Chapter 11: Flossy Flash, part 1
Daytime
(It starts at the comic store where Connor and Greg were walking over to the door until a police officer was thrown out in pain, causing the two to back away in fright then looked through the window to see Owlette is fighting the Color Bandits with weapons from Lunarford Enterprises once again.)
"Them again?" Connor asked
"Starting to think we'll see them more often." Greg said
(The two then jumped back in fright when Green was knocked into the window face first and fell to the ground as the other three kept fighting Owlette while the police chief was struggling to get himself unstuck.)
"Yeesh, for a dummy, Green sure knows how to tie a knot." the Police Chief said
"Tell me about it," (lifts her feet up, revealing them trapped in a snare.) "I've been trying to get this off since last night." Owlette said
"Ha! Each of us has a special skill, and you met Green's!" (swings a metal bat at Owlette, only to miss and hit Blue by accident, knocking him to the ground.) "Oops, sorry about that." the Red Bandit said
"Don't think you'll stop us!" the Yellow Bandit shouted (holds out her electric rifle and starts shooting at Owlette, trying to hit her.)
"You're lucky my feet are snared right now." Owlette said
(stands up laughing from hearing what Owlette said.) "Snared! You know? Cause she's stuck in the snare?" the Green Bandit asked
(catches Owlette with a whip and starts zapping her with it.) "Gotcha!" the Blue Bandit said
(groans from the amount of electricity hitting her and falls to the ground.) "How did you guys even get new weapons?" Owlette asked
"The team Yellow is part of is supplying us with them, and they're not even billing us for them. And so you know, these are called Lunar-morph weapons." (morphs his bat into a hammer and raises it over Owlette.) "Now then…" the Red Bandit didn't get to say
(swings past them, taking Red's weapon, surprising him and the others and landing on a table, revealing to be an adult female in a purple and yellow hero suit, who then stands up showing her face.) "Looks like I made it on time." the mysterious adult said
(Excitedly.) "Flossy Flash!" Owlette and the Green Bandit shouted
"The comic book hero?" the Red Bandit asked
"It was no comic, every adventure I had was out of this world." Flossy Flash said
"Well let's see if you can handle this!" the Yellow Bandit said (fires three blasts at Flossy Flash.)
"Flossy Flash, kick and crash!" Flossy Flash shouted (jumps into the air and kicks all three blasts away, knocking them into the Red, Yellow and Blue Bandits, zapping them for Owlette to get free from the whip as the three bandits fell over.)
"Whoa!" (gets sidekicked by Flossy Flash and slammed into a window face forward, startling Connor and Greg once more.) "taken down by my favorite hero." the Green Bandit said (slowly slides down and hits the floor.)
(flies over to Flossy Flash.) "Wow, you're actually here!" Owlette said
"I've been to many towns in my days, but Tarabiscoville takes the cake." Flossy Flash said (takes out a pocket knife and cuts the snare off of Owlette's feet.)
"I didn't know you have a pocket knife." Owlette said
"It's something I use in case I get myself stuck in anything that is like rope, and it's happened many times before." Flossy Flash said
"Well it's good to know that you come prepared." the Police Chief said
"Every hero should be prepared." Flossy Flash said (cuts one of the ropes, releasing the chief.)
"Yeah," (stands up.) "and now that you're here…" the Police Chief didn't get to say
"This ain't over!" the Red Bandit said (takes out a red ball and slams it onto the ground for a bunch of smoke to blast out, causing everyone to cough from it.)
(flaps her cape to blow the smoke away, only to see the Color Bandits have gotten away.) "Great, they got away again." Owlette said
"Does this happen a lot?" Flossy Flash asked
"You'll get use to it." the Police Chief said
(an hour later, Amaya was in the park looking at a picture of herself as Owlette with Flossy Flash on a newspaper with Connor and Greg next to her.)
"Flossy Flash? In Tarabiscoville? That must've been a big thing to happen." Connor said
"Yeah, and to be saved by her? It was amazing." Amaya said
"You might even be working with Flossy Flash to stop the villains as well." Greg said
"Really? Teaming up with Flossy Flash to stop the villains, this is gonna be great." Amaya said
Nighttime
(Owlette was on the roof of a building anxiously waiting for Flossy Flash to work with her to stop the Nighttime villains' schemes.)
"Where can Flossy Flash be? I told her to meet me on this roof tonight." Owlette said
(lands on the roof behind Owlette, startling her.) "Sorry I'm late, some of the buildings look the same in this town." Flossy Flash said
"It's okay, some cities have that. Now since this is your first night here…" (hears an explosion and looks down to see the Mobile Lab driving fast with Flybot 118C at the controls while Romeo is flying ahead with Catboy chasing after them in his Cat-Car.) "Just in time, one of the nighttime villains are up to their tricks again." Owlette said
"Who was that flying boy?" Flossy Flash asked
"That's Romeo, he recently got his full power from the Psychoactive Asteroid a few nights ago." Owlette said
"Sounds bad." Flossy Flash said
"It is, but I was able to stop his plan, it was in space when that happened." Owlette said
"You've been to space?" Flossy Flash asked
"Yup, many times before. Now then, whatever Romeo is up to, we can stop him. Let's go!" Owlette said (jumps off the roof and flies after Romeo.)
"This'll be interesting." Flossy Flash said (presses a button on her wrist and jumps down, running on top of the street lamps until a motorcycle drives in for her to jump on it and follows Owlette after Romeo.)
"You have a motorcycle?" Owlette asked
"I call it my Flossy-Cycle!" Flossy Flash said
(the two continued down the road as they passed the Cat-Car, surprising Catboy until they reached the Mobile Lab where a small turret popped out the side on the back of it and started shooting lasers at the two making them dodge the lasers as Romeo laughed.)
"Did you really think I'd let you get on my Mobile Lab to stop me? I upgraded it after I made the Flying Fortress!" Romeo said
"I wondered what that giant thing in the park was." Flossy Flash said
"Keep on them Flossy, I'll try and slow them down from ahead." Owlette said (flies in front of the Mobile Lab, faster than Catboy and blocks Flybot 118C's view from driving clearly.)
"Hey! Get away from there!" Romeo said (shoots a bolt of lightning at Owlette, causing her to jump in fright and hang onto the side of the Mobile Lab cockpit.)
"I forgot you can do that!" Owlette said
"I've been pretty busy training with these powers I got that night and so... I can use them against…" (gets interrupted from Flossy Flash jumping her cycle, knocking him away and into a trash can, making him stuck in it as they pass him while he tries to get himself out.) "No fair!" Romeo shouted
(Flybot 118C kept driving as he tried to shake Owlette off as Flossy Flash drove over to try and stop the Mobile Lab until Owlette regained her pace and flew back in front of Flybot 118C's view, blocking him from seeing the road ahead until Flossy Flash drove pass Flybot 118C's view, pulling Owlette along for Flybot 118C to panic from seeing a lamp pole ahead and tried to steer away only to slam into it, making himself woozy from the impact.)
(drives her cycle near the Mobile Lab for Owlette to fly near her as she steps off.) "The nighttime villains of this city are a bunch of kids?" Flossy Flash asked
"Me and my friends fought them many times before I first fought the Color Bandits, which was before they met Yellow." Owlette said
"This is gonna be quite the adventure." Flossy Flash said
"Adventure?" Owlette asked
"The villains I faced many times back where I lived all retired. I haven't had a lot of excitement since they did until I saw the news about you in this city, so I thought I'd move here and help on stopping the villains here." Flossy Flash said
"You're moving into Tarabiscoville?" Owlette asked
"That's right, I thought you wouldn't mind." Flossy Flash said
"Of course not, I've always dreamed of teaming up with you to fight villains." Owlette said
"Owl!" Flybot 118C shouted (drives the Mobile Lab past the two, kicking up dust, making them cough as he and Romeo escape.)
"At least we stopped them from what they were gonna do." Owlette said
"You know, I have a device that can help us find villains that are about to do anything evil." Flossy Flash said (takes out a radio with a screen on it.)
"You can use it to track down villains even when they're about to start something bad?" Owlette asked
"Yup. I call it the Flossy Finder." (hears it beep and located where the villain is.) "And just in time, let's go, partner!" Flossy Flash said (jumps onto her motorcycle and zooms off, leaving Owlette shocked from what she said.)
(excitedly.) "Partner?" Owlette asked
(throughout the night, Owlette and Flossy Flash have gone to were the villain acts are happening, starting with Demo-Nator placing dynamite all over the school and about to set them off only for the whole school to be splashed with water making him look to where it came from and saw Owlette and Flossy Flash above him and ran away before they could catch him as they defused the switch for the dynamite, next they were chasing Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos across town to get back a scroll from the museum until they were able to catch up and take the scroll from the ninjas then headed back to the museum as Night Ninja stomped his foot in anger. Later the two were in the park tussling with the Color Bandits again as they were in they're truck shooting lasers at the two to knock them away only to lose their weapons from the duo and fled from the park as the two shook hands for their hard work. An hour later, the two were at a ceremony hosted by Xavier Lunarford, celebrating all the good Owlette and Flossy Flash have done.)
"And it is great pleasure that I award Owlette and Flossy Flash for their heroic deeds for the city." Xavier Lunarford said (shakes Owlette and Flossy Flash's hands after two guards give them both a trophy.)
Daytime
(at Amaya's house, Amaya was holding a picture of her as Owlette with Flossy Flash from the ceremony, happy about the missions she went on with her without knowing Connor and Greg had come into her room.)
"Hey Amaya." Connor said
(jumps a bit from hearing Connor and puts the picture down.) "Oh, hey guys, I didn't hear you two come in." Amaya said
"You seem to be spending a lot of time with Flossy Flash." Greg said
"Yeah, I never thought I'd become partners with Flossy Flash, best time of my life. She even wanted to tell me something tonight." Amaya said
"She did?" Connor asked
"About what?" Greg asked
"Not sure, but I'm sure it'll be good." Amaya said
(unknown to them, Flybot 118C was watching them from outside the open window hearing the whole thing and left after hearing their talk.)
Nighttime
(Night has come and Owlette was waiting for Flossy Flash near the school as she paced back and forth wondering where she is until Flossy Flash appeared out of nowhere, startling her.)
"Sorry I'm late, had to stop a strange talking monkey from doing something mischievous." Flossy Flash said
"That would be Munki-Gu, he's quite the prankster, a few of them tend to go out of hand though." Owlette said
"I see, oh, before I forget, I want to let you know that I'm currently getting my stuff unpacked in my new home here in Tarabiscoville." Flossy Flash said
"Maybe I can help." Owlette said
"No need, I have some friends that are helping with them, they're the same ones that have been making those comics of the adventures I went on before hearing about you." Flossy Flash said
"Oh, I'm guessing it's gonna take a while until we can team up again?" Owlette asked
"I'm sure it'll be done by tomorrow, I best head back now, got a lot of unpacking to do." Flossy Flash said
"Okay." Owlette said
"Don't worry, we'll team up against more villains tomorrow, see ya then!" Flossy Flash said (back flips onto her motorcycle and drives back to her home.)
"Even her moves are amazing." Owlette said
"Really amazing." (startles Owlette from behind to see her and Motsuki in the air above her.) "been a while, feathers." Luna Girl said
"It sure has, and what do you mean by that?" Owlette asked
"Oh, nothing. Just left a little something for your big hero in her pocket." Luna Girl said
"A moon crystal that makes others think mean thoughts. Eep!" Motsuki said
"A what!? I have to save Flossy Flash!" Owlette shouted (flies into the air and heads to where Flossy Flash's house is.)
"Motsuki, you know what to do." Luna Girl said
"Teleporty time!" Motsuki said (grabs Luna Girl's hand and teleports to Flossy Flash's house.)
(flies out from behind the wall of the school with Flybot 118C following behind.) "Good job with the switcheroo, 118C." (holds up the moon crystal Luna Girl and Motsuki told Owlette about.) "This will work perfectly for my new plans." Romeo said
"Owl." Flybot 118C said
"If you want, we can go to where Owlette is going." Romeo said
"Owl!" Flybot 118C shouted (grabs Romeo's hand, surprising him as he does the same thing Motsuki did and teleports to Flossy Flash's house.)
(With Owlette, she had made it to Flossy Flash's house where she sees Flossy Flash parking her motorcycle inside the garage.)
"That's Flossy Flash's house? I thought it'd be bigger." (flies up to an open window to look inside to see how much stuff is getting unpacked until she saw there weren't any boxes being unpacked, just Flossy Flash doing some stunts with a crew filming it. whispering.) What?" Owlette asked
(pulls Owlette away from the window.) "Don't think you'll stop the moon crystal from turning your favorite hero evil." Luna Girl said
"Motsuki wants new baddie! Eep!" Motsuki said
(appears out of nowhere with Romeo next to him, startling the three.) Owl." Flybot 118C said
"Do you mean this crystal?" Romeo asked (holds out the moon crystal towards the moon sisters.)
"Hey! How did you…" Luna Girl didn't get to ask
"Ah! Something's in my pocket!" Flossy Flash shouted
"Huh?" (Looks through the window to see what was going on with Luna Girl, Motsuki, Romeo and Flybot 118C peeking in from the sides. whispering.) "Flossy Flash wouldn't say anything like that." Owlette said
(takes out what was in her pocket, revealing to be a rock.) "Hmm, just a stupid rock." Flossy Flash (tosses it behind her back for the director to catch it.)
"Now Flossy Flash, remember why we're here." the Director said
"I know, gotta keep the villains from causing trouble in Tarabiscoville. But we all know why we're really here." Flossy Flash said (rubs her thumb against her index and middle fingers.)
"Yeah, money." the Director said
(quietly gasps. whispering.) "Money?" Owlette asked
"Many comic makers do it for the fans, but I'm doing this for the money." Flossy Flash said
(walks over to Flossy Flash.) "You got a letter, fan mail from the same one each week." a Crew Member said
(takes the letter and reads who it's from.) "The same girl named Amaya?" Flossy Flash asked
"Want me to read it to you?" the Director asked
(tosses the letter to the director.) "What do you think?" Flossy Flash asked
"Right, why bother reading any of the fan mail?" (rips the letter in half, without knowing Owlette saw it with her own eyes.) "We're just in this comic business for the money anyway." the Director said
(As Flossy Flash and the crew laughed, Owlette started to tear up and flew away with the four nighttime villains that watched feel bad about it. Later at Amaya's house, the four nighttime villains were outside sitting at the small table as Flossy Flash merch was in a pile on the other side of the yard until Night Ninja and three of his Ninjalinos appeared out of nowhere.)
"What do we have here? A raid of some sort? Oh this is gonna be... (jumps a bit from a bust of Flossy Flash to hit the ground, breaking apart.) What's going on?" Night Ninja asked
"Owl." Flybot 118C said
"Say what now?" Night Ninja asked
"Turns out Flossy Flash isn't what bird brain thought." Luna Girl said
"And after tonight, she lost all trust in Flossy Flash." Romeo said
(inside Amaya's room, Amaya was throwing the last of her Flossy Flash merchandise out of the window until she grabbed the photo of her as Owlette at the ceremony last night with Flossy Flash, remembering the good times she had before tonight and then threw it into her trash can, shattering the glass. She then climbed into her bed to sleep, but then started to cry about her favorite hero being a fraud as the photo from the frame in the trash can was crumbled a bit.)
