B-Baller: Hey everyone! Thanks for all the reviews for the last chapter, I'm glad you all enjoyed the climax of the Synchro Arc. Man, it's been such a long and crazy ride so far, but we've finally made it to the Xyz Arc. And to celebrate, it's time for your questions to be answered!

Yuya: It's really great to be able to interact with you all!

Yuto: I'm curious to hear these questions.

Yugo: This is gonna be awesome!

Yuri: Can we get things moving, please?

B-Baller: Alright, let the QnA special begin!

T.V. 2000: For Masumi, Yaiba and Hokuto, what is your opinion of the role that their anime counterparts had?

Masumi: Honestly, I'm disappointed in myself for not doing anything after losing to Yuzu. Yaiba was hospitalized and Hokuto was carded, so their reasons for not fighting were pretty obvious. I feel like I could've still been active with stopping the invasion and proved my worth as a Lancer and Yuzu's rival. Also, it seems like our Reiji was a bit more lenient even though we all lost our duels in the tournament.

Yaiba: Makes sense for you two, though. Masumi, you lost to Yuzu, who was also really strong. It was just unfortunate that you got matched with each other in the first round. Hokuto, you had to duel Yuto in our universe, which was pretty unfair since his experience fighting Academia made him crazy strong, and yet you still held your ground. I lost to Kachidoki in cannon and in this world, so I'm the one who's lucky.

Hokuto: Don't sweat it, Yaiba. That guy might've beaten Yuya if he hadn't gone berserk, so that's probably why Reiji cut you some slack. And besides, my cannon counterpart got carded by Serena! Talk about a sad way to go out.

Masumi: Yeah, losing to Yuto is the only reason you're still alive in our timeline. You should be thankful.

Hokuto: As strange as it sounds, that's pretty much right. Good thing this whole QnA isn't cannon or else I'd probably never be able to look at Serena.

T.V. 2000: For Yuya, what do you think about your anime counterpart never realizing that anime Yuzu had romantic feelings for him?

Yuya: I feel pretty bad for him, honestly. I think deep down, he knew he had those feelings, but the writers of the show wanted to keep things PG, which I get. You can't honestly expect me to believe that my cannon self and Yuzu weren't about to kiss after she was saved from Roget. If they ever dated beyond the series' conclusion, things would surely be awkward with them sharing their bodies with three other people, though.

T.V. 2000: For Yuzu, what is your opinion of the role your anime counterpart had regarding the fact that she never dueled after the Synchro arc and couldn't even defend herself for almost the rest of the anime?

Yuzu: It's embarrassing, really. How could I not duel on screen for a whole season?! I was on my way to being the best main ygo girl! I had so much potential with learning from Yusho and Asuka in the Fusion Dimension. But nope, I got sidelined, kidnapped, and brainwashed, which happened to literally every other main girl before me.

T.V. 2000: For Shun, what would you do if you knew Ruri had a boyfriend?

Shun: I'd kill him.

Yuto: I-Is that so...?

Ruri: Shun!

Shun: I'm joking. Seriously though, I'd probably have a talk with the guy.

Ruri: What kind of talk?

Shun: Well, I'd like to know about the guy's personality to see if he was good enough for my little sister.

Ruri: Oh, that's all?

Shun: I'd find out about his hobbies, what school he goes to, where he lives, and some other important information.

Ruri: So you'd become a stalker? I'm lucky to even have a boyfriend with how crazy you are.

Shun: You're lucky to have a what-

Yuto: Next question!

T.V. 2000: For the author, what is your archetype of each Summoning method?

B-baller125: These are just my favorite decks for each summoning method, not necessarily what I'd competitively play. Ritual: Neckroz, Fusion: Lunalight, Synchro: Spreedroid, Xyz: Sharks, Pendulum: Odd-Eyes, Link: Salamangreat.

T.V. 2000: For the Lancers, should you have a second in command in case Reiji is not available? Who would be the second in command among all of you?

Yuya: That...is a really good question. We probably should, right?

Roy: It makes sense, in case Reiji gets flattened by a building like he almost did against Hell Kaiser.

Sawatari: Me, obv-

Masumi: Don't finish that sentence.

Yugo: It would be me, right? I'm the Duel King and currently second strongest Lancer behind Reiji.

Shun: You may have beaten Yuya and Yuto, but you've never beaten me. How do we really know if you're the second strongest?

Yugo: Then let's settle this right now-

Rin: Second in command has nothing to do with being second strongest, bonehead.

Yugo: I know, I know. Besides, I might be inspirational, but I'm not good at being strategic.

Yuto: It's good that you acknowledge that.

Yuzu: Anyways, I'd say it probably would be Shun now that he's chilled out.

Sawatari: Makes sense. He's got the most experience with fighting Academia compared to everyone else besides Yuto. And he gives off a "lead by example" kind of vibe.

Gongenzaka: I, the man Gongenzaka, agree with that. Kurosaki is the type of man that could lead soldiers into battle.

Shun: I'm honored that you all think that.

Yuya: It's decided then!

T.V. 2000: For Sawatari, what do you think about your anime counterpart never having a major victory and that almost all of his victories were always as a team?

Sawatari: Disgusted, ashamed, shocked, etc. My cannon self should've never been a Lancer if he couldn't even beat a Security Officer! All he did was lose to prop up other characters like Yugo and Kaito, who everyone already knew were strong duelists, so there was no need to assassinate my character!

T.V. 2000: For Yu-boys, what superpowers would you like to have and why?

Yuto: Invisibility. It'd give a strategic advantage on the battlefield. Plus my monsters are phantoms, so it'd fit.

Yugo: Super speed! I wouldn't even need a D-Wheel to partcipate in a Speed Duel!

Yuya: Teleportation! Getting any Action Card would be a piece of cake!

Yuri: Chlorokinesis, the ability to control plants. I'd rule the world with an army of plants.

T.V. 2000: For Ruri and Rin, what do you think about the role their anime counterparts had?

Rin: I genuinely believe we had more screen time in the openings and endings than the actual show. But hey, at least I won my only duel!

Ruri: Yeah...I lost both of my duels...and one was a 2 v 1. I even lost in a flashback against Sayaka. Don't get me wrong, she's my friend, but cannon did her no favors since she only dueled once and lost, only summoning Fairy Cheer Girl of all cards.

Rin: Well, think about it this way. After the Synchro Arc, you were the counterpart with the most duels. Serena and I only dueled once and Yuzu didn't duel at all (lol).

Ruri: And then they killed us off. So to answer the questions, we aren't fond of how our cannon counterpart's were portrayed.

T.V. 2000: For the Lancers, what do you think about Link Summon? Would you have liked to have it as part of your arsenal even though it's impossible for it to happen?

Sawatari: Link Summoning? You mean the thing that brought upon the format that limits Pendulums? Yeah, not the biggest fan.

Yuya: For once, I actually agree with Sawatari. How could they do that to the summoning method I created! I should sue!

Zarc: You mean the summoning method I created?

Yuya: This isn't about you!

Crow: Kid, who are you talking to?

Yugo: Oh, he's just talking to the dark spirit that haunts us and occasionally takes control of our bodies.

Sawatari: Um...anyways, Link Summon isn't my favorite thing, but I do think the Link monster that was made for me is pretty cool.

Yugo: I think mine is awesome!

Yuto: Same. Rusty Bardiche is great.

Yuzu: Mine's pretty good too! Too bad I got a literal link monster years before actual Melodious Pendulums were made...

Shun: I'm happy with mine.

Reiji: So am I.

Yuri: Mine's so good that it's literally hated by players everywhere!

Yuya: I just want an Odd-Eyes Link to be made...I already have Odd-Eyes cards of every other type accept Link...why is Konami doing this to me...?

Yugo: That's rough, buddy.

T.V. 2000: For Yu Boys, what do you think about the existence of fanfics where dimensions like Ritual Dimension & Link Dimension exist and that by extension there are other counterparts?

Yuya: I think it'd be cool if there were a few more of us.

Yuri: I agree. I'd have more playmates to torture!

Yuto: There is the possibility that one of them could turn out like you, Yuri. I don't really want to take that chance.

Yugo: Yeah, that's a good point.

Yuri: You guys are no fun.

Yugo: The Link Dimension sounds really fun, though! It'd be awesome to participate in a Speed Duel and ride around on one of those flying surfboards!

Yuya: And I'd love to go against some Charisma Duelists, as they pretty much are Entertainment Duelists.

Yuto: But we'd probably have to go against those Knights of Hanoi and the evil AIs. When it comes to the Ritual Dimension, it could be like a vacation spot. Just a regular city, no wars, no crazy class system, and no crazy Action Duels.

Yuya: After everything we've been through so far, that does sound nice...

T.V. 2000: For the Yu-boys and Bracelet girls, which Yugioh VRAINS deck would each of you use and why?

Yuya: Since I've been leaning more into my Odd-Eyes cards lately, I think I'd go for Borrel since that consists of dragons and it has all the summoning methods.

Yugo: Drone! They're WIND and Machine-types just like my Speedroid, and they even have a Synchro Monster!

Yuri: Sunavalon. Plants are based.

Yuto: Altergeist. I feel like it has a similar aesthetic to my Phantom Knights. Though, I could see myself playing Armatos since that deck consisted of a lot of knights.

Yuzu: I think the Marincess cards are really pretty, but I could also see myself using Trickstars since they are LIGHT Fairy-types.

Serena: Salamangreat. Not only is it a powerful deck with a very powerful Fusion Monster, all of the monsters are different animals, just like my Moonlight deck.

Rin: I think I'd go for Trickstar. It might not be at all like my Wind Witch cards, but the burn playstyle is very similar.

Ruri: None of the characters in Vrains used a deck similar to mine, so I think I'd use Stormrider. They're WIND monsters like my Lyrical Luscinia cards and some of them look like birds, so it fits well enough.

T.V. 2000: For Yugo, what made you decide to use a deck based on toys?

Yugo: Growing up in an orphanage in the Commons, Rin and I never got to have things like toys. I guess that's one reason why I ended up being fond of my Speedroids.

T.V. 2000: For Yuto, what is your opinion on your anime counterpart's role, since he was literally a soul inside of Yuya from the anime for almost the entire rest of the canon, with no chance of ever getting his physical body back.

Yuto: Well, I'm not too fond about effectively being dead for 75% of the show. I guess it would've been fine if I got my body back and reunited with Ruri in the end, but we all know what happened with the ending. I do think it would've been better if Yuya and I got to switch places more. For example, I feel like instead of Yuya dueling Shun in the final arc, I should've swapped places with him and dueled, that way I could talk Shun down so that he could move on. The same could be for said for Yugo and Yuri, who could've dueled Jack and Dennis respectively.

T.V. 2000: For Reiji, what do you think about your anime counterpart as a leader, do you really honestly think he made good decisions as a leader?

Reiji: In my opinion, my canon counterpart did the best that he could with what little screen time he had. His main problem was that he was barely on screen, so he never truly had the chance to develop as a character. Though, I do wish he managed to actually beat The Professor instead of having the duel get cancelled.

Belzemon1449: For Yuri, what are your thoughts on the rest of Academias elites.

Yuri: Where to begin? Manjoume's a traitor. Fubuki, or Darkness, is a grump. A strong grump, but a grump nonetheless. He's like a dog that blindly follows the Professor as if it's programmed into his brain or something. Johan's not too bad I guess, but after his loss in Standard, I haven't seen him in quite a while. Maybe he was carded or something? Moving on, I really admire Hell Kaiser and his destructive dueling. The Tyler Sisters are kind of annoying, but their tag duel style is really effective. Edo is a stickler, and I don't really get his appeal, but he's strong enough to be one of the highest ranking member of Academia. There are some others interesting people you all don't know about yet, but I don't want to spoil anything about them!

Belzemon1449: For B-Baller, what are your thoughts on how Legacy characters were used in the cannon story personally kinda blame them for the majority of Arc V's cast being underdeveloped

B-Baller125: The problem with the legacies is that the writers wanted to give them spotlight for fan service, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but all tv shows have a limited number of episodes. In fanfics, it's ok to have a bunch of legacies since you can write as many chapters as you want to flesh out all the characters, but with tv, you don't have that luxury. Also, I didn't like how they always undermined pre existing characters to hype up the legacy characters. For example, Yugo got his spot dueling Sergey forfeited for Jack. Gongenzaka and Sawatari took a massive L to Kaito, which isn't necessarily bad on its own, but it gets worse since they lose to the Tyler Sisters off screen a few episodes later. Crow returning from being carded and fighting Zarc robbed other characters the opportunity to fight Zarc, like a revived Yusho, or even Sawatari fighting alone. After all, most people regard the best part of Arc V being the Standard Arc, which had no legacy characters in it at all.

Kaiser Younes: For B-Baller, are you going to delve deeper into the history of the four dragons and make sure that Duel Monster is angry with mankind?

B-Baller125: Most likely, something like this will happen.

Kaiser Younes: For B-Baller, have you considered writing other fanfiction about other Yu-Gi-Oh series?

B-Baller125: I considered writing a story where ZEXAL happened before ARC-V, but then I ended up scrapping the idea and am now incorporating the ideas I had for that story into the Xyz Arc for this story.

Kaiser Younes: For B-Baller, what's the thing that annoys you most about Yu-Gi-Oh series? I think it's the fact that they don't exploit their concepts enough and leave the characters to their own devices.

B-Baller125: Yeah, that makes sense to me. Some of my favorite concepts were Supreme King Judai and Dark ZEXAL. Two great concepts that I feel like should've lasted longer. I would've preferred if SK Judai happened earlier into Season 3 of GX, which would have made fighting to get him back much more impactful. I think he was only the SK for three episodes? On the other hand, Dark ZEXAL was a really cool concept and had a sick design...just to stick around for one episode. One thing I also hate about ygo animes is how quickly they discard some characters some times. Aki after all the focus she got after the first two main arcs? Kicked to the curb for Crow. Carly after Dark Signers? Gone (I get it had something to do with her VA, but still). Blue Angel/Girl/Maiden's storyline? She never even won an important duel (beating mother fucking Haru doesn't count). The entire cast of GX from the first two seasons aside from Judai got moved to the side to make way for Johan and friends from the other Academia.

Kaiser Younes: For B-Baller, have you ever considered writing a crossover involving all the Yu-Gi-Oh anime, not counting the rushes?

B-Baller: I thought about writing a "Culling Games" kind of fic based off You Show YGO's idea on Youtube. That's something I might end up doing.

Neptunian Unicorn: For Yuri, have you noticed the Professor treating you worse than the other elites for no apparent reason? Like maybe he's harder on you or something?

Yuri: Umm, well, kinda? I mean, I could tell he didn't like me when I was younger. The amount of times I was reprimanded for sneaking in to see Serena was...more than enough to get me expelled. But, he never actually sent me away since I was simply too much of an asset. Anyways, he definitely pushed me to become as stronger. I wouldn't be the duelist I am today without him.

Neptunian Unicorn: For Reira, you haven't been having weird visions of a girl with the same face as the bracelet girls, have you? No reason, just curious.

Reira: Visions...no, I haven't. But, I tend to notice things a bit more than most do. For example...sometimes, I see a shadow lingering behind Yuya, Yuto, and Yugo. Other times...I see a strange light behind Yuzu and Serena. The shadow and the light...they almost look like people.

NoodleCatEgg: For Reiji, who do you like most among the Yu-Boys?

Reiji: Well for starters, I'm not a fan of Yuri, as every time he turns up, chaos ensues. As for Yugo, I have to say that my opinions on him have changed quite a bit since Standard. I never could have imagined that he'd become such a leader to his people due to his...less than serious personality. I've always respected Yuto's drive and dueling abilities. His no nonsense approach and serious dueling style make him the perfect Lancer. He may have lost sight of fighting against Academia during the invasion in Synchro, but now that he has Ruri Kurosaki back, I'm sure he'll prove to be an asset. As for Yuya Sakaki...his potential is the higher than any duelist I've ever seen. The rapid growth that he's gone through in such a short time is alarming...but it also makes him a good asset against Academia. However, his mental fortitude could use a some work. Also, he doesn't seem too fond of me...for reasons that are understandable. I can't imagine his reaction when he finds out I knew where his father was all this time.

Neptunian Unicorn: For Yuri, who's the person from your home dimension that you have the most fun dueling (Aside from Serena)?

Yuri: Hmm...the funny thing about the elite's in Academia is that barely any of them would actually accept my requests to duel. Maybe they didn't want to risk losing to me or something? Anyways, out of the people that have actually let me duel them, Hell Kaiser is easily the most entertaining! The Professor used to have him run practice duels with me as when I was an up and coming star in Academia. We haven't dueled since I was a Ra Yellow, but man was he awesome. And that was before he even went by "Hell Kaiser".

Neptunian Unicorn: For Shun, If you had to choose an Archetype to play that wasn't Raid Raptors, what would you play?

Shun: Well, my favorite part of my Raid Raptors is the countless Rank-Ups. If I were to use another deck, I'd probably go for Utopias or Gimmick Puppets. If I were to pick a non-Xyz archetype, I'd pick Black Feathers, since they are similar to my Raid Raptors in how they swarm the field to act as material for stronger Winged-beasts.

Crow: Great choice!

BladeWriter3: For the counterparts, how would you describe each other in one word?

Yuri: Yuto is a hypocrite. Fusion is a bore. Yuya is a clown. Yuzu is a pain. Ruri is a pushover. Rin is a brute. Serena is a traitor.

Yugo: Yuya is awesome! Yuto is cool! Yuri is a bastard. Yuzu is reliable! Ruri is nice! Serena is fierce! And lastly, Rin is a nag-I mean perfect. Absolutely perfect!

Yuto: Yuya is unpredictable. Yugo is dependable. Yuri is a psychopath. Yuzu is resolute. Rin is tough. Serena is strong. Ruri is beautiful.

Yuya: Yugo is inspiring. Yuto is serious. Yuri is a monster. Rin is pretty fun. Ruri is really sweet. Serena is reliable. Yuzu is...well I don't think I could desribe how great she is with one word.

Serena: Yuya is creative. Yugo is stubborn. Yuto is determined. Yuri is complicated. Yuzu is welcoming. Rin is strong-willed. Ruri is understanding.

Rin: Yuya is fun. Yugo is childish. Yuto is mature. Yuri is a lunatic. Yuzu is empathetic. Serena is resilient. Ruri is positive.

Ruri: Yuya is entertaining. Yugo is a leader. Yuto is handsome. Yuri is creepy. Yuzu is caring. Serena is softhearted. Rin is strong-willed.

Yuzu: Yuya is my everything. Yugo is a goofball. Yuto is brave. Yuri is sadistic. Serena is formiddable. Rin is passionate. Ruri is caring.

BladeWriter3: For the Lancers, who swears the most? Who is legally forbidden from swearing? Who intentionally abstains from swearing?

Sawatari: Masumi has a bit of a potty mouth.

Masumi: Shut the fuck up, Sawatari.

Sawatari: Case and point.

Yuya: Yuzu's the same way when she gets angry.

Yuzu: Is that so?

Yuya: Haha...of course I'm kidding, Yuzu's totally never cursed me out while whacking me with her fan.

Yuto: It has to be Shun. The amount of swears that came out of his mouth back in Standard could've filled multiple swear jars.

Ruri: Brother, is that true?

Shun: I...have no comment.

Yugo: As much as I'd love for it to be Shun, it's gotta be Rin.

Rin: What?! Me?!

Yugo: Rin, how many times have you cursed out a Top that looked at us the wrong way?

Rin: Only 43 times!

Crow: Yeah, I think we have a winner here.

Yuzu: Sora isn't allowed to curse since he's still a smol child...but he does it anyway.

Sora: Hey, I'm the one who was raised as child soldier, not you! I can say whatever the fuck I want, no matter how young I am!

Yuya: Not living under my roof you will.

Sora: ...Whatever.

Yuzu: And don't use your past as an excuse. Look at Serena, she doesn't talk like that.

Serena: That's right. If Academia taught me anything of value at all, it's to keep calm on the battlefield.

Crow: Oh yeah? Then what about after you lost against Andre in the Friendship Cup? I heard you cussing up a storm while you were driving into the pit.

Yuya: That definitely wasn't your best moment, Serena.

Serena: ...We don't talk about that.

Shun: Ruri doesn't curse. In fact, she's never cursed in her life.

Yuto: Yeah, she's too pure to ever say anything vulgar.

Ruri: You two really think too highly of me...

Gongenzaka: I, the man Gongenzaka, do my best to not curse. It's not an honorable way to speak to another person.

Yuya: I do my best not to as well. After all, cursing during a performance doesn't quite send good messages to the kids at home.

Yugo: Oh shit! Now that I'm king, I can't curse anymore! I can't set a bad example for the kids looking up to me!

Sawatari: And it looks like you're off to a terrible start.

Reiji: I expect all of you to not curse. I don't need Reira's ears filled with all of your unprofessional language.

Yuya: Of course...

BladeWriter3: For anyone who will answer, what do you think in this story was your best/worst dueling moments?

Yuzu: My worst was definitely the first duel against the Black Rose Witch. My best, funnily enough, was also against the Black Rose Witch. Though Rin did a lot of the work in that duel, I was really proud of the strategy I used to win.

Serena: My worst moment was when I lost to Andre so pitifully. My best moment was defeating the Black Rose Witch, as that served as me showing off my new style of dueling.

Yuya: My worst was my duel with Sergey because I don't feel like I was the one dueling...my best was against Roget, because I managed to evolve Pendulum Summoning.

Sawatari: My worst was against Kiryu Kyosuke. Although I managed to Synchro Summon, I still didn't win, even though he had to fight both Roy and Hokuto before me. My best was against Darkness. Despite being a 2v1, I was really happy that I managed to beat an Academia Elite while also performing Fusion.

Yuto: My worst was against Hell Kaiser, because I used everything I had and even gave into my anger, but ultimately lost. My best was against Kiryu Kyosuke the second time, as I managed to call upon a new variant of Dark Rebellion while also managing to beat someone I tied with before.

Yugo: My worst was against Jack Atlas the first time, because I felt like I didn't stand a chance despite playing the best I could. It's close, but I'd say my best was against Yuya. Although my duel with Jack was the one that made me king, the duel against Yuya was WAY longer and I had to go against all the summoning methods.

BladeWriter3: For the Lancers, what are your plans for after this whole Dimensional War thing is over?

Yuya: Well, most of us have to go back to school for a few more years.

Yuzu: Yeah, that's sure going to be boring after all that has happened.

Sawatari: Although that's true, our popularity is going to increase tenfold not just at school, but the whole dimension! We're going to be famous!

Masumi: That's only true if we beat Academia. Let's focus on that first.

Roy: For all of us from Standard, besides Reiji, the goal is to become Professional Duelists.

Hokuto: Yeah. After dueling opponents from different dimensions, those adults back in Standard won't stand a chance against us.

Yuto: If we're able to drive Academia out of Heartland, it'll most likely to a long time for everything to be restored.

Ruri: That's true, our school probably won't be up and running for a long time. Maybe we can join up with You Show for a bit to keep our dueling skills sharp?

Shuzo: Please come to our school!

Yuzu: Dad?! How are you here?!

Yugo: Welp, I'm going to be busy helping run things back in Neo Domino City. After all, the backlash from years of classism can't just fix itself!

BladeWriter3: For the Xyz Trio, how do you feel about your dynamic after all that's happened since the Invasion of Heartland? Also was it just Heartland or did Academia go after other cities in your world because genuiely in canon I don't think they went anywhere else?

Yuto: Well now that Ruri's back, Shun's finally chilled out quite a bit. Thank god for that.

Shun: Yuto, you're not one to talk without how you've been acting lately.

Ruri: Academia only stayed in Heartland, as it was the biggest city in our world with the strongest duelists. Not longer after the city was invaded, Academia set up generators that produced a solid vision barrier to prevent outsiders from assisting us.

BladeWriter3: For the LDS Trio, what other Summoning Methods would you like to branch out to, if any?

Yaiba: Well since I've already learned Xyz, I think the next logical step is Fusion. That way, I'll be a triple threat by knowing all three summoning methods!

Hokuto: While I was training Yaiba in the arts of Xyz, I gained some interest in learning how to perform his summoning method of choice, Synchro.

Masumi: I've always thought Ritual would be interesting since it's kind of like Fusion, in the way that you initiate the summoning using a Spell Card unlike Synchro and Xyz.

BladeWriter3: For Reiji, thoughts on the other Big Name rivals in the other Yugiohs? And follow-up question: Realistically how do you think a battle royale between all of you would go?

Reiji: I respect Seto Kaiba for running a major corporation while still keeping up his dueling abilities, like myself. The Ryo Marufuji in GX's drive to become stronger was impressive and his "death" during his final battle against Yubel was admirable. The Jack Atlas in 5Ds and Kaito Tenjo in Zexal were certainly powerhouses. I respect Ryoken Kagami for being a leader of his group like myself. I also think its interesting that most of us are older brothers. A battle royale between us would certainly be interesting...

Reira: ...But would you lose?

Reiji: ...Nah, I'd win.

Yuya: A jjk reference in a yugioh fanfic?!

Yugo: If anyone's the Gojo of this fanfic, it'd definitely be Reiji.

Zarc: And I'm the Sukuna!

BladeWriter3: For anyone who will answer. Cat person or dog person?

Yuya: Both! I feel wrong choosing one since I own both.

Yuzu: Cats are nice, but I love the energy dogs bring.

Sora: Dogs are the cutest!

Yuto: Cats. I appreciate how calm they normally are.

Ruri: Are birds an option?

Crow: If so, then birds.

Shun: Same here.

Yuri: Cats.

Serena: ...Dogs.

Yuya: Isn't your ace Moonlight Cat Dancer?

Yuri: I feel like you just picked Dogs since I picked Cats.

Serena: I-I did no such thing...what about you, Reiji?

Reiji: ...Cats.

Roy: I can totally see Reiji sitting in his chair in front of all his stalker monitors with a cat in his lap.

Reira: How did you know brother did that?

Yuya: Pfffttt-

Reiji: Reira, now isn't the time for jokes.

Reira: But I wasn't-

Reiji: Next question, please.

BladeWriter3: For the Counterparts, what kind of Elemental powers would you like? You are not just limit to the Classical Four of Water, Air, Earth, and Fire, you can choose others like Ice, Electricity, even some obscure ones like Sound and Smoke, and you can have multiple (limit 3).

Yuya: I think fire, air, and sound would make for some amazing special effects for performances!

Yuto: Electricity, because that's the element Dark Rebellion harnesses. Smoke, because it'd be useful on the battlefield. Fire, because many of my Phantom Knights channel are blue flame-like spirits while Dark Rebellion's Ritual Form also had the power of fire.

Yugo: Wind, because I love flying through the air with Clear Wing. Metal, because of my Speedroids being machines. Earth would be pretty cool too, as I bet I could create some sick race tracks with it!

Yuri: Earth, water, and nature. With that skillset, I could grow and command an army of plants!

Yuzu: Air, sound, and nature, as my monsters are fairies who love to sing, with some of them being flower-themed.

Rin: Air, ice, and sound, since that's basically what my Wind Witch cards are all about.

Serena: If light counts, then light, because of the moon. The moon also controls the tides of the ocean, so I'd pick water as well. Also fire, so I could burn Yuri's plants when he tries to take over the world with them.

Yuri: Hey!

Ruri: I'd pick air and sound, since my deck is full of singing birds. I'd also pick nature, since once we save Heartland, I could use that power to restore the parks that Yuto and I always visited.

BladeWriter3: For the Fusion Counterparts, if your friendship wasn't torn apart, would you have seen yourselves potentially becoming romantic involved like with your counterparts?

Serena: I don't know if-

Yuri: Yes.

Serena: Y-Yuri!

Yuri: What? You really think you could resist me?

Serena: ...I'm not responding to that.

BladeWriter3: For Dennis, are you a magician or are you a clown?

Dennis: Whatever will make the crowd smile!

Shun: He's a clown when it comes to dueling.

BladeWriter3: For Synchro Counterparts, what is your relationship with the other kids at the orphanage you grew up in? Also, for Yugo: Would you want Yuya's mother to formally adopt you? She's a great cook and she used to be the leader of a duelist biker gang.

Yugo: Well, most kids were afraid of Rin, so I feel like we never made too many lasting friends. And living with Mrs. Sakaki and Yuya would be awesome! Though, I feel like I should be living in the Synchro Dimension since I'm supposed to be the Duel King. Maybe after I help repair things in the city...

BladeWriter3: For Sawatari, how do you think you'd be faring right now if you retained your Monarch/Yosenju deck?

Sawatari: Not too sure if my Monarch deck could've gotten me very far. My Yosenju deck was really cool though, I'm sure I could've gotten wins with it. But I couldn't ask for a better deck then the one I have now!

BladeWriter3: For the folks who remained back in Standard whom we have not seen since the start of Synchro, how are y'all holding up?

Futoshi: We're doing great!

Tatsuya: Well, as great as we can be. We've been hard at work training to get stronger. Though, Sensei Shuzo's mind has been a little...preoccupied with his thoughts.

Shuzo: I just want my baby to come home!

Ayu: He's really been bumming us out.

Yoko: Get it together, Shuzo!

BladeWriter3: For the Counterparts, if you could switch positions with anyone of your lookalikes (EX: Yuto is now the Standard Dimension Boy, Ruri is now the Fusion Girlie) who would it be?

Rin: I'd love to swap with Serena and be from the Fusion Dimension.

Serena: Really?

Rin: Totally! I'd kick Leo Akaba's ass and stop him from ruining everyone's lives.

Ruri: I think I'd pick to be from Standard. I've always thought dueling was meant to make people smile, so being an Entertainment Dueling would feel pretty fitting.

Yuzu: I wouldn't mind being from Synchro, besides the whole class system thing. I never expected to enjoy riding duels so much and doing that for a living could be really fun.

Serena: I'd choose to be from Xyz. They were the strongest dimension of duelists because of how important dueling was to the culture of the city. I feel like I'd become a lot stronger earlier on if I was from there.

Yuto: Standard. It seems like the normalest out of the four dimensions.

Yugo: Xyz! Going off of that Heartland Action Field Reiji used that one time, it seems really cool! And once the war starts, I'd never get tired of bashing the heads of Academia soliders!

Yuri: Synchro. I'd probably start my own gang and be some kind of Commons crime boss.

Yuya: ...I'd pick Fusion. If I went to Academia, maybe I'd be able to change the minds of the people in that dimension and stop the war before it started.

BladeWriter3: For the Bracelet Girls, if you could shuffle around which Kachofuugetsu aesthetic you represent, which one would you want?

Yuzu: I'd like the bird theme, as I always liked how Prodigy Mozart had wings.

Serena: Wind. Blasting the opponent in the face with constant blasts of wind seems pretty fun.

Rin: I'd take the flower theme. It kinda reminds me of Aki, who was a crazy strong opponent with a kickass dragon.

Ruri: I'd like the Moon theme. Serena's monsters are really pretty and the only thing I think is more beautiful then a flock of birds flying in the miday sky is a full moon shinning through the night.

BladeWriter3: For Roget and Barrett, thoughts on how your canon selves just disappeared after the Synchro Arc?

Barrett: Very dissapointing. I feel like I was setup for more and then was forgotten.

Roget: I could've easily survived that dimensional rift. If all those brats did, then I should've!

BladeWriter3: For anyone and everyone, disregarding that nasty ending reveal, what are your thoughts on your Manga Counterparts?

Yuya: Hehehe...it's pretty hard to look past the nasty ending reveal...right, Yuzu?

Yuzu: We don't talk about that...we never talk about that...

Sora: I thought my character in the manga had more development than the anime, which was nice to see. Though, seeing me all buddy-buddy with Kurosaki and Sawatari of all people is pretty jarring.

Sawatari: I only got one duel and it was the first duel of the manga!

Shun: I thought my character having a fasination with pain...was a bit strange.

Yuzu: I...didn't like that my character wasn't a duelist...and that she was crushing on her son from the future...

Yugo: Yuto, Yuya, and I being brothers is awesome!

Yuto: Though, Yugo and I being dead is not awesome.

Yuri: Being related to you three and dying...what worse fate could there be?

Reiji: My manga self having powers like Yuya is interesting. If I had those powers, maybe I wouldn't have to spend so much money creating powerful cards for my deck.

Yuya: I thought my manga self was pretty cool because he didn't really seem too different than me. If anything, I envy him for not having to deal with a dark spirit constantly trying to possess him.

BladeWriter3: For B-baller, how do you feel about the existence of the Legacy Characters in Arc V? Do you think they should have just been original characters? Do you think they stole screentime from the Arc V cast?

B-Baller: I think they could've been original characters, though it probably wouldn't have been as hype for the fans at the time. And besides, look at what they did with their original characters outside of the Yu's. Most of them were shafted besides Reiji, Shun, and maybe Dennis. The legacy pushing kinda got to a point in the Fusion Arc where it was just really. Kaito didn't deserve to duel three fucking times. Yusho should've have dueled Dennis and Yugo should've dueled Yuri without intrusion. Jack coming in to save the day against Battle Beast really took a lot of agency away from Yuya and ESPECIALLY Gongenzaka, who I don't think won a single duel after his duel with Dennis. In my opinion, Sawatari and Gongenzaka should've been the ones to defeat him, not Yuya and Jack.

BladeWriter3: For all the ladies in the house: Anyone out there a magical girl fan? If so, which series would you like to be in?

Serena: Magical girl?

Rin: Is that a show? I only ever really watched televised riding duels growing up.

Ruri: You guys are really missing out. I'd love to be in Sailor Moon.

Yuzu: You're a fan too?!

Ruri: Of course!

BladeWriter3: For Yuya, how would you feel if someone started psychoanalyzing you and said 'While you do believe in your family's Dueling for Smiles philosophy, you subconsciously cling to it as an excuse to avoid dealing with your problems, including your Daddy Issues?

Yuya: Well, I feel like Reiji psychoanalyzes me everytime we interact.

Reiji: I'm giving you free therapy, you should be thanking me.

Yuya: Right...anyways, unlike my anime self, I've had to come to terms with my old philosophy not being effective on everyone. But after reliving all those memories the evil spirit in my head showed me...I definitely need to go to therapy and rethink some stuff.

Zarc: What? The only therapy you need is mercilessly crushing your opponents with all of your might!

Yuya: Yeah...I definitely need therapy.

BladeWriter3: For the Counterparts, what's your go to karaoke song?

Yuya: Don't Stop Me Now by Queen. That song really matches my energy, you know?

Yuto: Numb by Linkin Park. I'm really not beating the emo allegations with this one, am I?

Yugo: Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts! I love speeding on highways, afterall!

Yuri: Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson. I'm a pro kidnapper, remember?

Yuzu: Stronger (What doesn't kill you) by Kelly Clarkson. I try to live by this song.

Ruri: Wings by Little Mix. It's about spreading your wings and breaking free from what holds you back, something I've always wanted to strive for.

Rin: Titanium by Sia. Yugo always says I'm as tough as nails, so this definitely fits.

Serena: I don't know much about music...but Yuzu did show me Roar by Katy Perry back in Standard. I feel like I resonated with that song, so that's what I'd choose.

Danger: For B-Baller, what do you think of Lancers as a team?

B-Baller: In cannon, I don't feel like they have great team chemistry because I feel like they were all never together. Synchro, separated immediately. Xyz, only Yuya, Gongenzaka, and Sawatari went. Fusion, they were together for like half an episode before storming Academia. We barely got to see them all interact which is such a shame.

Danger: For B-Baller, what do you think of academia and the professor as antagonists?

B-Baller: I think they were kinda boring if I'm being honest. It was just hard to take them as a threat in my opinion. Leo got like one duel and it wasn't even that great if I'm being honest, plus he'a a bafoon. The Battle Beast arc was horrible. The parasites were ok for the duels but assassinated the Bracelet Girl's characters. Yuri carried Academia hard.

Danger: For B-Baller, what do think about the Lancers vs Zarc?

B-Baller: I didn't think it was too bad, just kinda anticlimatic I guess. Wasn't a fan of the ending and I feel like Zarc vs Reiji should've been its own duel.

darktheking73: For B-Baller, when do you think the anime started to decline?

B-Baller: Probably around the end of the Synchro Arc. After they skipped the Yuya vs Yugo duel they were hyping up, it was kinda down hill from there for me.

darktheking73: For B-Baller, is the story going to end after the end of the dimensional war and Z-arc, or are you going to write a sequel?

B-Baller: Hmmm, probably not but who knows. Judging by how long it took for the Synchro arc to conclude, I'll most likely just finish the story with an additional arc after the Zarc stuff and then call it a day. I really don't want to be writing this story for the next ten years XD.

Edguardiazsluber: For Sora, why don't you have Reiji make your pendulum cards from the manga?

Sora: Well, Reiji? I'd love to have some fresh new toys to play with.

Reiji: I'll see what I can do.

Edguardiazsluber: For everyone, if the effects of some characters' Monsters are from the anime, why aren't the Monsters from the manga like that? For example, "Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon" has scale 0 in the manga but they don't apply it.

B-Baller: I mostly use tcg effects or I make changes to the manga effects because most manga effects are either really busted or really vague. Just depends on the card.

Edguardiazsluber: For Yuzu, "Prodigy Mozart" is the pendulum version of the Monster ace of your effect just as it was the case of Yuya for his dragon. But you got it from the bracelet and if so in which chapter, since I searched for it and I can't find any reference of what happened as well as it was mentioned in the Bracelets-Girl and Yu-boys Meeting.

Yuzu: During my duel against Johan all the way back in Scale-13, I unlocked Pendulum Summoning and Prodigy Mozart changed into a Pendulum Card. The lore reason why I gained Pendulum Summoning is because of Ray and some other stuff that we'll discover later on. No spoilers!

B-Baller: And with that, the QnA part of the special has concluded. Now, it's time to reveal the poll winners! The first winner will be for "who is your favorite character from the Fusion Dimension?" Suprisingly, it's a tie between two characters who both got 25 percent of the vote. The first is...Sora Shiun'in!

Sora: Wait, really?

Yuri: Congrats, Partner~

Yuzu: Nice one, Sora!

Shun: The only reason they voted for you is because of our rivalry.

Sora: Wrong, that's the only reason anyone would ever vote for you.

B-Baller: The second is...Fubuki Tenjoin, or better known in this fic as his alter ego, Darkness!

Yugo: Hold up, the readers voted for the guy who almost murdered me? What the hell?!

Darkness: Next time, I'll be successful.

B-Baller: Next, we have another tie for the winner of "who is your favorite character from the Synchro Dimension?" Both winners had 37.5 percent of the vote each. First, we have...the Former Duel King, Jack Atlas!

Crow: Jack...

Yugo: It's only natural someone as awesome as he was won.

B-Baller: And joining him is his former teammate, the Black Feather Duelist himself, Crow Hogan!

Crow: ...Me too, eh? Good, I always hated losing to Jack.

Serena: You deserve it, Crow.

Yuya: Yeah, congrats!

B-Baller: Moving on, we have the winner of "who is your favorite character from the Xyz Dimension?" With a whopping 50 percent of the vote, probably to the surprise of no one, give it up for the angry bird, Shun Kurosaki!

Ruri: Amazing, Shun!

Yuto: Well done.

Yugo: With your personality? No way-

Yuzu: Don't make me hit you with the fan.

Yugo: C-Congrats, Shun.

Sora: I guess we really are fated rivals, Kurosaki.

Shun: ...Thank you all.

B-Baller: And what do you know, we have a three characters who received 25 percent of the vote for "who is your favorite character from the Standard Dimension?" Starting off, we have Masumi Kotsu!

Masumi: Wow...that's a shock.

Hokuto: What are you talking about?

Yaiba: Of course they love you!

Sawatari: It's probably because of our team up.

Masumi: ...Are you seriously taking credit for me winning?

Sawatari: N-No? I'm just saying it's because you teamed up with me, the obvious winner for this question!

Masumi: Eh? There's no way you-

B-Baller: Joining her will be a fellow member of LDS, Shingo Sawatari!

Sawatari: H-Hah! I told you they loved me!

Masumi: ...I stand corrected.

B-Baller: And the third member of this three way tie is none other than the main man himself, Yuya Sakaki!

Yuya: I won...!

Sora: Of course you did!

Yuzu: It's only natural. Well done, Yuya.

Gongenzaka: I, the man Gongenzaka, am extremely proud of how far you've come!

Yugo: Good job, bro!

Crow: My man!

Serena: You really did reach the audience with your dueling.

Sawatari: From LDS, Masumi and I won...and from You Show, Sora and Yuya won...damn it! We almost outscored them!

B-Baller: Next, we have the winner for "who is your favorite legacy character?" With about 43 percent of the vote the winner is the Death God, Kiryu Kyosuke!

Yuto: So he won, huh...

Crow: Heheh...it looks like all of Team Satisfaction won something today.

B-Baller: Oh, here's an interesting one, "who is your favorite Yu-boy?" The winner got 50 percent of the vote and was none other than...Yuya Sakaki!

Yuya: S-Sorry guys.

Yugo: Don't be, everyone finally sees just how awesome you are!

Yuto: And Yuri didn't win. Good job.

Yuri: Tch...

B-Baller: Then, we have "who is your favorite Bracelet Girl?" Holy crap, with 83 percent of the vote, the winner is...Serena!

Ruri: Well done, Serena!

Serena: Thanks. To be honest...I didn't expect that.

Yuzu: You deserve it. You've grown so much that it's crazy.

Rin: And you're super strong. I can't imagine taking on the Black Rose Witch by myself.

B-Baller: This next one is the closest one yet, "who is your favorite character in the story overall?" This one's a tie, with both characters recieving 14 percent of the votes each. First we have...the newly crowned Duel King, Yugo!

Rin: Awesome, Yugo!

Yuzu: You did it!

Shun: Good work.

Yuya: Wait to go!

Yugo: Hell yeah! Take that, Yuri!

B-Baller: And joining the young king is the master of kidnapping himself, Yuri!

Yuri: Come again, Fusion?

Yugo: You gotta be shitting me!

B-Baller: Up next is "which ship is your favorite?" With a strong 75 percent of the vote, the winning ship is Yuri x Serena!

Serena: W-What?! That's gotta be some kind of mistake!

Yuri: Does this make us official?

B-Baller: We're in the final stretch! The penultimate question is "what were your top three favorite duels from the Standard Arc?" The third most voted duel with about 13 percent of the vote, we have the first full duel of this fic, Yuya Sakaki vs Yuto!

Yuto: That was a good one.

Yuya: Yeah, it was. I'll defeat you next time!

B-Baller: The other two most voted duels tied with 27 percent of the vote. The first is...Yuto vs Hell Kaiser!

Ruri: Wow Yuto, you're duels are really well recieved!

Yuto: Seems like it. Though, that duel wasn't exactly my favorite...

B-Baller: And the second was...Yuya Sakaki vs Reiji Akaba!

Yuya: That duel...

Reiji: That result is to be expected. Our clash was quite the spectacle.

Reira: ...Both of you were amazing during that duel.

Sawatari: Yeah, you guys really know how to show off and make everyone else question their abilities.

B-Baller: And now, the final question is "what were your top three favorite duels from the Synchro Arc?" This one was insanely close. The three most voted duels all shared 13 percent of the vote. The first is the lovers quarrel, Yuri vs Serena!

Yuri: What a commanding performance by yours truly.

Serena: Though I lost, I did enjoy going all out against you.

Yuri: And you definitely missed me.

Serena: ...Not even a little bit.

B-Baller: The second is one of my personal favorites, Yuto vs Yugo!

Yugo: Ahh, the birth of my Accel Synchro. Thank god Jack and Reiji managed to help me break free from my berserk state.

Yuto: Yeah. Sorry for trying to kill you back then, by the way.

Yugo: Hey, I tried to do the same thing while beserk back in Standard. Now we're even.

B-Baller: And last but certainly not least, the longest duel in this fic, Yuya vs Yugo.

Yugo: Man, what a duel that was!

Yuya: Yeah, I don't think we could ever top that performance. Though I wanted to win, I couldn't have asked for a better duel.

Yugo: Yeah, same here! Can't wait for our next match, Yuya!

Yuya: Me neither!

B-Baller: And with that...our special has now concluded!

Yuya: Thank you all so much for reading!

Yuzu: We all really appreciate the support!

B-Baller: This has been such a wild ride and I can't wait to continue it. I've got a lot planned for the next arc and I can't wait to share it with you all. Alright, say it with me now! The fun...

Everyone: ...HAS JUST BEGUN!

Yuya: See you all in Heartland!

Yuto: Prepare yourselves. This war is just getting started.
