Episode 2: Electric Nightmare
A year has past since the first episode and just like Dr. Light had predicated, Dr. Wily and Proto Man had return once a week battling Mega Man on trying to take over the city or scheming to conqueror the whole world while also created his own new army of Robot Masters based on the Dr. Light's original six while some are "borrowed" from other scientists. Each of Wily's Robot Masters that Mega Man fought are tougher and dangerous, but lack of intelligent for some. Meanwhile, The Light Numbers were struggled to gain back the public's trust after the events "The Beginning" but after a year of hard work and proving themselves, they manage to get a second chance from the people of New York. Although, some don't trust them which are only the minorities. Now, in present time, Wily as usual is up to no good as he and his robots are planning to attack the power grid.
Outside of New York City's Power Company:
Two guards were standing out of the Power Company guarding the front entrance when suddenly they were surprised by Bright Man's sudden appearance. Bright Man's appearance is an humanoid robot and has green eyes. He wears a orange helmet with a large light bulb connected on top of it with his yellow face, a round torso with large solar panels around his neck.
"It's Bright Man!" One of Guard yelled.
Bright Man laughed goofily. "Oh that's right, Gentlemen. And I'm here too light up your live!" He then used his Flash Stopper to stunned the Guards to be unconscious, and then dragged them away to hide them behind the bushes.
The Skullker soon arrived as it hovers few meters away from the company. Two of Wily's new personal henchbots drop down from the Skullker to join with Bright Man name Metal Man and Wood Man. Metal Man's design as a humanoid robot of average height with red pupil-less eyeswearing black skin tight suit covered by a red armor with yellow accents. His helmet is red and holds a small round saw blade on the forehead and he has yellow knobs with spikes on the side where his ears are, he also sports a red mask that covers his nose and mouth. His armor is red with blue trim surrounding a yellow circle on the center of his chest plate and also has two round saw blades where his shoulders meet his body. He also sports a red pelvic plate, red gloves and yellow boots. Wood Man's design is a big bulky muscular humanoid who is the same size as Guts Man with blue eyes. He has a gray body, a wooden helmet with a small branch on the right side of it, a wooden armor, wooden tracer, tan hands and wooden boots. Also, he always carries a large leaf-shaped shield made of treated metal and wielded like a tennis racquet.
"Bright Man's taken out the Power Company guards," Proto Man informed Dr. Wily, who is sitting next to Dr. Wily inside Skullker's cockpit.
"Good. Now, I'll be taking out the Power Company." Dr. Wily laughed.
The Skullker swoop down to charge forward to a fire a laser cannon to blast the entrance of the company's door for The Skullker, Metal Man, Wood Man, and Bright Mas to rush inside. Everyone gasped of the intruders and began panicking and even scream as they run for their life. Bright Man used his Flash Stopper to shut people up by knocking them out by the strong flash of light.
"There's the power grid." Proto Man pointed.
"Attach this override relay to the master control computer." Dr. Wily chuckled in glee while handed over the purple device to Proto Man.
Proto Man exited out to ran over to the master computer.
"Yes. So close. Once the device is attach, I can control all of the electricity with a single joystick." Dr. Wily laughed, pulling out his control device that looks like a Atari joystick.
Proto Man reach to the master computer and blast the hatch open with his buster and as soon he began place it in, he got electrocuted from above knocking him down. This got Wily and the other bots surprised and thought to be Mega Man, but no it's Elec Man, who is standing on the catwalk and then drop down in front of the Master Computer. His personality and voice is completely different from the first episode as he's more prideful and can be bossy towards his friends.
"I hate to take the joy out of your joystick, Dr. Wily, but I'm afraid you're not in control yet." Elec Man said, sounding heroic.
"Hmph! Elec Man. I figured you be here." Then Dr. Wily began laughing. "The most powerful Robot Master with enough electricity to cause the entire city into a black out, reducing to work as the company's personal battery. Pathetic."
The rest of Wily's bots began laughing at Elec Man as well.
Elec Man is now getting mad from their insult.
"It's not too late to switch sides, Elec Man. All will be forgiven if you give up this nonsense that fool Dr. Light made you do, and rejoin my army." Dr. Wily offered him.
"And to become your puppet?" I'd rather be scrapped." Elec Man said.
Proto Man recovers from Elec Man's Thunder Beam and stand behind him along the other Wily's bots who are surrounding him.
"That could be arrange." Dr. Wily grins.
World Robot Exposition:
Another year of an annual event at The World Robot Exposition where all the brilliant scientist around the world, who study on robotics, gather here to released their latest invention, machines, and robots that will bring peace or help mankind around the world. Dr. Light is already attended at the expo and already got a huge crowd at his booth as he ready to reveal his latest project to the world while Mega Man, Roll, Rush, Cut Man, and Guts Man watches Dr. Light's booth from behind gathered crowd.
"Ladies and gentleman, I am proud to unveil my latest 9000 series: Domestic Robots," Dr. Light announced to the crowd as he remove the huge sheet that covers the new robots. "First, there's Dolores, the robo-nanny. She feeds and changes diapers in one easy operation." Dolores, a round motherly-looking android wearing a blue cotton hat, demonstrated by gently giving a bottle to a baby doll she was cradling tenderly in her arms cause the crowd to be amazed.
"Then there's Morris, the robo-butler," Dr. Light continued. "He can pick out your clothes and doubles as a chauffeur." Morris was designed to look like an older gentleman similar to like Alfred from Batman comics.
"And finally, there's Doris, the robo-maid. She cooks and cleans, and never complains."
Doris is attractive female android with a short red hair, a small heart-shaped face, and green eyes. "But I don't do windows," She said
"Well, almost never complains," Dr. Light amended with a shrug, concluding his presentation.
The audience applauded of this latest robots while photographers snapping pictures on these latest robots. Cut Man and Guts Man were already fall deeply in love with Doris.
"Hubba! Hubba! I bet she can sweep off my feet." Guts Man grins while looking at Doris.
Cut Man laughed at Guts Man. "As if, big guy. Doris should be going out with me since I'm sharp and cunny."
Guts Man too laugh, but was mocking Cut Man. "Yeah right like she would go out with an bunny bot."
Cut Man take offended by Guts Man's remarked. "Bunny bot?! Who you calling a bunny bot, you big o' lugnut!"
Guts Man gets mad and got close to Cut Man's face. "You better watch your mouth! Or I'll give you a pounding!"
"Not if I give you a nice clip job first." Cut Man joked, but acting seriously.
Cut Man and Guts Man continues arguing with each other over Doris as Mega Man and Roll feeling embarrassed as she facepalmed even Rush gets annoyed by their bickering argument. The two were completely different since the first episode as Cut Man no longer sounded like Peter Lorre and more like Krillin from Dragonball Z, and Guts Man still low intelligence but he's gentle and a hard worker
Roll sighed and turn to his brother. "Remind me again why did we bring Cut Man and Guts Man with us in the expo?" Roll asked Mega Man.
"Because the last time we left Cut Man and Guts Man all alone, they almost destroy Dr. Light's lab." Mega Man explained.
While Dr. Light is doing an interview by one of the reporter, he got an emergency notification on his phone with an status on his Robot Master's condition on energy or health including Mega Man and Roll and to his shock he sees Elec Man's level is on the red.
"Something wrong, dad." Mega Man asked his father when he looks considered.
"It's Elec Man. Something must happen to him in the Power Station." Dr. light feeling worried.
"I'll go check it out." Mega Man turn his robotic K-9. "Come on Rush, let's go!" Rush transformed into Rush's jet for Mega Man to jump on, and took it to the sky leaving the expo.
The Power Company:
He arrived outside of the Power Company as he jump off from Rush approaching the damage the building leaving a giant hole. Mega Man already know who's behind this. Then, he spotted two guards hiding behind the bushes so he rush over to check on them and thankfully their okay but still unconscious. The two quickly rush inside the company hopefully Elec Man is okay, and his shock that Elec Man is badly damaged with two large Metal Blades stab behind his back as he's laying on the floor paralyzed feeling so much pain.
"Pathetic." Proto Man said, looking down on the damage Elec Man. "Although, I do admired that you at least put up a good fight, but you're no Mega Man."
"And you're no brother of mine." Mega Man said as he and Rush jumped in.
"Mega Man!" Proto Man greeted and know he doesn't mean that by saying 'no brother of mine'. He's still holding the electronic device in his hand. "Took you long enough. We were getting bored on bashing your friend."
"Mega Man, what are you doing here? I didn't call you for help." Elec Man groaning.
"Yeah, and I see your doing a great job there." Mega Man joked.
"Destroy him!" Dr. Wily ordered over the loudspeaker of the Skullker.
"Watching you bleed oil is going to be cutting-edge entertainment!" Metal Man shouted, then summon an Metal Blade out of his hand to throw at Mega Man. But Mega Man jump over his blade and then dive kick Metal Man knocking him back. Next, Mega Man tries to blast Wood Man with is Plasma Power but was deflected by Wood Man's Leaf Shield.
"I can do this all day." Wood Man grins, holding his Leaf Shield for protection. Suddenly, he cry out in pain as it like termites are eating him. Wood Man looks down to see Rush biting his leg which is a nice distraction to give Mega Man a chance to blast Wood Man in the chest knocking him back against one of monitors dropping his Leaf Shield. Only one Robot Masters left to face off.
"Smile, Mega twerp, because this will be your last moment on Earth!" Bright Man said, using his Flash Stopper.
That strong blind of light is screwing with Mega Man's eyes causing to overload. He can't even see Bright Man but he has to stop him so he's planning to take this risk by firing blindly. Missed some shots until he finally managed to blast Bright Man which knock him back into one of those generators.
"Don't let him get your Flash Stopper you fool!" Dr. Wily screeched angrily, pounding his fist against the controls.
Mega Man then unscrewed Bright Man's light blub from the top of his head and attach to his arm cannon while dodging Proto Man's blast. "Say cheese!" Mega Man smiled while covering his eyes, and the activate his Flash Stopper by raising his arm in the air blinded Proto Man, Metal Man and Wood Man. Bright Man struggles to recovered and aim his arm cannon to blast Mega Man from behind, but was tackled by Rush knocking him out. "Good boy, Rush." Mega Man smiled, turn to Rush after stunning his enemies. Looks like he used up the Flash Stopper so he remove the light blub from his arm canon and toss it on the ground smashing it.
"You fools!" Dr. Wily called angrily to his robots. "I'll have to attach the override relay myself!" A long robotic arm from the Skullker snatch the device out of Proto Man's hand and ready to attach the device. Mega Man take action by charging his buster to fired a powerful Plasma Shot which damage the Skullker it's so bad that it fired the control and fire popping up filling the entire cockpit with smoke as he coughed. With no other choice, Dr. Wily escape his Skullker from the back in his miniature flying saucer while his Skullker crash on to the ground and exploded. The Saucer maybe small but strong enough to carry Proto Man, Metal Man, Wood Man, and Bright Man as they grab on escaping out of the Power Station and back to Skull Fortress
"I'll be back, Mega Man, and next time you won't be so lucky!" Dr. Wily called threateningly as the Saucer rocketed out of the company.
Mega Man rush over to to help Elec Man up while still holding him. "Come on, I'll get you back to Dr. Light's lab."
Elec Man groans. "Thanks."
Mega Man looks at Elec Man with a playful smile. "You thanking me? The prideful Elec Man is happy that I'm helping you."
"Don't get used too it." Elec Man than change the topic to be more serious. "What the heck was Dr. Wily doing here attacking the Power Grid?" He asked Mega Man.
"That's what I want to find out as well." Mega Man said.
Skull Fortress:
Later that night inside Wily's lab, Dr. Wily fumed angrily at Wood Man, Metal Man, Bright Man, and Proto Man. The Robot Masters hung their heads down in shame except for Proto Man of course who sat cross-legged on a computer terminal with his armed crossed because Wily's scorning doesn't bother him that much since Wily also screw up too but doesn't want to admitted, and he doesn't feel like picking fights with Dr. Wily at this moment. "How dare you let that titanium troublemaker stop me! You're nothing but heaps of useless chips!"
"But—" Wood Man started feebly.
"No buts!" Dr. Wily glared at the three Robot Masters as if daring another one to argue. But his tone change quickly with an evil smirk on his face. "Lucky for you I got contingency plan. Shadow Man!"
Shadow Man drops down out of nowhere scaring the rest of the Robot Masters. Shadow Man's appearance like the rest of them a humanoid robot but design to look exactly like a ninja. He has a black body, red eyes, a blue helmet with a large ninja star on the front top, a blue torso with a white area on the middle, white spherical shoulders, blue hands, a yellow lining between the torso and the legs, white knee pads and white feet. And finally with a bonus feature, wearing a red scarf around his neck that cover his mouth. "Have you success on your task?" Dr. Wily asked Shadow Man.
Shadow Man nodded.
"And no one suspect you were there?"
Shadow Man nodded no.
"Excellent, Shadow Man. You're dismissed." Dr. Wily said with a smirk. Shadow Man nod and leap over to the corner of Wily's lab and disappeared into the shadows. Proto Man rolled his eyes of Shadow Man's over the top performance of his ninja persona due to him watching too many ninja films. Dr. Wily then turn to his Robots. "Thanks to Shadow Man on reprogramming one of Dr. Light's latest new robot before the expo, I know have an official spy doing undercover work in Dr. Light's lab. Soon, Mega Man will be of no more concern to me than a fly on the wall."
Dr. Light's Laboratory:
In bathroom, Mega Man looking at himself at the mirror wishing that he can change back into Rock after defeating Dr. Wily and then change back in case Wily trying to attack the city. But once you're rebuild to be a Super Fighting Robot, there's no goin go back. Also, he's the only one here in the bathroom as we see Morris at his side.
"Anything else, sir?" Morris asked in a drawling voice as Mega Man grab some soap from Morris.
"No that will be all, Morris, and thank you. I just need to clean up after a dirty battle with Dr. Wily." Mega Man replied. Morris left him alone in the bathroom door. Mega Man turn on the water in the sink to wash his face.
A moment later, a figure appeared to lock the bathroom door be wedging a steel bar on to the door and then used a blow torch to melt the bar to attach it and then create a small hole on the door to slip through a tube which poured a dark murky green on to the floor and then disappeared.
"I'm a clean mean mega machine." Mega Man said, finishing drying his face. Just as soon he turn and to his surprised..."Acid!" Mega Man reached across for the doorknob, but the door wouldn't budge. "It's lock from the other side." He fired at the lock, but the blast bounced off but he dodged it as the blast it the wall. "And Dr. Light reinforced the lab with super steel to keep Dr. Wily out, but now it's keeping me in!" His titanium skin does protect him for now, but staying in her for too long will eat through it if he doesn't get out of here. "If I don't get out of here fast, this acid will eat right through my titanium skin. Hey, in here! Dr. Light!" he shouted as the acid level began to rise, sloshing around the tub.
Over at Dr. Light and unware of Mega Man calling for help, he's in his lab busy fixing up the deactivate Elec Man after fight at the Power Company, and noticed his working lamp starting flickering until it shut off. This confused Dr. Light because he just replace the blub last night. Suddenly, the light came back one and Dr. Light continuing repairing Elec Man.
Power Company:
Proto Man, Dr. Wily, and this time with Pharaoh Man (design of a muscular humanoid robot based on an Egyptian pharaoh. He has red eyes, a helmet that resembles Tutankhamum, a white mouth cover, green armor, white pauldron and his lower legs yellow, his left arm has a white brace and a white hand, a buster on his left arm, and lastly wearing a red cap.) returned to the Power Company in the Skullker, using the same hole that Dr. Wily had blasted through the front gate earlier that day.
Proto Man already tied up the guards.
Pharaoh Man used his Pharaoh Shot to blasted a hole through the power grid's case. Then, Proto Man grabbed hold of all the cables from the inside to hold them together to attach with the override relay.
"At last! Now I control everything connected to the power grid!" Dr. Wily crowed from the Skullker while holding his joystick.
Dr. Wily peered over the dashboard. They had missed a security guard who had been hiding underneath a desk. The guard grab the phone to make an emergency phone call.
"We're under attack by Dr. Wily. Send in the army!" The security guard's voice crackled through the Skullker's speakers.
"I think you've called the wrong number!" Dr. Wily replied back through the Skullker's loudspeaker.
Proto Man grabbed and gagged the third security guard to the desk chair using the phone cord.
"With everything under my control, and Mega Man out of the way, the world is mine!" Dr. Wily laughed gleefully.
Dr. Light's Laboratory:
The entire bathroom is now filled with acid. Mega Man's armor started to take effect. "I've only gotten a few seconds left..."
Outside of the bathroom, Cut Man and Guts Man are still arguing about Doris as they walk down the hall. The two then stop when they strangely see steel bar wedged to the door. "That's weird." Cut Man said, who is confused.
"Yeah. Why would anyone would bar the outside of the bathroom door?" Guts Man questioned.
The two dumb bots think for sec until they realized that there's someone inside and in serious trouble. Cut Man uses his Rolling Cutter to slice the bar off with no luck. "I can't cut it through. This bar is made out of the same material as my Rolling Cutter." Cut Man said.
"Stand back!" Guts Man said. He used his Super Arm to grab both side of the door, and ripped from its hinges. He also noticed acid coming so he grab Cut Man to move out of away just in time as wave of acid rush out.
Mega Man relief that he was saved by his friends. "Good timing, guys. Another second and I would've been mega mush." He coughed.
Dr. Light and Roll heard the commotion of a loud door being ripped open and came running to find Mega Man sprawled out on the floor in a puddle of acid while Cut Man and Guts Man dumped a bucket of water on him to watch away the acid that was all over him. "Mega Man, what happened?"
"Someone tried to dissolve me," Mega Man replied flatly.
"Ain't the first time." Cut Man said. "Which one of Wily's bots trying to kill you this time?"
"I don't think so. If it was Dr. Wily or any of his robots, the alarm would have picked up by their present." Dr. light think for a sec and quickly figure it out ."It seems to me that we've got a spy in the lab," Dr. Light whispered.
"Oh, swell! But who?" Roll whispered back.
"Whoever it is? I'll clobber that traitor!" Guts Man shouted.
Mega Man and the others tell Guts Man to lower his voice which Guts Man apologized. They don't want the spy to hear them that they're fully aware of the spy's motive.
"Can we be of any further assistance, sir?" Morris interrupted. He had just turned up along with Doris and Dolores.
"Yes," Dr. Light said, turning towards his creations. "Please clean up this mess."
"Right away, sir," Doris said obediently, grabbing a mop from the closet.
Mega Man narrowed his suspicious onto Morris suspiciously. When he was Rock, he had watch old mystery shows which always revealed to be the Butler, who is is the murder. "I've got a sneaking suspicion the butler did it," he confided quietly to Dr. Light so Morris wouldn't overhear.
"Would you like a hand?" Cut Man asked Doris kindly.
Guts Man shove Cut Man away. "Or about both hands." Guts Man said, showing off his arms
"You two can help by staying out of my way while I clean up Mega Man's mess." Doris smiled in anger, while mopping the floor.
Cut Man and Guts Man both said excitingly. "Sure. We could do that."
Roll groans. "Ugh! You boys are unbelievable.
Suddenly, a distant beeping noise was activate. "Something is coming in over the emergency satellite scanner," Dr. Light announced. Everybody rush into the laboratory as Dr. Light to flipped on the console.
"Dr. Light, this is Captain Evans of Central Station," buzzed a voice through the speakers. Footage caught by security camera showing traffic light blink out of control even color switch causing a lot of car accidents, subways and monorails raced in full speed nonstop, open drawbridge remain close as the tanker crash through the bridge causing it sink, "The city is being overrun by everything that isn't nailed down. M-my police force can't stop it! We need Mega Man's help! Now!" The message was abruptly.
"Of course! Now, I understand! Dr. Wily is using electricity to control everything in the city" Dr. Light exclaimed.
"So that's what he was doing at the power plant." Mega Man said, realizing Wily's plan.
Dr. Light walked over to his computer to begin tapping at his computer. "I must figure out some way to stop it."
"We should hurry and unplug everything in the lab."
"Oh, not worry, Cut Man. Wily can't control my electronics because my entire lab is powered by my own personal generator."
"Sharp thinking, Doc." Cut Man joked.
"But what about the spy?" Roll asked
"We'll have to worry about that later. In the meantime, We're going to help those innocent people. Come on, Rush!" Mega Man glanced around, and see no sign of Rush. "Rush?"
Rush follow a trial of energy biscuits as he eats not realizing it he's being lured into a trap by the spy. The spy soon to be reveal to be Doris, who was reprogrammed by Shadow Man by the orders of Dr. Wily to undercover and assassinate Mega Man and Dr. Light.
"Nice doggy." She grabbed Rush by the snout, jerking his head downwards. Rush whimpered as he tries fighting back but not strong enough when she open up his helmet to place a giant circuit card inside of his head. He pulled away from her grip and began scratching vigorously at his head, growling.
"That's right doggy, it's just a flea," Doris laughed.
"There you are!" Mega Man said, finding his dog after search through out the lab. "I've been looking all over for you, we've got work to do!"
Rush stopped scratching, his ears flattening. Then, he quickly transformed into Rush Jet. "Let's burn pod!" Both took off through the sliding glass door.
Doris watched through a crack in the blinds with an evil smile on her face. "So long, Mega Man."
New York City:
Mega Man look down on the chaos. It's true horror scene. The best they could is to save as much people they could find. "We'll be there any second, Rush."
Rush gave a wheezing cough, and his jet backfired. Then, suddenly plummeted five feet. "Hey, what's gotten into you—"
Mega Man was cut off as they plummeted again towards the parking lot and then fly sky rocket forward passing by all the vehicles. "Rush, slow down!" They were dropping lower and lower, barely skimming the roofs of the car, a blinking traffic light which bang on Mega Man's head which he was almost knocked away from Rush. The fly all the way to an alleyway towards those garbage cans and smash into them. "What was that all about?" Mega Man asked, rubbing his head.
Then, out of nowhere both Metal Man and Wood Man appeared looming over Mega Man. It's like they were waiting for Mega Man to be in this location or have been keeping track when his mutt while flying out of control and then follow them here or just a coincidence. Either way, they're happy to get a chance to destroy Mega Man.
"It's about us taking care of you!" Metal Man said, pointing at Mega Man.
"All right you metal meddler, get ready ta join the junk heap!" Wood Man roared, winding up a punch. Mega Man quickly hastily scooted out of the way as Wood Man's punches came rocketing toward him. He's just as strong as Guts Man but nowhere close to Gut Man's Super Arm. Mega Man equipped his buster and instead of shooting at Wood Man since he'll try block it with his Leaf Shield, he fired on the 'Eat it" sign which was above Wood Man and crash on to him as he falls to the ground.
Metal Man jumps in with his Metal Blades. "Nothing cuts deeper than the thrill of watching you fall apart...piece by piece." Metal Man delightfully said, having sick pleasure in his mind. He throws two of Metal Blades towards Mega Man only be to missed him when he dodged them as they saw off the car in three.
Mega Man doesn't have time to fight these so he and Rush makes run for it almost out of the alley. "There's no time to play with these clowns, we've got a city to save. Let's go Rush!" he called.
He leaped on to Rush's back. They climbed into the air, leaving the alleyway behind them, but then suddenly they flew back crashing on the sidewalks outside of the same alleyway.
Mega Man turn to Rush, and he's not too happy. "What'd you do that for?" Mega Man asked angrily.
"Because he's an obedient 'mutt, ain't that right flea brain?" Wood Man laughed, roughly patting Rush on the head.
Rush's sadly barked with this tongue still feeling pain.
"I'm going to cut your life short, blue boy!" Metal Man jeered from behind, equipped his arm into a Buzzsaw.
"And I'm gonna trample you," Wood Man boomed, stomping on the ground with his foot super hard causing a small shake.
"Don't I get a say in this?" Mega Man asked.
"Sure, what'll it be—quick and clean?" Metal Man asked, playing with his buzzsaw which is not activated.
"—Or slow and messy?" Wood Man asked too, cracking his fists.
"How about both at the same time?" Mega Man suggested.
Mega Man quickly got back on his feet to reach an empty trash to grab and shove Metal Man inside, then quickly grab a trash lid to smash into to Wood Man's face. Wood Man and Metal Man bump into each other. "Hey!" he bellowed, punching Metal Man's head.
"You—" Metal Man started angrily, kicking Wood Man's left leg.
"I couldn't have done it better myself." Mega Man smiled, as he ran off while the two busy beating each together. "What's wrong fella?" Mega Man asked, crouching next to Rush. He gently removed Rush's helmet, to check around what's wrong until he found something that doesn't belong as he remove it. "This circuit card was controlling you, and my hunch is whoever did this is the one who gave me an acid bath." He said, narrowing his eyes. He then heard a loud scream coming from a nearby store called Gizmo City. "Unfortunately there is no time to worry about that now. C'mon!"
Gizmo City Store:
The terrifying crowd escaping out of the store feeling from their life. In inside the store, there still people running away from plugged in exercise equipment trying to get them like savage dogs tied in their backyards, blenders to refrigerators jumping and dancing up and down on their shelves like crazy, flatscreen and regular t.v. are on switching random channels super fast from the news to cartoons. One of the store owner gets chase by automatic wireless scooter
Dr. Wily pops up onto the screen in one of the big t.v. just to laughed as he enjoy this massive hysteria while listening the scream come out of the fool's mouth.
Mega Man already heard Dr. Wily's laugh as he and Rush burst through the front entrance to Gizmo City. "Whatever you're up to, Wily! Dr. Light and I are going to stop it! Mega Man angrily tells Wily.
Dr. Wily is surprised that Mega Man is still alive. "Mega Man?! I thought my spy took care of you!"
"Sorry to disappoint you."
Dr. Wily snickered. "Oh you didn't. I'd much rather destroy you myself."
Mega Man hears loud noises as it like it's getting closer to him so quickly turn to his back to see every electronics in the store that are plugged coming forward to attack Mega Man and Rush all at once. "This isn't going to be easy." Mega Man said.
Rush nodded feeling nervous.
Dr. Light's Laboratory:
Elec Man woken up from his bed fully repaired and fully charged. it was truly embarrassing of how quickly he was defeated by Proto Man and his pals. Maybe Dr. Wily is right if he had sided with him, he could a be a powerful bot without holding back. Then again, he'll be nothing more than a mindless Wily goon for the rest of his life. His thought was interrupted when he noticed Doris holding a knife heading towards the direction where Dr. Light is.
"What she's planning to-," Elec Man quickly figure it out. "Oh no."
Gizmo City Store:
Cut Man and Guts Man both riding their own transport item given by Dr. Light for their own transportation labeled 'Item-2'. They already know that Mega Man and Rush are already in trouble, so they arrived for backup as they pick up Mega Man's homing signal coming from Gizmo City and hopefully Doris is watching through Dr. Light's satellite scanner to see them in action and too see if she'll go out with them as they continued fighting for her. Roll arrived with her skycycle to few meters away from then as she see these dumb bots fighting over Doris again so she had enough and yelled telling them to 'shut up'.
The two turn and are surprised to see Roll here. Did she follow them?
"Miss Roll, what you doing here? It's dangerous to be here."
"Stuff it, Cut Man. My brother and Rush are in trouble and I'm not going to sit around and watch. Now, come on." Roll said, taking charge.
The three ran through the automatic door to get inside of the electronic store.
"Good thing we got here in time. Let's split up and hopefully one of us are lucky to find them." Roll said.
"Be careful, Miss Roll." Cut Man said.
Roll went left while Cut Man and Guts Man goes right. Strange everything is all quiet as she walks down the cosmetic department. "Mega, where are you?" she called. She then get a sudden surprised from Dr. Wily who pops up into another tv screen.
"Welcome to the cosmetic department, Roll."
Suddenly, a cosmetic clerk female android took Roll by surprised by pushing her to the chair and bar strapped around her body.
"Hey! Let me go!" Roll said angrily as she tris to break free from her strapped.
"Not before I give you the.....beauty treatment." Dr. Wily laughed, while playing with his joystick control
The cosmetic clerk equipped her beauty kit out of her chest as she gets close to Roll to work on her face.
"Get those things out of my face!" Roll yelled trying to move her face away from her.
Meanwhile, Cut Man and Guts Man are also in a pickle as they're fighting off a swarm of haywire electronics that are attacking the duo. Guts Man throws punches and smashes tv and computers while Cut Man fired his mini Rolling Cutters out of his buster to slice and cut off more tv's including fans.
"Haha! If Doris was here, she be amazing of my Super Arm strength!" Guts Man laughed while punching more stuff.
"Get real, Guts Man. She'll be thinking about me after making paper dolls out of these things." Cut Man smirked, still firing his buster.
The two once again get into a fight while the electronics getting closer towards them.
Back with Mega Man, the store manager was calling for help as the vending machine shoot out soda cans at the Store Manager who is doing his best dodge them. Mega Man and Rush had already defeated most of the electronics rush to the Store Manager to save him.
"Soda machine's out of order, huh?" Mega Man quipped, smashing a foot through the machine destroying it. "That fixes it."
"Th-thank you, Mega Man!" he cried in deep gratitude ,and then ran off to the exit.
Mega Man then spotted Cut Man and Guts Man fighting off the electronics but they were too many too stop as they were getting dog pilled while still trying to fight back. Mega Man and Rush dash to their rescues and then equipped his buster to fired plasma power easily destroying a lot machines and equipment that buried the two, then help them up back on their feet.
"You got here just in time, Mega." Cut man said, thanking him.
"Glad you guys are you okay. Now, let's-"
They heard a scream. The scream sounds like Roll and she's in trouble. They head over to the cosmetic department where Roll's scream is at only to find Roll getting her face made by the android. The clerk turn to see that she has more customers to give and also revealing Roll's make up to look like a clown resulting Cut Man and Guts Man to burst out laughing at Roll of how ridiculous she looks but soon stop feeling terrified by Roll's death glare as she grinds her teeth.
"Let her go!" Mega Man shouted.
The cosmetic clerk charge at Mega Man to attack but Mega Man quickly flip over her while Cut Man and Guts Man step out of the way, then turn as she glare at Mega Man. Mega Man try to think of the something without harming her so he grab a bottle of lotion to throw it which cosmetic clerk slice it with her razor sharp nails only to get splatted all over her face and eyes as cried out it pain.
Mega Man rush to his sister to remove the straps around her freeing her. "I'll handle her," He said to Roll.
Roll roughly pushed Mega Man aside. "No, she's mine!" She drew a sharp rotary blade from her utility arm. The cosmetic clerk transformed bot her arms into an electric hair trimmer and hair dryer. They fight like savage beast which terrified and horrified Mega Man, Cut Man, and Guts Man as they'll remind to themselves on not making her mad. Roll had already taken victory after disembowel her through the waist.
"Feeling kind of low? You could used a face lift!" Roll angrily said, equipped her arm to an vacuum to strip the clerk's face off from her head, revealing her ex-skeleton skull, and then drop down no longer move or active.
Cut Man look to Roll still feeling sick of her brutal attack on this clerk bot. "Geez. Overkill much, Miss Roll?"
"Hmph! She had it coming for trying putting that crud on my face." Roll said, changing her arm back.
Mega Man clears his throat trying to get back in topic. "Well, looks like Gizmo City is secure. But there still more people that needs rescuing. Cut Man and Guts Man, you two try save as much people you can from anything electricity. No screw ups." He said, pointed the two.
"Got it." Cut Man said giving a thumbs up.
"Right." Guts Man said slamming both of his fist together.
"The rest of us will be heading back to Dr. Light's lab for update. I just hope Dr. Light already find the solution to all this before things gets even more worst."
New York's state capitol:
Dr. Wily, Metal Man, Wood Man, Bright Man, and Pharaoh Man already take control of the New York State Capital and even kidnapped both the Governor (who is an old man) and the camera crew to forced to broadcast live on t.v. for Governor to forcedly say in defeat.
"And so, I'm stepping down as your governor and turning the state over to Dr. Wily," Governor Parson finished.
Dr. Wily, whos still caring his joystick control, had shoved Governor Parson from his chair, placing himself upon it as if it were a throne declaring ruler of New York. "And as my first official act of business, I'm placing my trusted friends in all key positions," Dr. Wily announced in a pleasant voice. "You can relax now, you're all in good hands." Dr. Wily laughed manically
Proto Man and The Robot Masters (expect for Pharaoh Man) laughed manically as well.
Dr. Light's Laboratory:
Dr. Light watched the news broadcast from New York State Capital feeling frustrated and disgusted of Wily running politics. And Light knows that Wily hated politics. "Got to stop that maniac, before he can do any more harm." He welded a steel casing around the security circuit he had finished constructing. "Ah there, this should do the trick—
A dark silhouette resembles Doris is right behind Dr. Light still wielding a knife, raising the knife up in the air to strike Dr. Light.
"Dr. Light, look out!" Elec Man shouted, fired his Thunder Beam out of hands hitting Doris. Dr. Light gasped that he never realized that their is someone behind trying to kill him especially the reveal of the spy to be Doris. Doris ripped her maid outfit revealing a pair of ammunition belts over her silicone frame, a dustbin that she was holding change into laser rifle as she starts blasting Elec Man. Elec Man dodge every blast while also fired his Thunder Beam but Doris also dodged them as well While having a blast fight, Doris found her knife and quickly throws straight ahead to Elec Man but he ducked but then was blasted by Doris's rifle as he crash onto Dr. Light's computer. It was a distraction for Elec Man to focused on the knife while she has time to fired on him with a single shot.
"Hasta la vista, Sparky," Doris smirked, cocked her rifle
Suddenly, Roll kicked a pail of mob water it towards Doris, dumping it all over gagged and almost chocked by the water. And finally, she got blown apart by Mega Man's plasma power with one shot as her remains drop the floor repeating "la vista, Sparky.' as it slowing down until she's offline.
Elec Man growled that Mega Man steals his victory again shattered his pride again.
"Are you guys alright?" Mega Man asked.
Dr. light calm himself down. "Yes and thank you, my children. Especially you, Elec Man. You have my gratitude."
Elec Man tries not smiled as he nodded. Although, he didn't stop Doris himself but at least he get some appreciation.
"I can't believe it was Doris who was the spy." Mega Man murmured. "It's usually the butler always committed the murder."
"Not everything is a movie, Rock." Roll said.
Dr. Light pick up a finished device that looks like box of cigarettes which is weird. "Mega Man, If you can attach this device to the power grid, we can shut down Dr. Wily's control circuits. It's our only chance. You've got to get through."
"I'll do my best." Mega Man said, holding the device. "Elec Man, you don't mind if I borrow your weapon, do you?"
Elec Man sighed and show his arm to Mega Man. "Yeah go ahead. But don't make a habit on copying my power all the time."
Mega Man gently hold his arm as he copied Elec Man's Thunder Beam into his buster. "Thanks. This will come in handy." He said. and then ran out of the lab on foot.
New York City:
Chaos continued in New York with more technology gone out of whack like electric powered vehicles speeding crashing into other vehicles, people getting stuck in elevators, more subways going out of control, people trapped in automatics booth. Cut Man and Guts Man are doing their best on saving people like freeing everyone who is trapped in the building or disabled some rescue bots who are under control of Wily but it's too much for the two, but can't give up as Mega Man count on them and maybe Doris will fall over one of them. But what's even worst is that one of Wily's robot name Wood Man is speaking over the speakers around the city to message citizens in New York during this mayhem.
"Do not be alarm! Governor Wily is now controlling the entire city! You will all be given further instruction by the Governor's robot officers! On second thought, I guess you should be alarm!" Wood Man laughed, through the speakers.
Meanwhile with Mega Man, sneaking around the city trying to get to the Power Plant. The reason why he doesn't used Rush so they could simply fly over the grid is because now Wily has eyes everywhere through out city is dangerous to fly openly where the enemies will be alerted after spotted and then open fired on them. Unfortunately, this stealth tactic fail because he wasn't aware of an hidden security made by Dr. Wily, who is watching through his monitor, already aware that he's heading over to the Power Company.
"That blue dweeb thinks he can sneak past me, does he?" Wily whispered to himself as he chuckles. "Well, I've got a surprise for him!" He grab hold of the loudspeaker microphone to speak through it. "Attention all police robo-units. Mega Man is heading east on Jupiter Street. Intercept and destroy."
Police Cars on pursuit for Mega Man as they made a u turn to drive ahead.
Mega Man looked ahead to continuing sneak building to building until was suddenly blinded by headlights from the police robo-units's car. The robo-units getting out of their police cars and began firing on Mega Man. "Blast that Wily for taking over the police units. I can't used my Thunder Beam on these guys or any of my weapons as I always respect the law, but I can't stay here forever." Mega Man said to himself, who is taking cover behind the truck. Then a miracle happen when a Rolling Cutter was fired slicing off the Robo-Units's laser guns saving Mega Man.
"We'll keep them distracted! Head to the Power Plant!" Cut Man shouted, got his Rolling Cutter back.
"Thanks guys!" Mega Man said giving a thumbs up, getting out of hiding to run to the Power Plant.
The Robo-Units was about to chase after Mega Man, but they were stop by Guts Man who jumps in to block their path.
"You want Mega Man? You have to get through us." Guts Man said, cracking his knuckles.
Power Company:
It was a long run, but he made to the Power Plant. Still has the big hole at the entrance since this morning and no sign of the guards. Just as soon he's about to enter the place, he was stop by Proto Man who jumps down from the roof blocking his way surprising Mega Man. Proto Man is also fully aware that he was heading to the Power Grind so head over the Power Plant waited for his brother for his arrival.
"Not so fast, little brother!"
"If you're really my 'brother,' Proto Man, you'll do the right thing and let me stop Dr. Wily's crazy scheme."
Proto Man smiled. "It wouldn't seem so crazy if you'd join us, bro." He said offering his brother.
"Not a chance." Mega Man angrily responded.
"Have it your way." Proto Man drew a blaster and fired. Mega Man flew backward through the basket-lift crane which is parked in the Power Company's parking lot.
"Wow! That really stings my circuits!" Mega Man doesn't have time to fight Proto Man so he's going to make this quick by using Thunder Beam. "This outta fix Proto Man." Mega Man rub his hands together to super charged his Thunder Beam blasted out of his hands on to Proto Man paralyzing him as he drops to the ground. "That's for Elec Man." Mega Man said reminded his brother from this morning. Looks like used up all of his Thunder Beam on Proto Man but at least the fight with him is over. He step over him to finally rush inside to the grid, open the hatch and placing the security device into it. "This better work." Mega Man said, hopefully Dr. Light's invention success.
Surprisingly, it work. Every electronics in the city stop moving like crazy to go back functionally normal, automatic vehicles are now slowing down, subways stop at the next station for people to get out, elevators are working properly again, people can get out of phone booths and and buildings now the automatic doors are now working, and the Robo-Units stop firing on Cut Man and Guts Man as they're back to normal feeling confused. Cut Man and Guts Man smiled and gave each other high-five knowing Mega Man just save the day again.
New York State Capital:
Dr. Wily still sitting in his governor throne watches through the tv monitor to see every electricity in the city going back to normal, he tries furiously moving the joystick control and even press the button but nothing is work. "What's happening? I'm losing control!" Dr. Wily shouted angrily.
"You mean you've lost control!" Mega Man said burst open through the door.
Dr. Wily snarled. "Why you overgrown circuit breaker," He said pounding his fist on the table. His spy bot fail to kill Mega Man and Dr. Light, his robots including Proto Man fail to stop him, the entire Robo-Units fail to stop him, and now he can't control the city's electricity anymore. In a desperate attack, he calls out the big guns. "Pharaoh Man!"
Pharaoh Man burst open the double doors when Wily call his name.
"Destroy Mega Man!"
"So you command, so it shall be done," Pharaoh Man replied in a deep smooth voice. Pharaoh Man drew his arm canon and fired a strong heat laser at Mega Man's chest, its so powerful that it knocked him backward crashing through a paned window from the ledge of a balcony, and onto the grass outside. Mega Man forgets how powerful that Pharaoh Shot is as he recovers from that blast before Pharaoh Man leaps down in front him inches away. "Now, to finish you off." He said blasting again, but missed leaving a huge smoke giving Mega Man a chance to hid into fountain without him noticing it.
Mega Man never expected to fight Pharaoh Man again. He is one of Wily's most powerful Robot Masters in his entire army along with Napalm Man and the only time Mega Man got lucky on beating him was using Bright Man's Flash Stopper to scramble Pharaoh Man's circuits due to his sensitive eyes, and that could have been handy right now if he hadn't used it all up during his fight at the Power Plant this morning. So he'll have to improvise. Just as soon Pharaoh Man got close to fountain, Mega Man jumps out of the water to surprised Pharaoh Man to touch his arm cannon copying his Pharaoh Shot.
"Now I've got your power!" Mega Man smirked.
Pharaoh Man throws a punch to Mega Man's face. He stumbled backward onto the grass. Next, Pharaoh Man ripped a chunk from the fountain's masonry to plan on bash Mega Man to death with this thing. Mega Man recover from that punch to flip himself over in front to equipped his buster informing Pharaoh Man that he already won the battle with his Pharaoh Shot. "You're out of your league, Pharaoh Man!" Mega Man aimed his buster and fires a powerful Pharaoh Shot blast at point range.
The Blast impact on Pharaoh Man's chest launching him up to the nightly sky and disappeared.
"Going! Gone!" Mega Man quipped, looking up in the sky losing sight of Pharaoh Man. He then sees the Skullker leaving the State Capital not before Dr. Wily vow his revenge against him once again.
"You haven't seen the last of me, Mega Man!" He yelled tauntingly through the window as they rode past. "I'll be back!" The Skullker take off into the night retreated to Skull Fortress.
"And I'll be waiting," Mega Man smiled to himself with both his hands on his waist.
Dr. Light's Laboratory:
Roll, Mega Man, Rush, Cut Man, Guts Man, Elec Man, and Dr. Light were gathered back in the laboratory after a long night fighting Wily and the out of control electronics.
"Looks like Dr. Wily won't be bothering us for a while," Mega Man said.
"But what if he tries to get control of the power grid again?" Roll asked.
Dr. Light smiled. "He can't. The device I made had a security circuit built into it." Dr. Light smiled, winked and giving a thumbs up.
"Now that Dr. Wily's taken care of, what about his robot spy Doris?" Mega Man asked.
"Oh, don't worry about her. Dr. Light had rebuild her and then reprogramed her back to normal with a protection firewall into her just like he did with Cut Man and the others. She's now deactivated right now." Roll replied.
"That's a relief." Mega Man said. He knows that it wasn't Doris fault as it's just once again been reprogrammed by Dr. Wily to be his slave.
"Oh good! Maybe when she wake up, I can show her the footage of me slicing and dicing on to those electronics." Cut Man smiled.
Guts Man scoffs. "Oh please. She'll see me clobber those tin cans without breaking a sweat."
"Robots don't sweat, dummy."
"Hey, who you calling dummy?!"
Cut Man and Guts Man began arguing again. The gang are just to tired of their nonsense as they walk out of the lab to get some sleep while Cut Man and Guts Man continued throwing insult to each other.
Coney Island Beach:
At around 5:00 am, that Pharaoh Shot was so powerful it lead Pharaoh Man all the way to the beach coast. The blast really damage Pharaoh Man with his body sizzling and smoking. Seems like that Dr. Wily still hasn't pick him up yet or forgets about him. But then something goes on with Pharaoh Man as he's remembering something in the past showing a glance of him holding hands with a blonde girl. He began slowly getting back on his feet to look around confused not sure what he's doing in America where he should be back in Russia.
"I must return home." Pharaoh Man said to himself, now speaking with a Russian accent.
Pharaoh Man tries contacting home, but no respond. It won't do any good of how heavily damage he was. With no other choice, he starts walking head to the direction where Russia is with no transportation or anything to get Russia faster. Just an extremely long walk to get there with no stops.
Next Time: In "Mega-Pinocchio", After saving an interesting scientist named Dr. Petto, Mega Man gets offered the chance to be transformed into a real human. While it's a very far-fetched idea, Mega Man is compelled by it and takes Dr. Petto up on the offer. Little does Mega know that "Dr. Petto" was really a robot created by Dr. Wily. Wily implants a mind control chip in Mega Man's head and uses him to do his dirty work. And there's nothing Mega Man can do to resist his orders.
