Mass Effect: ODST Lost

ODST Captain Nathanial Renkov unintentionally becomes the first Helljumper to survive being dropped through a Slipspace anomaly. The problem? He has no idea where is and is surrounded by aliens the UNSC has no record of. Even worse? No one knows what the UNSC is. Follow his story as he tries to make sense of his new surroundings while trying to survive a new galactic threat.

5. Update

Hello! I'm not normally one for direct notes like this, but I felt the situation warranted an exception. Before I get started with this author's note, I'd like to begin by saying that this story is not dead! The next chapter is done and ready for upload, pending a final spell and grammar check (something I feel like I've been fighting with more than usual lately lol), and will be uploaded by this time tomorrow. I will also be updating some account info, profile name and such, so don't be surprised if you get a notification for someone you don't remember following lol!

Now that the immediate concern has been addressed, I would also like to apologize for taking so long since the last upload, however there was ample reasoning for it this time! In addition to general writers block, which has certainly been kicking my ass as usual, I am happy to announce that I have been working on some original material! The good news is that I am hopefully (sometime in the future, whenever that may be lol) one step closer to publishing an original work and achieving my dream of becoming a true author! The bad news (if you can really call it bad news, not entirely sure as of yet lol) is that it has ballooned out further than anticipated and become something I can scarcely recognize lol! Which means that it may take more time than I expected before I can go forward with it.

However, I feel like I've gotten enough planned out that I can take a break from it and focus a bit more on ODST Lost! I have so many plans for this story that I can't wait to get to! Makes it kinda hard to focus on the story's here and now and not on those future ideas lol!

For those of you who are interested in some more original work from me, while I may not have anything from my primary work, I do have a collection of short stories that I have decided to start writing and uploading over on Royal Road for you to sample!
