Chapter 11: Eclipse of the Blight Heart

A day had passed after the incident with VineMan. With his sacrifice, the Bonesborough Garden Club had been saved, and Willow had now gotten her own NetNavi, the former self of VineMan before he became a Darkloid, known as GardenMan. With all that had happened on that day, everyone decided to take it easy for the rest of it, and went to go about their own business.

At Blight Manor, Amity's Scroll PET screen turned itself on, revealing Hecate. She stretched for a bit before seeing Amity still in bed, sleeping lightly with a smile on her face.

"Well, we have some passes today in case we're late," Hecate said as she watched Amity sleep peacefully, not even flinching as a pillow fell off of her bed while she cuddled with her main one. "I think we can rest a little while longer."

At that moment, Amity giggled and hugged her pillow tighter. "Oh, Luz… your tank top's on backwards," she said, getting Hecate's eyes to go wild before she reached for the bottom of the cover. "Take my V-Card…" she whispered in a seductive begging tone before slowly lifting it off, moving her head to the bare areas that the pillowcase was once covering.

"Nope! That's enough! Amity Blight, wake up!" Hecate called out worryingly.

Amity's eyes snapped open, and she looked to her pillow. Seeing the pillowcase was halfway off, she tossed the whole thing to the side, where several other pillows were in the same condition, some covered in lipstick.

"Ed! Em! Stop messing with my pillows!" Amity yelled as she stormed to the door to open it and yell out. Slamming the door shut, she turned back and looked to her mirror. She saw the magenta streak from her first CrossFusion at the library was still present, and cupped her chin with a smile, admiring it. "I gotta say, lavender works for me."

"Well, I was still forming at the time, but I know I did hear Raika say that green didn't quite suit you." Hecate recalled.

"Well, not sure if you know this, but green isn't my natural hair color," Amity said, grabbing a black mid-sleeved dress and a grey belt before placing them over her in front of a dress mirror. "It's iconic, sure, but it's not quite the color I want. More what Mom wants," she said as Hecate groaned at the reminder of Odalia before Amity placed the selected dress and belt on her bed, going to grab two pairs of tights that had stirrups on the ends of them, one colored orchid purple and the other with a dark-red color. "Which do you think? Periwinkle purple or rebellious red? Or just bare legs?"

"Wow. You've been thinking about Luz in that heat wave outfit too much," Hecate mused with a chuckle. "While no tights are sure to draw in some eyes, I quite like the red. They go well better with that blouse."

"Yeah, things have been easier now that Mom isn't bearing down on me," Amity said, now taking her selected clothes and slipping her slippers off as she went behind a changing divider, removing her pajamas so that she could put on her new clothes. "And now that NetBattling and the MagiNet are a thing, I'm having way more fun than I had before. It's been great to have you around, Hecate," she said, getting her NetNavi to smile before she came out, hopping while placing her tights on. When they were safely over her legs, she wiggled her feet until the stirrups were in place. Once they were, she grabbed her shoes and started to put them on. "You, Luz and Azura have made me feel things I hadn't felt before. Done things I wouldn't have, and become better than I was before," she admitted before looking at herself once more. Smiling, she went to a chest and opened it up, pulling out a necklace with an emblem on it that resembled Hecate's Navi Crest. Putting it around her neck, she smiled with content. "And I wouldn't have it any other way." She finished before holding out her hand, getting her Scroll PET to disappear from its stand and now into her waiting hand.

"Least any of us could do, sweetie," Hecate said with a chuckle before seeing an alert pop up. Pulling it up, she smiled. "Looks like classes have been cancelled today. Apparently, Bump is helping Luz set up her classroom, and wants it to be surprise for us all since literally every student signed up for her NetBattlers' Track."

"Well, gives us more time to prepare for the Lunar Eclipse tonight," Amity said, unpacking all of her school items and instead getting Battle Chips, her Battle Chip Gauntlets, sensory contacts, and a notepad with a list of new Battle Chip ideas on it. "The one day we have to ourselves, and not even Mom can ruin it."

"Good, because I'm so sick of her by now," Hecate said as she saw other stuff happening in other locations of Blight Manor. She noticed a screen showing Odalia with an angered look on her face in her office, where her crystal ball showed what had happened the previous day. "Once more, she's not all too pleased with what happened in the actions of Darkloids and the CrossFusers."

"She's not asked me for any demonstration, or even announced any, so that's good. But also fishy," Amity admitted as she walked out. "All I know from when I see Lilith is that she got a strike for twisting an employee when trying to create a new armor."

"Well, let's get out of her hair before she tries to make a comment about the change in yours," Hecate said as Amity slid down the handrail and twirled towards the door. "I want to see what's happening in MagiNet City so we can meet all the requirements for the Dem-N1 Grand Prix."

In the NetBattle stadium, Azura arrived. She looked around with wonder before seeing several other Navis in the stands, some with their NetOps using their gauntlets and contacts to watch what was happening. Luz appeared next to her afterwards before they saw Eratoeir trying to use a CircleBlaster against GardenMan, using his Leaf Barrier. Willow stood beside him while Amelia was on a screen behind her own Navi.

"Guess Willow's really getting at it," Luz said. "Only a few hours after she and GardenMan bonded, and they're already climbing to the top of the leader board."

"Remember, we're only here to watch one NetBattle, then we have to meet up with Principal Bump and his guest to see how the classroom for our classes is looking," Azura reminded. "No other distractions."

"Try this," Amelia called out, slotting in two Battle Chips. "WideShot and AirSpin! Battle Chips In! Double Download!"

Eratoeir's arm gained a WideShot blaster, which she shot at GardenMan with. However, he glanced to Willow, and the two smirked as they both held out their left arms, with spell circles over them.

"Rose Buster!" Willow and GardenMan both called out, countering the WideShot before leaping over the AirSpin as it unleashed its all-around air attack.

"GardenBlade!" GardenMan yelled, slashing through Eratoeir, who was thrown back before rolling to the ground in defeat.

"Eratoeir, Logging Out."

"Winner: GardenMan."

"Good match, Willow," Amelia complimented as Willow walked up to her screen. "Guess we've got a long way to go before we catch up to your level."

"You're getting real good too," Willow complimented. "Just one place behind Elijah, and still maintaining it for weeks. If we make it to the Dem-N1 Grand Prix, I hope we can battle together again."

"Me too!" Amelia replied enthusiastically before her screen folded away.

"Okay, Luz, the match is over," Azura reminded as Willow and GardenMan digitized out. "Time to meet up with Bump."

"You got it." Luz said, removing her contacts while Azura digitized out.

"Azura, Logging Out."

In front of Hexside, Luz put her contacts away before walking up the steps. Upon opening the door, she saw brown-robed Coven Scouts, with the same symbol that Lilith's Maverick Hunters sewn into their pauldron plates. Following the path they were making, she came across a room where Principal Bump was waiting, along with a rotund muscular witch that had construction worker clothing, as well as a hard hat, his skin tone overall dark.

"Welcome again, Ms. Noceda," Principal Bump said before Azura digitized alongside Luz as they walked towards the two. "And of course, you too, Azura. I've been eager to see you again."

"You'd be eager all the time if you took out fifty Darkloids in one day." A voice said, getting Principal Bump to summon his Scroll PET and pull up the screen to see his NetNavi, WaspMan.

WaspMan was a yellow NetNavi with a black stripe running down his left side. His backpack seemed to resemble small wings, and had some booster rockets mounted on the back as well. His helmet was adorned with two short horns on the sides, his arms had short grey blades over them with blue accents. On his shoulders, gauntlets and boots were also some red accents, while his dominant colors were primarily yellow and black.

"We've talked about this. It was only fifteen, WaspMan," Principal Bump said. "No need to go overboard with the number."

"Just saying, Princy, you took out a lot that day," WaspMan said, speaking with a cool and slick tone. "And besides, in all of our NetBattling… you make it look GOOD."

"You two seem perfect for each other." Azura teased.

"Um, yes, thank you," Principal Bump said before placing his hands behind his back to recompose himself. "Luz Noceda, Azura, I would like to introduce to you the head of the Construction Coven, Mason. Ever since NetBattling became open with MagiNet City, he has been very eager to create as many NetBattle arcades as possible for all NetOps to come together."

"And I must say, Construction Magic has never been more handy because of it," Mason said with a gruff voice. "I support what you have brought to the people of the Boiling Isles with great passion, and when I was asked to bring about the construction of your classroom for your time here, I worked day and night to create the best possible teaching space just for you."

"Well, coming from a Coven Head that isn't opposed against me, it means a lot," Luz said as she and Azura smiled to each other before turning back. "Do you have a finalized layout or a few to run by me?"

Mason chuckled and spun several massive and thick spell circles. Soon, the empty room they were in changed to now have an arena that had an equal number of nine red panels and nine blue panels, a desk with a slot rest for the Progress PET, several Battle Chip display cases, desks with screens that showed blank areas of the MagiNet, and rough copies of the Battle Chip Gauntlets and Sensory Contacts.

"What I have here is made from endless studying of what you have introduced both as the CEO Head of Luzura Incorporated and as a NetBattler," Mason explained as he led Luz, Azura and Principal Bump all around, the former two looking at the area with amazement. "Took me a while to get all the measurements right, considering your PET is not the same as the new Scroll PET models, but it resulted in a special desk for you to place it, with a program that helps keep track of everything. The desks are compatible with the Scroll PETs, and have special blocks that will allow your students to focus primarily on your lessons," he started before opening several of the case displays. "I figured one of your syllabus topics would be about Battle Chips, so after borrowing a few from some of the students here, I created these, which are the perfect size to hold them and display them. Then we have a live virtual NetBattle station for what I assume can be your combat lessons against Darkloids and of course the Viruses. It resets after each battle, and will instantly clear away any and all damage done to it from previous battles."

"Gotta hand it to you, Mason, this is perfect." Luz said. "How long did it take for you to even make all of this?"

"At first, it would've taken me weeks, but commitment to the project and the enthusiasm from those wanting to take your course really drove me to get it done in only three days after the Battle of Terrace Stadium," Mason replied. "The whole room also has dampeners that will allow for massive-attack Chips to not deal permanent damage, whether you use the simulator or NetBattle on the MagiNet."

"Well, one rule I wanted to discuss was to have all NetBattles on school grounds sanctioned by either me, Principal Bump, or our friends who have already been guided on what Luz and I know," Azura said as she turned from Mason to Principal Bump. "Does that sound doable to you?"

"I will leave all sanctioning to you, but from time to time, yes, I can also try to permit or deny NetBattles, as I too will be watching over this class," Principal Bump replied. "An excellent rule to set forward, I must say."

"It was a rule set forth at other schools in the Human Realm, and I thought it best for us to extend it here too," Luz said. "But I have to say, all seems to be in order for when we start to teach here."

"Pleasure to do business with you," Mason said. "And before you ask, no. I won't charge you anything for my service in setting up your classroom. I'm more than happy to contribute to the world of NetNavis and NetBattling as much as I can."

"Thank you greatly," Luz said. "This can truly help to inspire more people to come together, and even more to help take down the Darkloids."

In the dark areas of the MagiNet, where the Darkloid Palace was, ShadeMan sat on his throne, overlooking his Darkloid forces, all recovered from Terrace Stadium, with Pandora, SerratEnby, FeralMan and Lurerre at the front, though the latter was being kept a close eye on by all of her other peers.

"Lurerre, know that while I had discovered what VineMan attempted, I know that you were planning to take over," ShadeMan said as Pandora turned to glare at the second Potions Darkloid. "And it seems that you have learned your lesson from that beating you took. So for the time being, I will spare you and overlook this matter. But know that if I find out you are trying to overthrow me again, or if you attack any of your superiors that I bring in, there will be brutal repercussions. Am I clear?"

"Yes, Master ShadeMan." Lurerre replied, still with her distorted voice from using the Plant Coven Dark Chip.

"Now, with that matter out of the way, there is something I wish to discuss with all of you now that you are all better," ShadeMan said, turning his attention to all of his Darkloid forces. "It is time that we take the next step to claiming the Demon Realm as the new home for all Darkloids. However, this army has grown thrice more than the original Darkloids I used to lead within the last couple of weeks. With that said, I am looking for a right hand, and based on your actions, I have a lot of options."

"Have you narrowed them down, my lord?" SerratEnby asked.

"Here is my overall announcement," ShadeMan said. "Within the next month, I will be watching over you all. Whoever contributes the most to the Darkloid cause and impresses me the most will be chosen as the right hand, and will have command over every Darkloid in my army. Sabotage is not allowed, and to ensure fair play…" he started before several bats flew all around, each with his color and having only a single eye. "I will always be watching. Use any method you please. Infighting will be allowed, but should you jeopardize the plots of your colleagues, you will be punished. Whoever is punished the most will have the least smallest chance of becoming the new right hand. So decide on your courses of action wisely."

"In that case, I would like to propose my plan first."

All eyes turned towards the source of the voice. One of the newer Darkloids stepped up, one that had a cracked moon as their Navi Crest. He had curved sharp horns protruding from his helmet, a gas mask over his mouth, gold robes and boots, silver gauntlets, and a large crescent-shaped serrated sword in his hand, almost resembling that of a Katana. On the sides of his helmet were indigo-colored sigils of the Illusion Coven.

"PsychedelicMan. What does an Illusion psychopath have that can possibly gain my favor?" ShadeMan asked inquisitively.

"Master ShadeMan, you do not understand my power fully," PsychedelicMan started out. "I have a plan that can bring to life stronger individuals whose times have passed. These ones will pledge their eternal undying loyalty to the Darkloid Cause, and will give their lives for you. All I require is the assistance of Pandora… and a Dark Chip."

"And why do you need me?" Pandora questioned.

"Because the moon won't move on its own without a powerful psychic influence." PsychedelicMan replied.

"Amuse me, and carry on," ShadeMan said before flicking an Illusion Coven Dark Chip towards PsychedelicMan, who caught it and bowed respectfully. "Pandora, please do accompany him."

"You will not regret this decision, my Master." PsychedelicMan said with a sinister grin.

In the market, Amity was walking around. Looking to everyone around her, she saw a lot of Hexside students watching NetBattles, trading Battle Chips, or having NetBattles of their own with each other, either one on one or tag team battles.

"You know, whenever we get a day off, you start to see everything you missed from earlier on." Amity mused as Hecate watched from the MagiNet.

"Yeah, you miss out on a lot when you're under the control of a power-hungry monster," Hecate said, seething as she refused to say Odalia's name. "But I gotta say, I think Pandora actually did you a favor that day when she stole your necklace. I take it that was how you were being gas-lit?"

"Yeah, you can say that," Amity said. "I've never felt more free now, and this new necklace replaces that one so much better."

"Order for Ms. Yong-Jon?"

"Yong-Jon?" Amity asked, turning to the café she had passed. She saw Boscha approaching the register and getting a hot drink. "Boscha Yong-Jon, of course."

Boscha took her coffee and sat down, looking to where her new Scroll PET was. She smiled at it briefly before taking out a notepad, the same one that she tried to hide from Luz when passing her the day before. She was just about to open it until her third eye closed. She gasped and put the notepad away, just as Amity walked to her from behind.

"Let me guess. A sudden day off took you by surprise, and you needed some hot coffee to help start off?" Amity asked, sitting down across from Boscha.

"I like common stuff every now and then, don't judge me," Boscha replied as she took her drink. "You know, I was there when Lurerre attacked the Bonesborough Garden Club. You did good to fight her off."

"You mustn't have been there for the whole fight. It wasn't me and Luz who took her down, it was Willow and her new Navi, GardenMan," Amity said. "If it weren't for them, that place would be a pile of ashes. VineMan gave his life to make sure every plant was safe."

"Great, now all five of you can do that CrossFusion thing," Boscha said. "That… plant witch Willow… was the last thing I needed to see get even more powerful."

"Say what you want about us, Boscha, but ever since Luz arrived, we've been changing for the better," Amity said sternly. "Now my mom doesn't bear down on me as much as she used to, I'm reconnecting with Willow, and I'm becoming a better person than I would have without putting on that act for years."

"What act?" Boscha asked, almost jumping out of her chair. "Everything we used to do together, you showed no hesitation towards!"

"At the time, I would have gone along with it because my mom told me, but I have better people around me now," Amity said, standing up and preparing to walk away. "I hardly saw you as a friend back then. When that regretful day came for me to break things off with Willow, I was ordered to hang out around you. At least Skara became better. When will you?"

"Amity!" Boscha growled, getting up and grabbing Amity by the shoulder. However, as soon as she did, Amity grabbed her arm and flipped her over, but still held onto her long enough to make sure she did not fall on her back.

"Try that again, and I will CrossFuse and make sure you can never pick on me and my friends for as long as you live." Amity threatened before walking away, leaving Boscha, as well as a few others watching what had happened, speechless.

"THAT could've gone better, to be honest." Hecate finally spoke up.

"I'm done letting my life be dictated by others. I'll be who I want to be from now on. And if anyone has a problem with it, then they'll have a problem with me," Amity replied before realizing Hecate did not reply with anything. "Did I cross a line there?" she asked nervously.

"No, it's great to see you finally taking a rebellious stand for yourself," Hecate said as Amity let her Scroll PET float in front of her. "I'm really proud of how far you've come, Amity. This is the real you now."

"Thanks, Hecate," Amity said before seeing someone pass by. "It means a whole lo…" she trailed off as she looked back, now seeing Emira looking around to see if she was being watched. "What are you up to, Em?" she asked before walking after her older sister, eventually reaching her before she could turn the corner and grabbing her by the shoulder.

"Ah!" Emira nearly squealed before seeing who grabbed her. "Oh, Mittens, it's just you… yay…"

"Are you and Edric up to another scam again?" Amity asked.

"What? A scam? No, not me…" Emira said nervously as she tried to get around her sister, only to be cut off at every attempt. Her eyes widened briefly as she made a silence motion with her hand. "And… no, it's not a sale of bootlegged human pogo sticks, if you were about to ask."

"Those were bootlegged?!" Amity nearly yelled before noticing something on Emira's shirt. She narrowed her eyes and leaned in closer, just as Emira mouthed something to Skara, about to approach with a corsage of flowers and a vinyl disc behind Amity. She complied and retreated back around the corner as Amity pulled back. "Is that a concealment over your Concealment Stone?" she asked.

"Huh?" Emira asked. She looked to the gem on her shirt and sighed with relief, as it was now a crest that had a black and white symbol on it. "Oh, yeah. You got me. I know this guy who lives on the scalp of the Titan who customizes our stones, and I had recently learned a lot about Lan and MegaMan's rivals, Chaud and ProtoMan. I gotta say, I'm a big fan of them. So much that I got this to act as my new cover," she said as she showed it off. "Fashionable, right?"

"Yeah, I suppose. Looks good on you," Amity admitted before seeing Luz walking in the adjacent alley. "See you later." She bid before walking off.

"Whew, that was a close call." Emira said to herself as she prepared to walk after Skara.

"What was a close call?" Amity asked, not even having gotten five feet away from her sister.

"Um, the one guy who was spying on us during the Wailing Star when Ed and I landed in that rather… insensitive position." Emira replied.

Amity looked to her sister for a few minutes before shrugging and walking off after Luz again.

"Okay, the coast is clear." Emira whispered while casting an Illusion Spell. Skara soon came out of hiding, having been hidden by Emira's Illusion Magic to get a bit closer.

"Guess our rendezvous will have to be somewhere where we won't be disturbed." Skara said.

"Well, how about your place?" Emira suggested.

"Sorry, we're going through some stuff enough as it is," Skara replied. "Maybe… we could try that fly-in theater that witches with Palismen like to attend?"

"I know a guy who can get us temporary staffs." Emira suggested again.

"Meet an hour before the eclipse starts?" Skara offered.

"See you there." Emira said, winking at Skara before the two walked their separate ways for the rest of the day.

"Luz!"

Luz turned as she was walking to a shop, seeing Amity running towards her. She waved at her until she stopped in front of her.

"Amity! Nice to see you out and about," Luz said before taking a look at the youngest Blight. "You know, I've never seen you outside of your Hexside uniform. You look great!"

"Thanks, I wanted to go for something besides Abomination-colored clothes," Amity said before showing off her necklace. "And since my Scroll PET has the moon symbol that Hecate also has, I figured it would be best to use the one I had been holding onto."

"Oh, wow," Luz said, inspecting the necklace. "Is that a replica or did you make it yourself?"

"Well, a bit of both," Amity admitted. "It might not come as a surprise to you, given my reaction to seeing Azura as your Navi, but I am a big fan of the Good Witch Azura series, hence by my Navi is named Hecate," she explained. "Not many people got into it as much as I did, but I never gave up on it. I scrounged around for the finest materials, and whenever my parents weren't paying attention, I would use their tools to create this until it was perfect," she said with pride. "And it only took two weeks to make in secret, but it was all worth it."

"I bet," Luz said. "Oh, that reminds me. Principal Bump and the Construction Head, Mason, just finished showing me the classroom I'll be teaching in, and I can't wait to start at Hexside so you can all see it for yourselves!"

"It'll be fun, trust us," Azura told Hecate in the MagiNet. "I even took the pleasure of setting up a digital space for every Navi while the classes are going on."

"Sounds fun indeed," Hecate replied. "And with all the new Navis coming in, custom or normal, we're bound to get some diversity."

"Anyways, what are Lunar Eclipses like here in the Demon Realm?" Luz asked. "I've seen a few back home, but what are they like here? On a scale of the craziness of the Moonlight Conjuring to the Wailing Star?"

"Well… it's way more volatile than both," Amity replied. "While on a Conjuring night, we try to bring something to life, the moonlight is enough to get the results that we want, and when a Wailing Star brings books to life, it only does so for the night, the effects of the Lunar Eclipse are more random and can sometimes be dangerous," she explained. "That's why we don't usually do anything for that time. Rarely we do, but not all the time."

"Well, with that sale moved from yesterday to today, I'm excited to see what it can do," Luz said before remembering something. "I didn't see too much of the library, on that night with the Wailing Star, but I saw four of the books of the Good Witch Azura," she said, getting Amity to nod. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a book from the series and handed it over. "How about, while we wait for the sales event to happen, you indulge yourself in the fifth book? I've read it a ton of times, and if you hadn't already, I would recommend it."

Amity smiled as she politely took the book. "Thanks," she said. "I promise not to skip a single part."

"Trust me, you won't regret this decision," Luz said. "Now… is there anything you would want to do until the Eclipse starts?" she asked. "Time really flies when the day goes by, and while Eda is setting up her own booth, I want to have a day free of any Darkloid mayhem."

"Well, don't jinx it, but I think I have a few ideas," Amity said, walking on ahead, trying to look cool to Luz, only for her foot to get stuck in a small hole. Nearly falling, she caught herself by slipping her shoe off and using her toes to grab it. She composed herself and slid her foot back in. "Want to come along?" she asked.

"Lead the way." Luz said with a smile, taking Amity's hand and guiding her forward.

"Wow, smooth." Hecate commented from the MagiNet.

"Honestly, that was the best save from a trip I had ever seen," Azura admitted. "I should know, I've seen my share of them back on Earth."

"If we ever get the chance to go with you there, I'd love for me and Amity to see what's there with you and Luz." Hecate said, stroking part of her ponytail as she looked to Luz's NetNavi.

"I'd like that too." Azura admitted, adjusting some hair over her eye back inside of her helmet.

Amity blushed at the physical contact before her body took back control of her movements, now leading Luz into the rest of Bonesborough.

Elsewhere, PsychedelicMan digitized at the top of a tall hill. Pandora appeared right beside him and looked around.

"Do you know this place, Pandora?" PsychedelicMan asked as he walked forward.

"Yeah, the real highest point of the Boiling Isles," Pandora said, continuing to look around until she caught a view of the rest of the Titan's body, the entire Boiling Isles itself. "Everyone here believed it to be the snowy area known as the Knee. But in reality, they never knew about the floating islets that hover at the level of the clouds. The visible layer… the Titan's Spores."

"Many would try to come up here and see a view of the whole Titan if they could not fly, either on their own or with a staff," PsychedelicMan went on. "And that fool, Belos, even bans others from entering here so that only he can see the Titan's visage. But not even he knows what truly lies up here."

"Does that play into your grand scheme, Illusionist?" Pandora asked.

"Partially, yes," PsychedelicMan replied. "In the Human Realm, there are strange structures that those inhabitants dub as Stonehenge. An enigma to all of history. Every known realm has their own Stonehenge. For us, however…" he started before showing off a spell circle with crackling energy. Thrusting it forward, a set of ruins were revealed from thin air, all structures nearly broken, but with a pedestal in the middle still fully intact. "It is known as the Lunaris Altar. It was said that some of the strongest witches gained power from both kinds of eclipses through this. They would excel at the magic that those today would claim to be the weakest; the magic that one would frown upon. And you know how many types of magic that category falls under, now do you?"

Pandora nodded. "So, with the Eclipse due to start, I take it that this spell you are about to cast will grant the Darkloids an army?" she asked.

"And more," PsychedelicMan confirmed. "You see, when the shadow of the moon covers the entire Titan all at once… it gives special powers to those who practice the ways of the eclipses. Scholars in those such as myself can access insane amount of power."

"Which leads to what?" Pandora asked, narrowing her eyes.

"You don't get it yet, do you?" PsychedelicMan asked in an exasperated tone. "With access to the Lunaris Altar, we can increase our powers, regardless of what Coven's power we draw from. Apply that to even the power of the Dark Chips…"

"And we get unlimited strength," Pandora realized. "As tempting as the power is, I have my doubts about this. How do you know that with the insane power won't come insanity itself?"

"Just watch," PsychedelicMan said, holding out his hand to the sky. "Waning Shadow!"

Pandora watched before the shadows around them started to spread. Holding out her crystal ball, she watched as others spread, and eventually, seeing the shadows on the Boiling Isles down below spread further than where they once were as well.

"You're moving the moon?!" Pandora asked.

"No, I'm accelerating the spreading of the shadows," PsychedelicMan replied. "It will give off the impression of the Lunar Eclipse, long enough for me to let our little friend bring out the full effects," he said, summoning the Dark Chip. Hovering it towards the altar, he spread his arms out. "Per virtutem eclipsis, da nobis potentiam tuam. Archiveste, mei generis, sempiterni exercitus robur Mihi confer!"

"You were once a…?!"

"The armies of the Darkloids approach! Our time has now come!" PsychedelicMan yelled, his eyes turning to pitch-black as the shadows darkened the Boiling Isles.

Back on the Titan, Amity was leading Luz to the market, where the sale was happening.

"Let's see what we can get our hands on." Luz said.

"I can't wait to show you what I've been waiting to get!" Amity said giddily before seeing the spreading shadows. "What in the—? The Eclipse isn't supposed to start for another two hours!"

"I can't see a thing!"

Luz turned and pulled out a Light Glyph. Shining it through the shadows, she saw several people bumping into each other, as well as more shadows starting to spread all around. Curious, she directed her light to the sky, and saw something that made her eyes go wide.

"Does an early night come when the sun is still burning bright?"

Amity turned and walked over, seeing through the light. "No, it's not supposed to," she replied. "Something's not—"

"Zoe!"

"Paris!"

Luz and Amity turned to see Zoe and Paris collapsing against a wall. Both were holding onto each other, trying to stand back up.

"Something's wrong," Zoe said. "My magic feels like it's making my blood boil."

"It's not just them," Amity said, turning to the side. "Look there!"

Luz activated more Light Glyphs and saw several other people in similar predicaments. Taking a closer look, she recognized most of them from Hexside, with others having the Illusion Coven or Oracle Coven sigils on them.

"Something's affecting those in the Oracle and Illusion Tracks?" Luz asked.

"The last time a Lunar Eclipse happened, none of the Illusion or Oracle Witches were affected like this," Amity said. "Something else must be behind this."

"Wait, Gus!" Luz exclaimed. She pulled out her PET and started to pull up Gus's contact information. "Gotta make sure he's doing fine."

"You can save your time."

Luz and Amity turned to the source of the voice. Leaning against a stand was Gus's father, the reporter known as Perry Porter, from the Oracle Track. He looked to them with a weak smile before they rushed over.

"What do you mean?" Amity asked.

"Gus told me that you and your NetNavi found where the Darkloids could possibly be, at the Titan's Backbone, and went there to check it out," Perry said. "He's well out of the shadows of all this. I should know, I just got a message from him about his search."

"Wait," Luz said, looking up and aiming a Light Glyph. Shining it as brightly as she could, she noticed some light coming from the sky above the Isles. "What's that place over the Knee?"

"That's the Titan's Spore Islands," Amity replied. "But Belos banned all travel there, no one should even be causing anything that high."

"Well, we can't get there ourselves," Luz said before turning to Perry. "Before it was sealed off, did you know if there were any crystal balls there? Or somewhere that people would access Penstagram through? Surely, it must've been a good vantage point for recording events of some kind."

"There actually is," Perry said. "The Emperor's Coven forgot to take it down when they banned us from traveling to the Spores."

"Then that's all I needed to know," Luz said before looking to her PET, the brightness turned all the way up. "Azura, you think you can travel to that part of the MagiNet and see what's going on when you get out?"

"Yeah, I can. But you gotta remember, I won't have any Battle Chips if you're all the way here and I'm up that high." Azura reminded.

"Don't worry, you'll have help," Amity said, summoning her Scroll PET. "Hecate, can you join Azura up there?"

"You didn't even have to ask," Hecate replied. "I'll stand by you, Luz and Azura no matter what it takes."

"Thank you," Luz said, turning to the crystal ball on the stand where Perry was. Attaching a normal grip, she held out her Progress PET. "Let's go sky high!" she called out, pulling her Progress PET back before thrusting it forward. "Jack In! Azura, Power Up!"

"Here we go!" Amity called out, levitating her Scroll PET with her right hand as she pulled it back. "Jack In! Hecate, Power Up!" she called out, thrusting her arm forward.

Red rays shot out from both PETs and into the Crystal Balls. Soon, Azura and Hecate digitized into the MagiNet, where they saw several Navis belonging to Witches of the Oracle or Illusion Coven barely being able to stand as well.

"Guess we'd better hurry," Azura said, taking out her MagiBuster as a Warp Tunnel leading to the Crystal Ball at the Titan's Spores presented itself. "No time to lose, let's go!"

"Right behind you!" Hecate called out as she raced after Azura, her LunaStriker in hand.

Both Navis flew through the Warp Tunnel and started to go across the MagiNet. All the while, they saw several other Navis affected by all the shadows until they reached the server.

On the Titan's Spores itself, Pandora's helmet blinked. She gasped and turned, her eyes flowing with data.

"What's this?" Pandora asked as PsychedelicMan continued to feed from the Lunaris Altar. "Uninvited guests, I see. Better hurry, PsychedelicMan. Seems like those brats have caught onto what you're planning. Fortunately, we've got Viruses galore to tire them out."

Azura and Hecate walked through the Spore Server until they came across a monitor.

"What do we have here?" Hecate asked, dialing onto the keyboard. Several screens came up, all of them showing Pandora and PsychedelicMan at the Altar. "Darkloids? And a new one with Pandora at that too."

"Is it possible for them to harness the Lunar Eclipse's power?" Luz asked Amity back in the market.

"We don't know anything with the Darkloids and their involvement in our ways," Amity said. "But if our past experiences were anything to go by, I'd have to say yes. Anything could be possible if they are involved."

"I can get out there and try to find out more about what they're doing," Azura said as Hecate noticed something behind her. "I fought Pandora before, she'll be easy to—"

"Moon Barrier!"

Azura turned as several blasts were sent their way. Fully turning around, they saw several Viruses staring them down, some aiming their weapons at them.

"Guess we've lost the element of surprise," Hecate said. "You go on ahead, I'll handle these guys."

"You sure?" Azura asked. "You're too far from Amity to get any Battle Chips."

"Trust me, Amity and I have been training through the NetBattle Stadium to increase our skills," Hecate said. "Just make sure you do what you can to slow down Pandora and her friend."

Azura nodded. "Good luck." She said before digitizing out.

"First battle without any Battle Chips…" Hecate said, summoning her LunaStriker as the Viruses started to advance further towards her. "I'm gonna need all the luck I can get."

Several Swordy Viruses AreaStole at Hecate, striking first. Acting quickly, Hecate slashed back at them, taking the three advance Viruses out, before charging in to take on the rest.

"How much faster does this madness take?" Pandora asked as PsychedelicMan's eyes started to glow. "We're about to have company!"

"It takes time to correctly cast this spell," PsychedelicMan replied. "Do what you were ordered to do, and stop anyone from interfering."

"Last time I checked, you are not my superior!" Pandora snapped before Azura digitized through a white and purple magic circle behind her. She turned and aimed her crystal ball out. "Azura…" she hissed.

"Hello, Penelope," Azura said, aiming her MagiBuster out. "Up to your old tricks again. Couldn't wait a full week after we dealt with your lackey, couldn't you?"

"Luz Noceda might not be here right now, but I can still take my revenge on you for the part you played in my downfall at the Covention!" Pandora proclaimed, forming a blade from her crystal ball. Without warning, she slammed it right at Azura.

"You've got to let that go!" Azura remarked, blocking the attack. Breaking off, she kicked Pandora back and slashed at the side of her helmet, which she blocked with the other half of her crystal ball. "So your prediction that Amity would win was wrong, so what? You're lucky there are no more Top Student accolades to create more like you!" she said, performing a low sweep, which Pandora leapt over before backflipping closer towards PsychedelicMan. "I'm sure Mr. Bane there can attest to how petty your grudge is."

"That would be PsychedelicMan," Pandora replied, getting up and aiming her shield half out. "As for my 'petty grudge', you're no saint either! You played the x-factor into my prediction gone awry! Your very existence extinguished my standing and trust that the Oracle Coven placed in me!"

"Again, give it a rest!" Azura remarked, aiming her MagiBuster out as she and Pandora circled each other. "I swear, you're worse than a social media activist."

"Psyche Storm!" Pandora called out, sending forth several beams from her extra eyes through her crystal balls. They all focused on Azura, eventually becoming a large blast.

"Magic Aura!" Azura called out, summoning her signature aura. This time, unlike when it was used in the fight against ShadeMan, it held. Once it lowered, she leapt back and pulled the MagiBuster trigger. "Magi Bolts!" she called out, firing each blast as they bent and headed right at Pandora.

"Laser Rope!" Hecate called out back in her fight with the Viruses in the MagiNet.

Several Moloko Viruses mid-charge were restrained by Hecate's Laser Rope attack, stunning them. With two rings forming around Amity's NetNavi, she spun her staff around and aimed it out at the Viruses.

"Crescent Moon Orb!" Hecate called out, creating an energized orb that formed the shape of a crescent moon in front of her. Sending it forward, it engulfed the Moloko Viruses and Deleted them, right as she spun around and sent forth several purple sonic slashes. "Waxing Moon Wave!" she yelled, Deleting the other Viruses as the blade extended from her LunaStriker, taking them all out in one go.

"Hecate, you okay?" Amity asked.

"Just finished, Amity," Hecate replied back. She saw a glow coming from her LunaStriker and looked to it in awe, just as Amity appeared on a screen to see what was happening. "Something's calling to me."

"What do you mean?" Amity asked as Luz observed Azura's fight with Pandora.

"Remember the Wailing Star?" Hecate asked. "You might not have been able to bring me out at that time like Azura can come out for Luz, but maybe… we can try it again here."

"You think so?" Amity asked hopefully.

Another screen suddenly popped up, showing Skara on it. "Luz, Amity. I got your message about what's happening. Turns out the sale was postponed again until the next day," she said. "I've also managed to create a spell that heals and protects the other Psychics and Illusionists here."

"Wait, Skara," Amity said, looking to the background, causing Skara to nervously glance behind her. "Is that… Emira? What's she doing there?"

"Amity, don't worry," Emira said, showing up on another screen, getting Amity to smile at her sister for not calling her by her nickname in front of her friends. "I was here when the Darkloids' plan happened. Skara just happened to be near me, and she was able to protect me from this psychedelic effect."

"Skara, you have my thanks," Amity said. "Until this blows over, I need you to stay there. With luck, Hecate and Azura can take down Pandora and that PsychedelicMan before the Eclipse starts."

"Mind Chain Blasters!" Pandora called out back at the Spores, sending forth rapid blasts from her crystal ball halves at Azura.

Azura leapt up, activating Double Witch as one of her clones redirected some of the attack.

"Gem Grenade!" Azura called out, shooting the gem on her MagiBuster at Pandora.

Pandora continued to fire until she saw the blast. She formed her blades and slashed the Gem Grenade to the side in defense.

However, the deflection caused the Gem Grenade to redirect itself towards PsychedelicMan. Upon being hit by the attack, he was thrown towards the Lunaris Altar, where he started to crackle as the Dark Chip on it, combined with the gathered energy from the Lunar Eclipse, surged through him.

"Okay, that's not good!" Luz exclaimed as she watched what was happening.

"Huh?" Pandora asked, turning to PsychedelicMan. "Good, you're getting a boost! Use it to help me Delete this pesky x-factor!"

"Wait, Pandora!" Azura called out, lowering the MagiBuster. "If inanimate objects can come to life on a Conjuring Moon Night, and books to life too from a Wailing Star… what exactly happens when a Lunar Eclipse occurs here? I thought there were unpredictable and wild results."

"She's right!" PsychedelicMan yelled, surprising both Azura and Pandora as they turned to him, now with eyes glowing violently and an unstable Dark Aura surrounding him. "I wasn't intending to use the Dark Chip at first… but now that I've harnessed its energy with the power of the early Eclipse… I feel INVINCIBLE!"

"This is bad…" Amity said, observing what was happening as well.

"You have no idea!" PsychedelicMan yelled, slamming his hand on the ground.

Azura and Pandora both felt the ground shake, and levitated off. PsychedelicMan roared as he crashed through a hole made by his attack. With the power siphoned by the Eclipse, he started to multiply as he and his army made their descent down onto Bonesborough.

"Azura, you'd better get back here," Luz said. "I have a feeling we're gonna be in for quite a fight."

"I still don't like you, but I trust you to deal with this erroneous disaster," Pandora said. "Don't say I never spared you, Azura."

"Pandora, Logging Out."

Azura narrowed her eyes to where Pandora once floated. "Yeah, thanks a lot." She scoffed before digitizing back into the MagiNet.

"Full Moon Blaze!" Hecate yelled, slashing through the last remaining Viruses. As soon as they were Deleted, Azura appeared and helped her back up.

"We need to get back now!" Azura exclaimed.

"No kidding." Hecate said before she and Azura digitized away.

"Azura, Logging Out."

"Hecate, Logging Out."

"Willow, Skara, I hope you're seeing this," Luz said as the shadows started to clear away. All of the Illusionists and Oracles around them slowly recovered before they noticed the PsychedelicMan army roaring down at them. "We don't have Gus today, but we're gonna need a lot of help to deal with this psycho."

"I see it," Willow said from her house. She casually tossed aside the two barbells in her hands to the side and leapt off of her balcony, where she let her Scroll PET float in front of her as some of the PsychedelicMan clones landed in front of her. "And I'm calling for backup. Skara, what about you?"

"Don't worry, I've got some Hexside fighters from Terrace Stadium here with me and Em," Skara said as several more PsychedelicMan clones started to rush at them. "Luz and Amity, from the way these clones look, they all are paler versions of the real PsychedelicMan. Can we leave taking down the real one to you?"

"You got it," Luz said as Amity finished loading her Battle Chips. She was ready to load her own until two clones charged at her. "Take cover!"

Amity gasped and twirled out of the way, where three more PsychedelicMan clones started to swarm her, with more joining. Quickly, as they sent several scythe blades to strike at her middle, top and bottom body areas, she breakdanced around their movements, eventually kicking some of their blades to the sides before getting back on her feet. Backflipping from several more, she elbowed one of the clones behind her before spiraling through several more.

Luz began to load her five Battle Chips into her Progress PET as the PsychedelicMan clones swarmed her as well. Glaring at them, she leapt up and sweep-kicked them in midair before attaching a brace to her left wrist. Still loading her Battle Chips, she continued to kick away at the incoming clones until she and Amity were within close proximity to each other.

At the same time, Willow grabbed the fist of one PsychedelicMan clone and punched another. Banging the two's heads together, she spun them around to where Mattholomule was, using rock-hard fists to bash away at others before smashing the two sent at him to pieces.

"Load up!" Mattholomule called out as several others joined in to help the fight. "We've got this!"

Willow nodded and started to load her Battle Chips into her Scroll PET, all while growing several plants that destroyed the other clones about to charge at her.

Elsewhere, at the same time as well, Skara twirled away from Emira, sending whistling waves at several incoming clones. As she ducked from the blasts of five more, Emira sent a fire spell at them. While she did, Skara loaded her five Battle Chips into her Scroll PET, and waited until twenty clones were surrounding her, all while Emira kick-boxed several more clones until she was back to back with her.

"SYNCHRO CHIP IN! DOWNLOAD!" Luz, Amity, Skara and Willow all called out in their respective locations.

Luz tapped her Navi Crest on her PET and started to spin around, swinging her outstretched arm out and knocking more clones away from her.

Meanwhile, Amity summoned her Abomination Sword and stabbed a few more clones until she was a bit further away from Luz. Still slashing away at them, she prepared to place her Synchro Chip in until she noticed the Crest glowing on her Scroll PET.

"Amity, remember what I said before," Hecate said as Amity looked to her device floating in front of her, seeing Hecate's face appear before her. "This situation calls for quantity, not quality. Use the spell you were gonna use on the night of the Wailing Star, and I can come out to help you."

"Hecate, I'm not sure," Amity said as she saw Luz continuing to dance fight against the other PsychedelicMan clones. "These are unpredictable and dangerous. What if I get it wrong, and you go berserk? What if I lose you forever? What if I—"

"Amity Blight, listen to me," Hecate said, getting Amity to stop panicking and look to her NetNavi. "You need to be strong. You're brave, and way more powerful than all the other witches and Darkloids claim you are. And because of that inner power, I know you can do this. Whatever happens, I will never leave your side. I will always support anything you do. Just know… that you can do this. I believe in you no matter what."

Amity nodded before turning to Luz, who now had proper breathing room. "Luz, I've got a plan!" she called out. "Go this CrossFusion round without me! Trust me!"

Luz nodded. "I always do." She said before pressing her PET again, causing it to glow, just as Willow and Skara's PETs glowed as well.

"BEGIN CROSSFUSION NOW!"

Luz let Azura's armor manifest itself onto her outstretched arm as at the same time, her left arm started to gain her same gauntlets. Spreading them out, Azura's boots appeared over her legs, right as a purple over-shield appeared over her top chest. On her back, a set of two stars split in half appeared, acting as a pack for her, before she crossed her arms, allowing her Navi Crest to form and place itself on the center of her chest. As soon as it did, she spun around, her black bodysuit appearing beneath. She turned around and grinned, Azura's hat appearing over her head, followed by the sides of her helmet forming. Holding out her right hand, the MagiBuster appeared, which she spun around. T-posing with her staff set aglow, her CrossFusion came to a close, a confident grin on her face.

Skara flung out her Navi Crest before letting it pass through her. As soon as it did, she let Melody's gauntlets appear over her arms before performing a high double kick, letting her boots appear over her own. Spinning around, her clothes compressed to allow for her black bodysuit to manifest onto her before her Navi Crest flew onto her chest. Eyes closed, she bowed her head down and let Melody's helmet appear over her, followed by her visor appearing over her eyes as she opened them. Spinning once again, she summoned her harp before backflipping. Shredding a few notes, she sent them out, completing her CrossFusion.

Willow spread out her arms, allowing for green and pink boots to appear over her feet. As soon as they did, she held her right arm out to the side with her left hand crossed across her chest, both gaining GardenMan's flower-shaped gauntlets. As soon as smaller flowers sprouted up from them, she held them out to the sides once again, allowing for a dark emerald bodysuit to form across the rest of her. Behind her, a rose appeared as her pack, opening up and giving her a pink flower-shaped helmet, with an emerald gem appearing on the forehead area while her hair formed into two flowing pigtails from the back, a visor appearing over her eyes soon afterwards. Her Navi Crest flew onto her chest, and with a flick of her hand, flowers flew all around her, and she ended her CrossFusion with her left hand held in a fist near her head and her right thrust out, all fingers spread.

"Great, they've armored up," the real PsychedelicMan groaned as he watched from the top of the mansion that used to belong to Adegast. "No matter. With the power of the Eclipse and the Dark Chip flowing through me, my army will tear them apart in seconds. No miracle, not even Miracle and Kim Possible themselves, can save them now."

"EnergyBoomer, Battle Chip In!" Luz called out, summoning two EnergyBoomers. Letting them fall in front of her, she swung her MagiBuster at them, batting the two at several clones before others charged in with scythe blades for arms. "StepSword, Battle Chip In!"

Now with a blade on the MagiBuster, Luz dashed at the two bladed clones, cutting them down, before locking with a few others.

"Here we go," Amity said, placing her Scroll PET out in front of her. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, spreading her arms out. As she did, pink flames surrounded her, preventing any blasts from the other clones from hitting her. "Shadows of the moon, hear my request. Know that I will face your test. Bring to life the one inside. No matter the outcome, I will never hide. Let my true self shine bright today…" she incanted before looking up to the sky with her eyes aglow, as was her hair. "My faith is shown! This is our way!"

"What in the—?!" PsychedelicMan exclaimed, only to find himself shielding his eyes from the blinding light as Amity and her Scroll PET glowed with immense light.

"WoodTower!" Willow called out, sending a WoodTower attack at several more clones in her area of Bonesborough while behind her, Cat was blocking several jabs from two more.

When Cat got enough breathing room, she created a spell circle, getting the two clones to clutch their chests in pain. Now spreading her arms out, several of their bones started to rearrange themselves randomly before placing themselves back where they once were. With them still on the ground, she ran up and kicked them into seven more clones, taking all of them out at once.

"VariableSword, Battle Chip in!" Skara called out, slashing through several clones at the fly-in theater while Emira created several illusions that distracted more of them from getting close enough. Turning to her girlfriend, she blew her a kiss, which she caught on her blade, before flying up, now with illusion clones of herself, all armed with the VariableSword like her. "Melodic Sonic Boom!"

All of the clones and Skara sent out their variation of the Sonic Boom at the PsychedelicMan clones, creating waves from them that took out the rest around them. Within seconds, the clones in Skara's area were soon no more.

"TwinFang, Battle Chip In!" Luz called out, sending forth a TwinFang attack that took out fourteen clones. She looked up and saw the real PsychedelicMan glaring at her. "Too many in the way to get to you, and I've only got two Battle Chips left." She said to herself, unaware of the Darkloid clones about to trounce her from behind.

"Waning Shot!"

Luz turned and gasped, seeing several moon-shaped blasts fly and take out the clones of PsychedelicMan, followed by several Abomination Waves that took out several others about to join the fray. Confused about the combination, Luz turned to the side to see who made the shot, and immediately, her jaw dropped.

There, standing with the LunaStriker staff aimed out, was not Amity in CrossFusion, but her Navi Hecate instead. Beside her was Amity, hands held out with spell circles around her arms, and her hair now turning to lilac as the glowing on it faded away.

"Amity…" Luz said before turning to Hecate. "Wow, finally seeing you in person… just wow," she said with awe. "I only got used to Azura coming out on her own after the Conjuring. Seeing another Navi is… amazing."

"I feel the same way," Hecate said. "You and Azura truly are an amazing duo with what you've brought to the Demon Realm and making Amity the person she is today."

"We can talk more later," Amity said as she stepped up, removing her hair tie. She pulled it back like a slingshot and sent it at a PsychedelicMan clone aiming at the three, hitting it in the Crest and destroying him, all without even looking. "We'll handle these guys down here. You take care of PsychedelicMan."

Luz nodded. "Good luck." She bid before tossing the MagiBuster up.

The MagiBuster spun around until it formed into a white and purple speeder. Luz leapt onto it and rode off, taking out as many more clones as she could before making her way towards the real PsychedelicMan.

"Let's go." Amity said, summoning two Abomination Blades over her hands. They formed into handheld swords as she let orbs of Abomination slime float around her before she and Hecate stood back to back, resuming their fight to get the rest of the clones around them.

Hecate watched as several of the remaining clones of PsychedelicMan ran at her. She cracked her neck before charging at them, sending kicks to two of their chests, causing them to fall back, where they faded away. As soon as she landed, she grinned and ran at three more, slashing at them with LunaStriker in hand before sending a strong kick to another, leaving a hole in its chest.

Several more clones of PsychedelicMan fired at Amity, but she used her Abomination swords to deflect the blasts before side-spinning to avoid more of them. When she landed, she slashed at the one behind her before blocking a scythe blade from another.

"I don't think so." Amity remarked with a grin before elbowing the attempted attacker away, where she spun over on his back as another tried to slam its fists onto her. Kicking the first one towards it, she spun and tossed her left sword at an incoming PsychedelicMan clone, stabbing it in the face, causing him to scream.

"No, impossible! They're ruining everything!" PsychedelicMan snarled as he continued to watch atop Adegast's former mansion.

Suddenly, Luz leapt up at him and spun around her speeder, taking out several other clones flying at her, until she slammed the speeder as a whole right at PsychedelicMan, he yelled as the roof exploded, knocking him inside of the mansion.

"Finally, found the real you," Luz said before the speeder turned back into her MagiBuster staff. Aiming it out she sent a playful wink. "Blaster, Battle Chip In!" she called out, summoning the Blaster over the gem of her staff. Several rapid blasts were sent out, each one homing in on PsychedelicMan as he tried to shield himself with the various items remaining from the inside of the mansion.

PsychedelicMan roared as he grabbed an axe from a statue nearby and formed his own scythe blade in his other hand. Tossing the axe at Luz, he used the opening to charge right at her.

Outside, Hecate stabbed a clone of PsychedelicMan and tossed him towards seven other Clones. Jumping into the air afterwards, she aimed her staff down and sent forth a spell circle that trapped them all in place.

"Full Moon Blaze!" Hecate called out, sending forth a powerful slash that destroyed the rest of the clones before landing once again.

Amity grinned. "Nice work!" she complimented before spinning around, stabbing her own sword into the head of the last PsychedelicMan clone she was facing. "Time to show you the real power of a Blight!" she proclaimed before tearing his head straight off, Deleting him immediately.

"You ready?" Azura asked.

"Just like how Lan and MegaMan started out. Here we go!" Luz called out, holding her MagiBuster out to the side. "CyberSword, Battle Chip In!"

The Blaster cannon replaced itself with the simple blade of the CyberSword from the gem, now glowing brightly as Luz slammed a Fire Glyph and two Light Glyphs onto the blade. Swinging it out, it created a flaming blade of light before she dashed right at PsychedelicMan, slashing right through his Crest as he slashed right back at her.

Amity and Hecate ran into the mansion to see the two strikes land. When Luz landed, she only lost two strands of hair. However, with PsychedelicMan, his entire body started to spark as he pixilated away.

"This ended poorly!" PsychedelicMan yelled before exploding into bytes, his Dark Chip leaving him.

"PsychedelicMan, Deleted."

"You messed with the best, and lost like the rest." Luz quipped as she thrust her arm to the side.

Elsewhere, Willow bisected the last clone she was facing, and noticed the rest fading away as well, with the Hexside students who were helping her looking on in surprise at what was happening.

Several holes burnt in the chest of seventy more PsychedelicMan clones at the fly-in theater, where Skara had an Infinite Vulcan Program Advance held out, the barrel still steaming from the recent blasts. All of them exploded into bytes, just like the rest of the clones who were laid all around.

"Humph. Well that was another waste," Lurerre said, having seen the entire battle from the top of Adegast's mansion. She looked to the Dark Chip about to make its way back to ShadeMan and grabbed it. "I was gonna stop with VineMan's Chip, but you know what they say. There's never such a thing as too much power."

With that, Lurerre clenched the Dark Chip, gaining a dark navy glow. For a moment, as the Eclipse now properly shadowed the Isles, she could be seen with faded pink skin and a third eye underneath her helmet before the aura subsided, now with one eye tainted in aquamarine.

"Well, I guess I won't have to report you again."

Lurerre turned to see Pandora standing with the same Darkloid from Terrace Stadium, the one with the cracked shield and golden Coven Mask for a Crest with claymores on his back. With a clearer view of the Darkloid, they were revealed to be male, had a mouth plate with jagged cracks decorating it, bronze armor, a serrated helmet, and a crimson bodysuit, as well as completely dilated eyes.

"We have tons of Dark Chips of every kind from all the Covens. It would've been a shame to let this go to waste." Lurerre reasoned.

"When you came into existence, you were made from nothing but malice and hatred of an envious triclops. All of her worst traits, made into the Darkloid who stands before me and Neo SwordMan," Pandora said. "You… my creation."

"Doesn't he go by a different name?" Lurerre asked, turning to Neo SwordMan. "Last time I checked, you became known as SaberMan."

"Does it really matter right now?" SaberMan asked. "You're on thin ice as it is. Any reason we shouldn't take back the power you claimed?"

"Because I have my own plan to become the right hand of the Darkloids," Lurerre said. "All I need is access to the Knee, and more Dark Chips of each Coven. You can all do as you please with your own plots for all I care."

Pandora narrowed her eyes. "You'd better watch your back." She warned before she and SaberMan digitized away.

"And you too." Lurerre said with a sinister smirk before digitizing away herself.

Down below with Luz and Amity, Luz ejected from CrossFusion. She grabbed her PET as it fell and looked around, letting out a chuckle.

"Even if GrandeurMan were still alive, I have no regrets for what I've done to his place," Luz commented before turning to Amity and Hecate. "So, how'd all this happen?"

"My guess? The Eclipse was calling to bring me out just like Azura can come out," Hecate said as Azura appeared next to Luz. "Truth be told, on the night of the Wailing Star, Amity and I were originally planning to use its power to bring me out at the time."

"But when I was given the Synchro Chip, I could only decide between CrossFusion or bringing out Hecate," Amity went on. "I stand by what I did that night, but with the full power of the moon eclipsing us this evening, I would have to say I made the right call."

"I'm proud of you, Amity." Hecate said before giving her NetOp a hug.

"Remind me why we didn't do that the first time I came out?" Azura whispered to Luz, though still smiling at the sight.

"I wasn't sure if it would stick at the time," Luz said. "That hug in Bump's office was to make up for it."

"Ah, gotcha."

Amity smiled as she hugged Hecate back, though felt something warm inside as it went on.

'This feels different than any other hug I've been given,' Amity thought to herself. 'I wonder why?'

"Well, I got word from Gus and his father," Luz said. "Since the Darkloid attack didn't destroy anything, the sale is back on!"

"Great!" Amity exclaimed as she and Hecate released each other. "There's a ton of stuff that Hecate and I can't wait to show you! Come on! While the night is young!"

Luz laughed as she and Azura followed Amity and Hecate back to the market, where several stands with golden lining on every part of them, as well as colors to tell which Coven they were, were being set back up while others arrived to check out the sales themselves.

"Whoa, look at all of this!" Luz exclaimed, taking a look at everything. However, while Amity and Hecate went on ahead, she noticed something shining in the wreckage of the fallen shelves from the mansion. Walking back, she picked it up, revealing to be a scroll. Making her way to the market, where Azura was waiting for her by the entrance, she opened the scroll a little to see what was on it. "A map?"

"Where does it lead to?" Azura asked.

"Doesn't say an exact location," Luz replied as Willow arrived, grabbing two Plant Coven spiked gauntlets. "All it says is that it's called the Celestial Staff."

"Well, we can worry about that later," Azura said, seeing Skara arrive with Emira and taking a look at a triple-necked lute with a handle resembling a harp at the end. "Right now, let's take this time to enjoy the Eclipse sale."

Luz smiled and nodded before she and Azura joined Amity and Hecate, the latter showing off Abomination armlets with excitement.

Elsewhere, as the Eclipse started to slowly pass, someone washed up at a beach. A certain rotund short Navi with light-blue armor and a harpoon shooter on his back.

"Oh, blub-blub… where am I now?"
