Happy Birthday Will

In the growing darkness of Meridian the vile roots of evil that spread from the castle glow with the very life force of the kingdom itself. The roots grew with energy which flowed from the land and village into the castle itself. Far below the roots energy surged into a pool of water surrounded by these very roots.

Bathing in these waters was Phobos himself who wore bathing robes. He felt the power from the water surge into him. However something was amis. Cedric who stood from afar bowed to his prince.

"What troubles you my prince?" Cedric asked.

"The waters don't refresh my powers as they once did. The life force of this city won't last forever." Phobos realised not feeling the full power of what he'd taken. "The need to find my sister has never been greater. 13 years. When they took her, she hadn't even been named."

That was true for when Phobo's sister the true heir to the throne had been taken, she wasn't given a name. So identifying her was proving to be a hindrance to the search. However Cedric had an idea of how to aid the search.

"I can find where they keep the birth records of the Earth city." Cedric suggested.

"Good. If we know all who were born there, we can narrow our search to those who were not." Phobos agreed however one thing still troubled him. "I am more concerned about the rebel He-Man, you say he is not of Meridian?"

"I am certain of it my Prince nor is the one named Adam who we captured along with the Guardian leader, however his attire and garb looked rather familiar. But what I cannot tell." Cedric explained.

"Hmmm, if he is not of Meridian then where does he hail from?" Phobos pondered in thought about the Guardians new ally for he knew he wasn't of this kingdom, nor did he know of his place of origin. It is almost as if he appeared out of nowhere.

Earth: Heatherfield: Sheffield Institute:

Meanwhile a new sunny day shone on Heatherfield, and the students of the Sheffield Institute were heading in for a new day of school. At the entrance Wills mother Susan was dropping her daughter off at school.

"Honey, are you sure you don't want to invite just 25 or 30 of your closest friends over?" Susan asked about a certain subject.

Will just gasped indignantly and looked a little surprised by that question before she sighed and turned to her mother. "No, Mom, not even just 25 or 30 of them."

Susan choosing not to pressure the topic chose to accept that. "OK, Birthday Girl, but remember, no matter how old you get, you'll always be my Pink-perky-poopy-pumpkin." She said as the car door shut and she drove off.

"Pink-perky-poopy-pumpkin?" Will turned and saw Adam and Irma standing behind her. "Does everyone on Earth have strange nick names?" The Eternian Prince had a raised eyebrow at that name while Will hung her head in embarrassment.

"Oh yeah like your mom hasn't called you anything like that?" Irma cracked.

"Nope nothing to my knowledge?" Adam wondered. "Unless you count her little princey."

Later the three friends were walking to class via the courtyard. It was then Irma brought up the elephant in the room. "So, it's your birthday." Irma guessed.

"Friday. Promise you won't do anything dumb, like throw me a surprise party." Will then explained to them.

This did catch Adam by surprise, why wouldn't Will want to celebrate her birthday? "Oh, I love surprise parties!" Irma said excited but Will just gasped in surprise which told her friend she wasn't okay with it. "By that, of course, I mean I hate and despise them." Will smiled at that.

"Wait hold on you don't celebrate your birthday?" Adam questioned.

"Well no I do but I..just don't like to throw parties." Will explained.

"Why not I mean you have good friends here so why not celebrate with them?" Adam asked. "I mean my parents threw parties when it was my birthday or anyone else's in the Masters." Will just bore a look telling Adam to drop it. "But then again this is Earth so I don't know much about birthday parties here."

"Hey don't worry Adam, just promise me you and Irma won't throw a party okay." Will asked.

"Yeah sure." Adam smiled assuringly as Will and Irma headed to class. However Adam was still wondering why Will wouldn't celebrate her birthday? To him it didn't feel right. "But you didn't say anything about the others." He said.

Later:

Later that day in the school cafeteria all the students had sat down to their lunches. At a nearby table the school bullies Uriah and his crew ate. However as he ate something was off.

"This pork chop tastes funny." Uriah said with his mouth full.

"Must be why it was in the garbage." Clubber joked.

They weren't the only ones in doubt about their food. For at another table sat Cornelia, Hay Lin, Taranee and Adam. However the bespectacled friend wasn't so sure about her food.

"Does this look cooked to you?" Taranee asked as she had a carrot in her fork.

"Taranee, it's a carrot. The only way it can harm you is if you are mugged by rabbits." Cornelia complained.

"So this is the kind of meals you guys eat here?" Adam said looking at his own food, as he was still getting used to the idea of school dinners.

"Yep welcome to the world of school dinners Prince of Eternia." Cornelia then said. "And let me guess you had a different kind of meal?"

"Well it's certainly different than the regal dinners, we had back home." Adam said. "Just be glad Ram Man isn't here he'd be a one man eating machine when it comes to mid moon snacks."

Before any more food critics could be made, Irma then slammed her food tray on the table getting everyones attention. "Guess whose birthday it is Friday!" Irma said in an excited way.

"Oo! I know! I know!" Hay Lin said excited like a child in preschool.

"Do you?" Adam asked.

Hay Lin took a moment to think but then she realised. "I don't know."

Cornelia would've guessed but she was too busy noticing Taranee looking at a pea to see if it was edible. "For crying out loud! It's a pea. Eat it!" Cornelia complained as Taranee was surprised.

"Guys its Will's birthday on Friday." Adam explained. "She told me and Irma this morning."

"Are you gonna throw her a party?" Hay Lin gasped excited.

"No, she made me promise not to." Irma explained to the girls. She then noticed Will was in line to get her lunch for the Cafeteria. Suddenly she realised something. "Oh gotta warn her about the fish. I think it was breaded when it was caught."

"Oookay and with that new info dinner is done." Adam said pushing his tray away from him.

"Hello, Will! Pink-poopy-perky-pumpkin!" Irma then called to her it got her attention but it also earned the laughs from all her classmates much to her embarrassment. Irma then went over to her.

"Hey girls I don't get why Will doesn't want to throw a party. I mean I'm sure there's a reason but it just doesn't seem right to me." Adam voiced to the girls when Irma was out of reach.

"Well not everyone celebrates their birthday with a party Adam." Taranee explained.

"Well back on Eternia everyones birthday matters, be it me, my family or any of the Masters." Adam explained. "But don't you think she deserves to have friends celebrate her birthday with her?"

Cornelia began to think about what Adam was saying, and sure they'd only known Will since she moved here some days ago. However her birthday was a special day, then it gave her an idea. "You know Adam, your right. We have to throw Will a party." Cornelia suggested much to the surprise of everyone.

"Weren't you listening? Irma promised she wouldn't. You too Adam" Hay Lin pointed out.

"Yeah she made me and Irma promise not the rest of you." Adam pointed out. After lunch the group were walking the hallways of the school discussing the matter.

"But isn't that kind of harsh it's breaking a promise Adam having us throw a party for Will." Taranee had to agree.

"No it isn't because this way we're giving Irma what she wants a party for Will, and Adam doesn't have to say he had a part in this so that way they don't have to break their promise." Cornelia then explained.

"But Will didn't want a party?" Hay Lin questioned.

However Cornelia thought differently. "Believe me. When she sees the party I throw, she'll be too jazzed to remember what she said." She pointed out. "Hay Lin, you pick a theme and do the decorations. Now we just need a place to hold it."

"We could do it at my place." Hay Lin volunteered.

"Not a good idea too small." Cornelia disagreed.

"Yeah plus Cringer would be spooked by the loud noises." Adam said.

"Okay well. Why not your place Cornelia?" Taranee suggested. Which caused the Earth Guardian to look a little sheepish about the idea.

"Problem." Cornelia explained. My last party was so unbelievably great, my parents say I can't have another one until after I leave home." By that she actually meant how her home was completely trashed after the last party she threw, and let's just say her parents were none too pleased.

Later that day:

After School had finished the girls and Adam picked up Cringer and Orko from the Silver Dragon and went to their secret training spot under the bridge. They were now in full Guardian form while Adam and Cringer were now transformed as He-Man. The Guardians stood battle ready against He-Man who stood sword at the ready and Battle Cat was ready for a fight.

They stared each other down in a Mexican stand off. Then as water dropped from the bridge the two forces charge at each other.

He-Man swung his sword at the Guardians who took to the air to avoid it. Taranee launched a fire blast at the Champion who only deflected it with his sword blade only for his legs to suddenly become entangled in roots from below. He looked to see Cornelia had been the one to grow those roots however Battle Cat leaped in and slashed the roots apart with his sharp claws.

The beast leaped to attack Cornelia only for her to slip out of the way then suddenly get caught within a large gust of wind which had him spinning round and round in circles.

"Aww he's so cute when he's helpless." Hay Lin cooed the Battle Cat.

He-Man found himself facing Taranee who concentrated her powers to form a ring of fire around him. He-Man simply smirked as he leaped into the air with one large bound and was about to slam the ground when suddenly a whirl pool of water blasted him to the ground. However he was quick to recover and mounted Battle Cat and rode towards the Guardians.

From afar Orko watched with popcorn in his hand, and was with Caleb who simply watched with interest.

"Cornelia, Hay Lin shake it up!" Will called.

Cornelia stamped on the ground with her foot erupting a large boulder from the ground. Then twisted her hands to break the boulder apart. Hay Lin made a whirlwind with the rocks mixed in and thrusted it towards He-Man who twirled his sword round and round blasting away the rocks and wind. While Battle Cat leaped over the rocks. However they weren't ready for what happened next.

"Now Irma!" Will called. Suddenly a large torrent of water blasted He-Man and Battle Cat into the bridge pillar. The two quickly recovered and found themselves looking up at the triumphant guardians.

Will offered him her hand which he accepted as she helped him to his feet. "You five are getting better." He-Man complimented.

"Thanks I think we're starting to get the hang of this." Will agreed.

"Yeah you guys were great! At this rate Phobos doesn't stand a chance. Heck you could even take on Skeletor!" Orko complimented.

"Really?!" Hay Lin said excitedly.

"Don't get too confident girls, because when you get cocky you can often get into trouble." He-Man explained. "Its also about being resourceful and learning to use the environment to your advantage and think ahead of your opponents."

"Uh Adam not sure you noticed but our powers are the environment?" Cornelia stated.

"Hold on he does raise a point, we do need to think outside of our powers a lot." Will said when suddenly her phone went off and saw the caller ID was her mother. "And I need to think inside the clock otherwise mom will be on my case." Will said as she used the crystal to turn the Guardians back to their human form.

Likewise He-Man raised his sword. "LET THE POWER RETURN!" He proclaimed and one flash of lightning later he and Battle Cat returned to Adam and Cringer. Cringer yawned as the sword changed to a buckle which Adam put back on his belt.

"Hey mom, yeah I know I'm on my way back now I'm just finishing studying with the girls." Will said to her mom on the phone. "Okay see you later." She put the phone down and got on her bike. "I gotta go girls see you tomorrow!" She called as she waved her goodbyes.

"Oh yeah I better go too don't want my Dad going crazy see you later." Irma left Adam and the rest of the group completely alone. So with Will and Irma out of earshot they could discuss things.

"Okay guys listen up we've got work to do. Hay Lin you me, Adam and Caleb are going to the mall to get some decorations." Cornelia said. "Taranee you work on the invitations."

This had just gotten Orko's attention as he floated over. "Hey hey whats going on what are you talking about?" He asked.

"Oh thats right, Orko its Wills birthday this Friday." Hay Lin explained to the small Trollan.

"Wills birthday!" Orko said excitedly. "Why didn't you say so I uh rock at birthdays. Thats the right phrase right?"

"Yeah you sold it." Taranee said.

"Great Orko but we won't be needing any wizards at this party." Cornelia said which did put a sad look on the little wizards face.

"Oh..oh okay." He said sadly. Cornelia soon realised she might've hurt his feelings so she tried to fix it.

"But you can still help out by making a gift for Will." She then said.

That did cheer Orko up a little. "Yay! Come on Cringer lets go!" He started using his magic to teleport them back to the silver dragon.

"Oh oh no not this again!" Cringer cringed as they zapped away.

A moment later the two reappeared. However they didn't appear in the basement of the Silver Dragon, but in actual fact. "YOOOOOWWWW!" Cringer cried as he found himself clinging to the wall as they appeared on a building rooftop.

"Opps uh guess it still needs work." Orko said knowing he'd goofed again.

The Mall:

While Orko worked to get him and Cringer out of their mess. Cornelia and Hay Lin took Adam and Caleb to the mall to get decorations and presents for Will.

"So, Caleb, Adam you guys are gonna learn all about parties." Cornelia told the two boys.

"We have parties in Meridian. To celebrate the end of Klunderfeast, we cook and eat an ox." Caleb protested knowing all about parties, well in Meridian anyway.

"Yeah and we have parties back on Eternia too, when it's the end of the summer solstice we hold a great feast, with guests and fireworks." Adam agreed.

"We won't be doing that. Though the Fireworks sound like a nice touch." Cornelia wondered then caught sight of two familiar faces it was Elyon and her friend Alchemy. "Hey, girls." Cornelia called getting their attention.

They went over to them and they were glad to see them. "Hey Cornelia." Elyon greeted, then noticed that Adam was with them. "Oh h..hey Adam."

"Oh hey Elyon." Adam greeted back recognising her face. This was surprising to Cornelia.

"Hold on you two know each other?" She asked.

"Oh yeah we met on my first day." Adam explained.

"Yeah you could say we bumped into each other." Elyon joked. "Oh by the way, Adam this is Alchemy she's a friend of mine. Caleb would've noticed but he was too busy being intrigued by the pay phone that was there.

"Hey nice to meet you."Adam greeted.

"Yeah nice to meet you too." Alchemy said in a dreamy way.

"Great anyway." Cornelia said getting back on track. "Party, Friday, five o'clock, Irma's house. It's Will's birthday."

"It's a surprise, so don't tell Will. Or Irma." Hay Lin explained to them but that last part got Elyon and Alchemy confused.

"But you said it's at Irma's house?" Elyon said Alchemy was too distracted by seeing Caleb bashing the phone even biting the top of it. In truth she couldn't get over how cute he looked.

"Well, that's what makes it a surprise." Cornelia explained.

"They're not even roasting an ox." Caleb openly said, which had gotten the group confused. Minus Adam, Cornelia and Hay Lin.

"Oh right uh, girls this is Caleb like Adam, he's new in town." Cornelia introduced as Caleb came over. "And still learning how things work here!" That last part she said to Caleb in a rather hinting tone.

Suddenly they heard a commotion coming from nearby. A security guard came running by a no skateboarding allowed sign. When the sound of rolling skateboard wheels came thundering along and low and behold it was Uriah and his two cronies Clubber and Kurt they were skating around causing havoc among the shoppers. They soon came to a stop in front of Adam, Caleb and the girls.

They were chewing apples before they spoke. "Hey, how come Kurt, Clubber and me didn't get invited to this party?" Uriah asked.

"Cos I'm not inviting creeps." Cornelia said rather indignantly. "Oh, I'm sorry. Creeps, Caleb and Adam. Caleb and Adam, Creeps." She introduced them.

The girls then walked away ignoring the resident bullies while Adam and Caleb just looked. "Great meeting you Creeps." He said walking away.

"Yeah pleased to meet you. Are you related?" Caleb then said before he walked away too.

However no way was this goonsquad gonna let this go lightly so Uriah worked up a devilish plan. "I say we teach them a lesson. Remember that horror movie where the kids are terrified by guys in masks?" He said to his partners.

"Where are we gonna find scary guys in masks?" Clubber asked not getting the point. Until Uriah looked with a glint in his eyes getting the point. "Oh."

Soon the group was a distance away. "Man what a bunch of jerks those guys are." Elyon said.

"So who were they the resident TwoBads?" Adam asked.

"Yeah more like the Terrible trio but with no brains." Alchemy said.

"Wait those are your tough guys?" Caleb questioned. "I'd like to see them last one second in a Skulldorian scream cage."

"Skulldorian Scream Cage?" Adam questioned with a scoff. "Oh come on Caleb I'd like to see them last five minutes in Snake Mountain now thats a real horror show!"

Elyon and Alchemy looked a little confused by what they were saying. "Uh you guys talking about something in a movie?" Alchemy asked.

Adam and Caleb realised they were talking about things not of this world. Thankfully Hay Lin was on hand. "Uh yeah it's something they saw in a movie, anyway see you girls Friday!"

"Okay see you." Elyon said bidding their farewells leaving Adam and Caleb with Cornelia and Hay Lin.

"Caleb! Adam! you guys are guests in this dimension. You can't go all rebel leader or warrior prince on us. Promise me." Cornelia lightly scolded.

"What we hardly mentioned much?" Caleb protested.

"Yeah I didn't even mention Skeletor?" Adam protested too. However Cornelia gave them a look that was strict and serious. To which the two just gave a sulking expression.

"Oh, they're so cute when they sulk." Hay Lin giggled.

For the remainder of the afternoon, the group spent it shopping for birthday decorations and presents for Will. Hay Lin and Cornelia spent a lot of it in clothing and perfume stores. Sadly Adam and Caleb were tasked with holding/carrying their purchases. They didn't realise this was a very long process. However it did start Adam thinking about what he could get Will for her birthday.

City Hall Park

As the night crawled in over the city, things were deathly quiet around city hall and the surrounding parks. The lights and electricity flickered in the ever quiet silence. Suddenly near a small park keepers hut a portal appeared clear as day.

Hale Residence:

Meanwhile at the residence of the Hale's (Cornelia's family) Cornelia was hard at work on a theme for Wills party. She'd call Taranee round to show her. They were in her room with her younger sister Lillian.

"Guess what the theme is?" Cornelia said excitedly. Showing her work, her room was full of decorations in a green colour including the balloons and streamers.

"Uh... The colour you turn when you're going to throw up?" Taranee guessed looking at the colours of the decorations.

"Hello? Haven't you ever looked at Will's backpack, her pencil case, and that dangly thing on her hat?" Cornelia asked her as she admired her handiwork.

"I guess not attentively enough." Taranee said. To answer her question Cornelia held up a squeaky frog toy in front of her.

"She's got frogs on them. She likes frogs. So, frog party. Are you loving it?" Cornelia asked feeling proud of herself.

"It looks like someone barfed on the walls." Lillian commented much to her older sisters irritation. So she pulled Taranee over and ignored that comment.

"And voilà. The snack pond." Cornelia presented a small paddling pool in her room. However Lillian didn't like what her big sister was planning to use.

"Thats my waiting pool you can't have it!" Lillian said.

"Quiet, or I'll shave your bear." Cornelia threatened and in response her little sister had a tight grip on her beloved teddy bear. Of course deep down Cornelia would never do such a thing, it was just something to keep her quiet. She turned her attention back to Taranee. "OK, you're making floating lily pad cupcakes, with flies made out of raisins. Meet both girls after school and make sure they're not dressed like pigs, but without them figuring out why."

"How do I do that?" Taranee asked.

"You're smart, you'll figure it out." Cornelia simply said leaving Taranee to figure out what to do next. She'd need a good cover story.

Silver Dragon:

Meanwhile back at the Silver Dragon, the young Prince Adam was pacing around the guest room that was made out for him. Since he arrived Adam has been living with Hay Lin and her family under the guise of an exchange student. So he was staying in the guest room. Cringer was in the room as well. Since the bed was high enough he could hide when they had company.

"Come on think I've got to get Will something for her birthday." Adam said pacing the room. "But what? I mean I want to make it special she's my first friend outside of Teela and the Masters."

"Adam don't you think your over thinking it a little?" Cringer asked. "I mean why not just get her some flowers?"

"No Cringer thats too simple, I always knew what good gifts to get Mother and Father for their birthdays but here I'm clueless." Adam said as he slumped onto his bed.

Just then came a knock on the door. Cringer was ready to hide under the bed. "Who is it?" Adam asked.

"Its Hay Lin." Said a voice so he opened the door and there was Hay Lin standing at the door. "Hey Adam, Grandma said she wanted to show us something."

"What is it?" Adam asked.

"Not sure." Hay Lin shrugged, but with Adam's curiosity aroused they proceeded to see what it was. They found Yan Lin sitting in the living room.

"Hey Miss Lin, Hay Lin said you had something to show us." Adam said as he and Hay Lin sat down on the footstool.

"Ah yes." Yan Lin said as she presented to them a rolled up piece of parchment. "I've kept this for so many long years."

"A piece of parchment?" Adam questioned.

"Is it the worlds oldest placemat?" Hay Lin asked.

"Not quite Hay Lin." Yan Lin explained. "This was once part of a great map hanging on Prince Phobos' wall. Years ago a soldier, tired of serving the evil prince, tore off a crucial piece of Phobos' map, the part showing our world, and escaped. He gave the map to a Passling, one who moves between worlds. And thus it came to me." She explained as she handed it to Hay Lin who opened it to see it was blank.

"Its blank?" Hay Lin questioned.

"I don't understand where's the map?" Adam asked.

"Ah in our world, the map is blank." Yan Lin explained. "Unless activated by the Heart of Kandrakar, currently held by our friend Will."

Adam soon got the idea, and it reminded him of something. "Oh I get it its an enchanted parchment. My father once told me about these things, during the Great Unrest they used these as a way to conceal messages or passages from old tomes, but could only be activated by certain magics." He remembered the stories his father told him. "But he also said these things were lost to time when he defeated Keldor."

"Heh Eternia isn't the only place to find said parchment young prince." Yan Lin chuckled.

"Okay so what does the map show?" Hay Lin asked.

"The Heart does more than reveal the map, it also reveals the locations of portals that open within the veil. As the heart and the map are attuned to the same energies on both sides." Yan Lin explained to them.

"So it shows us where the portal is so we can easily seal it." Adam realised where this was going.

"Indeed." Yan Lin nodded.

"Why wait till now to give me this? Is it because my powers are finally mature enough that I'm worthy?" Hay Lin feeling honourably humble.

However that wasn't the reason. "Nah. It was in the attic. I couldn't find it. Found my old tennis racket too." Yan Lin said pulling out a tennis racket and gave it a swing while her granddaughter and Adam looked at each other with wired expressions. "Fore! Ow!"

"Oh and Adam I also noticed your little friend Orko rummaging around up there." Yan Lin then said. "He seemed to be looking for something. Couldn't get a chance to ask what he was doing."

Just then as if on cue they heard a banging and clanging sound coming from the basement. Cringer wanders into the lounge after hearing the noise. "Hey whats that racket?!" He complained.

Adam had a knowing smile as he knew who was behind this. "I have a pretty good idea who's behind that."

The Basement:

In the basement Caleb and Blunk stood to the side watching a magician at work. It was Orko who was using his magic to build something. It was a small wooden box which he was putting together by waving his hands and magic sparkled around them. He used his free hand to snap his fingers and conjure up a drink which he slurped.

"Ooh what Orko doing?" Blunk asked.

"Your guess is as good as mine." Caleb said.

Soon Orko looked at his work and saw it was nearly finished. "Oh boy it's almost finished!" He said as he wiggled his fingers as magic finished the box decorating it in metallic pink and silver. Quite by coincidence it was the same colour scheme of a certain crystal. "Wait'll she sees this she'll love it." The box lid closed.

Just then he, the rebel leader and Passling heard footsteps coming down the stairs. It was Adam, Cringer, Hay Lin and Yan Lin. They looked to see what Orko was up to.

"Ah I thought I heard someone fooling around here." Yan Lin said with a questionable look.

"Yeah we found him doing magic with all that stuff." Caleb said.

"Well I'm not fooling around Miss Lin I'm making a birthday present for Will." Orko explained as everyone came over to see what he was doing.

"Aw thats sweet of you Orko." Hay Lin said happily.

"Uh Orko the last birthday present you gave the Queen nearly blew up the palace back home!" Cringer remembering the last time Orko made a birthday gift back home. "I'm afraid to ask what this does."

"Oh don't worry its a music box, just lift the lid and it plays a beautiful melody." Orko said happily.

Adam decided to see so he lifted the lid however what he heard wasn't a melody but a familiar ticking sound. Much to everyone's horror inside looked like sticks of explosives. Orkos eyes widened in horror.

"Where did you get the parts for this?!" Yan Lin asked hastily.

"Over in that crate I found in the attic." Orko pointed to said crate on the floor, it was full of what looked like rockets. "Why?"

Yan Lin quickly closed the lid on the music box. "You niny! Thats where we keep the fireworks for New Years this things going to explode!" She exclaimed.

"YIKES!" Okro, Cringer and Blunk cried as they hid behind the boxes.

Caleb quickly grabbed the box and hurried to the window opened it and tossed it out the window. "GET DOWN!" Caleb yelled and everyone dived to the floor covering their ears waiting for the big bang.

However it didn't come instead came a musical melody from outside. Everyone looked up and saw nothing happened. "Heh heh some explosion." Orko said bashfully.

"Orko" Yan Lin said in a light scoulding tone.

"I know I'm sorry I just wanted to do something special for Will, she's been a good friend to us since we got here." Orko said apologetically full of regret.

"Ah well no harm done." Yan Lin said comforting the Trollan. "But you want my advice don't over complicate it you could simply give her a great memory of your friendship."

Adam listened to what she said then something an idea clicked in his head. "Ah! Thanks Miss Lin you've just given me an idea, come on Orko you can help too."

"Yeah!" Orko said. "Oh but first." He disappeared and reappeared outside the restaurant. He picked up the box and closed the lid. "Ah well back to the old drawing board." He tossed the box into the trash but suddenly the ticking stopped and it exploded inside the bin causing it to dent the metal and rain garbage all over the place.

Soon after Adam and Cringer headed back upstairs to set to work on their birthday surprise project. Caleb also had to think of a gift for Will. Since she'd been such a big help when he was rescued not to mention the whole incident with the key, it was the least he could do to repay her.

"Okay Blunk I wouldn't normally reach out to you. But we've got to get Will something for her birthday." Caleb said as he paced the room. "In Meridian, I'd give her the customary chicken-skin hat. Man Adams right this is tough." He did have a thought something. "Well, Earth girls do like to buy the stuff that smells in tiny bottles."

"Blunk have smelly in bottle. Gargoyle sweat." Blunk pulled out of his shirt a blue bottle of green liquid. He took off the cap and smelled the liquid.

Caleb kept thinking of ideas. Just then he saw something in the basement that gave him an idea of what to do.

The next day:

The Thursday came and school was ending however as all the students were leaving Adam was heading in another direction. Early that morning he'd asked Principal Knickerbocker if he could have access to the resistant tech room after school so he could work on a project for school. Knickerbocker was hesitant but Adam explained his father taught him some crafting work back in his home town, so he knew how to handle the equipment. Course he couldn't tell her about how he helped Man At Arms test and build his inventions in his workroom. So she gave him permission commending him on his commitment to his work.

So as the last student left Adam was given access to the Resistant tech room. He closed the door behind him and put his back pack on the chair. He opened it up. "Okay Orko coast is clear."

Floating out of it was Orko who was hiding in there all day. He stretched out his arms and back as he could hardly move in that bag. "Whew I was getting hot in that thing."

Adam got out from the draws the tools they needed a file, chisel, hammer and a hammer, and safety goggles of course. "Okay I think we have all we need, oh Orko, did you get what I asked from Castle Grayskull?"

Orko looked in his robe sleeve and pulled out a chunk of some form of gold metal. "Here it is Adam." The prince had earlier asked the sorceress if Orko could return to Castle Grayskull for an item so she granted him passage back to Eternia but why was a curiosity for the small Trollan.

"So whats all this for and why the Memorite?" Orko asked.

"Well its all for making Wills present, it's an old craft that my father taught me when I was a kid." Adam explained to him as he began to reminisce a moment years ago.

Eternia: Eternos many years ago:

The scene fades to the kingdom of Eternos, many years ago long before Adam became He-Man. In Man At Arms workshop lights were flashing at night. At the workbench King Randor was working on something using the tools. He removed his goggles and looked at what he was doing.

"Ah its perfect, Marlena will love it." Randor smiled happily.

"Father." He heard a young voice, he turned round and saw behind him a 12 year old Prince Adam in his night clothes.

"Adam, what are you doing up so late at night?" Randor asked his son.

"I heard noises coming from Man At Arms workshop so I came to see what was going on." Adam explained.

"Well I'm sorry to have woken you son." Randor smiled.

Young Adam noticed what Randor was working on the work bench. "Whats that you're making." He asked.

Randor could see his son was curious and so he gestured for him to come over to him. So the young prince did, he came up and saw Randor had carved what seemed to be a small amulet with what looked like a lotus flower with a purple jewel in the centre.

"It is a gift I'm making your mother for our anniversary." Randor explained as Adam sat on the stool next to him. "This is a unique craft that was taught to me by my father, your Grandfather Miro. It is called the Memoriam Amulet."

"Memoriam Amulet?" Young Adam asked.

"It is an amulet crafted for the crafters loved one. But what makes it so special is what it contains." Randor then moved his fingers up to his forehead and made a hand gesture and his fingers glowed and coming out of his head looked like a white strand of energy.

Adam gazed in awe at what was happening. His father then rubbed the strand between his fingers and it turned to magical dust pouring into the jewel which glowed white and the lotus closed up.

"What was that?" Adam asked.

"Those Adam were the final components. The fondest memories of the person we love, which in this case is your mother." Randor explained with a loving smile. "For you see Adam what makes the Memoriam so special is the memories of the one it is for contained within. For me it's the loving times I shared with your mother before you were born."

Young Adam was amazed he didn't even know this kind of thing even existed, let alone it being a family secret. He then had an idea. "Hey dad, can I make one of these?"

Randor could only smile warmly at that request from his son. He placed his hand on his sons shoulder. "Of course son as my father taught me, I will teach you. Now let's get started if we work hard we can have it done by morning."

Young Adam smiled at his father as they embraced in a hug, and a minute later they broke the hug and then set to work.

Present day:

Adam smiled as that was one of the fond memories he had before he took on the burden of Grayskull. Orko was amazed by the story too.

"Wow, I've heard of these things." Orko realised.

"Well let's get to work." Adam smiled as he and his Trollan friend set to work.

(Music starts playing: Gone Gone Gone by Phillip Phillips)

So the prince started with simply carving out the shape of the amulet. He placed on his safety goggles and using the hammer and chisel to slowly carve out the shape. As he worked he heard his fathers words.

"Now pay close attention son, when carving the amulet you must focus on the person you are carving it for…"

Adam carved out the curved shape of the amulet, then using the file to start smoothing down the edges. He then took out a smaller chisel and began carving out the smaller inscriptions and patterns within the ore.

"…your thoughts of the person help to guide your carving path, like the compass on a map. You must let your heart guide your movements…"

The patterns and inscriptions were carved into the ore, and Adam moved to sanding down the patterns to clear away the marks and dust. He wiped his brow of sweat and began to feel a little tired. Just then Orko came floating into the workshop with tins of cola in his hands. The little Trollan had been to a vending machine luckily the janitor didn't see him. He hands one to the prince. He looked at it weirdly but then remembered he'd seen some of the students drinking out of these. So he opened the tin and took a sip of the drink and suddenly he felt full of energy. Orko took a sip and suddenly he was bouncing all over the place.

Adam shook his head and continued his project. Orko pulled out of his robe a small purple gem from one of his old possessions. He handed it to Adam and he examined it.

"….The jewel that will house the memories is important, but it's the glow that will house the memories. You must focus on the glow and cut it carefully…."

Orko used his magic to create a small ball of light in the room and then Adam focused the light through a small magnifying glass on an armature. Using the light Adam carefully looked at the gem and he had an idea of where to cut. Carefully using the belt sander he carefully cut the jewel down to a smaller size.

Once completed then came the difficult part placing the jewel into the amulet. Adam slowly lowered the jewel into the amulet carving. Orko then made several spell circles and concentrated then the jewel glowed with light as it was fitted into the amulet. Almost as if by magic the lotus petals emerged from the metal of the amulet itself surrounding the jewel.

"…Adam the most important element is the memory itself, for only the purest and fondest memories of the one you're carving the amulet for. So think about that person think about the happiest memory you've had with her…"

Adam closed his eyes and concentrated he tried to think of the happiest time he had with Will, so many had come to mind but one came to mind the most. Once he had that memory he moved his hands in a cross hand gesture then placed his two fingers on his forehead. Orko watched in amazement as his brow glowed white as he pulled the memory strand from his mind. He soon had it in hand.

"Holy Trolla!" Orko gasped.

Adam then placed it over the amulet and rubbed his two fingers together turning it to small magic dust. The dust sprinkled all over the jewel and it glowed bright white, and the lotus petals closed around the jewel and the whole amulet glowed brightly and it was now a metallic pink mixed with silver.

"For once the memory is added it will take the shape of what reminds you of that person…The amulet will only open to the touch of who it is meant for. Once opened the amulet will show that person the memory you've chosen and cherish it, that is the secret of the Memoriam."

Adam picked up the finished amulet in his hand and looked at it in awe, he'd done as his father taught him. Orko looked at their accomplishment and gave each other a high five for a job well done. They looked to see it was now dark out so they packed up everything and headed home.

(Music Ends)

The Following day:

Friday, Wills Birthday had finally arrived and once school had finished up it was time for the girls to put their little surprise into action. The birthday girl was talking with Irma outside the school, hiding close by was Taranee behind a tree. Cornelia had tasked her with getting Irma and Will ready for the party but without raising suspicion. Though deep down she kind of wished Adam was doing this he was a master of excuses, at least thats what he told her.

None the less she took a deep breath and went out to meet them. "Hey, girls!" Taranee called out to them getting their attention as she waited for a truck to pass by before she joined her friends across the street.

"Irma, Will, guess what? Boyzilla is playing a free concert at the mall." Taranee said in excitement.

The two girls couldn't believe what they'd heard one of their favourite bands was playing a free concert. Or so it seemed. "You're kidding! Let's go!" Will said excitedly.

"But they're only letting in the 100 best-dressed girls." Taranee explained pulling out a backpack of fancy clothes for them to wear. "I got us these outfits so you don't look like pigs."

Irma and Will gasped looking at Taranee rather offended by that statement, giving her a questionable look. None the less Taranee took them inside the school. "Come on, let's change." She said.

Lair Residence:

Meanwhile just outside Irma's house, Hay Lin rang on the door bell. Cornelia was dressed up in fancy clothes as was Adam, who wore a dark magenta buttoned shirt opened up and wore a white shirt underneath with blue jeans and brown boots. His disguised sword buckle was on his belt.

Just then Irma's father answered the door. "Hi, Mr Lair." Hay Lin greeted. "Irma isn't home, right? Great. Come on in, guys."

was rather taken by surprised and was confused, as one by one Hay Lin and several other kids from school came into the house with party decorations. Cornelia entered last with Adam. However the moment got a look at him he stopped him.

"Hold up son." He said and when Adam looked he instantly recognised him as the policeman who he, Cringer and Orko ran into the moment they arrived on Earth. "Don't I know you from somewhere?"

Adam not wanting to get into more trouble needed a good cover story. "Uh no ah I..I've just got one of those faces. heh heh."

looked at him for a brief moment when finally. "Oh well my mistake I guess I mistook you for someone else." He said. So Adam went to join the rest of the party planners as he breathed a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile:

Taranee, Will and Irma were now dressed up in fancy clothing. Irma wore a green jacket and pants with a green short top exposing her midriff. While Will wore a cornflower blue and red skirt and blue jeans underneath. Taranee wore a skirt with orange pants and a purple jacket over it. They were at some traffic lights when Taranee got a text from Cornelia telling her it was time for the surprise.

"Let's stop at Irma's house." Taranee then suggested. "I have to use the bathroom."

"My place is closer." Will suggested.

Taranee knew she needed a good excuse. "Yeah, but I can't use your bathroom. Because it's not on the ground floor. I have a rare fear of high toilets." She said much to Will and Irma's confusion. "Ohh I knew I should've asked Adam to do this!" She thought to herself.

As they arrived at Irma's house night had fallen. They looked to see Adam was there waiting for them. "Oh hey Adam what a surprise!" Taranee greeted.

Irma noticed the clothes that he was wearing. "Well aren't you nicely dressed up." She said with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah uh Taranee told me about this whole Boyzilla thing so I decided to join you." Adam explained.

"Really didn't think that was your thing?" Will questioned.

"Eh I'm trying new things." Adam explained. However before Will and Irma could enter the house, Taranee came up with a new excuse.

"Um... Could you two go to the kitchen through the living room and get me a big glass of water?"

Will and Irma looked at each other even more confused just what was with Taranee tonight? "No worries I'll go with you." Adam said as he winked at Taranee playing along to which she gave a thumbs up.

Their answer came as they came to the kitchen door. "Okay Adam just what is going on with Taranee tonight?" Irma asked.

"Well you'll find out," Adam said as he reached for the door. "in fact you'll find out right about…" He swung the door open and.

"SURPRISE!" Called loads of voices and Will looked to see everyone from school was in Irma's home.

Will was surprised but with a mixture of disappointment in both Irma and Adam. "You promised." She said.

However before Irma could say anything Cornelia appeared behind them and threw her arms around them. "Can you believe Irma didn't want to throw you a party just because you told her not to?" She said happily. "Give me 13 hugs, birthday girl."

Meanwhile:

While the party was in full swing, back in City Hall Park something was happening. The open portal was surging with energy as something was coming out of it. That something was a certain Meridian shapeshifter. Cedric emerged in his snake form but then shifted to his human form. However his scar from Battle Cat was still present. He looked around at his surroundings. Suddenly he came across a jogger who just noticed him.

"Hey pal you look a little lost?" The jogger said.

"Well in a way yes I am, I was wondering good sir is there a place where I would find records of say…ones birth in this city?" Cedric asked like a lost person innocently.

"Oh well that would be city hall it has all the records of people born here." The jogger answered. "But it's closed right now you'll have to wait till morning." He said.

"I see, well my thanks for your assistance." Cedric said rather grateful.

"No problem pal." The jogger said as he continued with his run. While Cedric bore a sinister smirk on his face now he knew where to find what it is he seeks.

Lair Residence:

Back at the Lair Residence everyone was dancing the night away as loud music and disco lights were playing. However the only one not enjoying herself was the birthday girl, who wasn't too happy with two certain individuals.

"I can't believe you did this." Will said to them.

"I had nothing to do with it." Irma tried to explain. Then Will looked at Adam glaring as he was the only other person who knew Will didn't want a party.

"Hey don't look at me, it was Cornelia's idea. I was thinking it would just be us, not turn it into an all out thing." Adam tried to explain.

"Clearly you don't know our resident party animal do you?" Irma questioned. Just then a boy showed up near Irma, he had messed up orange hair, glasses, blue eyes and wore a blue jacket and brown shorts.

"Hey, thanks for inviting me, sweet lips." Martin said rather flirty.

"I didn't invite you, Martin." Irma then exclaimed. "I didn't invite anyone. And don't you ever call me "sweet lips"."

"I didn't want to say in front of the other guests, but there were flies on your cupcakes." Martin explained as he had a small fly in his hand but it wasn't really a fly. "Don't worry, though, I pulled 'em off." He put it in his mouth and realised his mistake. "They're just raisins. Yeah, I'll put 'em back. They're in my pocket."

He walked away to put the raisins back and Irma just groaned in annoyance. "Wow so is he your boyfriend or something?" Adam asked.

"NO! He is not Adam, he was a friend of mine when we were kids but now he's got it in his head, we're soulmates and he's stalked me ever since!" Irma explained.

"Well he's determined I'll give him that." Adam said a little impressed. He then turned to see Will only to find she wasn't there she had gone to the drinks table. He wondered what was wrong. Just before he could go over to see what was was up.

"Hi Adam." Elyon showed up in front of him.

"Oh hey Elyon." Adam greeted.

"So you uh..want to dance?" She then asked.

"Well..I uh yeah sure why not?" Adam accepted. So with one smile from Elyon the two started dancing, sure Adam was a little rusty at Earth dancing but he soon settled into it.

City Hall:

Cedric had reached City Hall, and as he learned the door was locked. So he decided to do this the old fashion way. He transformed into his snake form and used his tail to smash down the door. The Snakeman slithered into City Hall. He went up the stairs and started looking for the records room.

Close to the hall a teenage boy was walking his dog nearby. His dog started sniffing the ground he started to bark getting his owners attention. He looks and sees the silhouette of a giant snake monster. He was instantly spooked.

Lair Residence:

Back at the party music was still blaring away, and Caleb had soon arrived but sat outside the window with Blunk below. "Blunk help with gift. Blunk go inside." Blunk argued.

"No, you can't. They've got enough frogs in there as it is. " Caleb told his Passling companion. "They have strange customs here. That guy's putting flies on little cakes."

Blunk seemed to like the sound of that despite not knowing the full details. "Sound good."

"Nice try your still staying out here." Caleb said as he went through the front door and joined the party. It didn't take Alchemy long to spot him.

As Caleb was getting a drink she came up to him. "Hi, remember me from the mall. Alchemy." She said giggling.

"Uh Caleb, from the mall." Caleb greeted her, just then Cornelia came into the picture.

"Back off, Alchemy." Cornelia said to her before she pulled the rebel leader away. "Stick with me or she'll tear you to pieces." she said.

Irma meanwhile was in the kitchen cleaning up all the muddy plates. When suddenly she caught sight of her dad going into the living room where the party was. "Dad, no!" She gasped as she hurried after him.

"I just want to get the remote." Her dad said as Irma pushed him back up the stairs.

"I don't throw parties while you are out of town, you do not embarrass me when you are in town." Irma explained to him knowing her parents tend to embarrass her from time to time.

On the dance floor Cornelia was dancing away, as was Adam and Elyon, the Eternian Prince had to admit he was really enjoying himself. As he danced he noticed Will was standing at the wall by herself, until Caleb came over.

"Hey it's Caleb." Adam said and that got Elyon's attention. So they went over to see them.

"Hey Caleb glad you made it." Adam greeted.

"Yeah I was just wishing Will a happy birthday." Caleb said and they noticed Will's present it seemed to be a wood carving of her in her guardian form with sparkling wings.

"Whoa that's amazing." Adam said amazed.

"Hey its Will! As a kind of fairy or something." Elyon noticed if only she knew the truth.

"Wow, aren't you talented." Will said amazed.

"Yeah didn't know you were an artist?" Adam said rather impressed.

"Well it was just a hobby of mine back home, I carved it from some old driftwood I found in Miss Lins basement. The wings are dragon scales." Caleb explained.

Adam and Will eyed each other at the mention of Dragon Scales. "He doesn't mean real dragon scales." Will laughed.

"Sure I do." Caleb said clearing it up.

"Uh yeah its an old art technique using uh paints to uh make them look realistic." Adam said covering it up. "Right." He then said to Caleb in a hinting tone. The rebel leader seemed to get the message.

"Oh yeah thats right an old technique back home." Caleb said. "I'm gonna get some snacks." He then went to get some snacks from the snack table.

Adam turned to Will only to find she'd left, he knew something was bugging her not just the whole surprise party, or the fact she thinks he and Irma broke their promise (even though it was Cornelia's idea).

"So Adam you want to dance some more?" Elyon asked him.

"Uh yeah excuse me for a minute Elyon." He said as he went to go find Will.

"Oh okay." Leaving Elyon alone so she picked up a doughnut on the side and just ate into it out of annoyance.

Hay Lin meanwhile was sitting on the couch eating some chocolate cake. Just then she noticed Blunk was bouncing outside wanting to see what was going on. She couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

"Aww poor Blunky." Hay Lin said and out of sympathy she pushed open the window and tossed some cake out for him.

"Aw thats sweet giving Blunk cake." Said a voice.

"Thanks Orko I…" Suddenly Hay Lin looked to see a certain Trollan in his earth disguise which he outfitted with sun glasses to hide his eyes. "Orko! What are you doing here?"

"Oh I wanted to take part in the party so I snuck in when you guys weren't looking." Orko explained. "Besides I helped Adam make Will's gift so I wanted to join in."

"But Orko someone could see you?!" Hay Lin reminded him.

"Hey relax, with this disguise I'm invisible!" Orko said as he used some magic to blast some air in the pants he wore to make them look like legs.

Meanwhile Will was in the kitchen by herself as she didn't want to be part of the party. She stood looking down a little down.

"Hey there you are." She looked up to see Adam was in the kitchen with her. "You know I don't know much about Earth parties but it's not like the birthday girl to miss out on her own party?"

"Yeah sure." Will said before looking down, Adam could see she was a little down in the dumps.

"Look, I'm sorry if it looked like I broke my promise but well. I get that some people don't like parties on their birthdays but well…" Adam tried but.

"No Adam its not that at all, its just well I don't have good experiences at parties thats all." Will said. "Especially when I've never had one with friends."

"Huh how'd you mean?" Adam asked with curiosity.

Will sighed before she decided to explain. "Well as you know I moved her from Fadden Hills and I did have some good friends back there. I even thought they were my best friends, but well one day when I was at a party something happened. See I was at a party with my friends and was cleaning up in the bathroom but well I suddenly had a feeling like something was wrong, so I went out and saw my friends talking, it turns out they never liked me they betrayed me, I was so crushed that I left the party without saying a word. I never told my mom but she could tell I was upset and since she recently divorced my dad she thought Fadden Hills had too many bad memories, and well the rest is history."

"What? How could they do that!" Adam was most surprised.

"Yeah its the reason why I didn't make many friends because I'm scared that one day they'll let me down or worse reject me." Will simply said.

"I…I'm so sorry Will. I had no idea, so I'm guessing it didn't help that I suggested Cornelia threw the party." Adam apologised sincerely.

"No i..its fine, but why do you care if I celebrate my birthday or not?" Will asked. "I mean you wouldn't have gone to so much trouble."

Now it was Adams turn to sigh. "Well I guess it's because you, the girls and Caleb are the first friends I've had outside of Teela and the Masters." This immediately peaked Wills attention. "Yeah this might be hard to realise but Adam Prince of Eternia doesn't have much experience with other friends. Since my royal duties don't give me much time to meet and greet new friends."

"Seriously?" Will questioned.

"Yeah, the only friends I've ever known were in the palace with Orko,Cringer, Teela and the Masters of the Universe. I've never had anyone else other than them. But then when I came here and met you and the others…I guess you guys understand me and here I get to be who I really am the Adam I have to hide to keep my loved ones safe. It's all sort of…new to me." Will was rather taken aback by how honest Adam was being, she realised the burden of Castle Grayskull took a greater toll on him than she or the others realised. "I guess I didn't want to mess anything up."

"I guess we're both new at something huh." Will smiled.

"Yeah but come on you have good friends now who would never reject you." Adam explained. "I'm sorry for what happened but Sy-Klone once said one must be less rigid when approaching a problem and be more flexible of mind." Will just looked confused by that statement. "Yeah I didn't get it either but the point is you shouldn't let the past define you now, so come on we've got good friends having a good time and I think maybe the birthday girl should celebrate."

Will could see how Adam was persistent in this and so she decided maybe it was time to enjoy herself. "You know your right and I can't resist a chocolate cake." She smiled and they headed out to the party.

When they came out they noticed some of the guests and Martin were throwing food out of the window. They saw Hay Lin standing with her head in her hand, though they had yet to notice a certain Trollan.

"Uh Hay Lin why is everyone throwing food out the window?" Will asked.

Hay Lin just sighed. "Ah well Martin caught Orko putting food out the window for Blunk and well I kinda made up the excuse about how it was a family tradition of throwing food out to grant wishes." She explained. "And it kinda got out of hand."

"Orko?!" Adam and Will said in surprise, and said Trollan in disguise peaked out from behind Hay Lin a little sheepish.

"Uh heheh ha..happy birthday Will." Orko said sheepishly.

"Oh boy." Adam said with a face plant.

Outside the house meanwhile hiding behind a bush was Uriah and his goon squad. They were planning to scare everyone with monster masks they bought from a costume store.

"When do we do it?" Clubber asked as Uriah sat down next to him and Kurt.

"We do it when I say we do it." Uriah answered.

"Sure thing, Uriah. When are you gonna say we do it?" Clubber then asked much to Uriah's irritation.

Back inside Hay Lin was helping Irma clean up some plates from the party. Just then they heard a radio sound off. "Hey Tom, it's probably a prank, but we got a call about some kind of lizard monster at City Hall. Can you pop over and check it out?"

"Lizard?" Irma wondered when suddenly she gasped as it dawned on her. "If it's that thing from Meridian, my dad could get hurt. Get Adam and the girls." So the two hurried to get their friends.

Upstairs in their room Irma's Parents Anna and Tom were reading either a book or the newspaper while the kids partied downstairs. Though they were disappointed they were missing out.

"I remember when we got to go to all of her little parties." Anna sighed.

Just then Irma hurried into the room. "Mom, Dad, some of us are going for pizza. Could you keep the party going until we get back?" She asked.

This made her parents shoot up in excitement. "Are you kidding? I'm a party animal." Tom said excited. "Hey, remember when I gave donkey rides for your fourth birthday?" He started imitating donkey noises much to his daughters embarrassment.

"Dad, please, don't talk me out of this." Irma said when she left.

"Come on, honey, let's show these kids how it's done." Tom said to his wife before he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Back downstairs Hay Lin had told Will and the others what was going on. While Elyon was enjoying a drink she was suddenly she tripped on the rug and nearly fell. Adam quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her up.

"Whoa careful." Adam said to her as he'd also caught the drink she dropped as well.

"Wow great reflexes." Elyon said amazed.

"Thanks my Dad always says I need to keep my skills sharp, you know in case of trouble." Adam explained.

"Well he's right so you train a lot?" Elyon asked with dreamy eyes.

"Yeah, it can get a bit tough at times but…" "Adam!" Adam was interrupted when Irma came over.

"Hey sorry but me and the others are going out for pizza, we could use some help." Irma explained. "Especially if there's a snake problem." She said the last part in a hinting tone which told Adam there was trouble.

"Uh yeah sorry Elyon I gotta go, we'll be back with the pizza later." Adam said as he hurried off to find Orko. Leaving Elyon with a dreamy smile on her face as she wrapped her arms on her shoulders.

"Ahhh wrap him up I'll take him." She said dreamily.

Orko was busy dancing around waving his arms in the air like he just didn't care until his fun was cut short. "Orko!" He jumped when he saw Adam standing above him. "We've got trouble Cedric maybe here on Earth. Get Cringer and meet us at City Hall Park."

"Aww but I was having so much fun." Orko said.

"Orko!" Adam said lightly scolding him.

"Okay! Okay I'm going!" The Trollan complained as he disappeared in a puff of magic light.

Adam joined the girls as they hurried out, Cornelia looked back to see Caleb talking to Alchemy and some other girls as well. "Yeah, scales are pretty sharp." Caleb explained.

"Really." Alchemy and some of the other girls said dreamily.

"The world had better be in serious danger for me to leave Caleb with those girls." Cornelia said rather annoyed.

"Are you dudes and dudettes ready to paaaarty?" Tom Lair said as he and his wife came down with a box of party stuff.

It was then that Caleb noticed Will, Adam and the rest of the girls leave the party. He could see something was wrong. "Where are Will and Irma going?" He asked the girls.

"Oh they left to get Pizza." Elyon explained.

"Whats that?" Caleb asked. To which the girls all laughed and said how funny and cute Caleb was being.

The girls and Adam hurried off and Caleb knew something must be up. "You ladies will have to excuse me." With that he opened the window and leaped out of it much to the surprise and amazement of the girls and Alchemy he then went of to find his own sidekick while Alchemy looked all dreamy at Caleb.

Blunk meanwhile was passed out on the ground, mostly because he'd overstuffed himself with party snacks. He gave a belch in eating too much. It was a miracle he didn't get indigestion.

"Blunk!" Caleb said nudging him awake causing Blunk to yelp.

However just as Adam and the girls were leaving, they were watched by three certain school bullies. They were still behind the bush as they saw an opportunity.

"Aw, man, five of them and that new guy too together. Too perfect. Let's go." Uriah said all too eager.

"I don't know Uriah that guy looks tough." Kurt said a little concerned as he saw Adam's muscular build.

"Oh will you quit being a wuss come on!" Uriah said as he lead his cronies to follow them. It was then Caleb had noticed them come out from their hiding spot.

"Whats the Creep Family up to?" He said suspiciously, before he looked to Blunk. "Come on, you can make yourself useful." He said as he went after them with Blunk following close behind.

City Hall Park:

Sometime much later Adam and the girls were in the park, they waited as their were two members of their party were still absent. Cornelia was getting bored.

"Whats taking them so long?" Cornelia said.

"Hey chill Corny they'll be here. Besides this is Orko we're talking about." Irma explained.

Then right on cue in a bright magic light appeared above them and tumbling down was Cringer who ended up in the pond with a splash. Orko now back in his Wizard robes then floated down to join him.

"Ohhhh why does this always happen to me why oh why oh why." Cringer groaned.

"Eh heheh sorry Cringer." Orko said embarrassed. Soon everyone was gathered on the park bench, and Hay Lin showed them the parchment/map that her grandmother had shown her and Adam earlier.

"Huh it's not much of a map?" Orko questioned.

"What good is a map that doesn't show anything?" Irma asked.

"She said it was activated by the crystal." Hay Lin explained and so Will pulled out said Heart of Kandrakar and placed it over the map. Almost immediately the map revealed itself much to the surprise of everyone.

"Hey look." Cringer said as appearing on the map were three 'X' marks two were red and one was green.

"These look like markings." Adam realised.

"Yeah it's the school, and the alleyway behind the mall." Hay Lin said looking at the locations.

"The alley." Adam remembered. "Wait thats where me and Will were ambushed by Cedric and his minions!"

"Yeah and the school was where we found the portal that took us to Meridian when we tried to save you guys." Orko realised.

"Its the first two portals we've closed." Taranee realised.

"Well Miss Lin said this map showed where the portals were." Adam realised.

"Hold on, there's a third one." Will pointed out looking at the third X. "Where's this?"

Hay Lin looked at the map and saw where it was. "Ah We're standing in it. It's City Hall Park."

The group looked around for any sign of the portal, however Cringer looked up and saw a light from City Hall. He yelped in fright when he saw something. Cornelia noticed that he was spooked.

"Hey whats up Cringer?" She asked, Will and Adam looked and saw a shadow moving through the building.

"Something tells me it's not the cleaning staff." Will realised. Adam didn't hesitate he removed the buckle from his belt and it transformed into the Sword of Power.

"Orko you go find the portal, meet us inside when you find it." He said to the wizard.

Orko nodded and floated away to track down the open portal. They could use the heart to close it later. Adam and the girls arrived at City Hall and found the door had been broken open by something pretty big.

"Cedric's here alright." Adam realised looking at the remains of the door. Cringer and Taranee gulped in fright.

"Uh m..maybe we should come back later." Cringer trembled.

"Or better yet call the police." Taranee then suggested.

"Sorry guys but for this kind of problem we are the police" Will said as they entered.

"I was afraid you'd say that." Taranee said a little afraid.

"Don't worry Taranee just stay close to Cringer." Adam said to her though it was more Cringer who was sticking close to Taranee.

They entered the hall with Adam taking point with his sword at the ready. The lobby was completely quiet and deserted, but it was all too quiet. Still the quietness meant they wouldn't be disturbed.

Outside the hall however Uriah and his crew, arrived and found a way in the back entrance. With every intention of wanting to scare the girls. Caleb and Blunk were in the nearby alley, he knew he couldn't let these punks see the girls let alone Adam as their alter egos. Fortunately he had just the Passling for the job.

"Come on. I promised Cornelia I wouldn't do anything to the Creep Brothers. But you didn't." Caleb told him. Blunk however looked a little worried.

"Okay guys time to get our game faces on." Will said as she pulled out the heart and said the magic words. "GUARDIANS UNITE!" The heart surged with energy as it began to transform the girls.

At the same time Adam held aloft his Sword of Power. "BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL!" The sword hilt unlocked and twisted as the power from Castle Grayskull surged from Eternia and struck the sword transforming the Eternian Prince.

"The Heart!" Will exclaimed.

"Water!" Irma exclaimed.

"Fire!"Taranee exclaimed.

"Earth!" Cornelia exclaimed.

"Air" Hay Lin exclaimed.

"I..HAVE…THE POWER!" He-Man proclaimed.

One epic and magical transformation later the girls and Adam were fully transformed into their alter egos of He-Man and the Guardians of the Veil.

However there was still one yet to transform, namely Cringer. "Oh noooo!" Cringer whined as he tried to run away but it was no good one point and blast from He-Man's sword Cringer was transformed into the mighty Battle Cat with an earsplitting roar.

The group now stood assembled. "All right! Anyone want lizard on their pizza?" Irma asked.

"I think we'll be taking that to go." He-Man agreed.

A few floors above them loud crashing noises could be heard and books went flying out of the room. Inside Cedric now in human form had completely torn apart the records room looking for birth records. He growled in frustration tossing aside a box of papers.

"These are ancient! The girl is only in her teens." Cedric growled. "I need more recent records."

He moved to slam the door shut, but by some luck he'd found boxes containing more records. He looked at the dates marked on the labels and saw they were more recent. He smirked knowing this was what he was looking for.

In the lobby He-Man jammed his sword into the lift doors and pried them open slightly before he pulled them open with his bare hands. Will then kicked in a stone bench as He-Man jumped out of the way so it slotted into the lift doors.

"Battle Cat you stay here and keep watch in case Cedric doubles back." He-Man said to his loyal companion who growled and nodded in agreement.

"Then the rest of us go up." Will said as they went to the elevator.

"Why don't we just take the elevator?" Taranee asked.

"Thats not the wise course of action the noise could alert Cedric to our presence we need to take him by surprise." He-Man explained.

"Yeah besides this thing dings like a microwave we might as well go round shouting over here come kill us!" Will said dramatically.

"Good point. Let's fly up." Taranee got the point.

"He-Man you won't be able to bound up the noise could alert Cedric. Cornelia, Irma you'll have to carry him." Will then said to the water and earth guardians.

Will and Taranee flew into the air with Hay Lin close behind. Cornelia and Irma carried He-Man by his arms as they flew up the shaft, though it wasn't easy. He was incredibly heavy.

"Geeze you need to cut down on the protein bars big guy!" Irma growled in effort.

Thankfully with a lot of effort and strength, they arrived on the top floor. They moved down the hallway with He-Man taking point it was then he noticed an open door. He held his hand up telling the girls to stop, he pointed to the open door. He placed his hand on his sword as the girls readied their powers.

Quickly He-Man zoomed in with his sword while Irma, Hay Lin and Taranee appeared with their powers at the ready.

"Air!" Hay Lin readied air blasts.

"Fire!"Taranee exclaimed with her fist ignighted with fire.

"Water!" Irma had her hand like a gun with water blobs at the ready. Will and Cornelia poked their heads around the corner, only to see there was no-one there but a messy room with papers all over the place.

"Hey guys!" The girls screamed as Irma, Taranee and Hay Lin fired at what was behind them with their powers. When they opened their eyes they looked and saw there was no one there. Orko then floated up with a small candle flame on the tip of his hat. He doused it by pinching it in his fingers. "Yikes that was close."

"Orko!" Cornelia exclaimed. "Give a girl a heart attack why don't you!"

"Yeah you should know better than to sneak up on us like that!" Hay Lin scolded.

"Sorry." Orko apologised. "But I found the portal, so where's tall dark and scaly?" He said readying his fists. "Let me at'em I'll give him the old one two!"

"Sorry to disappoint you champ, but looks like we missed him." Irma gestured to the messy room. Orko floated in to look around. He-Man entered sheathing his sword in his harness.

"But he was here this whole room is ransacked." He-Man noticed. "It looks like he was looking for something."

Orko hovered down and looked at the papers on the floor, he picked up a small book. "Hey whats this?"

"Let me see Orko." Taranee asked kneeling down, Orko handed her the book, and she took a look. "Hm these are birth records, specifically records for the female population of Heatherfield." Taranee read.

"Wait there are records for that?" Orko asked.

"Yes Orko and we have them in Eternia as well, they're kept in the hall of records under the Royal Palace." He-Man reminded the Trollan Wizard.

"Ohh yeah." Orko remembered.

"Okay but what does a big nasty lizard want with birth records?" Taranee wondered.

"Maybe there's something in here that might give us a clue." He-Man guessed.

"Right everyone look around and see what you can find." Will suggested.

The Lobby:

Back in the lobby Uriah and his crew were looking for their unsuspecting victims with their scary masks on. Little did they know they too were being watched. Blunk and Caleb were hiding behind one of the pillars.

"Maybe Blunk too pretty to scare boys." Blunk said a little worried.

"I'll risk it." Caleb said with a serious face.

The three boys then turned around as a shadow appeared behind them. However all they saw was Blunk growling and coughing like a monster. Sadly though it didn't seem to phase them.

"Dude, is that a big, green monkey?" Clubber asked from behind his mask.

"MUUUUUDDDD!" Blunk roared, and strangely it worked the bullies ran of screaming in fright. The Passling looked rather proud of himself. "And don't come back!"

Blunks optimism however, was short lived, as when he turned around he saw what really scared those bullies. Towering above him was Cedric in his snake form. Blunk screamed his lungs out at the very sight of him.

The Records Room:

Meanwhile the Guardians and He-Man were looking at all the papers and books scattered all over the floor. Orko floated as he read one book from the shelf.

"I don't get it why would Lizard boy go to the trouble of trashing this room for birth records?" Hay Lin wondered.

"I'm not sure, but he was after something but what?" He-Man questioned.

"Well looks like the only thing missing is female birth records from about 13 years ago." Taranee found in the empty boxes as Will came over to take a look.

Suddenly a large scream and a roar echoed through the building. "WHA…What was that!" Orko exclaimed.

"Its coming from the lobby!" Will realised.

"Then lets not keep him waiting." He-Man said.

The Lobby:

Blunk found himself backed up to one of the head busts in the lobby as Cedric towered above him with deadly intent.

"What are you doing on this side of the veil? Smuggler!" Cedric demanded.

"Retailer!" Blunk corrected in terror. He dived out of the way to avoid Cedrics tail which crushed the head bust into rubble. The Passling quickly hid in the curtains.

"Hey, scale face!" Called a voice, Cedric turned to see Caleb latch onto his neck trying to restrain him but the snake man kept swaying and swinging, and slammed Caleb into the pillars behind him and around him to make him let go. Eventually Cedric grabbed Caleb by the shirt and tossed him into the nearby pillar which dented with a crack. Caleb fell to the ground.

"Now to finish you pest!" Cedric hissed as he raised his fists to crush the rebel leader. In that moment help arrived as a familiar roar got the giant snakes attention as Battle Cat rammed into him head first sending the snake crashing into the wall.

Cedric glared as he recovered. "YOU!" He roared as Battle Cat stood ready to pounce at his opponent. He leaped forwards and tried to pin him down only for Cedric to cross his arms blocking his attack. He then whipped his tail around the giant cats body and tossed him to the nearby pillar.

Battle Cat however wasn't ready to give up so easily he stood up and charged at his opponent. Cedri slithered forwards and slammed his fists to send a shockwave through the floor. Battle Cat leaped on the rubble and then pounced at Cedric only for the giant snake to grab him in his coils.

"Now I crush you like a rat in a trap!" Cedric said with a sadistic smile ready to exact his revenge on the beast who scarred him. Battle Cat could feel the snake mans crushing grip around his body.

Caleb quickly recovered and ran to help Battle Cat by leaping onto Cedrics back once again only for him to try and grab him.

Luckily for the two of them reinforcements arrived down the lift shaft. Cornelia landed first followed by the other Guardians, Orko and He-Man.

"Caleb! Battle Cat!" Cornelia cried as she leaped out of the shaft. "I hope this works like it did in practice!" She placed her hand on the ground cracking the tilled stones and sent the rocks flying at the snake even pulling up a water pipe.

The rock pieces soared at Cedric hitting him hard forcing him to release his grip on Battle Cat and Caleb leaped off to the ground. The tiger breathed hard but was unharmed.

"You okay big cat?" Caleb asked. Battle Cat groaned in response but nodded letting him know he was okay.

Cedric turned his attention to his enemies who had their powers and sword at the ready. "Time the Guardians and the troublesome He-Man learned a lesson in humility!"

Cedric swung his tail at his enemies who were quick to scatter, but Will was too slow and was swatted by the tail and sent crashing to the ground with a scream. He-Man immediately leapt at Cedric and delivered a flying kick and with his immense strength catapulted him backwards. However Cedric was quick to recover as he roared and charged at the champion. He-Man drew his sword and charged as well. The snake man pulled rocks from the ground and tossed them at He-Man only for him to quickly slice them apart with his sword.

Suddenly a large gust of wind blasted him back and it was from Hay Lin she quickly used her powers to blast the carpet over Cedric's face blinding him. "Get him now Battle Cat!" Hay Lin called and Battle Cat charged at Cedric, leaped and swatted him back with his tail pushing him back.

"Irma try and lure him under the chandelier!" Will called.

Then it was Irma's turn she concentrated and summoned the water from the pipe bursting it at the seams. The water blasted Cedric across the room and slid on the floor right under the chandelier.

"Taranee now!" Will called out. Taranee was under the chain holding the chandelier and used her powers to melt through the chain and the chandelier landed right on top of the giant snake man.

"Yeah!" Hay Lin cheered. "We bad!" However Cedric wasn't so easily defeated and tossed away the chandelier then swatted his tail hitting Hay Lin but missed Cornelia. Hay Lin crashed into the curtain that Blunk was hiding behind pulling it down as she fell.

"Uhhh now I know what Adam said about not getting cocky." Hay Lin groaned. Suddenly she found herself at the mercy of Cedric who was ready to crush her with his fists.

"Pathetic!" He hissed and was about to crush her when suddenly Orko appeared and from his magic hands sparks of fire burst out practically blinding Cedric as he roared in anger.

"Heh ha! now thats a blinding flash!" Orko cheered.

"Thanks Orko." Hay Lin thanked. Cedric roared as he swatted the Trollan with his arm right across the room and into the pillar. He fell to the ground unconscious. "Orko!" Hay Lin cried.

Cedric then turned his attention to Cornelia slithering towards her as he readied himself to strike. "Earth!" Cornelia proclaimed erecting a wall of stone around her but Cedric smashed and bashed the wall with his strength knowing the Earth Guardian couldn't keep it up forever.

"A little help here!" Cornelia grunted with effort.

He-Man rushed to her aid as he mounted Battle Cat and rode towards him with his sword screeching on the ground. The two leaped in the air with its rider and He-Man leaped off the saddle and slammed his sword to the ground sending out a shock wave erecting more rocks.

"Now Cornelia!" He-Man called and the blonde guardian knew what to do she turned her concentration on the ammunition the Champion of Grayskull had provided. She moved her hand and the rocks slammed right into Cedric pushing him back. This allowed He-Man to leap up and grab him from behind.

"Cedric you were sent here for something but what?!" He-Man demanded. "What have you to gain by breaking into this hall?!"

"GRRR! More than you will ever know He-Man!" Cedric roared as he grabbed He-Man by the head and tossed him away only for Battle Cat to catch him.

Will picked up Caleb by the hand flying into the air and swung him round and round until finally she let go. Caleb slammed into Cedric feet first forcing the snake man back. However Cedric simply grabbed his leg and threw him back to Will sending her crashing to the ground.

Taranee quickly flew in to back them up. "FIRE!" She fired several fire balls at Cedric blinding him giving Will and Cedric time to recover. At the same time Irma summons a large amount of water and Cornelia introduces earth chunks into it. They fired it at Cedric but he just swatted it away. Forcing the girls together as Hay Lin held the unconscious Orko in her arms. Cedric grabbed one of the pillars and yanked it out of the ground ready to use it to crush them.

"CORNELIA!" Irma yelled. And aforementioned blonde flew in and stood her ground. Cedric tossed the pillar at her only for her to hold it in place with her influence in the stone.

It was in this moment that Caleb noticed how amazing she was and beautiful too, wait why was he thinking this. Cornelia focused and shattered the pillar to pieces which took Cedric by surprise.

"Hes all yours He-Man!" Cornelia called and said champion had recovered and sheathed away his sword.

"I've always wanted to try this!" He then slammed his hands together sending out a massive shockwave which blasted Cedric into the front wall shattering the glass of the windows and damaging the front door.

The noise was more than enough to cause a commotion and certainly earned the attention of the police. Patrol cars zoomed over the bridge with their sirens blaring.

Back at City Hall Cedric recovered but was met by the tip of He-Man's sword. "Its over Cedric, yield!" he said however Cedric simply swatted He-Man away into a pillar and picked up the papers he'd taken.

"Savour your victory here fools for I have what I came for!" Cedric proclaimed. "But we shall meet again I promise you that!" He slithered away into the shadows leaving our heroes completely alone.

Battle Cat was ready to pursue him. "No Battle Cat, let him go. I think he's had enough for now." Their focus right now was on their wounded, namely Orko who still sat unconscious in Hay Lins arms.

"Orko! Orko are you okay?" Hay Lin said hoping he was okay as that was a bad hit he took. Thankfully the small Trollan groaned as he opened his eyes to see the Guardians, Caleb, Blunk and He-Man standing over him.

"Uhhh am I in Great Preternia?" Orko groaned. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief to know he was fine.

"No your in Heatherfield little guy." Cornelia said happily.

They soon heard the sounds of police sirens drawing near. "I suggest we take our leave before the authorities arrive." He-Man suggested seeing the battle ground and damage before them.

"Wow…it looks like my room." Irma said.

"No worries." Orko said floating out of Hay Lin's arms. "I'll have this cleaned up in no time." He wiggled his fingers and the whole room was blinded in a flash of light.

Moments later Orko lead He-Man and the Guardians to the open portal that Cedric had no doubt escaped through by now. Will presented the heart before the portal.

"And take your slimy portal with you." Will said as the energy surged from the Heart of Kandrakar and the portal instantly sealed shut. The light faded from the heart revealing the guardians back in their human forms, and He-Man and Battle Cat had reverted to Adam and Cringer after using the sword.

Meridian:

In the dark corners of Meridian a beastly bird flew to the castle, where its master Prince Phobos was waiting for them on the balcony. It landed on the princes arm. Cedric now in human form had returned.

"My prince despite the interference from the Guardians and He-Man, I have the Earth papers that will help us locate your sister." Cedric reported.

"Excellent, you have done well Cedric." Phobos said. "Time to start planning a family reunion." He said cackling as his bird squawked.

Earth: Heatherfield City Hall:

The police had arrived at City Hall after hearing a disturbance. Tom Lair who had just gotten word of the call was now inside the building with a flash light looking around. He was looking for any signs of robbers. Suddenly he heard a banging noise coming from the lockers nearby.

He opened it and what does he find. Uriah, Clubber and Kurt scared out of their whits. "Don't eat us!" Clubber begged.

"Has the giant snake gone?" Kurt asked in terror.

It was clear to Tom that this was a simple prank. "Well you boys can tell me all about giant snakes down at the station."

Elsewhere:

Meanwhile Adam, Caleb, Orko and the girls had dropped off Cringer at the Silver Dragon, but made a pit stop at a local pizza place to pick up some pizza which they each carried. Once they did they made their way back to the party, with the promise of bringing Cringer back some birthday cake. However they were still thinking about why Cedric would go to the trouble of searching for birth certificates.

"Birth certificates?" Taranee wondered.

"Of girls our age. Is Phobos looking for us?" Will wondered also.

"Who wouldn't? I mean, we are kick-butt cute." Cornelia said as she swished her hair back.

"Ain't that the truth." Caleb thought to himself looking at Cornelia, but still why was he thinking this?

"I don't think so Cornelia, I mean I know Phobos knows Will, has the Heart but I don't think he's after you guys." Adam guessed.

"Yeah and didn't Caleb say that the true heir to the Meridian throne is here on Earth?" Orko asked now in his casual earth attire.

Taranee began to see what the two were getting at. "Oh I get it they're using the birth records to narrow down the search to those who were born here, and those who weren't."

"It makes sense, the rightful heir to the throne was brought here by a caretaker years ago through the veil." Caleb explained. "So they will have done well to hide her presence but if they have these birth records."

"They already have a head start on us, which is gonna make finding her a whole lot more difficult." Adam realised. This did put a grim atmosphere over everyone but Orko decided to lighten up the mood.

"Hey come on guys we can beat the bad guys later right now we have a party to get back to!" Orko cheered.

However Irma groaned at that statement heaven only knew what her parents had done to the party in their absence. "Orko I don't know if you know this, but my parents have been ruining my party for an hour. I hope you guys like pizza. There isn't gonna be anyone left in my house to eat it."

When they reached the house Hay Lin and Orko looked rather surprised and elated at what they saw when Irma came over. "Well, you're right. They're not in your house." Hay Lin said.

Irma had a look of amazement with a wide smile as the party was still on. Her mother was leading a conga-line as they danced the cha cha.

"Whoo! Da-du-du-du-du-du! Come on! Limbo is next!" Anna said to the kids.

"Da-du-du-du-du-du! Whoo! Da-du-du-du-du-du! Whoo!" The party guests cheered.

This gave Hay Lin an idea. "Hey who wants to see magic at the hands of a real magician!" She said pointing to Orko, and the little Trollan couldn't help himself.

"Be amazed and bewildered by the power of…." Orko in a flash turned into his wizards robes. "Orko the Great!" He proclaimed showing a series of juggling balls as he juggled with them. "At no point my hands leave my wrists."

The guests were all amazed as Hay Lin pulled him over to show off his tricks. Cornelia pulled Caleb inside. Adam just shook his head smiling before he turned his attention to Will who was completely amazed.

"Okay Earth parties are way crazier than what we have back home." Adam chuckled.

"Yeah, but I'll admit it's one of the better birthday parties I've had." Will admitted.

"Yeah." Adam agreed then he remembered. "Oh wait I almost forgot." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box wrapped in purple wrapping paper.

"Wait you got me a present?" Will said rather surprised.

"Kind of, go on open it." Adam insisted. So Will took the present and unwrapped it to show a box, she took the lid off and inside was a small amulet with strange symbols and what looked like a closed lotus on the top.

"Oh uh…what is it?" Will asked.

"Touch the top." Adam smiled.

Curious Will touched the lotus flower at the top, and miraculously the symbols on the amulet lit up in golden light and the lotus opened revealing the jewel inside. The light from the jewel shone and illuminating from it, were images, or rather memories. It was memories of her, Adam and the girls. From when they first met, showing Adam around the city, the mall, and the amusement pier one memory was when they were in the Photo Booth.

"What are…" Will said amazed.

"Its a Memoriam Amulet, it's an Eternian craft that my father taught me when I was a kid, and his father taught him." Adam explained. "It holds cherished memories of the one it's meant for."

Will honestly didn't know what to say, words couldn't even described it. "You..you made this for me?"

"Yeah its like I said before I don't have friends outside of Teela or the others, and when I first came here you and the others made me feel welcomed here, who understand what I feel and the burden we share." Adam explained in the spirit of honesty. "Thanks to you I have friends who accept the real me, and I wanted to show you how much I really appreciate it."

Will was completely lost for words, even when she moved here she had doubts about making friends, for fear they may leave or betray her as her old friends did. However when she met the girls they were nothing but accepting of her, Adam most of all, and despite everything he's been nothing but encouraging and supportive probably because he understands her most of all. Looking at all these memories it was then she understood she had true friends who would stick with her through thick and thin.

Out of nowhere she just hugged the Eternian Prince out of sheer joy. Adam was most taken aback. "Ah heh whats this for?"

"Thank you Adam, it's the best gift I could ask for." She said with traces of tears in her eyes. Adam gave a warm smile himself as he returned the embrace.

"Happy birthday Will." Adam said warmly. Just as Irma joined in on the hug.

"Yeah Happy birthday, Pink-poopy-perky-pumpkin." Irma said in a teasing manner. The three broke the hug and she eyed the two in a light scolding manner.

"Hey you know what would be a great gift?" She said. "For you to never say that again."

"Whats that poopy." Irma teased to which they all laughed.

"Ohho okay come we best make sure Orko doesn't go wild with his magic again." Adam chuckled so with that Irma and Adam headed inside to join the party. Will placed the amulet in her coat pocket while holding the pizzas.

"Hey need some help with that?" Came a voice she looked and saw a boy with long dark hair offering some help.

"Uh yeah thanks." Will said blushing and the boy took the pizzas from her hands.

"I guess your boyfriend couldn't help huh?" He said.

"Wha oh oh no no Adams not my boyfriend he's just a friend who moved her recently." Will explained blushing even further.

"Oh right sorry. Uh I'm Matt by the way Matt Olsen." Matt introduced.

"Uh Will, Will Vandom." Will introduced blushing and so the two headed in to join the party. This had to be the best birthday that Will had ever had.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone cheered.

Moral:

Everyone inside the house was dancing away at all the music in the party. While Irma was sat on the couch as she looked at Will enjoying herself with her friends.

"Birthdays are a very precious thing, and something to be celebrated." Irma said looking at the fourth wall. "Because the people around you want to show you how much they love, care and appreciate you. No matter what happened in the past."

Orko then hovered over to her. "Uh hey Irma I've finally got the perfect birthday present for Will."

Irma looked a little concerned about that part. "Oh boy not an exploding music box again!"

"Nope." Orko said as he pulled out a small cake with icing on. "A simple cake with a little bit of magic." However when Orko wiggled his free fingers the cake expanded and blew up in his face as dough went all over him. "Uh, a little too much."

Irma just couldn't help but laugh at her little friends misfortune. "Ah well its the effort that counts." Irma then looked to the fourth wall with a wink. "Until next time."

Authors notes: And...scene! Well looks like Will's had a birthday to remember but now Cedric has gained information that could aid Phobos in the search for his sister. Now for this chapter I wanted to explore Adam a bit namely how he had no other friends outside of Teela, Cringer, Orko, The Sorceress or the Masters of the Universe and I also wanted him to share that with Will. Because according to some research I found in the WITCH comics Will could read minds hence she learned her Fadden Hills friends didn't really enjoy her company. I knew that didn't make it into the TV series so I just adapted it a bit as all great fan fic writers do.

Now you can probably guess what I was watching when I made the scene of Adam crafting the Memoriam Amulet. Also took some inspiration from the classic He-Man series as well.

Now onto the next chapter!

Until next time.
