Blake: You know...I talked to Sora right after we got back...she didn't tell me much or anything too specific and she told me the beautiful future we are going to have. Something about her...feels familiar as well...like if she's hiding a secret of her own...But the point is, we shouldn't dwell on the past forever...even when it's something like this. We need to look ahead to the future. We know Salem will lose, we know we'll all have a future, so we need to get it together...All of us.
Ruby and Yang only looked at each other with mixed expressions of sadness and confusion as they took in Blake's words deeply. Only time will tell how things will go from here...

In a dark liar, filled with different pods that are holding new Grimm; The Goliath Grimm possessed by Kilg%re arrives as it continues to fall apart. It approached the biggest pod in the room which glowed yellow.
And inside that pod was none other than Atlas mad scientist himself, Arthur Watts.
Arthur Watts: Were you successful?
Kilg%re: Should've used the poison on the rest of the Justice League.
Arthur Watts: Poison won't work on the others. They have powers. Their time will come. We needed to take out Batman first, before he ruins our plan.
Kilg%re: Sure, whatever.
Arthur Watts: Not whatever. He's your world's greatest detective. We had to incapacitate him so he won't figure out our plan. I won't allow us to fail. Again.
Kilg%re: And where is HE?
Arthur Watts: Careful, Kilg%re. Curiousity kills the Cat. He is working and watching everything as it happens.
STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!
Kilg%re: *looks over and scoffs* And yet he sends one of his lap dog to do the work here.
Arthur Watts: As I told you, he already knows what is happening and is already working on the next phase. Patience, Kilg%re.
Kilg%re: So then why are we doing this offline? I'm an AI, remember? I'm stronger in the digital realm, and you are mostly a skeletal body. Just because the first digital world didn't work doesn't mean we couldn't try again.
Arthur Watts: Do you understand the definition of insanity?
Kilg%re: Obviously! Ugh! You treat me like a child.
Arthur Watts: I'm simply saying, the sooner we fix this program, the sooner we enter phase three.
Kilg%re: And the sooner we destroy the Justice League.

Kilg%re: Do you see anything? *cackles*
Hearing his voice again sent a shiver down his spine and a wakeup call back to reality as Flash looked around with no sign of Kilg%re but only Black Canary and Green Lantern.
Green Lantern: Flash? Did you see something?
The Flash: *sighs and shakes my head* No. Nothing. Canary, cross off this section.
Black Canary: *grunts* This is ridiculous. I should be out fighting, not knocking on every universe's front door.
The Flash: We need to find Team RWBY and the Doctor.
Black Canary: Why? If they haven't been able to eradicate Grimm on their world, what makes you think they'll do any better here? We're wasting time.
The Flash: *marches towards her* I know you don't want to be here, but we need all the help we can get. Last time I fought Kilg%re, I almost killed my own teammates. Not to mention, from what the Doctor told us in that simulation, The Master is the ultimate threat to the universe. He makes Brainiac and Darkseid look like rookies compare to The Master. And now, he's here! We. Can't. Waste. Time!
Green Lantern: Hey. Superman didn't ask you to look for Remnant as punishment.
The Flash: *sighs* Next section.
Work was interuppted with Cyborg rushing in which made the other heroes worried.
Cyborg: Where's Superman?
Black Canary: He and Diana took point on Metropolis clean up.
Green Lantern: What's going on?
Cyborg: It's Bats...
(Few Minutes Later)
The Flash: And you let Kilg%re get away? He knows how to counteract the poison.
Cyborg: Look, we had to get Bats to the infirmary before the poison killed him.
The Flash: Kilg%re may not be our smartest villain, but he is a survivor. So, we have to jump on every clue before it gets cold.
Cyborg: That's not the priority right now.
The Flash: It should be. *sighs* Canary's right. We can't keep knocking on doors, waiting for one to open.
Green Lantern: *thinks and gets an idea* Doors! What if we're going about it wrong? What if it's not like knocking on doors but calling long distance?
Cyborg: *thinks* Lantern and I will work out on how to phone Remnant. Flash, see if you can figure out the chemical breakdown of this poison. Canary-
Black Canary: Kick ass?
Cyborg: Long as you and Vixen track down Wondy and Supes while you're at it.
Black Canary rushed out while Flash left the room to help out with Batman while Cyborg and Green Lantern got to work in getting a way for a signal to be received by either Team RWBY or the Doctor.
Time was running out and fortunately, Time is always on the Remnant's Heroes side.

There she stood. Sitting alone on a booth plagued with heavy thoughts and negative emotions. It was a good thing that Grimm would not be able to detect it. The Time Angel herself, Weiss Schnee stood there looking around, seeing a few folks and families come and go as the heavy thoughts continue to crawl on her. She closed her eyes momentarily to let out a deep breath before hearing footsteps approach then a chair pulling up.
The Doctor: I'm sorry but is this spot taken?
Weiss: *opens my eyes and smiles softly* Not at all.
The Doctor: I got us two nicely brewed cappuccino. Decided to take a break from repairing the TARDIS, Blake told me you went off on your own, and I knew the one spot you would be: Here.
Weiss: Annnd how exactly did you know I was going to be here?
The Doctor: Well, considering we decided to be a pair of bad kids *whispers* And carve a heart with our first initials right on the side of this table.
Weiss: *giggles and sips my drink* Well, when you've been dating someone for about almost 6 years, you start to get creative. Is it bad that I'm already thinking about our wedding?
The Doctor: You say that out loud and people would be looking at us shocked that we jumped the boat for over a year. *chuckles* Then again, we were already planning on the reception and how the main place should be decorated.
Weiss: Everyone here it's only been a year. You and me in Tatiana, 5 years. Time difference plus *looks at my ring* Whatever happens...I want to make sure I'm still with you forever.
The Doctor: *holds your hand* What's troubling you my Ice Queen?
Weiss: *sighs* Doctor...how did it...feel...when you recently lost Gallifrey?...
The Doctor: Wow...Bold question right there. Let me guess, the fall of Atlas is still troubling you.
Weiss: *nods slowly* It's like I'm suffocating every time I think about it...
The Doctor: Suffocating is indeed the right word. When I escaped Gallifrey with Khan, I couldn't even see my home one last time as we were escaping more Daleks. Then I lost my memories temporarily yet...I felt this cold feeling in me whenever I tried to think about home. And when I finally remembered everything, during those 3 days I was gone-
Weiss: 3 weeks for me.
The Doctor: Right. It took a much bigger hit on me when I realized that not only was I in a different universe with nothing familiar around me...but my home planet was destroyed...Destroyed in an endless war between two superior species. Funny enough, in that same time as well, the only survivors of both species ended that war with a peaceful agreement. *sighs* The point is...that shallow pain, that dreadful nightmare that keeps you awake...it won't go away for a long time...
Weiss: How you do it then?...Obviously the Original Doc told you Gallifrey lives on today, but during that time we all believed it was gone...how did you live with it?
The Doctor: In terms of explaining could take a long time but the simple answer is looking in front of you. I lost Gallifrey, I lost my home, my people, a part of me died on that day but eventually, I found a new home. And I happened to end up having the biggest family in Remnant even if some hate my guts right now.
Weiss: *smiles softly* We became both to you as time passed on and you were spending a lot of times with us.
The Doctor: There are two homes for everyone. Where they are raised and where they are on their own. *Kisses her hand* It's going to take some time and that's okay.
Weiss: *smiles* Thank you, love. *Leans forward and kisses his cheek* I'm probably gonna reach out to others and seek for some more advice as well.
The Doctor: Meanwhile, I'm going to return to the TARDIS and continue repairing her. She stopped spewing but we just need to figure out how to patch her up and see if she can continue on. But, if you need me for anything, I'll be here.
Weiss smiled as the two shared a quick kiss before the young Time Lord made his leave and leaving Weiss slightly more positive than earlier before pulling out her scroll and looking to see who to call and get some word of comfort and advice as well. She scrolled through until a picture of Klein appeared which increased her smile as she pressed on his contact and waited for the call.
Klein: Miss Schnee?
Weiss: Oh, Klein! I didn't think you'd pick up.
Klein: Any time it's you or your siblings, I will always make time to answer.
Weiss smiled as thankfully in her world, she still had a father figure in her life and it happened to be Klein.
Weiss: It's so good to see you. How are things in the city?
Klein: Same as ever. The people coming in are adjusting quicker here than expected. Then again, your mother and brother have been helping around.
Weiss: And...Winter?
Klein: Unfortunately, as much as she tries to help the people don't want it. It would seem that while the reputation of yours, your brother's, and your mother's is based off your grandfather and the Doctor, the people see Winter off your father's reputation-
Weiss: I don't want to talk about him.
Klein: *stutters* M-Miss Schnee...
Weiss: He watched it all fall from a prison cell. But he abandoned everyone long before that. Atlas, our home, it fell apart. And he didn't care.
Klein: Do you really mean Atlas? Or do you mean your family? You.
Weiss: He only cared about himself.
STATIC
Klein: *angers* True! That is what he did!
STATIC
Klein: If you need some time away, that's fine. After all, everything around seems to be quiet and secured in Vacuo. But make sure you're not pushing away those who love you. You are not him. You are not Atlas. You are more.
GLITCH
Weiss: *eyes widened and thinks* I...I've got to call you back, Klein. Thank you for answering.
Klein: Anytime, Miss Schnee.
GLITCH
There was the damn glitch once again as Weiss pulled out her Sonic and froze her scroll to capture the information of the glitch which contained a code. As she read it, it was a familiar code...
Weiss: 11, 9, 12, 7...
It was Batman...

The Dark Knight was unconscious and slowly fading as Cyborg and Flash were able to slow down the poison from quickly spreading but it still wasn't enough. Flash continued working on finding the right cure but the memories of Kilg%re continued to haunt him.
The Flash: You're not coming back, are you?
Superman: *enters the room and looks over* Batman! Bruce!
Wonder Woman: What can be done?
The Flash: We're trying to figure out what type of poison the Grimm used.
Weiss: Poison?
Wonder Woman: Weiss?
That voice caught the attention of the Justice League members nearby and recognized it immediately as the screen was glitching out and trying to change until the next thing that appears is the Sonic Myrtenaster belonging to Weiss Schnee and around her were the rest of Team RWBY.
Blake: It's really you. It wasn't a simulation. You're real.
Superman: *chuckles* Good to see you again, Team RWBY.
Ruby: Clark?
Yang: So weird. You're all adults.
Green Lantern: Are Jaune and his team with you?
Ruby: No, it's just us. They're all out patrolling different sectors.
Cyborg: Look, I know we just saw you three days ago, but it seems like-
Ruby: Three days ago?
Blake: It's been 3 months.
The Flash: *thinks* Time dilation. Must be longer there than here.
Weiss: Considering we have a time travelling time lord on our universe, this is a normal occurrence for us.
Superman: Is he there? The Doctor?
Weiss: *sighs* Not at the moment. He's having issues with the TARDIS and is repairing it. What happened to Bruce?
Cyborg: Our world has been infested by Grimm. One of them attacked Batman with some kind of poison and then just left.
Blake: It specifically attacked him? That's not normal for Grimm.
Yang: So Kilg%re learned how to alter Grimm?
Cyborg: Worse. It would seem he did it with the help of The Master.
The girls all felt their hearts stopped and their faces turn complete pale as the haunting psychotic laugh of the Master struck them. It couldn't be him...They all saw him die...
Weiss: N-No...T-There's no way...
Green Lantern: W-What is it?
Yang: We...came face to face with him...We were able to defeat him...barely...but he died. We saw that psychopath meet his demise.
Ruby: There's no chance. The Master is dead!
Blake: But for him to be in your world...what if we missed something?
Cyborg: You're saying he's dead?
The Flash: And they saw him get killed.
Cyborg: Which means there's a chance we have been wrong about all of this and it's not The Master who is working with Kilg%re.
A small bit of relief for Team RWBY but they weren't going to let their guards down if somehow...someway...The Master has returned...
Superman: I wish we reconnected under better circumstances. But our teammate and world hang in the balance.
Wonder Woman: Whoever is working with Kilg%re, what they're doing will destroy us.
Everyone heard groaning from the back and looked back as they saw Batman slowly sitting up as Flash helped him out.
Batman: *groans* With your help, we can discover who Kilg%re's working with...And stop them.
Team RWBY all nodded as the next step of the plan was talked and created with the Justice League as the call was over and they were ready but their minds could not be taken off regarding The Master.
Ruby: That man is dead! Even they thought it was him but now it turns out it could be someone else!
Yang: Another time lord? The Rani?!
Blake: Both very possible. But there's one thing we are forgetting, the Grimm are being changed around which isn't something that has happened here.
Weiss: Which means Ruby was right when all of this first happened; Someone else is helping Kilg%re. There's no time to waste then. We need to alert the Doctor then head to-
Yang: Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. How about No? Let's not get him near this.
Weiss: Are you fucking serious right now, Yang?! PUT THIS BULLSHIT ASIDE AND FOCUS ON THE BIGGER SITUATION!
Yang: HOW ABOUT YOU STOP DEFENDING HIM ALL THE FUCKING TIME AND ACTUALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THE WRONG HE'S DOING! LET'S NOT FORGET THE DAMAGE HE HAS DONE TO YOU!
Weiss: Oh, I know very well and remember clearly. But I forgave him because I knew everything that was happening WASN'T HIS FAULT!
Blake: EVERYONE JUST STOP! *pants* We are not going to help the Justice League or any of us if this continues!
Ruby: Then let's do this on our own. We already have experience in travelling across time and space. Weiss, you can tell him but you got to understand that he won't do much to help if the TARDIS is down. Besides, if we needed a vote, Yang and I won by a landslide.
Weiss: What do you mean by a landslide?
KNOCK KNOCK
Two knocks were heard at the door as Ruby sped over the girls and opened it to welcome in Team JNR.
Nora: WE ARE READY TO BECOME SUPERHEROES!
Jaune: We got your message and came as soon as possible, Ruby.
Ren: Thankfully, we were just getting back from patrol. Though, Oscar had to go and meet with the leaders and maidens except Nora, of course.
Nora: Those meetings are so BOOOORING!
Weiss: Hold on a sec, what did-
Ruby: Great! Then let's go! Yang, start their coordinates!
Yang: On it!
Both Team RBY and Team JNR made their leave while Weiss stood behind in a mix of disbelief and anger. She just realized that Ruby, her own friend, the one with the most heart and kindness...covered the situation just to have Team JNR on her side.
Weiss: Unbelievable. *Pulls out my scroll and texts the Doctor* We got a big situation coming up. And a messy cover up as well.
The Doctor: What's going on?
Weiss: We got a call from the Justice League and they need our help. Jessica and Cyborg gave us a way to cross universes since I told them your TARDIS was down. I planned to have you come but Ruby and Yang brought in Team JNR for a majority vote to not have you come. Ruby lied!
The Doctor: Their anger is starting to go beyond concerning...It's fine. Do what you need to do and I'll do my best to meet up with you lot once she is fixed. I have a good clue on who is behind this.

Yang: I thought your family's old labs were abandoned.
Weiss: They are, but they have the computers with the type of processing power Cyborg needs.
Blake: Who could Kilg%re be working with if it's not The Master?
Jaune: We'll find out eventually. And if it is him...let's kill him properly this time...
Weiss: Say Jaune, I gotta ask you something. And it's to the three of you. *Crosses my arms*
Jaune: Wassup, Weiss?
Ruby: Wait-
Weiss: What did Ruby text you exactly?
Nora: Justice League needed our help and the Doctor trusted us to get it done since he's not around right now.
Weiss: *eyes widened and glares at Ruby* You've got to be kidding me? *cackles* Ruby Rose! You...FAKER!
Jaune: Wait, what's going on?
Weiss: Ruby LIED to you three. The Justice League reached out to us. Not the Doctor. The Doctor is still in Vacuo. But his TARDIS is broken and he's repairing it. Ruby lied to you so her and Yang wouldn't see his face.
Nora: WHAT?!
Jaune: *sighs* Ruby...you didn't...
Ren: So that's why we heard you say majority vote at the door. Weiss and Blake stand with the Doctor but you and Yang don't. So you brought us in with a lie and tried to cut the conversation to make it look like we were on your side.
Jaune: Look! I get it. I totally get what you are going through and I understand completely. I was there when it happened to Pyrrha.
Yang: SEE! You do understand, Jaune. Not everyone knows the Doctor isn't-
Jaune: I wasn't done. I get it and I understand it but I also understand the Doctor's reason as to why he couldn't do anything to prevent Pyrrha's death. I understood when Weiss explained that despite her powers, she can't do anything to bring back Pyrrha. You four girls were all there...*closes eyes* When I got the closure I needed from Earthland Pyrrha. Yes, the secret the Doctor kept about your mom's passing is hurtful...but you got to understand that he probably has a lot of secrets and knowledge he can't share because we don't have the minds to take it in.
Yang: Y-You can't be serious...
Jaune: You want a majority vote? Here. *stands next to Weiss* I'm with the Doctor.
Ren: I'm with the Doctor's side as well. I can see your emotions and since your returns, it has only been anger. You have let anger and hatred consume you two. It's gotten too far.
Nora: The Doctor went all out and never stopped on finding you after you fell to the Ever After. He didn't stop one bit. Not to mention, he has put his faith and trust in me as the Fall Maiden to protect our people and our home. I stand with him.
Weiss smiled in a bittersweet way as she was glad to see her friends knowing the truth and standing with her as it was a majority vote of 5-2 with the Doctor's favor while Ruby and Yang remained shocked with a mix of anger and betrayal.
Weiss: Sadly, he won't be able to come just yet because of this mess. But, we can do our best to make it right until he comes.
Blake: *breaks down the doors* Let's go!
Both teams made their way into the empty computer room. Weiss activated her Sonic in immediately going past the login page and other security pages while the others guarded the room.
Ruby: Okay, We go to their world, figure out who Kilg%re's working with, eradicate the Grimm, save Batman, and be back in time for our own apocalypse.
Blake: What was that? Like 2 minutes?
Wonder Woman: Try 2 seconds.
Nora: Ugh. This is hurting my head.
Cyborg: Okay, Weiss, you're going to-
ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!
Both teams were left startled as the alarms went off in the room and the doors were sealed shut. They heard noises coming down to the room and saw multiple pods opening up with Atlesian Soldier Droids emerginf.
Jaune: Not Good!
Ruby: Weiss?
Weiss: *frustrated* Ahhhhhh!
Ruby: Turn them off!
Weiss: One Sonic can only shut down a few of them. Yours, Blake, and mine can potentially cause a blackout in this room and we lose the way to the Justice League's world!
Ren: Then we'll fight them off while you get the portal open!
Nora: Good! Bout time I can finally use my Maiden powers to its full potential!
The droids immediately began to fire at Team RWBY and Team JNR as they fight back while Weiss continues to quickly work on the portal.
Nora: UNLIMITED POWER!
Her eyes glowed while rays of lightning came out of her hands and fried each droid in a matter of seconds but more continue to show up.
Nora: Uh oh.
Ruby: Don't Stop! Keep going!
Weiss: Okay, what do I need to do? *Dodges a bullet and blasts a few droids* We don't have a lot of time.
Green Lantern: Cyborg plugged into the computer and is looking for you. Pay attention to the screen and let me know when you see a green light.
Weiss waited for the green light to appear as the situation was increasing with more droids appearing and outnumbering the heroes. She took a deep breath, her eyes glowed yellow, and released a large wave of energy that froze time around everyone except for themselves.
Jaune: Nice one, Weiss.
Yang: Freaky but nice!
Weiss: I see it!
They waited once they saw the green light and right in front of them, a green portal has opened. The gateway to the Justice League's world.
Yang: Go! Go! Go!
Team RWBY and Team JNR all ran through the portal as time returned to normal in the room with droids still firing.
But our heroes have already crossed through and were about to go through another huge adventure in another world...
