Bea got back from seeing the governor and went to see Kaz if she was okay but she wasn't there "If you're looking for Kaz, she got called to medical because the doctor wanted to see her" Her crew was there waiting for her to come back "Okay, thanks" Then just about to go into her cell and wait for Kaz "Smith! You need to go to medical now" The officer was called out to her? they went there and saw Kaz sitting on the chair waiting for her to come around. Bea knocked and the doctor told her to come in then closed the door after her, Kaz took Bea's hand and it was a little tight "What is going on? Doctor, is she going to be okay"
"A couple of tests came back and the good news is that she doesn't have any cancer, I wanted to do a couple of more pregnancy tests and I want to do another ultrasound with you, Kaz just to make it safe but there are a couple of things that I'm worried about. I'm still waiting on the test to confirm" Kaz had to stop her for a minute and her hand was getting tighter "What are the couple of things that you are worrying about, is it something that we should about" The doctor reinsured to the both of them that there to worry about "It might nothing, I will be waiting for the tests if they everything is fine. Now I'm going get you to do a couple of pregnancy tests and get the ultrasound, okay" Their anxiety is over the roof, and can't settle down for this time. Kaz was scared to look at it and got Bea to look for her when the pregnancy tests were done "Kaz, it's gonna be okay. I promise I'm right here with you" When the time was done the doctor looked at the test and was in shock at what it said to them "What does it say on it?"
"Can you get me the ultrasound machine please, thank you" Bea and Kaz looked at each other and didn't know what was going on and waited a few times for the machine to come around then the doctor checked out her abdomen. They both were looking at the screen to see anything but the doctor saw something that might be a baby in there "There it is, it just didn't come up this morning"
It was a little bean in there and doing well "Congratulations on the pregnancy and do you have any questions for me? I know it's a bit of a shock right now and it's okay to be scared at first" They want some ultrasound pictures and need a moment to be alone with each other. After the doctor left and Kaz got herself cleaned up from the ultrasound then she looked Bea in the eye while she was sitting on the chair "There are so many emotions all at once right now and I don't how to respond or feel about this" It's been a long journey for them to come but knowingly they can this, Bea hold Kaz's hands and just let her talk about it "Bea, I'm getting so scared I don't know what to do" The feeling that she is getting right now is overwhelmed by everything that is going out at this moment "A lot is going right now all at the same time and everything is coming all at once. Everything is going to be okay" Tears were coming down her face "It's okay to feel overwhelmed with going on in the moment right now"
"I'm trying to focus on us and our little family" They kissed a few times then that last one lasted a little longer but almost got caught by the doctor who came in a few seconds after they let go of their kiss "Here are ultrasound pictures and you guys have any questions for me before I let you go?" Kaz has a couple of things that need to be cleaned up "I need to ask you, um. Because I'm older with the baby, how often should we check on it to make it healthy and grow perfectly? Secondly, should I be concerned about any health for not the baby but for me"
The doctor is a little worried right now from the risk that she will face in the pregnancy for right now, she wants Kaz to rest and recover from everything then get her to relax and not worry about it now "There is some risk with weight and miscarriage, stillbirth, and then uh there are other health problems but we will keep an eye on it for right now we'll talk when the rest of come back in a week or so. For today I want you to just get some rest for now. You've been through a lot of what is happening and we will worry about it down the road, okay have a good afternoon" Not long after the ultrasound they went back to the unit to lay down on the bed and Kaz got there first Bea made some tea for her "Hey" She whispers "How are you feeling" Kaz wasn't feeling well in the moment and wants to stay bed for a little bit "I'm about 3 weeks pregnant and I don't feel great, this baby should have a time out for making me feel like this but I don't know for one bit"
"We have a bubba in there, Bea" Then emotions came back, and she started to cry Bea laid down put her hand on her abdomen, and started rubbing it "You're gonna look adorable with a baby bump" They were giggling and Kaz was rolling her eyes at her "No I wouldn't look good a baby bump!" They started laughing and joking around with each other "Yes! You would look amazing with a baby bump, why don't you think that?" One of her reasons is that she is getting older and not getting any younger
"I just don't wanna lose this beautiful soul and am worried about the risk it has with it. This baby means everything and I feel a lot closer to you than ever before" She put her hand on Bea's hand where her abdomen is "We will go it together okay, whatever it takes I'm here for you and our sweet little angel. We love you" They kissed a few times "I love you both so much" Meanwhile Kaz is having a nap in Bea's bed, and the girls are getting some snacks and drinks for tonight's party just because it's Friday they need a little vacation together "Hey! Boomer and Maxine, did you get the few things I asked you to get?" They got everything but upset one then Bea came with a few things, one the chocolate that they were looking for. Some of the snacks that Bea got were for Kaz because she was caving them so much
The games and the snacks were on the table ready to go then they were to party with some music in the background "Hey, Kaz. You finally joined us!" A few of them greeted her while Kaz came out and one of them was Bea who took her hand to bring Kaz over to the party and Maxine got her a mug for her drink "No thank you, Maxine. I'm okay with water but thank you" They were joking around with her "Come on! Kaz have a little drink with us, it's not like you're pregnant or not anything"
Everything went silent from both sides of the room. Kaz smiled and they were happy for them "How far along are you?" Started to get a little quieter and got closer to Bea "Kaz is about 3 weeks, not that far along" They wanted to keep a secret from the prison just for now until they were ready to tell the world "Before I forget I got some snacks that you have been wanting for you and the baby" Her face just lit up when she saw the snacks on the table for her and was excited to eat them "Awww Bea, thank you so much. I love you, you are so sweet" Then started eating one of them "You're welcome, do anything for you and Bubba" The crew couldn't resist just adoring them and loving each other, Bea was taking care of Kaz and the baby. They were shipping them like a teenager all over again but at the same time it's like Bea was taking over as a father figure so fast
It's like she wants to be a part of the responsibility and be there for this little sweet soul and they look a lot happier than ever before. Their love can't be broken apart by anything that faces them in their path, as time went on the party was slowly drying off and everyone was going to bed. Bea and Kaz went to bed first then it was Liz, and finally Boomer and Maxine got to bed not long after they all went to bed and it was a just party they had a great time with each other and they are going to do it more often for the near
