CHAPTER 2
Sabo let out a long sighed. He looks at all the paperwork he needs to finish today. As the second executive member of the Revolutionary Army Empire, he bound with a job to recruit anyone that he deems reliable to fit in the company. They are after all the famous and top security company in Raftel City. Most of their recruit gaining a job at many companies and also the big famous empire companies but one, The Strawhat Empire.
Sabo working directly under the CEO/President of the Revolutionary Army, Monkey D Dragon and the vice-president, Ivankov. He known to other as Chief of Staff and he's rank is equal to the Second Commander of Whitebeard Empire. Sabo stretching himself and standing up. He walks toward the glass window with an ocean view clearly in front of him. His office situated at the 15th floor and viewing toward the dock full of ship and not far from the Strawhat Empire building.
Flashback
Sabo run away from his home, but his father bodyguards are hot on his trail. He never wants to be living as a noble and marry someone he isn't know. But his parent already appointed him to be marry a royal blood. As he walks down the town, his father found him and command the bodyguard to capture him. He run as fast as he can but fail as the bodyguard manage to surround him and capture him. They drag him toward his father, Outlook III. Outlook smirk to see as his son defeated and order his men to put him in the car after he force him wearing the expensive outercoat. Sabo been sandwich between two of the bodyguard at the back seat while the other two in the front. His father ride on the other car and follow from behind.
Sabo feel defeated and frustrated. After a week avoiding and running away, he feels free for the first time in his life. But the freedom not last as he been capture and been drag back to his noble life. Feeling so much frustrated, he decides to take action and gone rampage in the car making the car drove out to the opposite land in high speed. The car then collides with another car and flip over for a few time end up in the middle of the road. He manages to thrown out from the car and run toward the other car near the bushes.
Sabo saw a boy in his age run toward the bushes. As he approached to the car, the man in the car regained conscious.
"Boy, save my wife… please…" Roger said. He then unbuckled his seatbelt and try to pull his wife toward him. Sabo take out his outercoat that his father put on to him with force and throw it on the ground. He then helps Roger to pull Rouge out from the car.
Sabo manage to pull Rouge outside the car and drag her to far away toward other bushes nearby. He then run back to Roger and try to pull the man out. Oil dripping from the engine making Roger push him and the car explode. Sabo left face caught in the explosion and he scream out. He crawls toward Rouge and drag her away far from the explosion. He drags her until reach toward bushes near the bridge facing toward the ocean.
"Ma'am, wake up. Please…" Sabo shaking her body. A phone drops out from Rouge pocket coat. It is vibrating indicate someone calling. 'Shakky' name appear on the screen. Sabo decided to take the phone.
"Hello?" He said.
"Who are you? Why you have Rouge's phone?" Shakky asked.
"I… please help! This woman… badly injured. Their car collided with mine. Please!" Sabo said frantically.
"Where is her husband?" Shakky asked again.
"I cannot save him. The car exploded before… before I…" Sabo sobbing heavily making Shakky tried to comfort him.
"Listen boy, I need you on the GPS at this phone and make sure don't answered any call beside mine. I on my way to get both of you." Shakky instructed him while Sabo replied with ok.
"Who are you?" Rouge said after regaining conscious.
"Ma'am… I'm sorry. I get both of you into this accident. I killed him. I'm so sorry…" Sabo cried. Rouge touched his cheeks after he told her the incident.
"No… don't. you try to save him, and you just follow his order. You just save me. I cannot thank you enough for what you have done. I'm sorry for dragging you into our problem too." Rouge said and widened her eyes when she saw his left face injury.
Suddenly, they heard a sound from nearby making both of them alert. I seem that Outlook's men tried to find Sabo. Sabo afraid if he captures, Rouge will be killed. He instantly text to Shakky and telling her that he hides Rouge body with leaves and fallen branches.
"Ma'am, you are so kind. I really hope I have a mother like you. They going to found me. I don't want them kill you too. Stay here, your friend Shakky is coming. I will lure them far from here. Please live. I hope we meet again. Bye, ma'am." Sabo said and run toward the bridge while the men chasing him from behind.
Sabo run and run until he reaches the bridge. The men following him stop when they see Sabo already standing on the bridge rail.
"Young master, please don't do this." One of the men said.
"I don't want to go back there even if it means I end my life here. From now on, Outlook Sabo is dead." With determination, Sabo jump into the ocean.
Few days later…
"You awake, my boy?" A guy with tattoo on his face said.
"Where am I? Who are you?" Sabo said as he looked his surrounding with curious.
"You're at my house in Baltigo City. It seems that the ocean current drags you here. We found you not far from my house with injuries. Your lucky the injuries not too severe or we might lose you there." The guy explained.
"Thank you for saving me, mister…" Sabo bowed down to thank him.
"Dragon. My name is Dragon. You are?" Dragon replied and waiting for Sabo to answered.
"Outlook III Sabo, a noble from Raftel City." A big guy with purple afro hair come in making Sabo widen his eyes with shock and fear.
"They just put your picture in the news." He added.
"I'm just Sabo. Outlook Sabo is dead. I'm just Sabo…" Sabo chanted while crying out making both men looked at each other.
"Why?" Dragon asked.
"I hate noble. They just force me to be like them. I don't want to. They don't care what I want. They just want money, fame and status. They just care about it and didn't care about me. My life, my happiness… my freedom……" Sabo break down and cry heavily.
"I don't want to go home!!! Please… I want to be free…" Sabo added.
Dragon put his hand on Sabo shoulder making Sabo jerked up and look at him.
"Then, stay. If you don't want to go home, then stay here." Dragon said making Sabo feel with hope.
"I can stay?" Sabo asked while Dragon nodded.
"Dragon…" The afro guy said making Dragon looked into his eyes. The afro guy sighed defeatedly.
"Fine. You know the consequences, right?" The afro guy stated.
"I know but if I could, I want it to be secret just the two of us." Dragon replied.
"What do you mean?" Sabo wondered after he wipe his tear away.
"From now own I will be you guardian. You can call me anything you like. Dad, uncle, mister which ever suit you. But I want this to be secret because I have enemies everywhere. If you don't want, I can put you into the system." Dragon answered.
"You do that for me? But why? Are you a mafia?" Sabo surprised.
"Mafia… hahaha…" The afro guy laughed out loud making Dragon annoyed.
Sabo looked toward the afro guy for explanation and still wonder who he is. Ivankov knew the meaning behind that look and smile to him.
"Ivankov. My name is Ivankov. This man is the owner of the Revolutionary Army Empire. He been mark by many who dislike his achievement. He even send his only child away from him in order to protect him." Ivankov explained.
"The Revolutionary Army?!" Sabo widen his eyes.
"You knew, boy?" Dragon amused.
"Yes. The noble talk about you and they really didn't like your company actually. Your company is the one of the companies that refuse to co-operate in the illegal work they want to do." Sabo said making both of them amazed with Sabo knowledge.
"We don't want to taint our reputation and other trust." Dragon stated making Sabo smile a little.
"Dragon… san, Ivankov said you have a child. Is it alright for me to added in your family? I mean… he must be wanting a father attention after all." Sabo asked.
"Yes, I don't want him caught in this world. I want him to live a free happy life. Maybe he hates me because of neglecting him but a father still a father. Father love always to make sure they child safe and be protected. But you, I can see you a rebel. You're a fighter. You love freedom. You want to show them even a noble have a good heart and soul also. You want to change that. Am I right?" Dragon replied.
"Yes." Sabo replied.
"I can help you." Dragon said.
"Why?" Sabo asked.
"Because my wife was a noble. I know how hard for her to get away from that world. Maybe it is too late for her but if I can help a noble child like you to get away from that world, I think she love that. She will not ignore you." Dragon answered sadly. Sabo become silent and think about it.
"If I succeed… can I… someday… can I proudly call you my parent?" Sabo asked. Tear start to fall again. Dragon nodded.
Sabo cried to his heart content making both men smile.
Meanwhile, somewhere else after Sabo jump into the ocean incident …
Shakky walk toward the destination which lead her to Rouge. She accompanied by Reyleigh after she told him that Rouge still alive.
"There!" Shakky point toward the branches and plie of leaves hidden from huma view.
"He sure knows how to hide someone." Reyleigh commented.
They clear the branches and leaves and revealing Rouge body.
"Shakky… Roger… He's…" Rouge said weakly.
"We know. Let us get out of here quick before they know you still alive." Reyleigh already carry Rouge in bridal style. Shakky look at surrounding as if she wants to find someone.
"You are searching for who?" Reyleigh wondered.
"The boy that save Rouge." She answered.
"He already run away in order to let me escape. He said something about someone chasing him. Reyleigh… Shakky… please find him. Please find Ace for me also." Rouge said.
"We will. But first, we need to get out of here." Reyleigh said and the three of them getting out from there without anyone know.
"Where you two headed to?" After Reyleigh put Rouge in the back seat.
"My coffee house, Rip-Off at Saboady Archipelago." Shakky said.
"Stay low, if you can disguise her. I take care here. I visit often." Reyleigh said.
"Rey-chan, be careful." Shakky said in worried tone.
"I will. You two also. Take care of each other." Reyleigh said. They depart from each other afterward.
Rouge look out the window with a sad face. She using the wheelchair as her legs not strong enough impact from the accident. Shakky just sighed to see her best friend or now known as her sister. She manage to pull some string to get new ID for her and disguised her by dying her hair black. Luckily no one suspecting her as she still remain using her old name, Rouge but with different surname.
"Rouge, I am sure he will be alright." Shakky said to her.
"Not he but they..." Rouge said.
"They?" Shakky wondered.
"My sons, Ace and Sabo." Rouge looked toward Shakky.
Shakky just smile. The bell at the door ring once indicate someone enter the coffee house. Shakky smile widely when she saw a figure come in with a wide sunshine smile.
"Lu-chan!" Shakky said.
"Hi, Shakky! Hi, mama Rouge! Shishishi..." a boy greeted them with a big smile on his face.
