Title: End Of An Era
Author: badly_knitted
Characters: Ianto, Jack, Nosy
Rating: G
Spoilers: Nada.
Summary: Three avid fans watch the last ever final of their Sunday night treat.
Disclaimer: I don't own Torchwood, or the characters.
A/N: My tribute to the end of the last ever series of Dancing on Ice. Sundays will never be the same.
A/N2: I do have one more Library drabble, but the new prompt went up before I could post it, so I'll post that one to my journals in a day or two.

I love Janto: The universe will make sure they get to be together forever =)
He'd love it, provided the Vashta Nerada were dealt with first. It wouldn't be a good idea to go there if they were still there o_O
Thank you! I'd love to reach 500 chapter by the end of the year!

Guest: Yeah, I should think there are a lot of places that prefer it when Jack doesn't show up, lol! Well, Nosy couldn't be registered under its real name ;)
I still think RTD did all the torturing of Jack because he can't kill him. Jack isn't his character, and he's immortal, so he gets punished over and over for it *sigh* Plus, I think RTD sees it as amusing entertainment, since apparently the Jack/Ianto scenes in CoE were the comic relief... I read synopses of the episodes and honestly, there wasn't anything there that sounded worth watching. I'm glad I skipped it.
There's a reason I never had children. I'm not a maternal person =S
One day I'll see it - I hope. JB is a great actor, but he needs the right people to bring out his best performances. Gareth, Burn and Naoko drew some great performances from him in Torchwood.
It was just such a shallow scene. Jack was so broken, giving him some poor bloke to shag wouldn't fix anything. He only has loss to look forward to anyway, you'd think the Doctor of all people would understand that.
Dogs have owners, cats have staff, as the saying goes. They do tend to take charge and insist on having things their way.
Yeah, cracked ribs are not good. I cracked one last year when I caught a cough from my mum. It's so easy to do just through coughing and then still having the cough AND a cracked rib was excruciating. I cracked it late at night, found there were no painkillers in the house and spent a sleepless night in agony, definitely not recommended.
I don't know about that, I guess it's okay if you're in good health, otherwise it just sucks. I'd rather go back to my thirties.
Oh yes, big Terry Pratchett fan, Death is my favourite character, along with the Librarian (of course). Maybe Ianto had been reading Discworld novels before he had his dream, lol! Or maybe the universe was just giving him a hint about his future in a way it thought he would understand...
Yes, there's sunshine! It makes such a nice change from all the rain!

Nosy lay, eyes glued to the television screen, entranced, just as it was every Sunday evening.
"You know this is the last week, don't you?" asked Ianto.
Nosy sighed.
"I know," Ianto agreed, "Sunday nights just won't be the same. It's the end of an era."
"I'll miss all the sequins," said Jack.
"You and sparkly things." Ianto shook his head. "Lines are open, time to vote."
They reached for their phones while Nosy carefully dialled the landline.
"Who'd you vote for?" asked Jack.
"Ray of course."
"Same here."
"Hummm!" (Hayley!)
"Traitor!"
They were going to miss Dancing on Ice.
