Korney's legal son and rightful heir, Specimen 4, arrives at Kroger to avenge his father and reclaim what rightfully belongs to him. Being specifically bred for hyperintelligence, Specimen 4 is easily able to locate G'leech's massive gravy puddle out back, which is a dead giveaway of the homunculus's location. As Specimen 4 gets close to the puddle, though, G'leech surfaces and hisses, revealing that it had been feeding on Kroger's power supply this whole time. Specimen 4 uses his telepathy to communicate with G'leech.

"You've taken things that aren't yours." Specimen 4 declares. G'leech stares at Specimen 4 with its many eyes, before beginning to crawl up the wall of Kroger. "No, нет, you can't just run away!"

Specimen 4 starts looking for a way to chase G'leech, but is distracted by M'leech, who has taken notice of Specimen 4 and seems quite hungry. G'leech reaches the roof of Kroger, and clings on to the spire at the top, which is known to act as a lightning rod even in clear weather. Specimen 4 recognizes Korney's mask on M'leech, and promptly sucks the mask right off of M'leech's body and into his own. Before Specimen 4 can even do anything with the mask, though, M'leech smacks him in the noggin and slurps the mask back into itself.

"You have no idea what that thing is for! It belonged to my father and now it's mine!" insists Specimen 4, but it's no use. Despite his intelligence, Specimen 4 is greatly outmatched by M'leech in physical strength, and M'leech is able to overpower Specimen 4 and absorb him. M'leech's brain expands as it fills up with intelligence, and it evolves into M'laysia, having both brains and brawn on its side now. M'laysia begins scanning the local brainwaves in search of G'leech.

"Join me, G'leech." M'laysia projects outwards as a message. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning splits the sky and strikes the Kroger spire, imbuing G'leech with electricity and causing it to rapidly mutate into G'lektrek, causing its gravy to become both electrified and corrosive. M'laysia watches as a massive blob of corrosive gravy comes hurtling down from above, and quickly uses its gun to blast away the projectile, shielding itself from the raining droplets with its other arm. M'laysia shoots its gun at the ground to gain enough height to reach the rooftop, and latches on to G'lektrek just as G'lektrek manages to wriggle and squirm its way into the Kroger vents.

Detecting a massive spike in homunculine activities, B'leech emerges from its hiding spot, and begins seeking a way to power itself up in the name of self-defense. B'leech's gaze falls upon SMAV, and it rushes towards the creature, attempting to gobble it up. SMAV notices B'leech coming and is able to easily shrug off the small creature's attempts on its life, before hurling B'leech through the wall of Kroger.

Within the vents of Kroger, M'laysia continues trying to assimilate G'lektrek, but keeps getting slammed into walls and shocked by the gravy. Eventually, M'laysia sustains enough damage to lose consciousness, and in doing so, is sucked entirely into the gravy, resulting in its own absorption and the formation of M'lignant, a truly horrific amalgamate. With three of the four local homunculi assimilated into the same being, M'lignant finds itself with an overwhelming desire to seek out the last creature, and erupts from a toilet in the bathroom to search the store for B'leech. B'leech senses the immense danger in the area, and scampers into a freezer, before using the key it found at the PID to lock itself inside. Though the cold environment is very uncomfortable, it is clearly a much preferable fate to being found and eaten by M'lignant. M'lignant roars and hisses as it runs around the store in search of B'leech, guzzling down several bottles of actual bleach as it knocks over shelves and individually inspects peanut cans to try and flush out the evasive homunculus. This search process takes a very long time, long enough that Kroger closes for the week, and B'leech is forced to remain in the freezer the whole time, slowly freezing over. Finally, M'lignant notices B'leech in the freezer, and latches on to the door, shaking on it to try and open it. The lock holds, and M'lignant begins puking corrosive gravy onto the glass to melt through it. When M'lignant breaches the freezer, though, B'leech is nowhere to be found, and M'lignant twitches angrily, entering the freezer fully to try and locate B'leech. As it would turn out, the extended time in the freezer was just what B'leech needed, as it was able to upgrade itself into B'lizzech, a formidable defense to match M'lignant's offense. B'lizzech gives M'lignant a nasty whack to the tongue, and M'lignant squelches in surprise, recoiling out of the freezer. M'lignant attempts to slurp down B'lizzech, but the hard icy coating surrounding B'lizzech proves too solid to swallow, and even the corrosive gravy leaking from M'lignant's body simply freezes on contact with B'lizzech. M'lignant raises its gun and blasts B'lizzech, shattering a layer of its icy armor, but the armor reforms before M'lignant can close the distance. M'lignant attempts to burrow underground to set up a surprise attack, but B'lizzech smacks it before it can escape. M'lignant spouts out several Russian swears, but the gravy oozing from its mouth makes it essentially impossible to decipher what the exact words being used are. Realizing this, M'lignant opts to use its telepathy instead, drilling its words straight into B'lizzech's mind.

"I do not like you. You are bad." M'lignant says.

"You are…weekling." B'lizzech chitters, infuriating its opponent. M'lignant tries again to devour B'lizzech, but B'lizzech's icy armor forms into a spiked shield, skewering M'lignant through the inside of its mouth. Just as B'lizzech is about to absorb M'lignant for itself, though, M'lignant raises its gun once more and blasts away the ice armor, and since B'lizzech is already in M'lignant's mouth, the armor doesn't have time to reform before M'lignant is able to absorb B'lizzech, ascending into M'lizzaeedelorneyspektrogus4, or M'lizza for short. Promptly after forming, M'lizza collapses into a dormant state to regenerate its energy and body.

Outside, Feldritch Fenix approaches the doors of Kroger, and is aghast to find that they're locked.

"I can't wait a whole week for my ramen!" Fenix whines, banging on the door repeatedly, to no avail. Fenix tries the back entrance, too, but it's also locked. With no other options, Fenix dials up the Kroger hotline, and Kroger picks up on the other end.

"I need my ramen." Fenix states.

"Store's closed." Kroger responds.

"No it's not, I'm just locked out."

"Oh ok, we'll send someone out."

Fenix licks his lips in anticipation, and watches as the doors of Kroger shatter apart, possibly a result of Kroger's influence or possibly as an unrelated occurrence. Fenix rushes inside, and SMAV also returns to the inside of the store out of curiosity, though SMAV notices the megahomunculus and makes sure to keep a cautious eye on the sleeping beast. Fenix makes an f-line for the ramen aisle and grabs as much pasta as he can carry, before smearing it directly onto the barcode scanner in the self-checkout lane. SMAV busts open the cash registers and runs off with the money inside. As he flees the store, SMAV notices a now hiring sign above a storm drain, and decides that he could probably use a job, so he slides in to see what the sign is all about.
