Peter's pov
(A/N: Running out of ideas, but I wanna contine for as long as possible, pls drop ideas in the comments! Fam and covid kept me away from this story, but things should start to progress)
Mine and Covey's five year anniversary was coming up, and I definitely knew the perfect trip. I was about to bring my Sleeping Beauty closer to my chest to prolong the break of dawn, but our Evie had other plans, managing to run into our room and jump right on top of my stomach, causing me to lose my ability to breathe for a second, quickly followed by a triple set of giggles. Me, my Covey and our Evie. A few minutes later, we were eating breakfast, chocolate sprinkled pancakes. Evie spoke up
"When you two go o your trip, am I staying with Uncle Joe and Aunt Laurie, or with my grandparents? Or Aunt Nicky and Uncle Ricky?"
I chuckled
"She's an early riser and inquisitive first thing in the morning. Definitely a baby Covey, Covey."
Laughing, my Lara Jean shot back
"But when she eats, she's all you."
Fair accusations on both sides. I smiled
"With your Grandpa Dan and Grandma Trina. You're gonna have loads of fun."
My in-laws are some of the best people I know, and they would never miss out on a chance to spoil and spend time with their granddaughter. We dropped Evie off, and LJ soon recognized the roads I was taking for our anniversary trip, our song Beginning, Middle, End blasting from our speakers
"The Ski resort from high school?!"
I nodded, happy with her excited squeal. I knew we were due for a nostalgia dump."
She giggled
" I should've guessed when you said don't pack swimwear, but pack multiple nightgowns..."
I laughed
"I was so sure that would ruin it..."
We soon arrived and hit the hot tub, reenacting that fateful night, then went to bed. The next morning, my wife did not feel so good, and we were so blessed when the pregnancy tests all came back positive. Sadly, that also meant to more hot tub escapades, the heat was not baby-friendly. Oh well, we had other ways to keep busy. And keep busy we did.
