This sequel takes place sometime after my first fanfic. There will be more returning characters from the show and my first fanfic along with more new ones in this story.
Chapter 13 Meeting The Parents
Dean and Castiel were both now standing in front of a simple looking beige and brown colored one-story house with a garage. They were both just at the driveway of the house looking around their surroundings to see if anybody noticed them just appearing out of thin air. Luckily for them nobody was outside at that moment. There was even more snow around on the grass, and even in the trees and bushes both the roads were clear although they looked a bit icy and even the house had some snow on the roof.
"Well, I got you here safely now I have to go back to the house and take the others back to the bunker" Castiel told him.
Dean nodded.
"Yeah, well thanks again Cas, and if I didn't say it before, it was really nice having you with us for Christmas, and thanks for the gift" he told him.
Castiel nodded back. "It was really nice being there with you all too, and good luck with your mate" he replied back.
"Alright take care Cas" Dean told him as a goodbye.
"You too" said Castiel and within seconds he was gone and Dean was now alone at the house. He looked around again to see if anybody noticed but nobody was around and he didn't imagine anybody would be just peeping out of their window.
He was starting to feel really cold outside, he just walked up the driveway and to the front door and rang the doorbell. After waiting for several seconds in the cold weather, the door opened, and he was greeted by Ava who was wearing a nice red V-shaped sweater with a gold heart-shaped necklace, navy blue trousers and leather shoes. She was dolled up with some makeup and nice earrings, her long red hair neatly styled and she looked just as gorgeous as she always does.
"Hello Dean, it's nice that you finally got here" she said as she greeted him with a smile.
"Yeah, Castiel dropped me off as you could say" Dean said as Ava led him inside him their cozy home.
Inside, she greeted him with a nice kiss on the lips and wiped off some lipstick she got smeared on his lips. As she continued lead him into the hall, Dean just looked around the home, noticing the Christmas tree still in the living room with nice presents underneath all of them had been opened but were still in the packages. Their Christmas tree was nice, medium size with a lot of decorations and bright lights around and instead of a star on top it had an Angel Christmas tree topper instead.
"I hope you enjoyed your Christmas at Madame Bess's place" she told him.
"Yeah, it was the best Christmas we ever had in a long while, felt really like having a large family around" Dean said.
"I'm sure, Gwen phoned me yesterday and told me some of the stuff that happened, it seemed all great that I wished I was there, although I'm glad I got to spend the Christmas with my folks" she told him.
"Yeah, speaking the devil, where are the parents?" Dean asked. "Oh, they're in the den, right now, I told them to wait there until I called them to meet you" Ava said.
"Well, I feel like such kid right now meeting the parents for the first time and all" Dean said a bit nervously.
"Don't be nervous, I told them all about you already, they won't bite I promise, at least not yet" Ava said jokingly.
"That's nice so when do they bite?" Dean asked being sarcastic to hide his nervousness.
"Oh, come on, it's going to be okay honestly, and you can put your things down already, just leave them in the in the floor right now and you can take them later to the room" Ava told him.
Dean had forgot he was still holding his luggage and bag the whole time and he quickly set them down then Ava came led him living room.
Then Ava walked out in the hall and called out, "Okay he's ready now!" while dean just stood there looking nervous around the room.
He noticed the photos on the desks and tables of the parents and some of Ava when she was younger and it really had a homely feel that eased him nerves a bit. Just then they heard footsteps and in no time Ava's parents entered the living room and Dean's just standing there still feeling like nervous teenage boy meeting his girlfriend's parents for the first time. Ava, who had followed her parents back into the living room just walks to Dean standing next to him to give him some support as she faces her parents.
"Dean, I would like you to meet my parents, mom and dad this is Dean" she said as she proudly introduced them to one another.
Ava's father just walked up to Dean and held out his hand to shake it. "Please to finally meet this notoriously Dean our Ava's been talking about, nice to see you face to face" he said as Dean shook his hand.
Dean could see that her father was a nice-looking middle-aged man, who was close to Dean's height and built, with grayish hair that was once light brown from the photos he saw of them younger. He had a quite handsome face and from the photos Dean could see he was quite good-looking man in his younger years. He was dressed in a gray sweater in brown pants looking like a typical friendly grandfather type.
"Please to meet you to Mr. Renshaw" Dean responded as he shook his hand and then stopped.
"Yes dear, we are so happy to have you here and welcome you into our home" said Ava's mother who then came up to Dean and gave him nice friendly hug and a smile. She was quite attractive for a middle-aged woman, as it was clear where Ava got her good looks from. She was about an inch shorter than her daughter, slender built with nice blonde hair with a bit of whitish streaks that flowed down to her shoulders, and she had the front part pinned back with a hair barrette. She was dressed in a grayish green sweater and beige pants. She shared Ava's beautiful blue eyes or more like Ava inherited her mother's eyes and they both had the same beautiful smile.
"It's nice being here finally meeting the parents and all" Dean said.
"Would you like me to take your coat and all?" asked Mrs. Renshaw.
"No, that's okay I'll carry them myself" Dean told her as he took off his scarf, then his winter coat, hat and gloves and carried them in his hands.
Then the parents gestured him to the couch in the living room.
"Please take a seat Dean and let's get more acquainted" said Mr. Renshaw in a friendly tone. Dean and Ava went the couch and sat down next to each other while the Renshaw's both sat down in the two armchairs nearby.
"Hey, would you like to get a something to eat or drink?" asked Mrs. Renshaw.
"No, that's okay ma'am, I'm good" Dean replied.
"Hey, you don't have to address us so formally, since you're practically family since you mean so much to our Ava here, you can just call me Jim" replied Mr. Renshaw.
"And you can call me Sharon" Mrs. Renshaw added.
"Well, that's nice of you Jim and Sharon, Dean said still feeling a bit awkward addressing Ava's parents so casually considering he's just met them.
"So, I hope you had a happy holiday, Ava told us all about it where you spent your Christmas" replied Sharon.
"Yes, it was the best Christmas as I was telling Ava here" Dean said briefly glancing at Ava who glanced at him back smiled.
"Glad you had a great time during the holiday" Sharon told him.
Just then they heard the sound of a dog barking and within seconds a black and white border collie makes his way into the room all friendly with his tongue hanging out wagging his tail and walks right up to Jim wagging his tail looking up at the man as if he was waiting to be petted and then Jim just stuck his hand out to rub the dog's head.
"Oh, I guess somebody was feeling a bit left out" Sharon replied as Jim kept petting his dog.
"Oh, Dean, this is the other member of our family, Sparky, I've told you about him" Ava said glancing at Dean.
"Yeah, you mentioned your folks had a dog once, I guess I forgot since I didn't see him around.
"Yeah, well, he comes and goes whenever he feels like it, eats our food and then rests, feels like a little moocher but he all fond of him, right boy" replied Jim as he kept petting him.
Soon Ava extended her hands out and called the dog over who just walked away from Jim and right up to Ava his head touching her legs as she bent over and started showing his affection by petting and head and ears like he was a cute baby.
"Hey, Dean you try" Ava urged Dean.
Soon Dean bent down and pet the dog too who was quite friendly to him even sticking his head in his lap.
"Ava told us you're not much of a dog person" Jim replied.
"No, not much but I've been bit more tolerable since, and I definitely can make an exception for this little guy" Dean said as he kept petting the dog.
"Okay, Sparky stopped slopping all over Dean, come here boy" cried out Jim as he reached out his hands and Dean stopped petting him and soon the dog was back with Jim who was now showering him with affection as the dog jumped his front legs onto his lap.
"Oh, just needs a little attention don't you boy" he replied to the dog before he gently brushed the dog off his lap who now just kneeled nearby.
"You know you two such a cute couple" said Sharon as Dean and Ava smiled and she took his hand and held it to show her parents they are indeed devoted.
They continued to chat for another hour or so and then the parents instructed Ava to show him where he would be staying. Dean then got up picked up his luggage and bags while Ava carried his coat, scarf, hat and gloves and then led him into the hall, and they walked through it until she led him to a bedroom.
"This is our guest room" Ava told him as he looked around the nice cozy room.
It had nice drawers, table, a shelf and a full sized bed, just an ordinary nice-looking bedroom, Dean would feel comfortable in. Dean placed all his stuff down and Ava placed his coat and stuff on the bed and they both finally got some alone time together. Ava just walked up to Dean touching his arms romantically.
"Hey, I think my parents really like you" she told him.
"Well yeah, I knew my dazzling charm would work on them" Dean said a bit cockily even though he had been nervous at first.
"Yeah, you just got a way with folks I guess, I mean you had a way with me" she told him in romantic tone.
"Yeah, you weren't very hard at all" Dean said in seductive tone and in no time the two started kissing a bit.
Ava managed to get more of her lipstick smeared on his lips and tried to wipe it off again but that wasn't on Dean's mind.
"You know, after your folks go to bed, you could pay me visit or I could pay you one" Dean told her in sexy tone.
Ava just grinned knowing what he was talking about.
"That won't even be necessary, you see, we both are going to be sharing this room" Ava told him.
"Really, but I thought this was the guest room" Dean said a bit confused.
"It is, but my bed is just too small to fit us both, so I decided to just to share this room with you as long as you are staying here" Ava explained.
Although Dean was excited about the thought of this, he was also a bit worried.
"But what about your folks, will they be okay with all of this?" he asked her. Ava nodded her head.
"They understand our relationship, I mean Dean, they know I'm over 21 and are very realistic about it and all and they are kind modern on this issue. Trust me my dad isn't going to come running in with a shot gun, they do trust that we are careful use protection and all, you have nothing to worry about" she told him.
"What a relief, that your old man isn't going to come running in wielding a shot gun at me and all, good to know" Dean said in a sarcastic tone.
"Dean, it's really all right, we are all adults about it" Ava assured him.
Dean was still a bit wary about all of this, but he just wanted to change the subject now. "By the way, I got you a little Christmas gift, I mean I know Christmas is over and everything, but I got you one anyway to give you when I got here, consider a late gift" he told her.
"Well, that's great because I got you a late Christmas gift too, in fact it's still under the Christmas tree, with all the excitement of you being here, I forget to give it to you then" Ava explained.
"Hey, thanks, I' sure I love it no matter what it is" Dean said even though he didn't entirely mean that, but he would just pretend to love it even if he didn't.
"I'll go get it right now and we can open our gifts together in the room" Ava said.
"Perfect" Dean replied.
"Hold on, I'll be right back" Ava said. Then she turned around and left the room for a while as Dean just waited, sitting on the bed.
When she came back in, he got up and she was holding a wrapped gift in her hand. She went up and handed it to him.
"This is for you, Merry Christmas" she told him.
Dean took the gift from her. "Thanks" he said then he placed the gift on the bed.
"Hold on a second" he told her as he reached into his bag and pulled out a small wrapped gift and handed it to her. "This is for you, Merry Christmas" he said.
She took the gift out of his hand looking anxious. "You know lets opened our gifts together and see what we got the other" she suggested.
"Okay, can't wait to see what I got" Dean said.
Soon they both unwrapped the wrapping paper and opened their gifts and looked them over. Dean saw that he had a picture frame with a photograph of him and Ava cuddling together at a country bar in Lawrence, Kansas posing for the camera with smile. This was taken back in September when Dean wanted to show Ava his hometown and they stopped at this bar and had a lot of fun. She managed to urge him to take part in the line dancing at the bar with a crowd of people as he was so reluctant at first, then slow danced to a nice romantic song and played pool and drank beer. Ava had actually asked a woman at the bar who happened to have a polaroid instant camera with her to take their picture and she politely agreed and snapped a photo of them and handed them the photo and Dean let Ava keep it. Now Ava had it in a picture frame to make the photo look more romantic.
"Hey, I remember when this was taken, I wanted you to have it" Dean told her as he was holding the picture frame.
"I know but I thought I give it to you, just something to remember us by that you can always have. Besides I have other photos of us that I took as selfies" she told him.
"Wow, don't know that to say, thanks Ava, I definitely hanging this up in my room back home" Dean told her.
Then Ava opened the little box she had and saw that it was a gold necklace with an amulet and took out the necklace and held it.
"I just saw that someplace can't even remember but I just couldn't resist getting for you, just seem like something you like" Dean told her though part that was true it also was because he couldn't think of anything else to give her and Charlie convinced him to.
Ava kept admiring the necklace. "It's beautiful, I will wear it tomorrow and never take it off, oh thank you Dean" she told him.
They both of them placed their gifts down on the bed and embraced each other and soon started kissing again then paused still holding each other.
"You know, we can spend a bit more time in here before joining my parents again, just to pass the time" Ava said with a seductive look on her face in a seductive tone.
Dean smirked at the thought of that. "What about your parents, I mean won't they be expecting us?" Dean asked.
"No, they are back in the den watching TV and like I said before, they understand that we are both adults and what goes on is between us" she told him.
Then she embraced him again and started kissing him and he reciprocated and they were both passionately kissing but they paused again briefly.
"I better go and close and lock the door" she told him.
"Yeah, you better" Dean said now in the mood.
Ava closed the door and locked it and soon the two of them continued what they started and before they took it to the next level, Dean made them stop and quickly went over to his coat pocket and pulled out a condom to use and slipped it on. Ava had already taken some birth control pills before Dean arrived that morning. Then the two of them removed their gifts, Dean's coat, gloves and hat off the bed, continued making out and soon they were both undressing each other and soon were on the bed nude making love.
Sorry, this took a bit long to post but I've really been falling behind of my stories. I will try to post chapters between two or three weeks instead as much as possible but can't make promises. Thanks again and please send me reviews.
