Infinity Satan sets his sights on Costa Brava's Easy Street, located in part of the town which was burned down during Shazamitas's unleashing of his power. Infinity Satan punches a giant sinkhole into the street, which he reckons is at least 398 deep. Windsor Clementine, proud of himself after rescuing Cybr, is currently going on a nice stroll around Costa Brava, and accidentally falls straight into the massive gaping sinkhole, barely managing to save his own life by using Citrus Remix to pile up a cushion of oranges at the bottom of the hole. Down in the subterranean cavernous space, Windsor sees the Church of the Rat, and he watches from behind his citrus-y cover as Infinity Satan descends from above and enters the church, promptly combining himself with The Rat in a horrifically disgusting scene to behold. This results in the formation of Rat Satan, though, unfortunately for Rat Satan, he is trapped within the confines of the Church of the Rat for the time being as a precautionary measure while the extreme spatial instability caused to the surroundings by the fusion process dissipates. Windsor looks at the wall in front of him, and tries to recall any rock climbing techniques that could help him find his way out of this pit. Even if Windsor had a history with rock climbing, though, this surface is simply too high to reasonably scale, leaving Windsor with no choice but to find an alternate route of escape.
Elsewhere, far, far away, beyond the walls of the Trifecta itself, in a lonely tower in the Absolute Abyss, the Rusted One is sitting across a table from Super Fan.
"So…ummmm….." Super Fan twiddles his fingers, waiting for Rusted One to explain why he came here.
"Is it not obvious what this is about?" The Rusted One states. "Your 'SuperFanToys' brand is once again stepping over boundaries which it should not be stepping over. First, you've been making merchandise bearing the names and likenesses of real Dominators from the Upper Trifecta, whose identities are not supposed to be known beyond the boundaries of Bloogly's Trifecta."
"Okay, but it's all marketed as though it's pure fiction. Nobody really believes anything from it. Wouldn't it just be more suspicious to suddenly recall them?"
"You've been pushing forward a line of books and comics and the like under this brand of yours, have you not? Do you not realize how likely it is that at some point, something in that 'fictional story' will happen to line up eerily well with a real-life occurrence? And that this will become more and more frequent over time?"
"I just tell it how it is. If people want to believe that my stories are real life, that's on them." Super Fan pops a stick of 5 Gum (sponsored) into his mouth.
"All I will tell you is that there is an expectation that you make your stories more original so to speak. If you wish to brand them as fiction, then make them that way."
"I'll see what I can do. But I don't make promises." Super Fan places two fingers on Rusted One's forehead, and instant transmissions him away, sending him back to the Council.
Meanwhile, Camryn has been searching the PUP base for any sign of the vault she heard about, and thus far has not had any success. She's exhausted just about all of her options other than the palace at the center of the island, which is far more heavily guarded than any other area. However, Camryn knew she would probably have to go there, anyways, so she isn't particularly upset that it seems that her quest is leading her towards it. Just as Camryn is staring down the palace gates, though, a voice calls out from behind her.
"THERE YOU ARE, CAMRYN SANFRANCISCO! You couldn't hide forever, even if your two-toned clothing strategy was VERY clever!" COP POLICE shouts, drawing numerous strange stares from other people in the area, who don't understand why COP POLICE is shouting at the empty street, where the only thing between him and the palace gates is a cardboard box. As COP POLICE is getting closer to the box, a dart from Where in the World is shot out through an opening, and sticks itself into COP POLICE's leg. Those people who were staring at COP POLICE suddenly decide that they should actually be proactive about dealing with this intruder, and emerge from their buildings to forcefully remove COP POLICE from the premises.
"I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME! YOU'LL NEVER GET AWAY WITH THIS!" COP POLICE yells as he's dragged off, shaking his fist at the sky. Thankfully for Camryn, this makes for the perfect distraction to slip through the gates unnoticed, officially allowing for her to enter the palace grounds.
Back in the sinkhole, Rat Satan has been attempting to use his coughing animation to clip through the wall, which is a frame-perfect maneuver that only sometimes works even when pulled off correctly, so he's not making the fastest progress at getting out of the church. Windsor, on the other hand, has gotten the idea to try and construct a rope out of orange peels, but even after chaining together well over sixty oranges, it's still not nearly enough to get him to the surface, and probably not strong enough to hold his weight, anyways. After thinking on it a bit longer, Windsor decides that instead of climbing out of the hole, he can just fill it with orange juice and swim to the surface, and he begins to flood the entire sinkhole. The high amount of resources dedicated to rendering the fluid effects of the orange juice causes Rat Satan to lag enough that he pulls off the clip with ease, and successfully escapes the church as the orange juice level rises rapidly. Notably, when Rat Satan, still unstable, touches the orange juice, it begins to be converted into rubbing alcohol, making this a far more precarious swim than it was previously. Just as the rubbing alcohol is about to reach the surface, Succlord suddenly begins to drink the rubbing alcohol from the edge of the sinkhole, causing the height of the pool to stagnate. Windsor thinks fast, and uses his already constructed orange peel rope to climb out the rest of the way before Succlord can begin draining the sinkhole, barely managing to escape. With his casual stroll irreversibly ruined, Windsor has no choice but to skulk back to the World Crime League building.
