This sequel takes place sometime after my first fanfic. There will be more returning characters from the show and my first fanfic along with more new ones in this story.
Chapter 10 A Rescue, A Capture and A Battle
Anxiety continued to grow in Sam as he sat up and listened to Chloe's cry for help while Dean also sat up and looked over really concerned. Sam just breathed as he spoke into the cell phone.
"Chloe, tell me what happened?" he asked her urgently.
"I got a text from Drake telling me that he was in some kind of trouble and had been hiding out and needed me to come get him" she explained.
"What, from Drake when?" Sam cried out.
"Not too long ago, he really seemed like he was scared and wanted me to see him" Chloe explained.
"And then what?" Sam asked urgently.
"So, I went to see him" Chloe told him.
"You what, you left your house to meet him somewhere!" Sam cried out anxiously.
"Yes" Chloe said.
"Chloe, I told you not to leave your house at all with what was going on" Sam cried out over the phone sounding kind of mad.
"I know, I know, but he's my friend he really sounded like he needed my help and he was alone and all so I didn't think it would be dangerous being just him" she cried out.
"Why didn't you call me and Dean, we would have gone with you to get him to be on the safe side" Sam said.
"I know, I even told him that but he insisted that I be the only one that came, nobody else as I was the only one he trusted and I didn't want push it by calling you guys so, I just snuck into my parents room to borrow the car keys while they were asleep and snuck outside and jumped into the car and went where he told me he was at thinking I'll find him there" she explained.
"And then what happened, do you find him?" Sam asked.
"No, not all, it was all a trap, it was Xeno and the rest of the cult members, they cornered me once I was there. They had Drake's phone and texted me themselves so they could lure me there and use me as the final human sacrifice. Oh, God, they killed Drake and now they want to kill me" she cried out sounding like she was in tears.
"Are they with you right now, I mean how are you calling me?" Sam asked wondering if she was being forced to call them as part of a trap.
"No, I was able to get away as fast as I could and now, I'm hiding here someplace in an abandoned building" Chloe said.
"That's good, glad you were able to escape" Sam replied feeling relieved.
"But Sam, they are out looking for me, and I'm afraid they will find me and kill me like they did to Drake and to Ahnika" she cried out still frantic.
"Don't you worry, we won't let that happened just tell me where you are, do you know the address and location?" he asked her.
"Yes" Chloe said still crying.
She then gave them the location and even directions to where to find the abandoned building as both Dean and Sam listened on. "Please, Sam hurry" she cried out.
"Hey, look Chloe, just stay hidden wherever you are and keep very quiet, we are on our way" Sam explained.
He quickly got off his phone and was up off the bed in a hurry. Within seconds he was looking at the map on the internet on his smart phone studying the location.
"We can find that place real quick if we hurry" Sam told Dean.
"Oh boy, lucky us, we spent hours camping out at that Xeno dude's place thinking we weren't going to find anything and now it turns out baby sis got nabbed by that gang, well least we finally got something" Dean said.
"Hey, the only thing that matters is saving Chloe" Sam told him.
Within seconds, the two were out the door and into the Impala as they sped off onto rode, the whole while Sam was checking the map on his smart phone.
"We got to have a plan Dean, I mean there is no telling what those freaks are capable of and you remember what Charlie said about the demon Adramalek that the final sacrifice will take over the human vessel, I mean what if Chloe is the intended target, I promise you Dean, I won't let them get to her" he said still scared of the danger that Chloe is in right at that moment.
"Don't worry, Sam we won't and I of course, we won't be taking any chances will those freaks, this place they got her trapped isn't too far" Dean assured him.
"Let's just get there before those bastards find her" said Sam in a stern tone as that was the only thing on his mind right now, nothing else seemed to matter but to save Chloe if that is the last thing he does that night.
They continued to drive off into the night. It took a bit longer than they hoped to finally get there but luckily, it wasn't too long for them to find the abandoned warehouse as Sam gave directions using the map. They hopped out of the car, and with guns in their hands, they headed towards the building as quickly as they could. The old place looked run down and it seemed empty and there was no sight of the occult members.
Neither Sam nor Dean wanted to call her not wanting to risk her giving herself away to those demon-worshippers who could be somewhere in the building hunting for her themselves. So, Sam just took out his phone and texted her instead and with his luck, she texted him right back telling him where she's hiding. She tells them that she's hiding in the basement part of the room. They enter the place slowly and quietly and soon find the stairs that lead to the basement, and they start to go down the stairs slowly and quietly as mice not wanting to make a sound. Sam kept texting Chloe who texted back that they are getting really close, and before he knew it, a text message says "You're hot now!" leaving Sam a bit confused. "Chloe where are you?" he whispers as there doesn't seem to be a trace of her in the cold, dark, dusty empty basement.
"This seems strange, don't you think?" Dean replies and before Sam could answer him, a long blanket drops on both of them covering both of them up from down their ankles and, now they can't see a thing.
As they are struggling to get the blanket off them, two figures run out and hit them both on the back of their heads with heavy objects knocking them out cold. They next thing, Sam and Dean are waking up and now find themselves tied to chairs with duct tape and their heads both throbbing in pain. They look up to see that that are in an area with a table that appears to be a shrine of a demon with candles all around that are lit and in the center, and on the floor in a drawn red circle lays Chloe who appears to be unconscious. As both Dean and Sam opened their eyes still feeling the pain from the back of their heads, they looked about and saw that they were duct taped to chairs and then turned to face each other.
"Dean, you okay?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, except for feeling like I had one of my hangovers. We should have known it was trap, they blind-sided us" Dean said.
Just then Sam noticed Chloe on the floor appearing lifeless inside the drawing of a circle. "Oh my god, Chloe, Chloe what happened her!" he cried out as they both stared at her body fearing the worse that they got there too late.
"Relax there dudes, she's not dead, not yet at least" said a voice and as they both turned around they saw Xeno, now in a black hooded robe and follow with him was his girlfriend Nova and the rest of the gang all of them also in black robes.
Sam noticed the table with candles that were lit and the shrine and understood what was going on.
"So, you must be the demon-worshipping losers Chloe told us about" Dean replied sarcastically.
"And you guys are the two hunters that have been snooping around" Xeno fired back.
"What have you done to Chloe!" cried out Sam angrily.
"Don't worry dude, like I said before she's not dead at least for now just taking a nap" Xeno said.
"If you hurt her, I swear I'll…." Sam tried to threaten him before he was cut off by another guy in the occult.
"I don't think you are in a position to do anything" he told Sam smugly.
"Precisely, you see we hold the cards here" Xeno pointed out.
"Yeah, you got us, so what was this a trap, you set us up and were just laying in wait?" Dean asked trying to sound like he wasn't afraid.
Xeno just smirked as he walked a little over to the tied up Winchesters.
"You can say that, you see, we have known about you hunters for a while now. The thing about devoting our time Adramalek was that when we sacrificed to him, he gave us certain abilities and one of them was psychic abilities. After we saw you the first time at our hideout, we could sense something about the two of you and just by sacrificing some blood to our master I could see that you two hunters and doing your little sleuthing on us" he explained.
"Yeah, we had to stay one step ahead of you guys, by laying low, we knew you were staking out our hangout the other night and we just stayed in that day. We also knew that you were staking out outside our apartment but lucky we were already here" Nova added.
"So, you did off those two kids first, the girl and now this Drake?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, Ahnika was our first sacrifice, it was the turning point for all of us" Nova said.
"What a thing to do to your own people, kill off new recruits, I thought the point was to get more members" Dean replied.
"Ahnika never really belonged, besides, we don't need new members, it was always just the five of us, the new recruits were always just fair game, a way for us to prove our devotion to Adramalek here" said Xeno as he turned and pointed out the shrine on the table which included drawings of a demon like creature.
"He's our true master and we will deliver whatever he desires just as long as he gives us whatever we desire" replied Nova.
"And Drake, you got him too?" Dean asked.
Xeno nodded his head. "Yes, I have to admit I rather liked Drake, it was a little sad to give him up to our master but we did whatever we needed to so we can serve Him. Drake was a so devoted to us that he did whatever we asked and when we called him up that night to meet us here just him without contacting Chloe because it was something important" he said.
"So, what about Chloe, how did you get her to contact us, did you force her, threaten her?" Sam asked.
Xeno shook his head as he glared at Sam. "We didn't need to, you see after each sacrifice we are giving unique stronger powers were able to use a hypnotic spell that put anybody you want under a trance. We didn't even have to have Chloe present to perform it but simply hearing my voice and chant a few verses in Latin, we were able to lure Chloe here when we called her, then we got her to call you with the story that she was in danger knowing it would lure you guys here and our trap was ready.
We can't afford hunters snooping and interfering in our plans so we just need to find a way to trap you guys and once we complete our final and sacrifice on Chloe to our master, He will be able to fully take over her body and nothing not even an exorcism will be able to get rid of him and we will leave Him to take care you guys" he finished with a smug look on his face so proud of their thought out plans.
"No, you won't get away hurting Chloe, we won't let you" cried out Sam in protective mode.
"But neither of you are in any condition to stop us" Xeno told them.
"Hey, freak, why do you need to do this demon-worshipping human sacrifice garbage anyway, what you've watched too many horror flicks. If you were bored and needed a hobby, why don't you do something more normal like, clubbing, sports, beer, book club or something like that?" Dean said still being sarcastic.
"You don't get it, this isn't a hobby for us but a way of life, we want to be the most powerful beings and as we devote ourselves to our master, we will get all the rewards" Xeno said.
"So, delivering this demon to human snacks is worth it just to get some special hocus pocus, are you really that pathetic?" Dean asked.
"I wouldn't expect a hunter like yourself to understand. This is our destiny, we are the special ones, and we will have all that we desire" Xeno said.
"Yeah, if you say so there, weirdo" Dean replied back in a smart-alec tone.
"Enough of this" Xeno replied then he turned to the others who just stood around silent and gave a nod. "It's time now dear brothers and sisters" he told them.
They then surrounded Chloe standing on the huge circle chanting as Nova had a sharp dagger in her hands and they prepared for the next sacrifice.
Xeno joined them in the circle and spoke up, "Let us begin" and nodded again as the group began to chant while Nova looked prepared to use the dagger.
"Not so fast there, demon-freaks" Dean cried out as the group stopped and turned to him.
"You see, we had a back-up plan ourselves just in case we were about to be ambushed by you psychos" Dean.
"We don't believe you or you would have done something by now" said Xeno.
"Hey, we were just trying to get answers from you freaks" Dean said.
Then both Dean and Sam looked up in the ceiling.
"Hey, Cas it's time" Dean yelled.
Just then Castiel appeared right front of the table with a stern look on his face ready to pounce. The occult members just stood there stunned not knowing what just happened and were quite scared at first.
Then Xeno cried out, "What is the hell is this!" looking confused as well as the others.
"Oh, that's our friend Castiel, he's an angel you know, wings, halo and all well maybe not the halo. You see he's our back-up plan just in case this was a trap, like we said before, we came prepared too" Dean said smugly.
"Are you guys okay?" Castiel asked while still looking serious and ready for battle.
"Uh, we had better nights, but that doesn't matter now just glad you're here and just in time" Sam replied.
The other members backed away a bit looking kind of scared as they had never seen an angel before upfront and didn't know what to expect. But Xeno didn't look scared at all or he didn't show it at least.
"Hey, no need to be afraid, we got Adramalek on our side, he'll protect us from this creature" he cried out.
But the others still backed away in fear as Castiel advanced coming towards Dean and Sam.
"Anybody gets in my way will regret it" Castiel cried out in a threatening tone as they moved out of his way and headed to where Sam and Dean were still duct taped to the chair.
"Sam, Dean I can get you out of that" he told them as he went over to Dean first and just like that, he was able to rip the duct tape off and untie him and then he did the same to Dean as the others backed away in fear except Xeno who just looked angry.
He quickly headed to the shrine and staring at pictures he cried out, "Adramalek come to us" and then started chanting in a language that nobody understood.
Castiel had freed both the brothers from the duct tape by now and as they were standing up from their chairs and they both just watched Xeno who was still chanting and Sam noticed Chloe still laying unconscious on the ground in a circle.
"Thanks a lot Cas, you're a lifesaver" replied Dean.
"Glad you guys are okay" Castiel replied.
"Right now Cas, we need you to get Chloe out of here" Sam told him as he pointed to Chloe.
"Don't you worry guys" said Castiel and then he went over to where Chloe was, kneeled down and touched her body and within seconds they were both gone to the surprise of the occult members.
Then he returned within seconds alone and turned to Sam. "Chloe is safe now" he replied.
"Perfect, but now we need to deal with these freaks, and I don't like what our leader here is doing, something about it irks me" Dean said.
"Don't you worry I'll take care of him" Castiel said but before they all knew it, fire in the candles flowed even bigger and the shrine slightly trembled.
Then Xeno turned around and was now facing everyone with black eyes, his face looking pale with an evil expression on it. The other members were startled by all of this as they never seen this before.
"Oh my, Xeno?" cried Nova confused to what happened to her boyfriend.
"No, not Xeno anymore, he summoned me" said Xeno in a dark husky voice that wasn't his.
"What, Xeno what's going on!" cried out Nova still scared and confuses as was the others.
Xeno just had the same evil look on his face as he glared at everyone with his now black eyes.
"Like I said, Xeno has left the building, now I'm here, your master" he told them.
The occult members just gasped looking shocked in a bit frightened as the demon possessing Xeno advanced forward a little never changing his expression.
"What, it can't be, is that you Adramalek?" asked Nova as Castiel, Dean and Sam were also shocked by his appearance. Xeno/Adramalek just smirked in her direction.
"Yes, child, it's me your master, I'm here to finish what you start because Xeno called for me for help" he replied.
"But we thought you would take over Chloe's body after we made the final sacrifice" said one of the male occult members.
"But you had failed with that as your mistake led this angel being here. Besides, this vessel is only temporarily until I get the permanent one after you all complete your task, but right now we need to take care of these intruders who have interfered in our mission once and for all" he said.
"Don't count on it, Satan-wannabe, you and your groupies here are done" replied Dean as Castiel handed them angel blades he had in his duffel bag he was carrying and they were now all armed with one preparing for a fight.
Xeno/Aldramalek just laughed. "Don't be sure you can beat me as I have a lot of help" he replied with a grin.
Then he turned to his followers and spreading his arms forward he appeared to have zapped with some kind of blue glow and then the group just started looking at their arms and hands as they felt different.
"I have just giving you superhuman strength, now you have the ability to destroy our enemies, the angel being is mine now attack" cried out Xeno/Adramalek.
"Great just our luck being jumped by a gang of superhuman demon-worshipping club" Dean replied.
Then all three of them holding up their angel blades prepared for battle as the occult members came towards Sam and Dean but Xeno/Adramalek lunged at Castiel who held out his blade prepared to strike him but the demon proved too strong who surprisingly managed to overpower Castiel and throw him across the room with is bare hands to the angel's shock. Sam and Dean too were quickly overpowered by the occult members who now had superhuman strength and were able to throw them across the room sending the sliding onto the floor fairly hurt.
Both they both were used to that and just got up and managed grab their blades again in an attempt to just take them out since they were all too strong to fight but any attempts to attack them failed as the members kept overpowering them and throwing them across the room sometimes crashing into a wall. The other woman Rebel managed to get a hold of Sam's blade that fell on the floor during the fight and lunged at him trying to kill him with it, but Sam managed to evade her attempts to kill him and even starting swinging, throwing punches at her but she was still too strong for him to subdue despite punches and kicks.
Meanwhile, Nova and two of the other guys were coming at Dean who tried his past to fight them off but the were all two strong for him.
"Cas, I could use your help" he finally cried out, but Castiel was busy fighting Xeno/Adramalek who proved to be quite the match for him as he even managed to get his angel blade away from him and now had it and was trying to use it on him.
Castiel managed to evade his attempts and finally just vanished altogether. The demon just smirked.
"What's wrong angel, too scared to face me again. I know you thought you could beat me but I'm much stronger than you thought thanks to my followers and soon I will be the most powerful demon that would be unstoppable" the demon said.
But just then, Castiel reappeared just behind him and grabbed from the back and putting his hand on his face managed to smite him using all his powers. Because the demon was more powerful than the average demon it took him longer to smite him and it took quite some strength from him that by the time he was finished, Castiel was felt quite worn out. After he completed smiting the demon, he just let go of his body and it dropped to the ground his eyes now burned out and both he and Xeno were dead. After his death, his powers on the other members were also gone and they found that they no longer had superhuman strength.
By this time, both Dean and Sam were fighting off the two guys as their angel blades dropped to the ground and they were unable to get them. Now with their powers gone both Dean and Sam were now able to overpower the two guys and managed to knock them each out unconscious. Then Nova grabbed a blade on the ground and lunged towards Dean from behind but Dean turned around in time and managed to grab her arm using a self-defense move and put her down the ground struggling and Castiel came over and using his usual technique touched her forehead with his finger and rendered her unconscious.
Then the other woman, Rebel tried to flee in fear and as she was running away, Castiel appeared in front of her and before she had a chance to do anything, he rendered her unconscious too with a tap on his finger on her forehead and she fell to the ground.
As the trio looked around everybody was now on the ground out cold except for Xeno who was dead. Both Dean and Sam breathed a sigh of relief.
"Well, I guess the party of over now" Dean replied sarcastically as Sam just rolled his eyes.
"Thanks a lot Cas, you really saved our bacons there" he said turning to Castiel.
"Yeah, same here man" said Sam.
"Anytime you guys" Castiel said feeling grateful he just managed to save his friends and they all just smiled in triumph.
