"Does it hurt?"
Charlie woke with a start, looked around and found her friends all asleep in the Motel room, she sighed and looked at her arm, Marla bandaged it up well, stepping over her friends bodies, she got dressed and headed outside.
The sky was setting into dawn, the air was crisp and she almost felt renewed, her arm hurt and a dull pulsing pain kept drawing her attention. It didn't bleed through the bandages though, she thought back to Aunt Jen, from one of their old sparring matches.
"How much blood have you lost?" She asked after kicking Charlie in the mouth. "You don't need to go to a hospital."
Charlie took a deep breath and than slid into a stance, she shot out a quick jab an invisible opponent, than another, she repeated this motion two more times, before performing a series of kicks, One roundhouse, one side, and one as she jumped up in mid air, she continued her dance of punches and kicks until she performed a cartwheel and A sweep kick, followed by a somersault, she looked back and saw John clapping at her kata.
"Eight years of Aunt Jen's training." He said. "Sweet."
"Morning to you too." Said Charlie, standing up. "What are you doing up so early?"
"Somebody stepped on me." Said John stretching. "Actually, I was awake, you?"
"I couldn't sleep, I needed to exercise." Said Charlie.
"Well, don't let me stop you." Said John, as he slipped off his jacket and tied it around his waist.
"Hm, think you can bring yourself to hit a girl?" Asked Charlie, Raising an eyebrow.
"Why not?" Asked John, as he rolled his shoulders. "If I can handle what you dish out, than your definitely not made out of glass."
Charlie smiled as she slipped off her jacket and brought up her fists. "Shall we dance than good sir?"
John got into a stance. "Bring it on."
The Two sparring partners than ran at each other, Charlie sent a kick up at John, who dodged it and retaliated with a kick of his own, which Charlie blocked, John than threw another kick at Her side, but she caught his leg and flung him backwards, John braced himself on his hands and flipped his feet, going on the defensive as Charlie came at him with a series of punches, John retaliated with a side kick to her midsection, sending her skidding back to her knees, John took the opportunity to raise his leg up and perform an axe kick, but Charlie crossed her arms and blocked it, than with a greet heave, she threw John off his balance, but John braced himself on his hands and jumped back up, just in time to block a kick from Charlie and retaliate with a palm strike to the face.
Charlie reeled back, but quickly recovered in time to intercept a Roundhouse Kick from John, only for the boy to jump up and send another kick to her chest, knocking her down.
"Is that the best you got?" John asked as he landed in a crouch. "Sammy could strike me harder than you."
Charlie gritted her teeth, kipped up back to her feet and threw a mid air spinning kick that caught John off guard, They spared for two more minutes, before Charliebthrew John to ground and pinned him down, they gazed into each other's eyes for a moment, before Charlie got off of John and the two sat together in silence.
"That was…" John ahemed. "A good fight, real good."
"Thanks." Said Charlie, awkwardly. "You uh, weren't so bad yourself."
They sat in silence for a moment, before Charlie spoke again. "You said you saw a yellow rabbit take Gabriel?"
"Yes." Said John. "I saw at Freddy's."
"Well…" Said Charlie. "Freddy's wasn't the first restaurant under Fazbear Entertainment's brand."
"It wasn't?" Asked John.
"No, there was a smaller one before it, A Diner, before my Mom and Sammy left." Said Charlie.
1983, Fredbears, Before the Party.
"Me and Sammy would often played together in the kitchen, drawing pictures under the table, that place also had a Yellow Rabbit, and a Bear, and whenever we saw them, sometimes they would dance around, like the Animatronics at Freddy's, and other times, they walk around, as if they had wills of their own.
And there was also…
Sammy and Charlie were laughing at Fredbear, and quickly crawled under a table to play, but then they found another kid, silently clutching his Freadbear Plush and crying, he had brown hair, a black shirt with two white vertical lines and blue shorts.
"Please, don't let them find me." He pleaded.
"What's wrong Evan?" Asked Charlie.
Before Evan could answer, A hand reached in and pulled him out.
"Hey Loser!" Said the Boy in the Fox mask. "Crying under the tables again?"
The Boy squealed as his brother held him up. "Ha Ha! What's the matter, still scared of the mask?"
"Hey! Put him down!" Charlie demanded angrily.
The Foxybro just scoffed. "Oh and what are you gonna do pipsqueak?"
Just then, a foot shot up in Michaels crotch and he dropped Evan and toppled over in pain, standing over him was another girl, who looked just. Like. Charlie.
"You heard my sister Michael!" Said the girl.
"Woah Sweet Kick Sis!" Said Sammy.
Present day.
Charlie breathed heavily as she remembered.
"Your sister?" Asked John. "I remember her."
"Mary…" Said Charlie. "She was our triplet."
"Yeah." Said John. "She was really brave to stand up to Michael Afton."
"Yeah… I…" Charlie seemed to pause as if something from the edge of her mind was calling out to her. "...I-I think… I don't remember what happened to her, there's so much of my dad's life I've either forgotten, or don't know about, and I may never know, he was so… distant after Mom left, and than, after he sent me to live with Aunt Jen, he disappeared, and Freddys… it's all I have left of him, and that greedy asswipe took it from me!"
She was just about to cry, when John put an arm around her.
"We'll find a way around this." He said. "Why don't we… go and find Fredbears, wherever it is now."
Charlie looked up and nodded.
Meanwhile,
A Car pulled up the old abandoned mill and Max stepped out and beheld it. It was a grimy, desolate place, and work had stopped there some time ago, allowing the elements to begin reclaiming it.
Max did not let this deter her, as he walked to the front door and a man appeared on the other side, as if opening it for her.
"Oh hey Sis." Said Max's Brother. "How's the uh, happy family?"
"That's for the boss to know Jeff." Said Max as she entered the room, they made their way to the main office, where they found their employer leaning against the left wall, straightening up and coming over to them.
"Hey… Mr. Stanier." Said Max.
"You took your time getting here Child." Said Mr. Stanier, as he pulled her close to him. "So… tell me about the dolls."
"They seem nice." Said Max. "The girl just draws a lot, And the parents just… well, The Dad just either watches TV or sleeps, No drinks, The Mom seems a bit… Paranoid though, like she doesn't want to be… anywhere."
Stanier seemed to smile at this.
"Why did you insist Max spy on them anyway?" Asked Jeff
"Reasons that don't concern you Jeff." Said Mr. Stanier, as he moved to his desk and pulled out a Phone. "Especially if it concerns the Job."
Meanwhile,
"What do you mean there was a break in?!" Mr. Brown demanded.
"They fled when I arrived, Sir." Explained Mike. "Didn't steal or break anything though."
"Nevertheless." Said Mr. Brown. "I want this place closed down. "No one gets in or out! I'll call upon Officer Kaufman to stand by."
"Kaufman?" Asked Mike in surprise.
"Yeah, pays to have a cop in your Pocket, doesn't it? We'll just say the place needs renovating and that we'll be back in business tomorrow, See you tomorrow night, Schmidt." Mr. Brown smiled as he got in his Car, leaving Mike bewildered. As He drove off, a guy with Black hair watched him go, his phone began to ring and he quickly picked it up.
"Yeah Boss?" He Asked.
"Ah, Terrance." Said Mr. Stanier "Have you done, As I asked?"
"Yeah, staked the place all last night and most of today, Boss." Said Terrance, looking at the window. "The kids left a way in that the Nightguard didn't notice."
Meanwhile,
"Excellent." Said Stanier. "We'll be right there to meet up with you."
And he hung up. "Jeff, get the others, help yourselves to whatever you find."
"Sure thing Boss." Said Jeff, as he got up and left, Stanier turned to Max. "Now than my deer, tell more about the… "Dolls."
Meanwhile,
Charlie and John drove out onto the road, and down a run down part of the neighborhood, bordering a forest.
"Nothing rings a bell." Charlie sighed. "Except for that old house back there."
"Let's grab a bite and go back." Said John. "The others will be wondering where we are."
"STOP!" Charlie shouted and John slammed on the breaks, making the car skid to a stop, they had stopped outside an abandoned building, the color had long deteriorated and the windows boarded up, with torn window curtains that were once a vibrant purple, and there, atop the front door, in Purple faded letters, Fredbears Family Diner.
"This is the place." Said Charlie, she and John got out of the car together and went to the front door, It seemed to be locked shut.
"On three." Said Charlie to John as they got ready, and together they kicked down the door at the same time, it flung open as the two entered, there they found nothing but emptiness and decay, the whole place was cleaned out, the floorboards were weathered, a Fan was missing one of it's blades and there was a stage there, that was completely barren, with nothing but four unpegged holes.
"Everything is gone." Said Charlie.
"We'd better go." Said John as he looked in the kitchen. "This place is creeping me out."
"Yeah… let's Charlie then stopped, she looked back at the stage as she remembered something from before.
"Wow, your brother is kind of a baby, isn't he?"
"It's Hilarious, Why don't we help him get a closer look? He'll love it!"
"W-What?! NO PLEASE!"
"Come on guys, let's give this little man a lift, he wants to get up close and personal."
"NO! I DON'T WANT TO GO!"
"Hey! HEY! Back up from the stage!"
"You heard the little man! He wants to get up close and personal!"
Charlie's eyes widened, she remembered where she was, sitting by a table, talking to Sammy when they saw the commotion.
"Hey guys, I think the little man wants to give Fredbear a big kiss! On Three!"
"Evan!"
"One… Two…"
"Please Michael I'm scared-!"
CRUNCH!
Charlie yelped as she toppled back, John swooped in and caught her.
"Are you alright?" Asked John.
"I…I… Yes…" Charlie breathed, she regained her composure. "Let's go, I want to get out of this place."
Meanwhile,
Nigel Stanier and his gang arrived at Freddy's, and using grappling hooks, they climbed through the Window and into Freddy's, Max stayed behind in the car, as Stanier, Jeff, Terrance and three other men entered the establishment.
"Now then." Said Mr. Stanier, with a silent cackle. "Terrance, Chris, you boys are with me, the rest of you, have some fun, be quick, but through, maximum damage, limited time, see anything you like, grab it, and we'll settle up after."
"Sure thing Boss." Said Hank, A fat man with a gray beard.
"Yeah, Golden." Said Carl, a young olive-skinned man with curly black hair.
"Now then, Stanier walked ahead, with Terrance and a Blue haired kid in a black tank top following after him, Jeff, Hank and Carl ventured on their own.
They were soon tearing the place apart, smashing pinball games and portraits, looting Arcade machines, knocking down anything they could find, Unaware that they were being watched.
Carl went to the kitchen and knocked over a pair of Pizza shelfs, when he heard something rustling from the fridge, he cautiously walked over to it and opened the doors, inside as a strange plastic Cupcake, that appeared to have eye's and teeth, Carl pulled out his flashlight and than quickly jumped a bang and a rattle came from behind him, he found nothing there, he turned back to the Cupcake and saw it was gone, When he turned on the flashlight and turned around…
There stood Chica! With the Cupcake in her hand, Carl dropped the flashlight and stared in horror, Chica silently glared at him and the Cupcake lunged at him in a flash!
Hank threw a chair at the desk, breaking all the glass, when he heard screams coming from the kitchen, He walked over to the windows, and through them, he saw Carl, on the floor, being mauled by something, Hank stared in shock, and than horror as he saw Chica standing over the boy and narrowing her eyes at him.
Meanwhile,
Jeff entered the Security office with his loot and prepared to smash the monitors, but then he heard something in the Audio, picked up the tablet and saw Hank, running through the dining area, screaming for his life.
"Hank?" As he watched him flee through the building before retreating into a closet.
"The hell are you doing?" Jeff asked, as he went to investigate.
Meanwhile,
In the darkness of the closet, Hank was breathing heavily, then he heard Jeff's voice.
"...Hank? …Hank?!..."
"Jeff?" Hank then fiddled with the door, calling out to Jeff. "JEFF!"
But the handle wouldn't budge, no matter how hard Hank tried, he then reached for the lamp chain, desperately trying to turn on the lights.
"Come on…! Come on…!" He grumbled, and when he finally turned the lights on, He screamed.
There was Bonnie, right behind him, he inched closer to the terrified Vandel, reached for his own face, and pulled it off, revealing the endo head beneath.
Outside, Jeff heard Hanks screamed, which turned to wails of pain as bashing noises could be heard, Blood began to pour out of the closet and then there was silence.
"Hank?" Jeff cautiously asked as he inched closer to the closet, the door opened up, and out stepped Bonnie, his head still bare with glowing red eyes, and covered in Blood.
Jeff stared in abject terror, before dropping his crowbar and running back to the office, clutching his loot tightly, when he got back, he quickly shut both of the doors and picked up the phone, the only sound he received was the haunting laughter of some… child? He quickly slammed the phone down and checked the Cameras, he couldn't see Carl, or Chris, or Terrance, or evan Mr. Stanier, but he did see Bonnie and Chica coming for him, Jeff desperately looked for something, anything that would help him escape, he than found a small vent and almost opened its grate, but then he heard a faint whirring sound, he then saw a robotic Cupcake coming towards him, it slammed against the grate, almost chewing it's way to Jeff, who desperately held it up, using it as it's only Defense against the Cupcake, before it retreated, Jeff than looked at a monster and saw the Power was 65%, Ignoring this he open the left door and checked to see if Bonnie was there, thankfully, he wasn't, Jeff than found an exit door and made a break For it, But it wouldn't budge.
"Duh Duh Dum, Dum Dum, Duh Dum, Dum, Dum, De Dum, Dum, Dum, Diddily Doom."
The scat made Jeff turn his head back, as he saw a figure cloaked in shadows, standing at the other end of the hall.
"Dum, Dum, Didily, Doom, Dum, Dum, Diddily Doom, Yet Dum, Dum, Dum, Yet Doom…"
The lights flickered off…
Then suddenly came back on again, and Foxy came careening down the hall, screaming with his hook raised, Jeff let out a terrified scream of his own, before Foxy hacked him to pieces.
Meanwhile,
Stanier, Terrance and Chris traveled further into the pizzaria, unaware of the carnage behind them.
"So uh, What are we looking for boss?" Asked Chris.
"A Little special something." Said Stanier. "Some I happen to leave behind… long ago."
They soon came up to a room and entered inside, where they found various animatronic parts, scattered around, along with tools and other equipment.
"What is this place?" Asked Terrance.
"A spare parts and service room I expect." Said Stanier. "Right in the backstage areas of the facility, that's where it'll be."
"Uh, where will what be?" Asked Chris.
But Mr. Stanier didn't respond, he just glided onwards, to the otherside of the room, while the two thugs looked around to try and find anything worth selling, Terrance picked up an old Foxy head, then heard a noise, like something being knocked over.
"Hey, you hear that?" He asked Chris.
Chris stopped rummaging and looked, hearing nothing. "Must be Rats, knocking over something."
Terrance had to be content with that answer, until they heard a deep laughter fill their air.
"That… doesn't sound like Rats." Said Terrance, the found seam to come from a darker corner of the workshop, they both raised their crowbar.
"Stay Behind me." Said Terrance, as he edged closer to whatever was there, Chris got his flashlight, and together, they beheld a motionless Freddy Fazbear, staring blankly at them.
"Wha… when did this get here?" Asked Chris.
"I don't know." Said Terrance.
Then Freddy's jaw opened and music started coming out, a beautiful melody reminiscent of the Troubadour.
"What is it broken?" Asked Terrance, as he got a chair, and got to Freddy's level, he peered into Freddy's mouth and the music stopped…
Then a hand stretched out, grabbed Terrance by the shirt and pulled him into Freddy's mouth, he was only half way in when Freddy's mouth slammed shut, leaving only the bloody torso and legs behind.
Chris then screamed!
Meanwhile,
Max slowly made her way inside, looking from left to right.
"Mr. Stanier? Jeff?" She called out. "Mr Stanier!"
She entered the kitchen and looked around. "Carl?"
Max then heard laughter coming from Somewhere. "Hello?"
A gate behind her opened up and the sounds seem to be coming out of it. Max followed the noise to its source, all the way down the dark forbidding hallway, until she found, to her surprise…
It looked like Freddy Fazbear, but it was sitting down, its limbs sprawled about as it lay motionless. The most noticeable part of it was that It was yellow, as opposed to the brown color of the titular bear, Almost, a Golden color.
"What the hell?" Max asked.
The laughter came again, It seemed to come from the bear, It grew more and more haunting the minute, sending shivers up Max's spine.
Then came a voice.
"Don't be scared, It's only me…"
"It's me."
"It's me."
"It's me."
The flashes of this message raced through Max's mind, and then it stopped.
When Max opened her eyes, the yellow bear was gone…
Then the lights flickered, And she was surrounded by Endoskeletons, they raised their arms and grabbed her, and Max could only scream!
Meanwhile,
Chris raced into another room, desperately trying to get away from Freddy, he immediately shut the door behind him.
"SIR! SIR!" He cried. "THE ANIMATRONICS ARE ALIVE! THEY KILLED TERRANCE AND-!"
He stopped when got a good look at the room. It was barren save for a desk and a few chairs. An empty closet was situated in the left corner and a familiar Hat and Trenchcoat were left without an owner.
"Mr. Stanier?" Asked Chris.
"I'm sorry Chris." Said a voice. "But you would have died one day, it might as well have bean today."
Chris slowly turned around as Giant figure grabbed him and cut off his blood curling screams.
To Be Continued.
Hey everyone, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, It was a roller coaster to be sure, my favorite scene was writing the sparring match between John and Charlie, those two really kick ass.
For the cast.
Laurie Metclaff as Aunt Jen.
Josh Keaton as Sammy Emily.
Jenn Ruddus as Mary Emily.
Mae Whitman as Max.
Brandon Rogers as Jeff.
Steve Blum as Terrance. (OC)
Richard Hortz as Chris. (OC)
Jim Cummings as Hank.
Greg Cipes as Carl.
Anyway, there's a lot to unpack from this chapter, first off, Charlie's memories of Fredbears is a bit different from the books, since she and Sammy were older than 3, She remembers Michael and Evan and witnessed the bite of 83, which really left a lot of repressed trauma on her.
And she also has a sister, Mary, we'll get into her later, I know Iris was the one who tried to defend Evan, but in this case, Mary protected him too, as in her nature, again, we'll get into her later.
As for Vandals, it's basically the same as the movie, but without Aunt Jane, and ith two OC's, Terrance and Chris, based on the older names for Michael and the Crying Child, Chris design and death, was based on an old OC named Black Star, who stated in a music video by Belath "Billy" Icarus, just so you know.
At this point, you can probably figure out who "Nigel Stanier" is, can you?
Well, that's all for now, I hope you all have a good evening.
Until next time. ;)
