"We got quite a few requests saved up… Jumping from one Palace to another as quickly as we've been has let them build up." Akira had called for an all thief meeting over the overpass in Shibuya.

"We currently have 5, it's going to be a trial by fire you two up for it Hakuno, Yusuke?" Morgana asked.

"A Cat Thief, an Abusive Older Man, a Crime Ring, an Abusive Boss, and a … S? Am I missing something?" Yusuke asked as Hakuno held back a chuckle.

"She is bad news, let's leave it at that." Ann hurriedly stated.

"I am fine with it… Didn't have much planned for today." Other than seeing how Futaba was holding up…

"Well then let's go!"

"You know, we haven't decided on a code name for you yet!" Panther pointed out as they sat inside Mona. They were on their way deeper into Mementos after finishing a few smaller fights.

Akira hummed in acknowledgment as Skull spoke up, "ooo How bout Witch!"

"It does fit the Aesthetic of your attire." Fox said as he looked over at her.

"Didn't your Shadow call you Sovereign?" Mona said, his voice coming from the speakers.

"I don't think Sovereign fits the name of a thief…" Hakuno continued, "And a Witch… is someone who does Witchcraft at least from my previous world."

"How about Magus? You did mention it was what magic users in the real world were called. Unless you want to be called Hacker?."

Hakuno mulled it over, her magecraft did work in the real world to a degree so in a way she was Magus… "Sure, Magus it is."

The eerie portal opened up in front of them, red and black was pulling them into it. "Do you mind if I take this one?" She asked as the old man was twitching.

"Ya sure? It won't be like the run of the mill shadows." Skull asked.

Hakuno nodded, "I think I should show you what I can do, and if it gets rough you can jump in."

"I'll hold back and keep track of everything remember a Phantom Thief does not kill." Mona said as they made their way to the older man.

Hakuno slowly walked up to the man, her Staff in her hands as she felt the familiar thrum of energy from her two pools of magic.

"Who the hell are you? A little girl in a witch costume and a deformed cat? Do you have a problem with ME Heiji Ono?" Morgana growled slightly at that as he took a step behind Hakuno.

Hakuno sighed, "You're the one making trouble in Kichijoji?"

The man's smile grew, "So you are interested in old Heiji!"

"We are here to ask you to stop."

"STOP!? Now why would I do that!?"

Hakuno shook her head, "I don't think talking will solve this…" The man smiled inhumanly wide as black sludge pulled him into the ground and a small old man with a leaf appeared in his place.

"YES LOOK AT ME! WHAT TROUBLE I SHALL CAUSE NEXT!?" The old man pushed from the ground and floated gently with his leaf.

"Avenger!" Avenger came forth and grabbed her as Ice came down rapidly from the leaf toting man.

Hakuno analyzed the Shadow; he made no effort to get close, and from how frail it seemed as if its physical strength was low.

With a flash of blue Avenger dropped her as he turned back into her mask.
Familiar blue lines appeared on her skin as she raised her hand, "Hack (16)!" A concussive force knocked him out of the air. "Spirit of Vengeance!" Hakuno channeled Avenger's Terror Claw skill.

Avenger appeared over the man and raked his lightning-covered claws over him, electing a scream of pure fear from the old man that he seemed to get over quickly.

Hakuno barely got clipped from a retaliatory Bufu the attack stung but she could ignore it. He raised his hands as more ice began to rain down on her. "Avenger! Block!" Avenger came forth cursed flames in his hands as he held them up, the ice doing nothing against his flames.

Hakuno waited a moment as the ice faded, "Avenger Eiga!" Black and Blue flames came from the ground and stabbed into the floating man. His leaf appeared wilted as he clutched onto it.

Channeling her SP into her ring she brought it forth "Garu!" Blades of wind struck the man, though it seemed to do little more than push him slightly back.

Hakuno grabbed her staff and charged forward, she has to try this at least once right? She used her staff as a golf club and smashed it into the short man's face.

He looked at her stunned as he slowly reverted back to his normal form. Hakuno decided she would try and not use the Staff as a bludgeon next time…

"Whenever I would do something stupid… My family would care for me." The old man sobbed, "They usually treat me like I am worthless…"

Hakuno sighed as she looked down on the man, his tears falling freely. "How am I supposed to live with the guilt?"

"Go to your real self… Apologize to the ones you tormented."

"I… I understand." The man began glowing white as he disappeared.

"How did you do that!?" Skull asked as they got into Mona… Strange thing to think about.

"Do what?"

"The wind spell! I thought your Persona was curse?"

"I too am intrigued," Fox added, "It didn't seem to come from your Persona."

Hakuno removed her ring, "I made the Emerald Joker gave me into a Mystic Code," Seeing their blank looks Hakuno continued, "A Mystic Code is… a blueprint of a spell, the Emerald had residue mana inside of it, and using my own my Od, or… SP as you all have, I am able to recreate the spell."

"That's so cool." Skull said, "Here, that Mona! You don't have to be our only Wind user!"

"It is limited to weak spells, If I had other items with Mana I might be able to create more items..." Hakuno added.

"I'll keep my eye out." Joker finished as they entered another portal…

Makoto: I… have a person I want to have a change of heart.

Hakunon: Do you have a name?

Makoto: … Is the name important?

Hakunon: Yes… we need name, location, and type of distortion. Example being Kamoshida, Shujiin, and Castle.

Makoto: I see… I need you to look into it then. A Mafia group has been targeting students at Shujiin, students are being forced to be drug mules. He is a danger to everyone. If you do not…I… don't know what I will do.

Hakunon:... I see. I will get back to you we will start looking into it.

"The Mafia!?"

Ryuji was loud like always, the thieves had met back up in Leblanc, and were discussing Makoto's case.

"You would think it would be Yakuza."

"Keep it down, I don't want Boss to overhear." Akira says as he listens intently for any downstairs movement.

"Makoto is talking as if it's her last hope… I would like to help her." Hakuno was pressing the matter a bit.

She knows the group has to make a unanimous decision, but Makoto wants proof of their Justice. Hakuno doesn't care too much about their Justice, but she wants to help her friends.

The thieves look at each other before Akira speaks up, "It'll certainly show that our Justice is right."

"More so if the police have yet to figure out who it is."

"But man… Shibuya is a big place, how are we going to find one guy?"

Ann made a thoughtful face, "What about that reporter girl? The one outside Madarame's house? You still got her number Akira?"

Akira pauses for a moment before searching through his phone, "Yeah I do… Ohya something… I'll message her and see if she has any leads."

Hakuno nodded before texting Makoto that they are going to try and find him. "I think that's all for today?"

"Yeah, I got a few things to do, We should do some investigating of our own tomorrow as well..." Akira spoke as Morgana hopped into his bag.

"I'm going to go see Shiho, wanna come with Ryuji?" Ryuji blinks and is about to say something before being elbowed by Akira.

"Yeah I'll go."

Hakuno nodded, "I would like to stay here, Boss has offered to give me curry..." Hakuno took a look as the group disbanded as she approached Sojiro Sakura, waiting for a moment as he slowly handed her a slip with a key.

Hakuno left for the Sakura family home.

Hakuno knocked on the front door, waiting for a moment and not hearing a response as she walked in. "Futaba?" She called as she locked the door behind her.

Hakuno felt her phone ping but ignored it.

"Taba?" Hakuno had read the note, and was able to easily find Futaba's door which she sat in front of with her back facing it.

"You don't have to talk Taba… you can just listen ok?"

Futaba Sakura was freaking out.

She heard Sojiro ask Hakuno to come back but she wasn't expecting it to be this soon.

"You can just listen ok?" Futaba sat on her side of the door. Her tomb.

"It's… been a while, I wish we could have talked sooner." Futaba knew that Hakuno couldn't talk to her… and she herself was hiding from the brown haired girl.

How could she explain she killed her own mother?

"At Wakaba's funeral… If I had known that your family was as bad as it was… I would have tried my best to stay in contact… But I didn't know and I am sorry." Futaba could practically see her mother glare down upon her.

MURDERER! If only I had never birthed you...! SHE COMES TO MOCK YOU! She pulled out her cell phone and sent a message asking Hakuno to leave, Futaba could hear the ping.

"I see… Futaba… if you ever wanna talk, know that you can always talk to me ok?" Futaba heard shuffling, "I'm leaving this for you… I'll come back again ok?"

Futaba didn't open the door until she heard the front door close. Slowly she opened her door and found a CD lying on the floor along with a note.

"I remember we used to listen to these and saw it in the store, thought you might like it."

Hakuno had looked at her phone as it had two from Futaba asking her for some time to think.

The other was The Metanav as it got a hit.

Futaba… Sakura has a Palace.

The investigation for the Mafia boss wasn't going all too well, students wouldn't even know who the top was while those that might have a chance wouldn't say it to any random student.

Akira did mention that Makoto and him almost got a confession out of one guy but he bolted. Maybe… Maybe she should ask Futaba… She was always good at hacking back when they were kids.

Hakuno shook her head as she laid on her bed, she didn't want Futaba in this… Phantom Thief business. And Futaba hasn't really responded to any of her conversations other than asking her to leave occasionally. She thought she heard a few mutters on occasion though…

Hakuno checked her phone, the Metanav fully open, two of the three requirements for a Palace showing in its sickly red.

Futaba Sakura and the Sakura Family Home, the only thing missing was the type of distortion.

Should she tell the rest of the thieves?

Hakuno shook her head, Boss.. doesn't want anyone else to know about Futaba… her family were horrible to her… she blames herself for Wakaba's death… I know she didn't.

Add in the Mafia boss's Palace was important because Makato wanted them to prove themselves… she is doing her best to not immediately report…

Hakuno… didn't even know if she should go into Futaba's Palace… but… maybe seeing it would allow her to help her friend. Without… the type of distortion she can't do anything about it at the moment. At least she will wait until she is able to enter...

Other than sit and talk to her.

Ryuji had texted her, asking to hang out. And to bring her gym clothes?

Strange. She didn't have too much to do so she decided to go with him.

Hakuno hasn't spent much time with the blonde boy, less so alone… "Hey Hakuno! Let's go."

Ryuji was leading her to the arcade…

"Come on!" Hakuno was stumbling through the games, they started with Final Reverie, a fighting game Hakuno barely understood what she was doing…

But she did try to beat him.

She lost though.

Hakuno shrugged. Still slightly wondering why Ryuji asked her to join him…

"Not your style eh?" Ryuji scratched the back of his head.

"Sorry… Haven't been here in a while."

"No probs…" Hakuno noticed the claw machine out of the corner of her eye, a new Jack Frost plushie…

Hakuno shook her head, her old one was still on her desk, she didn't need two.

Ryuji noticed her pause, "Ah yeah… Not too good at those. But!" Ryuji walked with her a bit further down, a shooting game was in front of her named Gun About… strange name.

Hakuno picked up the gun, it vaguely looked like the pistol that Akira had used in the Metaverse. "Yeah, just follow my lead. I'm a natural at this!"

Turns out, he was not a natural as they got destroyed against a player named 'King'.

Hakuno was still unsure of why Ryuji was dragging her around Shibuya, after their… loss at Gun About Ryuji proceeded to take her to a gym named Protein Lovers?

"I noticed… When we were in Mementos you were quite a bit slower than the rest of us." Hakuno nodded, the rest of the thieves almost seemed like they were Servants, at least close to some of the slower ones.

Her eyes could keep up but without Avenger Hakuno had no real chance to keep up too well. She was faster in the Metaverse but not as fast as the rest of the thieves.

"So let's start your training!" Ryuji had a large smile on his face which filled Hakuno with dread.

Hakuno felt dead. She was laying on the ground taking in deep breaths.

"Man… Your Moon place didn't train you at all did it?"

Hakuno slowly shook her head, "Haven't… Been.. there.. In sixteen… years. Can… see.. faster… though..." Hakuno was slowly talking between deep breaths.

"For real? Fast eyes huh…" Ryuji was mumbling as she finally managed to sit up. "Let's go get some ramen! My treat." Hakuno just laid back down.

Ramen was amazing.

Hakuno ate the noodles slowly but the torture made the food somehow taste even better.

"Don't forget your ginger." Ryuji kept adding red ginger to her ramen. Everytime her chopsticks were away from the bowl he added even more.

Hakuno glared at him which made him chuckle, "Just like Ann…Man… you two are more alike than I thought."

"Why did you do this?"

Ryuji got a bashful look before mumbling then taking a drink of his water.

Hakuno tilted her head as he began coughing.

"Sorry sorry. Man. Just my way of saying sorry." Ryuji bowed his head slightly, "For being a bit of a dick to you that day."

Hakuno sighed, "I don't blame you… hearing what you did makes sense for you to want your friends safe."

He had a complicated look on his face, "Yeah but I shouldn't have been a dick about it."

"Well… apologies accepted, just tone it down a bit?"

"Sure!" The blonde's smile made her chuckle as they finished their Ramen and parted ways.

Art: Ah that makes sense then. He will be missed? By the way… Where is Ryuji? He is awfully silent…

Tricky&Kitty: He got… busy, Meet up in Shibuya tomorrow?

Hakuno sighed when she saw the time as she placed her phone back in her pocket, "Hey Taba… I have to go, I'll come back again ok?" She was still a bit sore from the other day's work out.

Hakuno wasn't expecting a reply but got a single letter

Futaba: K

A small smile found its way on Hakuno's face.

Author's Note: Not much to say tbh bit of a fight, showing off Magus and Avenger. I do think his skill 'Flames of Love and Hate' will be changed from Curse to Almighty, but it won't be used too much due to the drain. Hakuno's Hack would technically count as Almighty as well, though damage done is miniscule just high stun chance.

I'm not going to do every Mementos quests, a lot of them are just going to be overlooked cause a lot of them are very meh.
