What to expect: In this chapter, Gregory wonders why Moon always flies around in the Daycare and Sun doesn't. In the meantime they make a guest list for the boy and update Sun/Moon with upgrades to keep them from getting hacked again.

Chapter 2- Zip-line mishaps

After his first naptime in the Daycare, Gregory was busy at work answering questions for Sun. The purpose of being interviewed by the Daycare Attendant was so that Gregory can work on getting a guest profile, and so that he can make the S.T.A.F.F. bots stop causing a ruckus whenever he runs around the mall. "Who is your favorite Animatronic and why?" Sun starts off with this question, taking out a notebook and a red crayon to write with.

"Freddy because he wants to keep me safe. And I want to add Sun and Moon too because they are fun to play around with." Gregory answers honestly, earning a smile from the Daycare Attendant when he heard the response.

"What's your favorite TV show?"

"I don't watch any TV." Gregory answers with a shake of his head. Sun could be seen breathing a sigh of relief at that answer. He really didn't want kids to be stuck on the TV, especially at the Daycare when they are supposed to have fun.

"What's your biggest fear?"

"Being killed by robots." Gregory shrugs his shoulders, thinking it was obvious. "And losing someone I trust."

"What would you say is your biggest strength?"

"Easy, stealth. I have been sneaking around a lot of places and I am good at it." Gregory says with confidence.

"What's your favorite color?"

"That's easy! Blue!" Gregory smiles at his answer.

"Do you prefer to eat sweet food or savory?"

"Can I say both? I'm honestly not picky." Gregory cocks an eyebrow at the question. Sun writes it down in his notes.

"What do you hope to be when you grow up?"

Gregory takes a moment to think about the question. "I guess I would like to be a security officer when I grow up."

Sun sets down his red crayon and looks over his note of the things he asked Gregory and said, "Okay! I think this will be a good start for now. Lets head on over to the Security Desk and get that profile list set up!" Sun marches over to the Security Desk with Gregory following after him and waits on the sidelines while Sun plays around with the computers to work on the guest profile. Freddy left a while ago to the Parts/Services room to see if he can find any tools in the computer to help out Sun and Moon with the next task he and Gregory will have to work on.

It didn't take long until the guest profile for Gregory was ready. But there was just one small problem to fix before it was completed. Sun turns to Gregory and asks. "Do you have a camera I could borrow to get your picture?" Gregory hands over the faz-cam for Sun and he works a little bit on it to sneak in a blank photograph. Once that was done, Sun holds up the faz-cam and tells the boy to smile.

Gregory gives a shy smile as Sun snaps the picture, almost making Gregory take a step back in shock from the light blinding him. Sun hands him back the faz-cam once the picture is done and he takes the photograph from the camera, putting it into the computer for the guest list to be completed. "Your guest profile is now ready Gregory!" Sun beams in excitement as he shows Gregory his newly finished profile. But then he frowns and slaps himself in the face. "Oh dear! I guess I have forgotten to list your parental guardians Gregory. I know you have told me that you are an orphan Gregory but do you know which guardians do you want to list in your profile?"

Gregory gives this question some thought as he replies. "All I need for my guardians are Freddy, Moon and you Sun." Sun couldn't resist as he giggles in delight over Gregory's comment. At least if the boy was caught by the S.T.A.F.F. bots and had to be brought somewhere, Sun will make sure that Gregory will be directed over to the Daycare if this happens.

Gregory receives a message from Freddy on his watch as the bear explains that he found exactly what they needed in Parts/Services for Sun and Moon's virus protection, so after getting everything situated with the guest profile, Gregory and Sun went over to the Parts/Services right away. It took a while for them to figure out what upgrades is the right ones to protect Sun and Moon from being hacked again by Vanny, but with Freddy's guidance Gregory managed to download the new anti-virus protection for the Daycare Attendant. They just hope that Vanny will not break through the new anti-virus software.

A few hours later after getting the new upgrade in for Sun and Moon, Gregory was studying the zip-line string that is hanging around on the balcony leading to Sun's room. Originally he wasn't very interested in that device since that he was concerned about avoiding Moon at the time when they first met. But now that he and Sun and Moon are on good terms, he started getting curious about the zip-line.

"Hey Sun..." Gregory asks Sun and Freddy while they were hanging out on the balcony leading to Sun's room. He made a move to grab a piece of the zip line string in his hands. "How come Moon gets to fly around on this string and you don't? Wouldn't it be beneficial if you both used the string around the Daycare?"

"I could actually! But I prefer to be on the ground with the little ones." Sun answers honestly as he and Freddy dangle their feet on the edge of the balcony while sitting. "Plus I don't want to risk any kids climbing on. Safety first!"

Moon comments lightly in Sun's speaker. "And he gets tangled up easily." That comment made Gregory blink his eyes in confusion. He turns to Freddy as if to find an explanation for what Moon said, but Freddy shakes his head, signifying to Gregory that even he doesn't know about it.

Sun reacted to Moon's comment, a little embarrassed about it as his cheeks blush. "Moony! Don't embarrass me like that in front of the kid!"

"Do you let kids in the Daycare play with your zip-line string?" Gregory asks his next question, trying to make Sun forget about being embarrassed.

Moon answers to Gregory through the speaker, making Sun look around nervously. "Unfortunately, we don't allow the children anywhere near the string. No one but I can handle it with ease in the air. You will get tangled up easily if you tried to play around with it."

Gregory shrugs his shoulders as he tries to see how he can attach the string onto him. It would be something different for him to try at the Pizzaplex. He has never flown in the air before and he wanted to try it out at the Daycare. "Why don't we test that theory and see if it is perfectly safe for me to play with?"

Sun steals the string away from Gregory as he wags his finger at the boy in a scolding manner. "Hey! We didn't gave you permission to risk your life for a little dangerous activity like this! Didn't you hear that we don't want you to get hurt Gregory!?"

"I won't get hurt Sun!" Gregory protests while trying to reach for the string that Sun was keeping out of his reach. "I've been through worse than what you are warning me about. I just want to fly around the Daycare with the string for a while."

"You will get tangled up if you do that Gregory." Moon warns through the speaker on Sun. Gregory half wondered how on earth Moon knows what is going on from Sun's perspective when its daylight out and how Sun handles not seeing much from Moon's perspective when they switch. Do they just tell each other what happened in private? Most likely.

"No I won't!" Gregory pouts playfully.

"Yes you will." Moon interjects.

"Nah uh!" Gregory shakes his head in denial. But then for some strange reason he heard Moon chuckling.

"Go for it then."

Sun's eyes widen in shock as he tries to argue with Moon. "A-Are you sure this is a good idea Moony?" Normally they would say no on not letting the kids get near the zip line, and Sun knows that while he tries to scold the unruly children like a parent who cares for them, Moon often goes the tough love route in teaching kids lessons.

"See! Moon trusts me to take care of myself with the zip-line!" Gregory whoops in excitement as he attaches the zip-line hook to the back of his shirt, taping himself to it just in case he accidentally falls in the ball pit.

"Just be careful Superstar! I don't want you to be more broken than you were when I found you in my chest cavity." Freddy protests lightly. Gregory pats his right arm in assurance as he prepares to send himself off flying in the air. Freddy was ringing his knuckles apprehensively at the thought of Gregory getting hurt in the process.

"Watch this everyone!" Gregory shouts in excitement as he runs off the balcony, his hands up in the air as he prepares to fly and enjoy the experience Moon always got to do in the Daycare.

fifteen minutes later, Gregory got tangled up in the air from the zip line string. If Freddy could sweat, he would be sweating immensely in fear for Gregory's life if he accidentally fell from the string. Sun and Moon were pretty calm about it for they know that the zip line is pretty strong to not break under pressure. The boy got wrapped up upside down like a bat with his right hand tied to his side. His left hand was waving frantically to grab something to untie himself but he was not going to get very far. His feet were crouching in a tangled knot. As the Daycare got dark again, the boy could hear Moon calling up to him, rather teasingly like he knew this would happen. "What did I tell you?" Gregory didn't say anything as he groans in annoyance. "Come on. Let me get you out of there."

As Moon brought down another zip line for himself to fly up to the ceiling, Gregory sighs, "Fine."

After the zip-line mishap with Gregory in the Daycare which took about three minutes, Freddy decided to take a break and make a digital phone call to one of the other Animatronics he knows that could shed some light on finding out if any other video arcade games have some of the same magic that Sun and Moons game and the Princess quest games had. After waiting for three rings on his phone, he could see an image of the caller on his screen. It was DJ MusicMan. "Yo! Freddy Fazbear! We haven't talked in ages since you were on lockdown! How have you been?"

"Dj, I am calling to see if you hold any knowledge of any arcade games that have been acting strange lately since last night. Do you know of any arcade games I am referring to in your section of the Pizzaplex?" Freddy asks.

"Arcade games acting strange? Hmm..." Dj Musicman seems to consider that question as he rubs his chin in a thinking position before responding. "Right. Okay, I can't guarantee anything, but over in the arcade games just above my studio, there is Chica's pizza game and it has been known to not turn off even when the S.T.A.F.F bots try to shut it down for saving power to the Pizzaplex. So I suggest you check over there and find out what is going on with that thing. I will send you the directions to its exact location in my level."

"Thank you very much DJ! I will report over there as soon as I can and check it out." Freddy replies happily at the news as he waves goodbye to the DJ on the phone before hanging up. "He is such a nice fellow!"

Feeling satisfied over having his talk with the DJ, Freddy strolls back inside the Daycare, eager to recruit Gregory to come play that arcade game so that they can free Chica, only to find that Gregory is playing the silent game with Sun and Moon. The boy was crossing his arms and looking away from Sun as if he doesn't want to talk to him about something, while poor Sun was trying to make the boy reconcile with Moon.

Sun turns to Freddy, a frown was on his face as he gestures for Freddy. "Freddy! I tried to help Gregory make up with Moon, but he won't talk to either me or him!" Freddy narrows his eyes at Gregory. Its probably because Moon warned Gregory that he would get tangled up in the zip-line and Gregory is mad about being told he is in the wrong.

Freddy response slow and steady so that Gregory hears him. "Gregory, please don't be mad at Moon." Gregory turns his head away from looking at Freddy.

Even Moon tries to talk some sense into Gregory through the speaker on Sun. "Gregory please..." Once again Gregory looks away from the Daycare Attendant. "Look, I told you you were going to get tangled up... Gregory..." Moon sounded like he was starting to lose his patience with Gregory's cold shoulder act. Moon sighs in an annoyed tone. "All right… You left me no choice… Sunny, kneel close to him so he can hear..." Sun did as he is told by Moon and leans close. "How does the moon cut his hair?" At the mention of a joke starting to take form from Moon, Gregory moves his hands over his ears, trying to drown out Moon's words while being a grump about it. "Eclipse it!"

Gregory tried to keep a laugh from taking hold of him, but finding that he can't hold it back, bursts out laughing at the joke. "I-I get it! I g-get it!" Gregory laughs uncontrollably laying down on the ground.

Moon chuckles through the speaker as Sun stands up straight, seeing the task was complete to break Gregory out of his grumpy state. "Gotcha!" Freddy was relieved that Gregory had finally reconciled with Moon as he crosses his arms, watching Gregory try to control his laughter.

"Now since that is over, Sun? Do you mind if I can borrow Gregory for a bit at the DJ's arcade?" Freddy asks politely, making both Sun and Gregory cock their heads in curiosity at what he wants to do. He leads both of them to the DJ's arcade to find Chica's pizza game thanks to the DJ's guidance on the subject and managed to find it easily. Once they arrived at the right arcade game, Freddy gestures for Gregory to play the game and win the highest score he can get. Though Sun doesn't usually leave the Daycare in the daylight hours, he can sneak out as Moon and turn the power off in certain locations of the Pizzaplex. As Moon, he watches on the sidelines as Freddy and Gregory play the arcade game.

"You got one million for the new high score!" Freddy screeches happily as he raises his arms up in a cheer. "Way to go Superstar!" One moment, Chica's Pizza game on the arcade was acting fine but then when Gregory hit one million, the screen then pops up with a sign saying error.

"Huh? This one did the same thing as the first two Princess Quest games." Gregory mentions as he tries to look around and see if anything was up around the DJ's studio. Only to hear Chica coughing in the distance, puking up some of the leftover pizza scraps she was recently eating from the trash bins a few miles from where the gang was.

"Gah! What have I been eating that is messing with my circuits?" Chica questions as she resumes coughing up the mess she had in her mouth. Her blue eyes didn't have that odd purple glow in her pupils anymore.

Freddy happily runs up to embrace Chica as he said, "Welcome back Chica!"

"Freddy? I thought you were on lockdown... Anyway, can you tell me what happened? One moment after I was practicing on my guitar I wanted to eat some pizza, but then the next... I don't remember." Chica asks Freddy as she sees that Freddy had some damaged parts here and there on his body. "You don't look too good."

Freddy chuckles as he gives Chica her answer. "I will be fine. Gregory helped put me back together and he has assisted me in helping you get out of the glitch that was possessing you to chase him around the Pizzaplex."

Chica was shaking in horror as she turns her head to see Gregory waving to her in the distance while staying close to Moon in case she tried to attack him. "Chase him around? Oh golly! I'm so sorry! I really wasn't myself and I don't know what that glitch wanted me to do to you! I-I didn't hurt you, did I?"

Gregory responds kindly. "I'm okay. Freddy was the one who thought to come here to rescue you. He discovered one of the arcade games was acting weird and he wanted me to play it and see what happened with you. Whatever possessed the game managed to help you turn back to normal from the glitch." He smiled as Freddy shyly adjusts his bowtie and trying to act like a professional.

"Thanks for bringing me back guys! If you guys need any assistance, I will be happy to help." Chica thanks the boys for freeing her as she hugs Freddy tightly before she goes to hug Gregory and Moon.

Freddy was about ready to ask if Gregory can help him and Chica to find out where the other arcade games might be in order to free Roxy and Monty from the glitch virus, but the moment he saw Gregory rubbing his eyes and looking rather tired, he decided against it. He instead turns to Moon and tells him. "You should do a slumber party with Gregory and put him to bed while I get Chica recharged. We will meet up with you later at the Daycare."

Moon nods his head, "Alright." He gently grabs a hold of Gregory and jumps up into the air, vanishing from the arcade and reappearing back at the Daycare. Meanwhile Freddy gives Chica a helping hand in leading her to one of the Recharge Stations. He also thought about getting her over to Parts/Services to give her that anti-virus protection so that she doesn't get hacked again. Once when Chica is taken care of, Freddy will gladly join Moon and Gregory for the slumber party. He just hoped that they will not have any unwelcome guests.

A/N:I hope you enjoy this chapter! Next up is the Slumber Party!
