Ace looked down at Stoick and the rest of the commanders in shock; he still could not believe they had gone all this way to rescue him.
"That's a lie!" Ace yelled. "You know the damn truth! You told me not to go after him, but I wouldn't listen!"
"I am your captain, and I told you to go," said Stoick. "Ace was only following my orders. Isn't that right, Gobber?"
"Yep, I heard him myself," said Gobber. "Then he left. So I've all the trouble, really. Drago broke the rules of our ship, and you had to seek justice. Everyone in the world knows what happens if you mess with one of our crew mates. If you do, you're going to pay the price. Hiccup did the exact same thing when the World Government took a member of his crew, so how can we do any less?"
"That means if anyone lays a finger on you, Ace, they're going to have to deal with us!"
"Don't worry, Ace! We'll get you out of here!"
The entire crew then burst into cheers.
"Get ready to make how your new home, Navy bastards!"
"Have to admit we asked for this," said Asmund.
"That had better not be regret, I hear," said Magnus.
"This is a real mess," said Kia.
Moria laughed. "All right, what do you say we tally up the odds? On this side, we got Warlords and the Navy's most ferocious weapon, the admirals and a hundred thousand soldiers. On that side, they've got the Hairy Hooligan Pirates, an entire fleet of more than 40 Allied ships. Okay, it's your move, Stoick, let's go."
"Oh, I like it," said Johann.
Hawkeye just remained indifferent, not showing an ounce of emotion.
"Guess you're only going to stand on the sidelines," said Johann, looking at him. "I know you're just here to kill some time. More for me then."
Atali found this entire conflict distasteful. 'This is oppressive; I can hardly stand it. These men are all the same disgusting, bloodthirsty beasts. In all my travels, I have only seen one exception. Please do stay safe, Hiccup.'
The Marines were prepping the cannons when they suddenly saw the water level was beginning to drop.
"The water…?"
"What's wrong?"
"It's receding."
"What's causing it?"
Hiccup and the others said they were pushed back by a massive shockwave; everyone was hanging on for dear life.
"What the hell is going on?"
"What's happening? Why is the ship moving backwards?"
"Oh, come on, we had this!" Buggy groaned as he clung to the railing. "What gives it was nothing but smooth sailing two minutes ago!"
"I'm as confused as you," said Mr 3 as he clung to Buggy's legs, which were clinging to the railings.
Buggy's leg then lost their grip, and Mr 3 was thrown backwards.
"Careful! You got some of my favourite parts back there!" Buggy yelled.
Buggy then lost his grip and soon joined him.
"What's up with this crazy ocean?" Astrid asked. "What's making this happen?"
'He's here,' said Jinbe.
'Looks like Dad has made the first move,' said Hiccup.
Eventually, everything began to stabilise, much to everyone's relief.
"What? And now it's over?" Buggy blinked. "I'm not complaining, but weird."
"It pushed us a good distance back," said Mr 3.
"Well, great," Buggy grumbled. "At this rate, by the time we get there, the fight will be over."
"What was that?" Mala asked.
"You have to be my father's doing," said Hiccup.
Jinbe nodded. "Yes, I agree."
"Wait, your dad caused that?" Astrid stared, astonished.
"He is considered the strongest pirate alive for nothing, you know," said Hiccup. "We should count ourselves lucky that he was holding back."
Astrid's eyes widened. "That was him not for strength?"
"Right now, I'm concerned about Ace; that probably meant that the fighting has started now," said Hiccup.
"Ace should be fine for the time being," said Jinbe. "Do not worry, we will get there."
"Give me a break," said Buggy as he climbed back onto the upper deck. "What? Do you know something that we don't? Is you're Fishman karate going to get us there on time? Or better yet, are you going to get your pals, the whale sharks, to give us a ride."
"My powers don't have much to offer here," said Jinbe calmly.
"Yeah, then where is that confidence coming from?"
Astrid glared at him. "Will you shut your mouth? I don't see you contributing anything except complaints."
"You keep believing that I'm taking a nap," said Buggy as he lay down on the deck. "Wake me when we get there."
His followers then walked up to him with uncertain looks.
"Uh, Captain Buggy, I really don't see this working out if we don't move any faster. You're not giving up on your dream, are you? To become King of the Pirates? It is destiny, right."
"Oh, yeah," said Buggy dismissively. "Well, when the timing is right, I am sure that some kind of miracle will happen, but this obviously aims the right time. So all I can really do is wait."
"So you are giving up? How can you let us down like that?"
"What's wrong with you? Can't you see? Just look at him; that's not surrender or laziness. It's confidence."
Mr 3 rolled his eyes. "No, it's not. Not at all."
"See, cool as can be. He is perfectly composed. So regal he's like a king already."
"How could I be so blind? You're right!"
"He's amazing!"
The pirates were clearly trying to convince themselves more than anything.
"So wrong, all of it," said Mr 3 under his breath.
'I know miracles aren't exactly the most common of occurrences, but what else can I do except wait for one?' said Buggy and then you yawned. 'Damnit.'
Then, the ship suddenly shot forward, and they began to speed up.
"The tide is changing course! We're moving forward again!
Astrid looked at Jinbe. "Did you do something?"
Jinbe shook his head. "Not me. All I've been doing is keeping us on course."
"It's feeling as though it's picking up speed."
"I-It's happening! He's right!"
Buggy accidentally hit his head on the railings, waking him up. "Ow! What is it? What's going on?"
"Hey, Captain Buggy!" said his followers. "It's happening just like you said! Look the miracle you prophesied!"
Buggy just stared at them with his mouth wide open.
Mr 3 shook his head. "It is just a coincidence."
"What is going on?" Astrid asked, looking at Hiccup.
"I have an idea, but it's not a pleasant one," said Hiccup. "There's no denying we will certainly get there much faster now."
"What did I tell you guys," said Buggy as he made his way to the bow of the ship proudly. "All you got to do is wait for the right time, and now that time has called upon me to become the king!"
"Your incredible Captain Buggy! Your one-of-a-kind!"
"Yeah!" his followers cheered. "Captain Buggy!"
Hiccup then tapped Buggy on the shoulder. "And not to rain on your parade, but you had better brace yourself for what is to come."
"Yeah, and what's that?" Buggy asked.
Hiccup merely gestured behind them, and when Buggy followed his gesture in, his eyes practically fell out of their sockets.
"Oh, I see."
Meanwhile, at Marineford, no one had yet to make a move since Stoick flexed his power; it was almost as if Stoick was waiting for something.
"I don't get it," said Jingo, "nobody is moving."
"Maybe they're just waiting for Stoick's command?" said Fullbody.
"I'm choking on attention," said Gustav.
The Marines then noticed that the water level was beginning to rise.
"What the? It's reversed. The tide is rising again."
A Marine grabbed his binoculars and looked out to sea. "Look at the horizon!"
The entire island then began to shake violently.
"What the?!" said Moria. "That's not right!"
"And here comes the final payoff," said Wrinkly. "That harmless see quake he threatened us earlier was just the prelude to a massive tsunami!"
Sure enough, emerging from the horizon was a massive tsunami heading straight towards them; it was so big that it could swallow the entire island in an instant. Already, smaller waves were battling against the battlements.
"A Quake Man!" said Wrinkly. "That is what they call him. He wields the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit."
The Marines immediately began to panic.
"A tsunami! Run for it!"
"Our forces may be many, but that won't guarantee our victory," said Sander as he stood firm, "not against Stoick, at least. Not against him, his crew, no one is safe. He has the power to destroy the world in his veins."
The people on Sabaoday watched, terrified, as the fight was about to begin.
"It's starting the Great War."
"Let's go!" the command is yelled as they drew their weapons.
"Yeah!" the crew cheered.
The battle between the Navy, which consisted of the admirals, the soldiers and the War Lords, was now facing against Stoick's crew and his allies. No one knew how this war would turn out, but there was no denying that once the dust had settled, the entire world would be forever changed.
"Now that is power," said Johann. "He's straight out of hell."
The tsunami was just about to swallow up the entire island, but Asmund jumped out of his seat and launched himself into the air. He outstretched his hands, shooting out blades of ice that penetrated the tsunami and began to freeze it solid.
"Ice Age!"
"Asmund," said Stoick, looking up at him. "You bastard."
"He froze it!" Fullbody gasped.
"That was too close," said Sven.
"Asmund saved our butts," said Gustav.
Asmund then held his hand straight towards Stoick. "Artisan…"
Asmund then created spears of ice and sent them straight down towards Stoick, but he merely swung his fist, creating another quake. This one was far smaller than the one he used previously, but it still had enough strength to shatter the ice spears and carry on towards him.
"Uh-oh," he said as his body began to shatter.
His body then fell down towards the bay, but just as he had the service, he immediately used his powers to freeze the ocean, creating a solid surface to stand on. He even extended his power to outside the bay, trapping the ships outside in place.
"The whole bay is iced over."
"The ship is locked in; we can't even move."
The Marines finally overcome their shock of the giant tsunami.
"Hey, come on, guys. We've got the admirals on our side. They're the Navy's greatest warriors, right?"
"Yeah! You're right! There's nothing to be scared of. Screw Stoick."
"Yeah!" the Marines cheered in agreement.
"All cannons open fire! Sink the Skullcrusher!"
The Marines then began to fire the cannons directly at the Skullcrusher, but Stoick and his crew didn't seem concerned in the slightest.
"Well, let's move."
"We've got something to stand on now."
"Let's show them what we can do, gentleman!" Flashburn cried.
Stoick's commanders then jumped off the ship and led the charge quickly, followed by the rest of the crew.
"We've got the commanders backing us up, too! Open fire and give them everything you've got!"
The Marines soon jumped onto the ice and charged at the pirates.
"Mount a counteroffensive!" Smoker roared.
"Right!" Stormfly nodded.
The Marines and pirates began to clash, and they all looked evenly matched. As you ran across the battlefield, Stormfly took notice of Flashburn cutting his way through the Marines.
"If I'm not mistaken, the Fifth Division Commander, Flashburn the Flashmaster," she said.
She was just about to engagement battle when one of the pirates began to attack from behind while the guard was down. She would have been flat if Smoker hadn't attacked him from behind himself.
"Keep on your toes, Stormfly," he said. "The commanders aren't the only ones we've got to worry about here. Every one of these SOBs is a mighty soldier in his own right."
"Yes, thank you, sir," she nodded gratefully.
Outside the bay, the Navy ships were completely locked in by the ice; the same cannot be said for the pirate ships on the very edge. They wasted no time and began firing their cannons at the Navy ships.
"This ice in the water ain't half bad! Nice of them to set up some stationary targets for us!"
"Let's finish the ships off so we can invade the island!"
They continued to fire their cannons, but the Vice-Admirals joined the fray, completely destroying their cannonballs.
"Yeah, I'm not sure it's going to be that easy."
"They're sending out the Vice-Admirals of Navy HQ."
"It's a rare sight to see them all lined up in a row like that. Ain't that cute?"
"It's like they rolled out a Buster Call to greet us. Too bad because this time, we're the ones doing the busting as they're all about to find out."
"Hey, Estelle, why don't you stand back some?"
"Yeah, please, leave this nonsense up to us. Have a nice cup of tea, and stay safe."
Estelle glared at them. "Don't give me that, you condescending pricks. I'm fine." She then looked towards the battlefield grimly. "Besides, there's no place safe now, even if I swam all the way to the end of the sea."
"We're setting and here on the ice, boys!" Squall yelled. "It's time to trounce those Navy sises! Now, push for solid ground! Go!"
His pirate crew then jumped off the ship and began to engage the Marines.
"We're happy to give our lives to Stoick! It would be an honour! Bring it on, Navy; my men have got nothing to fear! Enough talk, let's go, Squall Pirates!"
"And now it all begins," said Sander.
Hawkeye then stepped onto the edge of the battlement, and all eyes immediately fell towards him.
"Oh man, look!"
"Is Hawkeye going to make a move?"
"Well, what do you know," said Kia. "That is mighty strange."
"So pictures interested, did they?" Magnus muttered. "Hawkeye finally willing to fight."
"You're going to grace them with your sword for once?" said Johann, looking pleasantly surprised.
Hawkeye just remained silent as his gaze fixed upon Stoick.
'That icy glaze would even lead a seasoned warrior frozen dead in his tracks,' said Atali. 'Even with his blade resting upon his back, who has the courage to stare him down?'
Flashburn smiled. 'Hawkeye, every swordsman worth their salt longs the cross blades with him. How else are we to define our worth but to duel and climb the steps of glory with death nipping at our heels.'
Everyone watched as Hawkeye drew his sword.
"Hey, that's the black sword," said Smoker, recognising it. "It's quite famous."
"To be precise, it's named Night," said Stormfly. "There are only twelve like it in the world; they bear the highest grade. See the dark edge of the blade? The temper line? Its cloved pattern? An ornate design that is only suitable for the world's greatest swordsman."
Hawkeye raised his sword and swung it with all his strength, unleashing a powerful slashing attack that headed straight towards Stoick.
"It's Hawkeye!"
Everyone watched as Hawkeye's attack kept on heading straight towards Stoick, who didn't move a single inch and looked as if he was going to take the attack head-on.
