(A/N: I don't own the song by NKOTB)
About eight months had gone by, and Paula's term as Mayor had seen her office in harmony with the DA's office and the first responders like never before most of the time. Everything was going great for the Reagan family and their relatives or future relatives. Danny and Maria were going strong, so were Jess and Will. Peter had long since returned to lacrosse, Lara Jean never missing a game if she could help it. Her father Dan, and sisters Margot and Kitty had even appeared at a few dinners, along with Lara Jean herself. As life would have it, Dan worked at St. Vic's as an OBGYN and knew Will. Laurie and Joe's kids were starting daycare,as were Jamie and Eddie's kids.
On a sleepy rainy Saturday morning, Erin woke up with a start, thinking she had peed herself due to Samantha and Noah, her soon-to-be-born babies enjoying the bladder bouncy castle way too much. Once she had fully woken up, she realized what had actually happened, managing to wake up her husband
"Jack! Sami and Noah are coming, my water broke!"
Their hospital bags having been packed long ago, Jack alerted the rest of the family via group chat and helped Erin start to walk a bit around their new house they'd acquired after he sold his place in Tribeca, hoping to dilate a bit further before going to the hospital, since she had always been sent home when she had first arrived with her two first deliveries. That gave time for most of the family to actually beat them to the hospital, and for Peter to wake up and get ready, being a bit of a slowpoke in the mornings, especially rainy or cold ones. He soon perked up, though, and smiled excitedly
"Babies soon!"
He would never object to being called a baby hog, because everyone knew that was a true descriptor for the boy. And the family currently had 5 toddlers and was about to gain 2 newborns, his own siblings, so it was not hard to see that he was in a happy place in life.
Everyone was now at the hospital, Jack and Erin going to a birthing suite. She had opted for a natural birth, though due to twins, the OR was on standby. Now all the family could do was wait, including Nicky, who had hopped on a plane as soon as she cashed in some of her paid time off. 15 hours and a nearly-broken hand later, Samantha Mary Reagan Kavinsky and Noah Grant Reagan Kavinsky were born, and properly fussed over. Thankfully, they were healthy enough and full term, so the were able to go home the next day.

Jess's pov
I was on a walk with Will in a beautiful garden, when he stopped and took a knee in front of me. I kinda guessed where this was headed, hand flying to my mouth as I gasped. Just as I was thinking, he pulled a velvet box from his coat pocket and cleared his throat
"Jess, I know my best days are the ones with you in them. Your smile, your wit, your light, your laugh... Everything that makes you the woman I love. I promise to be everything you need and so much more if you would do me the honor and be my wife. Would you m-"

The Detective cut him off by kissing him once she had stooped down to his level, both nearly tumbling over, laughter overtaking them while he slid the ring onto her finger.
Danny's pov
Elsewhere in New York, Maria and I were out on a date, a New Kids On The Block concert, actually. But the crowd won't be expecting what's gonna happen tonight. Because of my encounter with some entertainment types during my cases, I had an in with the Wahlberg brothers, the frontmen for the band, and I had been encouraged to propose at the show. I'd be serenading Maria during I'll be loving you (forever), one of her favorite songs, and then proposing. We get to the concert, and dance and sing along to the first few songs until Mark Whalberg takes the mic
"Will Danny Reagan please join us up here?"
Maria looked at me quizzically, but I just brought her to the first row and climbed upstage, standing between Mark and his brother Donnie, who passed me the mic. I gulped, then spoke
"Maria, this next one is for you"
After that, I began to sing, eyes not leaving hers
Yeah
I'm not that kind of guy who can take a broken heart
So don't ever leave
I don't want to see us part
The very thought of losing you means
That everything
Would go down under
I'll be loving you forever
Just as long as you want me to be
I'll be loving you forever
All this love's for you and me, yeah
(I'll be loving you)
I'll be
(I'll be loving you)
Loving you
(The things you do)
Yeah, it's forever
(I'll be loving you)
I'll be
(I'll be loving you)
Loving you, yeah
I count the blessings that keep our love new
There's one for me
And a million for you
There's just so much that I want to say
But when I look at you
All my thoughts get in the way
I'll be loving you forever
Just as long as you want me to be
I'll be loving you forever
All this love's for you and me, yeah
(I'll be loving you)
I'll be
(I'll be loving you)
Loving you
(The things you do)
Yeah, it's forever
(I'll be loving you)
I'll be
(I'll be loving you)
Loving you, yeah
We've gone too far to ever turn back now
This love will last forever
I can see it all now
I'll be
(I'll be loving you)
Loving you
(The things you do)
Yeah, it's forever
(I'll be loving you)
I'll be
(I'll be loving you)
Loving only you, girl
Oh girl
I'll be loving only you
(I'll be loving you)
Be loving you girl
I then got back to our spot, after my mic was back in Donnie's hand and knelt in front of Maria, who was crying happily. I asked
"Maria, will you marry me?"
Her lips crashed into mine, a yes in my book.
A few days later, we went out with Jess and Will, quickly taking stock that they had gotten engaged as well. Congratulations went around, and Maria spoke, sharing a smile with Jess
"What about a double wedding? You and Danny never got to celebrate a lot of family stuff or birthdays, Jess. I'm fine with the idea of giving you both a joint wedding if all four of us agree. Besides, it's not like my family will be coming, so our guest lists are practically the same, for the most part."
Jess started laughing
"I was just about to say something like that. Are you sure you and I aren't the twins?"
She had added that last part jokingly, then thanked Maria for her thoughtfulness and selflessness regarding memories she and Danny could make together as twins. Thankfully, Will seemed in agreement, as was I. Now we had to tell the rest of the family and make the preparations.
