1984, JRs.

Mike sat alone at the main counter, sipping his beer slowly as he thought to himself. He'd managed to get a good gig in retail over at the local Home Depot, certainly better than working at Fredbears…

Mike shuddered to think about it, to think back to that horrible thing, That poor child in the jaw… then he remembered… whose child it was…

"Careful what you wish for I suppose." He thought to himself, as he put his cup down and buried his face in his hands.

At that moment, another person came in, slowly walking towards the counter and conveniently sitting down next to Mike, the man looked up and quickly did a double take.

It was her, Almost as he remembered her, actually… Her strawberry-blonde hair was longer now, she wore blue jeans and a brown sweater under her long grey coat, her make up was… gone, and she wore no jewelry, not even a ring.

"Michael." She said, her voice weightless and… broken.

Mike's face became neutral again and he turned his gaze to the bottles on the wall in front of them. "Evelyn."

They sat in silence for a moment, neither one sure about what to say, till at last, Mike spoke up.

"So…" He said. "Uh, does Mr. Afton know you're here or um…"

Evelyn turned, giving Mike a dirty look, as if she dared him to even say that sentence. "No… we're done."

"Done?" Asked Mike. "W-What do you mean-?!"

"I've divorced him." Evelyn said. "Today."

Mike starred in absolute shock, before he slowly chuckled and then burst out laughing. "Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha! Oh that… that's priceless, What happened? He went broke and…?"

Evelyn gave him a dirty look.

"Uh… Of course, Sorry." Mike said, composing himself.

Evelyn said nothing, she just looked away and quietly ordered a drink.

"I'm… Sorry, for your loss." Mike said, trying to sound sympathetic, though he knew it went nothing coming from her. "I… I know a year has passed-"

"And you've been living it, haven't you?" Evelyn scowled, taking Mike completely off guard.

"What?" Mike asked.

"You know, the fact that our "Perfect little family" suffered something like this, that we've been… falling apart ever since…" She said, her words seemingly becoming more strained, but her growing fury unrelenting. "I bet it must satisfy your bitterness!"

"Satisfy my…" Mike was at a loss for words. "How dare you?! You think I've been living it up for the past year since that terrible accident!? In case you haven't noticed, I haven't been living the highlife for the past fifteen years!"

"And who do you blame that on?" Asked Evelyn, they both got to their feet now, both feeling rage of resentment boiling up, everyone in the bar turned their attention to them now. "Me? Because you fucked up? Or the children! Just for existing!"

"Don't you already know the answer, you stupid, stuck up, whore!" Mike exclaimed.

Evelyn raised a fist and sent it colliding with Mike's face!

Present day, 1993

Charlie woke with a start, hearing a knock at the door, just at the crack of dawn. Seeing Jessica still asleep, She rubbed her eye's got up first and answered the door.

At the other end was a plump girl, with dark brown hair, and dressed in a black blouse with a red skirt and grey leggings, who hugged Charlie as soon as she entered the room.

"Charlie!" Exclaimed Marla, as she enveloped the taller girl.

"Hi Marla." Said Charlie. "Come on in."

"Sure thing! JASON!" She shouted from outside, then in came Jason, he was a small boy, with a different ethnicity to his caucasian half sister, dressed in a Batman T-shirt, who was more preoccupied with some Video game.

"Hi Jason." Said Charlie. "How old are you now?"

"Eleven?" Was all the boy said.

It was then that Jessica woke up.

"Come on in." She yawned. "It's the luxury suite."

"Sorry for the abrupt arrival." Marla said. "We just got here, I told Mom and Rolland we were leaving at Six in the morning and someone wouldn't stop fiddling with the radio."

"Okay, let's get ready." Said Jessica as she got out of bed. "We're supposed to meet the guys at the diner in an hour."

As she went into the bathroom to get ready.

"Why don't you watch some TV till we're ready Jason." Charlie asked.

Jason said nothing, he just fiddled with his game.

Later.

Soon the girls arrived at Sparky's, where they found John and Carlton sitting with an afro kid in an orange shirt.

"Hey Lamar!" Said Charlie. "Long time no see."

"Great to see you girls." Said Lamar.

"Ole Lamar here's an Ivy League man." Said Carlton.

"Yeah, early acceptance into Conrell." Said Lamar, smiling.

"How did you apply for college?" Asked Marla. "That's not until next year."

"He skipped sixth grade, remember?" John said.

At that moment, A waiter came up.

"Hey, Welcome to Sparky's, can I set you guys up with Breakfast, or some appetizers for lunch?" He asked.

"Oh sure." Said Carlton. "Wait, why lunch?"

"Well for later of course." Said the Waiter. "You know Lunch is the most important meal of the day."

"I thought it was Breakfast." Said John.

"Some people do say that." The Waiter said. "But you know, that's just a theory."

So they all ordered their breakfast, with Marla paying for Jasons.

"So, Cornell huh?" Asked Marla.

"All part of the five year plan." Said Lamar. "It's a bit strange coming back here."

"Yeah, no one ever leaves Hurricane." Said Carlton.

"...Then why did our families leave?" Jessica asked.

There was silence for a moment, before Charlie spoke up. "I think we should get going."

Later.

The group filed up at the High school, and made their way to the Auditorium, where a great many people were taking their seats.

"Wow, there's a lot of people here." Said Charlie.

"Yeah." Said Marla. "Especially since it's supposed to be a small town."

"I guess these are just some of the guys that didn't leave when the Steelworks closed." Said Carlton.

The group took their seats as five people came up to the stage, One was a balding man, possibly the principal of the school, An elderly woman, An African American couple, and a young woman with fiery red hair.

Charlie knew the Couple were Gabriel's parents, But the girl was a stranger to her, The Principal spoke first, giving a speech about loss, community, and the fleeting preciousness of youth, once he had finished, He introduced Gabriel's parents, Joan and Donald Brooks.

"We are so grateful… for all of you to come." Said Mrs. Brooks, resisting the urge to cry. "Especially those that came from out of town, We wanted to give Gabriel a legacy with this scholarship, but it is clear he already left one."

From the side, Charlie could see other people in attendance, to her surprise, from a corner, she could see the woman she saw at Freddy's, the girl Abby was not with her. Instead, there was a grizzled looking man, dressed in a red flannel shirt. Both looking stoney faced and silent.

"I… I want to say something." Mrs. Brooks continued. "Concerning the families… who are not here."

Charlie turned back to the stage and saw Mr. Brooks put a hand on the shoulder of the young red haired woman. "As we all know." Said Mrs. Brooks. "Gabriel was not the only child lost during those months, there was also… Susie Thompson… Fritz Rogers…"

The red head started to weep.

"Jeremy Andrews… and…"

Charlie didn't listen to the last name that was said, A Girl's name she knew, She noticed the Couple getting up and leaving the Auditorium.

After an Hour, After Carlton and John were called up to give their speeches, Charlie was allowed to get up and mingled about, she looked at old pictures that Gabriel had drawn, next to a picture of him, He was a young boy, with a yellow shirt trimmed with red, jean pants and had a big tuft of afro hair.

"It's amazing how talented he was." Said John, as he came up beside her.

Charlie sniffed. "It's not fair, he died so young…"

John looked at the picture and held it up. He stared at the picture of his long lost friend for a moment, and then back at Charlie.

"Come on." He said. "I think you need some air."

And he led Charlie outside, Conveniently where the others were.

"You guys went where?!" Asked Lamar.

"Yeah, we went to Freddy's yesterday." Said Jessica.

"They're still open?!" Asked Marla.

"Barely." Said Carlton. "It's a whole new place now, The original is a new place, Jeff's Pizza, I think."

"And Family's actually come to it!" Added Jessica.

"No way…" Said Marla. "You have to take us there, I totally need to see it for myself."

"Yeah, I wanna see it!" Said Jason. "What's Freddy's?"

"What?" Charlie asked.

"Oh, We told them about Freddy's and now they wanna come." Said Carlton.

"You mean… right now?" John asked.

"Well yeah." Said Lamar. "You can't tell us this and not let us come!"

Before John could say anything, A young woman came up to them, A Police officer with long blonde hair.

"Excuse me, Are you Charlotte Emily?" She asked.

"Um, yes, Can I help you? Charlie asked.

The Officer pulled out a formal letter and handed it to Charlie. "This a personal message from the Owner of Freddy Fazbears Pizza, Mr. Byron Brown… You're banned."

"What?!" Exclaimed the group.

"Yeah, I don't know why." Said the Woman. "But Mr. Brown seems to prefer the Children of Former owners "keep their distance," So to speak."

Charlie couldn't believe it. "But I did nothing!"

"Tell him that." Said the Officer. "And that should also go for the rest of you, If you know better."

And she walked away, but not before giving one last thing to say.

"You really don't want anything to do with Fazbears." And she hopped in her squad car and drove off.

"Who was that?" Asked Jessica.

"That's Audrey." Said Carlton. "Her Dad worked with my dad on Freddy's case."

"But…why would she pass on a message from a Restaurant owner?" Marla asked. "Is she on the take?"

Charlie opened the letter and it read.

Charlotte Emily, Is it?

I hope your not thinking of trying to get your "Family legacy" back.

Because your crackpot old man blew it before, and I'm the ringmaster now, and If want his Family to never see a single cent from that Bear, I want you, to go fuck yourself.

Maybe come out as an edge lord dyke while you're at it.

Sincerely, Bryon Brown,

Fazbear Entertainment 1993.

Charlie crumpled the letter in her hand. "I'm going for a walk." And she marched off down the road.

None of them were aware of a certain man watching from the parking lot, he turned his attention over to a certain couple as they drove off in their car.

Later.

Charlie went over three miles, away from the town and down old roads that slowly became dirt under her feet. She ascended a hilltop, overrun with thorns and tree's, three rooftops lay beyond, but nobody lived there for years. Charlie sat down and buried her face in her knees.

"Hey."

Charlie looked up and saw John there, coming to sit next to her.

"I thought you were going to your old house." He said.

"How do you know that?" Asked Charlie as she stood up.

"It's the only interesting thing out this way." Said John.

"Sure." Said Charlie. "I'd like some company."

They ascended down the hill together, and when they arrived, they sat on a small hill next to the house.

"Remember that tree?" John asked, pointing to it.

"Yeah, you tried to kiss me there when we were six." Charlie said, remembering.

"Even the littlest heart want's what it want's." Said John.

"Hmm, Sammy nearly killed you." Said Charlie, chuckling.

"Yeah, luckily I fought him off." Said John. "You Emily's really put up a fight."

"Still sore from that kick the other day?" Asked Charlie.
"Nah, I can take care of myself." John said. "Third degree Black belt in Taekwondo."

"Yeah right." Charlie scoffed.

They laughed for a moment, before John stood up, his face looking serious.

"Charlie…" He said. "There's… something, I never told anyone…"

Charlie listened.

"I saw something that day." Said John. "The day Gabriel went missing."

Charlie got up. "What?"

"You weren't there that day." Said John. "But I was, that day, the Animatronics were going crazy, the technician didn't know what to do, and there was this, other mascot, moving around, it came near me and Gabriel, And when the Animatronics shut down, I next turned around to see the other mascot gone… and so was Gabriel."

"What kind of Mascot was that?" Asked Charlie.

"I think it was…" John thought hard before answering. "A Yellow Rabbit…"

"Yellow… Rabbit…?" Charlie murmured.

1984, Parking lot.

Evelyn hit the front of the car as Mike came upon her again, raining blow after blow as the woman held up her arms to absorb the blows and then caught them as he almost sent them crashing down her simultaneously, she then held them back with incredible strength.

"YOU BROKE MY HEART YOU SELFISH BITCH!" Mike roared. "YOU LEFT ME BEHIND WHEN I NEEDED YOU MOST!"

"YOU DIDN'T DESERVE IT!" Evelyn shouted, as she managed to knee him in the groin and kick him off her, he stumbled back, long enough for her to send up another kick to his face and knock him to the ground as she pinned him, her fist raised up and prepared for some finishing blow…

But neither of them moved, they just stared at each other, breathing heavily, and entirely bruised and bloodied, some of their clothes torn from the scuffle.

Then, Evelyn brought her face to Mike's and kissed him, he kissed her back, they quickly embraced each other, stroking and caressing each other passionately after a long time, their carnelian feelings consuming them.
