Anyway I took down my Ninjago/Nexo Knights crossover fic. 1 no one interested, 2 no one interest. Had it up for awhile. So I took it down and thought maybe I should work on that first chapter for that a little more

The same night, Cole returns to the quarters that the Ninja are staying in. Only to see Lilly sitting on the steps.

"Lilly?" His voice made her jump as he approaches. "What are you doing out here?"

"I couldn't sleep." She admitted. "I saw you were gone and I thought you were still mad at me." She explained.

"No." He sat down next to her. "Lil." He wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "I'm sorry." He apologized. "I've been bottling up at how much I miss your mother, that I snapped."

"I'm sorry too. When Knot came onto the field and not being able to pound him into the ground was hard. It's because of him we lost mom and Kai to the Neither Space."

"It sure would be easier if we knew where Master Wu really is." Cole said with a heavy sigh.

"Lloyd is doing a really good job at being Master." Lilly praised with a smile, then it faded. "But I knew wishes for his Uncle."

"It's not just Lloyd who wants him back, we all do."

"Do you believe Raya's right?" Lilly asks curiously. "Do we really believe that Master Wu is dead?"

"I … I don't want to admit it or want to believe it." Her father shook his head. "But Master Wu is over a thousand years old. That old man has seen a lot of everything."

Lilly looks down. "I really miss him."

"We all do sweetheart." Cole wrapped his arm around her shoulders again. "Come on, we both need more sleep."

Together father and daughter walked back into the building.

Inside the Neither Space. The four Forbidden figures stood in front of the portal looking like they were arguing.

"Any clue what they're saying?" Bonzle asks as she, Kai and Eleanor watched.

"How would I know?" Kai asked. "I can't read lips."

"They look upset." Eleanor guessed. "Here's the big question. Why?"

"Again. How would I."-

"Where are they going?" Bonzle suddenly asked.

"They're not going - oh wait, they are."

"Nice one leader." Eleanor said dryly with sarcasm as they watched the dark figures leaving.

"Nice!" Kai said as he stood up. "Lets' give this another shot!"

They jump down from their hiding place and hurry up to the portal.

In the morning, Lloyd opens the door. "Let's go, everyone!" He announces, the team groan as they stretch and climb out of their beds.

"Bathroom!" Raya and Lilly shout in union and try to race each other to the hall all the while pushing and shoving each other out of the way.

Lloyd rolled his eyes and shook his head. Lifting his head he saw Wyldfyre. "You too, Wyldfyre. Time for warm ups."

Wyldfyre groans. "I lost my Heat powers." She moves away from a sleeping Riyu. "I literally got nothing to warm up with!"

"There's more to being a Ninja then Elemental Powers." Lloyd told her.

"Yeah." She whines, lowering her head. "Like sleeping in. Don't Ninja sleep in?"

"Only on Sundays." Raya answered for Lloyd as she walked back into the main room. "Come on Wyldfyre, it's a new day!"

"You need to focus on learning Spinjitzu." Lloyd told Wyldfyre.

Wyldfyre grumbled as she pushed away from a still sleeping Riyu.

"I know what'll make you feel better, Wyldfyre." Lilly said with a grin as she comes into the room. "Raya and I can tell you what happened to Lloyd and how he learned Spinjitzu." She said with a big grin.

"Lilly! You were no near being born!" Lloyd exclaimed while Raya laughs.

"Is it really our fault that Jay told us?" Raya tells him while laughing, she stops laughing when she see's the photo of Kai on the wall.

"What happened?" Wyldfyre asked, Lilly starts to shove her outside.

"It starts with pirates." She began.

"COLE!" Lloyd screams, his face red with embarrassment as they leave the quarters.

"Honestly Lloyd, what are you so embarrassed about?" Lilly is heard.

Raya moves to the picture of Kai. "Dad, we really need you. I need you."

"Hello? Are you there?" Kai's suddenly voice came through the empty room, making Raya jump.

"Dad?" She asks as she looks around to find Riyu waking up and squealing. "Riyu, did you hear him too?"

Riyu squeals as he circles his bed and looks down at a stone.

"Riyu, is someone with you?" Kai asked as Riyu picks up the stone and and approaches Raya.

"Dad! Dad, can you hear me?" Raya calls as the stone rolls over to her.

"I said, Riyu, if there's someone there let me know!" Kai's voice came out of the stone.

Raya blinks at the stone. "He can't hear me?" She sits down on her knees in front of the stone.

Suddenly Riyu gives his powers to Raya and she gasps.

"We might not have much time." Kai continued.

Raya sits back down her knees in front of the stone. "Dad?" She calls.

"Raya!?" A shocked Kai exclaims. "Is that you!?"

"Dad!" Raya takes the stone and holds in both her cupped hands. "How are you talking through this stone?"

"'Stone'?" Her father repeats confused. "I don't know." He shook his head. "I've got some of Riyu's scales stuck to me, so Bonzle things the physical connection lets us communicate. Dunno why it works with you though."

"You're my dad." Raya said fondly as Riyu rubs the side of his head against her, making her smile with tears. "We share a lot more then just scales."

"The Forbidden Five, four, whatever, they're also talking to someone on the outside." Kai continued. "Probably planning something terrible."

"Great, more bad news."

"Let me guess, wherever you are, the world's in danger again?" Kai asks with a smile.

"Dad, we found Jay!" Raya reveals. "But he's not Jay anymore."

"You've lost me."

"He lost his memory. The empty head has no more memories of who he really is!"

"Don't worry Raya." Kai tried to reassure her. "All Jay needs is to get soaked and he'll be complaining about only one set of underwear!"

"Now that's the Jay I remember!" Raya exclaimed as she stood up, still cradling the stone in both her hands. "Maybe this stone could do more then allow us to talk to you. It could potentially open a doorway out."

Suddenly a loud noise erupts making both Raya and Riyu jump as Raya held the stone close to her chest and the connection breaks.

"Raya! Raya!" Kai panics. "What happened?" He asks in panic turning to Bonzle who could only shake her head and shrug.

"Sounded like something from her end." Eleanor said with worry.

Kai shook his head. "I gotta get back to her!" He cups his hands around his mouth. "Raya!"

In the city, the Ninja walk around. Cole yawns as he stretches. "It took me forever to get back to sleep." He said as he, Zane and Lilly walk in a line. "Every time I close my eyes I saw that monastery again. Why now? Why me? Why is it here?"

"Perhaps rather then asking why you were guided to a mysterious monastery in the middle of the night, a better line of inquiry might be how you could reach it."

"You've always told me that the Monastery Of Spinjitzu was the only one in the land." Lilly said with a frown.

"That is because it use to be the only one." Cole told her.

"That is what we use to believe." Zane added.

The team returns to their quarters. Finding Arin standing in front of a white board.

"You're back." He greats.

"Arin, where've you been?" Lloyd asks, making the teen turn back around to what he's working on. "You were gone again when we woke up."

"I had stuff to think over." The white board has drawings and arrows pointing at each picture with notes written all over the white board.

"Right!" Lloyd exclaimed as the Ninja approach the board. "The detective work. Did you find something in Ras' dorm?"

"No. Ras caught Riyu and me."

The Ninja gasp.

"How'd you escape?" Wyldfyre asks. "Smoke bomb?" Everyone looks at her.

"I really thought being a Ninja would involve way more smoke bombs."

"Ras let us go."

"Ras?" Lilly asks in surprise. "That's not making any since!"

"Yeah! Are we talking about the same Ras here?" William asks. "Big scary Tiger man, hates dragons? He let you go?"

"Maybe we don't understand his real motivation yet." Arin said.

"I don't find that true at all." Lilly said with her arms folded.

"He let me go."

"Doesn't matter." Lilly shook her head. "Lloyd, he's bugged Ras put a bug on him!"

"Lilly, calm down." Lloyd told her gently, then turns his attention to Arin. "So you don't think he's behind what happened to the Matriarch Dragons?" He asks.

"Ras is the obvious suspect." Arin agreed. "He led the Claws Of the Imperium against a Matriarch before." He points at the drawn picture of Ras on the board. "But nothing connects him to the stolen horns yet. And don't forget, Ras was also attacked by a bot that first night."

"Our past with Ras may have created a confirmation bias." Zane said thoughtfully. "That blinds us to other threats."

"Yeah, threats like the ugly guy, Bleckt!" Wyldfyre shoves past Cole towards the white board and grabs the drawn picture of Bleckt.

"That old fart is a stuffy old librarian." Lilly told her. "He can't be a threat."

"Have you seen the way he talks to Roby? Total villain energy."

"Being mean doesn't automatically make you a villain." Lilly commented.

"Even his name sounds like the sound you make when you barf. Bleeckt." Wyldfyre argued.

"Bleckt defeating three Matriarch dragons seems improbable." Zane said as he approaches.

"Agree." Arin turns to Wyldfyre, snatching his picture back. "And that's a drawing of Zur."

"Uh." Wyldfyre shrugs with a smile. "If you say so."

"The Devonian who beat Zane?" Cole questioned. "Why would he be a suspect?"

"Well, I did hear rumors back in the Crossroads." Sora started. "About Devonians grinding dragon horns into a powder. They mix with food for strength in battle."

"How do the Dragon Horns mix into the equation?" Lilly asks.

"Dragon horns can make you stronger. But also fill you with rage." Sora continued.

"Oh." Lilly sighs. "Is that all?"

"Rumors and gossip aren't evidence." Lloyd reminds. "That's what they are, just rumors and gossip."

"Zeatrix has been oddly confident about winning the games." Cole reminds. "It's like she knows something we don't."

"And she wasn't attacked by bots." Arin reminds. "Even though she drew a lot of attention at the banquet earlier that night."

"She definitely has a grudge against us for dethroning Beatrix." Sora added. "Even though we totally did her a favor."

"Psh! She's super powerful but can't control her anger." Wyldfyre added. "Huh! Pathetic."

"Like you can control yours?" Lilly questioned with her arms folded.

Wyldfyre sticks her tongue out at her, and Lilly blew her a raspberry. Lloyd studies the picture of Zeatrix.

"Uh, Lloyd?" Arin, and the others are looking at him. "What do you think?"

"Well, Zeatrix was once next in line for the throne of the kingdom that ran on Dragon Power. If anyone knows what to do with those horns, it's her."

"Great, we have a bunch of suspects but no proof." Cole complained. "Now what?" He asks with a sigh.

"I still have one lead." Arin points at a symbol on the board. "I found this symbol in the area where the bot attack started from. But I have no idea what it means."

A thought crossed Cole's face. "Hey, you should check the Temple City Museum. Lilly, and I walked through there and saw all kinds of ancient art and writing."

"Really? I'll go right away." He moves to leave, only for Sora to block his path.

"I could come with you." She offers with a hopeful smile, Arin says nothing as he simple brushes past her on his way out.

"Cold much?" Lilly huffs, folding her arms and glaring after Arin.

"Did that feel weird to you?" Cole asks, turning to Zane who approaches the white board.

"My Social Encounter Algorithm registered high levels of cringe."

"Lloyd, can we talk about Arin?" Sora asks, turning to the blonde next to her.

Lloyd suddenly gasps, he grabs his head painfully then his stomach as he doubles over.

"Lloyd!" Lilly gasps as the Ninja all surround him.

"Another vision?" Sora asks. "I thought Rontu taught you to control them!"

"This one, so strong." Lloyd gasped in deep breaths. "I think today's the day I fight Zeatrix."

Cole gasps.

"And I'm gonna lose." Lloyd added with a serious look.

Later, at the match. Sora approaches the Ninja. "Has anyone seen Riyu?"

"Now that you mention it, Raya's been missing too." Nya said with worry.

"Don't worry Nya, they probably got distracted by something." Cole said.

Nya gives him the stink eye. "Oh?" She raises an eyebrow. "With Eleanor not here, you get distracted by all the food!"

Cole folds his own arms. "Do not!" He defended himself, until somebody walked passed holding a big apple pie and some finger food.

"And he's drooling." Lloyd said with amusement while folding his arms.

Satisfied, Nya smirks as she places a hand on her hip. "Point taken."

"Hey!" Cole whines.

"Dad, can we?" Lilly asks hopefully.

"Yes." Cole nods once. "Let's go!"

"Yesss!" Lilly cheered.

The Ninja watch as the father and daughter run off to a concession stand. Sora turns to Zane.

"Are you really related to them?" She asks confused.

"I am involved with Eleanor's sister." Zane answered simply, making Sora blink.

"Oh."

"Pixel is also a Nindroid." Nya clarified.

"Elemental Masters, are you ready to battle?" Roby questions as he flies in on his disc. "To entertain? To win? First up, the hard fighting snake who's bound to make you shake. It's Frak, the Elemental Master Of Quake! Versus a descendent of Devonian King, who'll throw you right out of the ring, it's Zur, the Elemental Master of Reflex!"

The two profiles appear on the big screen.

The field goes up to prepare itself.

Cole and Eleanor approach, both holding ice cream cones.

"Excuse me, Master Cole, sir." Frak approaches Cole. "Can I ask a question about your Earth power?"

"Uh, sure, I guess."

I've been practicing with it since our match, but I feel resistance from the stone I don't experience when using my Quake energy."

"You're probably trying to lift. Earth's power comes from below. Instead of pulling up, reach down and push out." Cole instructed.

Frak does so as he feels the energy. "Wow. I never considered how two similar powers could be so different." He stands and bows to Cole. "Thank you, sir!" He looks at Lilly. "I did mean what I said, I'm not the bad guy."

"Just remember once thing. Once this tournament is over with. My father gets his powers back." She said evenly.

"Of course."

"Lilly." Cole turns to her.

"No, no, it's ok. I understand." Frak nods before leaving.

"Dad, why'd you tell him that?" Lilly huffs.

"Yeah." Sora nods. "Are you sure it's a good idea to help someone on Ras' team?"

"You heard what Zane said." Cole replied. "We can't let our past with Ras color our judgment."

"But dad, a Serpentine?" Lilly shuttered.

"The past is the past." Cole turns to her. "What has Master Wu always taught us?" He questions.

"Butts is for sitting." Lilly grouched, folding her arms.

"That's one of is sayings." Lloyd smiled, shocking Sora.

"Wait! That's true!? When Raya said it, I thought she made it up!"

"Nope." Lloyd shook his head. "Over the years, my uncle has taught us lot of weird and strange things."

"And they've been normal to us since." Cole added.

The Ninja watch as Frak starts his fight. Lloyd freezes when a woman's smooth voice is heard.

"If that were us up there, the battle would be already be over." Zeatrix said as she comes around a corner to approach Lloyd. "When I was in exile, all I had was the dream of exacting revenge on my sister." As she continues to rant, Lloyd suddenly grabs his head in pain. "You Ninja stole that chance from me. Seems only right to exact that same revenge on you."

Lloyd breaths heavily as he moves away from her.

"This is the Legendary Green Ninja who dethroned my sister?" Zearix shook her head. "Sad." She walks away.

"Lloyd!" Lilly cried, hurrying up to him.

"I'm ok." He tried to reassure her.

"Master Wu was always meditating." She reminded. "I bet meditating would work with you on controlling more of your visions."

"I appreciate it Lil." He smiles. "I do."

"But your not, are you?"

"Not even my uncle can help me now."

After his win, Frak comes up to a very angry Ras.

"How dare you see counsel from the enemy!"

"What? Master Cole?" Frak asked innocently and confused. "Well, it's his power, I just thought - he stutters.

"Master Cole!? I am your Master, no other. Do you understand!?" Ras demanded.

"Uh, yes, Master."

From where they stood, Cole and Lilly saw the whole thing.

"Can I take back what I said earlier?" Lilly asks.

"Only if you want to." Cole told her, before walking off.

An hour later, Lilly stood in front of a soda machine. She smiles as she pulls her soda out, but when she straightens up she sees Frak a few feet away.

Chewing on her lower lip, she moves over to him as he stands by himself. "Hey." She greets, and he looks up startled.

"Uh, hi."

"I'm sorry I seem distant and scared to be around you." She starts her apology, making him smile.

"It's ok."

Lilly looks at her soda. "Here." She hands the soda can to him. "You look like you need a drink."

"But I don't wanna take yours."

"It's ok, I'll grab another. How'd you get involved in a guy like Ras anyway?"

Frak looks down, still feeling a shaken when Ras yelled at him. "It's a long story."

She nods. "Ok."

"Lilly!" Zane calls from around the corner. "Lilly, where are you?"

"I have to go." Lilly stood up, she studies Frak. "Are you gonna be ok?" She asks.

"Oh, yeah." He smiles. "Thank you for the soda."

"Oh course. I hope it somewhat makes up for the way I've been acting towards you."

"Most definitely!"

Lilly moves back to the soda machine, getting another can before hurrying over to where Zane is.

"There you are. Come, Lloyd is on edge."

They make there way over to the rest of the Ninja.

"You're doing great, buddy." Cole was saying.

"And you've been already beaten the odds by getting this far." Zane added.

Sora pushes herself between Cole and Zane. "You're losing Lloyd. But not to her, to your own fear."

"You're right. But how do I fight a battle I've seen myself lose?"

"When I faced Cinder, you told me not to make my fear a self fulfilling prophecy. And I won." Sora reminded. "Ninja don't fight because we know we'll win, we do it because some things are worth fighting for, no matter what the outcome is."

Lloyd smile, he down a swallow of his water. "Maybe I should take my own advice." He stood up and his smile disappears.

The second round for Lloyd and Zeatrix was instance.

"Lloyd is the winner!" Roby announces.

Suddenly Zeatrix flies up behind Lloyd.

"Hey, hey, stop!" Roby yells.

"LLOYD!" Lilly screamed.

Lloyd turns just as Zeatrix charges at him, smashing her sword into his side, knocking him off the bridge. The Ninja race towards Lloyd.

"Lloyd!" Lilly carefully lifts his head and rests it in her lap.

Roby watches as the Security bots arrest Zeatrix, he turns to look down at the Ninja, who's all gathered around Lloyd.

"Lloyd?" Lilly looks down at him with worry as he looks up at her blurry eyed. "Can you hear me?"

Lloyd tried to sit up, but he falls back, collapsing with a faint.
