"Donny!" Blitzen comes running towards Donner, who stares back in surprise.

"Huh? What's going on?"

"Vixen is missing!" Blitzen leads Donner to the gates, and sure enough, though Dancer and Comet are both there, Vixen is completely absent, and the other two knights seem to have no idea where the third went.

"What?! When did this happen?" Donner exclaims in shock.

"Like, an hour ago, I don't know! Recently! We tried looking at his past and his future, but he's not in either! It's just like what happened with Rudolph!"

"What should we do? Do we have any idea what could be causing this?"

"Not at all! We have nothing! The only thing that happened up here recently was Kringle bringing in that new guy as an assistant!"

"That guy passed all the checks, though."

"Yes, but what if he used a fake name? This could be really, really bad!"

"No, there's no way. The Knights wouldn't let that slip by them."

"Okay, but what if they DID let it slip by them, and now Kringle doesn't realize that he has a dangerous person working for him?!"

"You're right. We have to figure something out before anyone else goes missing."

"But what could we do? We have nothing to go off of!"

"Next time we see that Artichoke guy leaving Kringle alone, we go in there and warn him. It's better than sitting around and doing nothing."

Blitzen and Donner stake out outside of Kringle's workplace, and once they spot Artichoke heading out, they wait until he's out of sight, and then run inside. Inside, Kringle is sitting at his desk, smoking a pipe.

"Oh, hello, you two. How may I help you?" Kringle looks up at the two deer, offering them each a candy cane. They both accept the treats, and Blitzen gets to explaining.

"We fear that your assistant might be working against us, and that they are the one responsible for the recent disappearances around here! And if you aren't careful, you might be next!"

"Oh, my, that certainly does sound worrisome. I'll have to have a chat with him next time he's around. Have you told the others about this?"

"No, sir. Only us two and the Knights at the gate. We don't want to risk Artichoke overhearing us."

"Perfect." As Kringle says this, Donner and Blitzen suddenly lose consciousness, and when they wake up, they find themselves as heads mounted on a wall in a strange room, and can see that Rudolph and Vixen are here as well.

"Artichoke…is not the one deceiving you." Kringle says, closing the door to the room and plunging it into darkness as he exits.
