Later...

While Fitz was asleep, Olivia and Sophie were watching a movie together.

"Mommy, I want more popcorn" she said.

"Let's go and make some more popcorn," she said, taking Sophie with her into the kitchen.

While Sophie waited for Olivia to make more popcorn, she started saying random things.

"Mommy, I know I can't talk to strangers. I'm sorry?" she said.

"What? Who did you talk to?" said Olivia without understanding what she was saying.

"The woman"

"What woman? What are you talking about, Sophie?"

"The woman in Grandma's garden," she said.

Olivia was confused, handed Sophie the popcorn and told her to continue watching the movie, while she called Maya.

"Liv" said Maya.

"Everything okay?" Olivia asked.

"Yes"

"Mom, did you have any visitors at the weekend?"

"No, just me, your dad and Sophie"

"She's saying that she saw a woman in the garden" said Olivia.

"She told me about it, but I looked and couldn't find anyone. I think it's her imagination," said Maya.

"Mom, are you sure? I said I'd send the security guard with her, but my father is so stubborn," her motherly instinct kicked in.

"Liv, your father feels like a useless old man if he can't protect the family, the house... he says he doesn't need the security of any white man in a suit and tie here in our house, you know your father, he's as stubborn as you are," said Maya.

"I know how my father is... I trust you two to take care of my Sophie. I just, I worry about her" said Olivia looking at Sophie eating popcorn and smiling at the movie.

"I understand, you're a mom and I was just like you when you were her age. I love you," said Maya.

"I love you too, Mom," she said.

Sophie shouted "I want to go back to Grandma's" and Maya said she would wait for her.

Olivia hung up and continued watching her movie with Sophie.

Another day...

Olivia and Fitz dropped Sophie off at school together and went to the company.

Abby returned from her vacation.

"Are you all right, Abby?"

"Yes, apart from the fact that Josh doesn't want to be a father and I want to be a mother. I find your love for Sophie so beautiful... I just want to have a family."

"Abby, you need to be patient... you know how many fights Fitz and I had, until we got to where we are today. it was hard..."

"He and I have good sex, our relationship is good and I really enjoy being around him," said Abby.

"Everything will be fine, now I have to go... I have to interview the job applicants" Olivia walked out and entered Fitz's office.

"Baby, I need to talk to you about a job candidate," she said.

"Who?" he asked.

"This one" she walked over to his desk and showed him Stephen's CV.

"His father worked here at the company, I remember that, because he was accused of theft and that gave my lawyers some headaches, but in the end his father lost the case against the company," said Fitz.

"Cyrus told me part of the story, was it proven that he stole?"

"He was accused by two coworkers, who claimed that he stole"

"His resume is incredible, do you think there's a problem hiring him?"

"I don't think so, baby... if he's not like his father. But if he is, he'll be fired just the same," he said, as he reached up and stroked her cheek.

"Okay, baby..." Fitz pulled her waist close to his.

"Fitz, let's not fuck now... there's no point in looking at me like that," she said smiling at him.

"You look so sexy" he sniffed her neck.

"I'm always sexy"" she said

"That's true" he whispered to her.

"I love you" he said.

"Me too I love you" she said, kissed him and left the room.

Olivia interviewed several candidates for the job.

When it came time for her to interview Stephen, she asked him to talk about his work experience and his management skills.

"Your CV is very good," she said.

"I graduated from one of the best colleges in the country and I certainly have a lot to add here at Grant," he said.

"I'd like to touch on a personal matter, if it's not a problem for you. your father..." Olivia said.

"No problem," he said.

Stephen has a mysterious personality and Olivia was trying to decipher him in a few minutes, before hiring him as an employee.

"What happened to him doesn't change your desire to work here?" she asked, a little suspicious of his intentions.

"If my father made a mistake, then the company did the right thing. That doesn't change my desire to work here... the Grant company is a great reference" he said, looking at her.

"I'm still interviewing other candidates and I'll get back to you soon," Olivia said and Stephen left the room.

Then Olivia and Fitz went together to pick Sophie up from school.

Sophie saw that her mother and father were together waiting for her and ran out to the car.

"How was class, my princess?" asked Fitz.

"I learned a lot and played with my friends," she said.

"Sophie, did that girl stop saying mean things to you?" Olivia asked.

"Yes, Mommy.."

"Are you sure?" Olivia asked.

"Yes," she shook her head and smiled.

Fitz started the car and he directed towards their new home, which they wanted to show Sophie together.

"We have a surprise for you," said Fitz.

"What?" Sophie started shouting.

"We're coming," said Olivia. Fitz was approaching the house, they asked Sophie to close her eyes and he parked.

Olivia got out of the car first, opened the door for Sophie and put her hands on her eyes.

Fitz got out of the car, Olivia took her hands away from her eyes and said, "This is going to be our new home..."

Sophie smiled and immediately said "Is this beautiful house going to be ours too?" and she ran out into the garden.

Olivia and Fitz stood there admiring her happiness as she ran around the huge garden of the house.

Fitz held Olivia's hands and whispered to her "Thank you for the family you've given me. I love you so much".

Olivia hugged him "This is our family, I love you so much more"

Soon after, they took Sophie to see her new room and then went to analyze the changes the architect had made to the house.
