Meanwhile List, still testing the bounds of its powers to manipulate the plot, sets a new idea in motion. What if it were to exclusively have an individual cross paths with others, without ever directly putting them in the spotlight? What may unfold in such a scenario? Meanwhile List scours the room for a string it has not yet touched, and finds one that seems perfect, before gently dragging it towards another.
Meanwhile, outside of the Station's newly established Dethe Bestn location, White Woo is standing outside, and is approached by Bush Boy.
"Do you have-a da berries?" Bush Boy asks in a babyish voice.
"Huh? This is a police station, not a grocery store. You came to the wrong place." White Woo responds.
"What of beeries?" Bush Boy adds, not seeming to respond to White Woo's statement.
"Oh, well we've got those." White Woo admits.
"Can have?" Bush Boy asks excitedly.
"Well, normally I'd say no, but they've been in the hole for a few days now and nobody's eaten them, so you should be good."
Bush Boy walks over to the hole and inspects the beeries inside. He eats the ones that aren't particularly stale, but none of them are of excellent quality, so he just walks away once he's done.
As Uzi continues flying around in search of things to do, she passes over an isolated town on the ground, and once she flies above it, she feels an odd sensation, as though she's just passed through some kind of field. Uzi flies down to the town, and nobody really seems to acknowledge her as they go about their business, other than occasionally saying seemingly random things that are on their minds. Uzi flies up to look at one of them in the eyes, and they still don't even acknowledge her, even walking almost straight into her, at which point they finally speak up.
"Hello, traveler. You must not be from around here. Is there anything you want to know?" the person speaks in an emotionless voice, and Uzi is prompted to select a response. Her options are: "What is this place?" "Who are you?" "Where can I buy goods?" and "Walk away."
Confused, Uzi just selects the 'Walk away' option, and the person immediately starts walking again, not saying anything further. Uzi flies to a nearby building and reaches for the door handle, but the moment she touches it, the door opens part way, and a moment later, Uzi is seemingly teleported inside. Uzi touches the door again, and the same thing happens, putting her back outside again. She then taps on a nearby barrel, and a menu pops up listing its contents as well as Uzi's own empty inventory, giving her the option to move items between them. Uzi gets an idea, and a mischievous grin crosses her face. She exits the menu, and holds her hand on the barrel, waiting for someone else to walk close enough for her to reach with her other hand. After a few minutes, someone appears just outside of the door next to her, and she plants her other hand on their leg, before using her Stand, Pumped Up Kicks, to allow her to splice the properties of the barrel and the person. Uzi gives the person the barrel's property of being able to have its inventory accessed and taken from freely, and then takes her hands off of both surfaces, before tapping on the person. The inventory menu appears again, and Uzi takes all the valuables off of them, such as their jewelry and any money on their person, and then takes it a step further, removing all of the person's clothes save for their undergarments. Upon closing the screen, Uzi watches the person walk away as though nothing happened. Uzi's grin widens, and she does the same thing again, but this time she puts the properties of the barrel onto the building itself, and accesses the building's inventory. Uzi sees that she has the option to cram entire people and furniture items into her inventory, but before she can take any action, she hears a tremendous knuckle-cracking sound from behind her, followed by a blur effect filling her vision as she gets knocked out.
On the streets of Dethe Bestn, Stephanus is walking around, running his fingers through the fat stacks of cash he got from Lobus. He's been spending a long time figuring out what exactly he wants to do with this money, and he thinks he might just have an idea: buying this entire city, and turning it into New Cuba. While he's on his way to city hall, Stephanus finds his path blocked by AlexMoses. Stephanus tries to walk by, but AlexMoses moves to be in his way again.
"That's a fair bit of change you're carrying around there." AlexMoses notes. "Surely you could afford to pay me some tribute."
"Uh…who are you? I ain't paying you anything." Stephanus says with a scowl, and AlexMoses frowns.
"What are they even teaching you in history these days?" AlexMoses shakes his head, before clocking Stephanus in the noggin, sending him to the ground instantly. AlexMoses gives Stephanus's unconscious body an atomic wedgie and then pockets his cash, before heading off to the address he received from John. The address leads him to the convention center where Nightstand operates, and as AlexMoses walks in, he sees Nightstand arguing with Freeloader Freddy.
"What do you mean it's gone?! Who could have spent our savings?!" Nightstand yells, and Freddy raises his hands defensively.
"Look, all I'm saying is that I checked the briefcase for, uh, no particular reason, and there were a few empty spots where there should have been bills. I don't have anything to do with this." Freddy responds.
"Hi saying is that I checked the briefcase for, uh, no particular reason, I'm Dad!" says Dad, and Freddy nods in agreement.
"Well, maybe…I don't believe you! We could have used that money to finally, you know…PAY OFF RENT?! So we never have to worry about our financial situation again?!"
"Hey, chill out! Can't we just agree that this is all probably Lobus's fault?"
"Alright, sure, let's humor this idea for a moment. Say that it is Lobus's fault. The money is not back in the briefcase just because it's Lobus's fault! The money is still missing, and we need to get it back!"
"So we get it from Lobus."
"LOBUS! GET UP HERE AND-" As Nightstand turns his attention away, he finally notices AlexMoses waiting patiently nearby, and shuts up. "Oh! Hello, are you here for my world-renowned services?"
"The secret to immense power! You have it, I need it." AlexMoses states.
"You've definitely come to the right place. However, our services are in very high demand these days, so I'll have to charge you quite a bit."
"Oh, trust me, I certainly have 'quite a bit'." AlexMoses says, tossing the bills he snatched from Stephanus on the floor in front of Nightstand. Nightstand grins, and starts rifling through Nightstand to find the Stand Gun again.
"That's excellent! Please enjoy our premium, one-of-a-kind service, and make sure to tell all your friends afterwards! Especially the rich ones!" Nightstand brings out the Stand Gun and takes aim, before firing it at AlexMoses. AlexMoses suddenly raises his hand and catches the bullet in midair, crumpling it in his fist.
"I'll have you know, in the game of life, I would be considered the final boss. You couldn't even begin to hurt me without the ultimate weapon." AlexMoses says.
"Ugh! Do you not know anything?! You have to let it pierce your skin, that's how this works! I wasn't aiming for anything vital!" Nightstand says in an exasperated tone. AlexMoses flexes his fingers slightly, and then opens his hand, dropping the crumpled metal to the ground along with a few droplets of blood from cuts on his palm.
"If you're lying to me, I'll be back for my money. And yours, too." AlexMoses says, before leaving the way he came.
