The story takes place right after the season 10 finale, after Dean killed Death, the Mark of Cain was removed and Darkness was released into the world. I mentioned before, new characters will be added and thrown in the story and I will bring back several former characters from the show in the upcoming future.

Chapter 38 Poltergeist

Madame Bess and Missouri rushed to where the basement door was, and they could hear the banging and yelling.

As they got to the door, Madame Bess cried out, "Dean, Ava, are you all alright!" as she grabbed the doorknob and tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge.

"Madame Bess, Oh, thank god, me and Dean are trapped in hear the door slammed by itself and we can't open it!" cried out Ava.

"Oh dear lord, I was afraid this could happen, and I feel terrible presence around us as of now" said Missouri.

"I do too, something definitely is interfering and doesn't want you two to leave" Madame Bess added as she struggled to open the door but couldn't and then she finally gave up. "It's those two spirits of the Cranes, they are behind all of this" she went on.

"But why do the hell of the Cranes want to keep us locked up here, although I'm afraid I already the answer to that" Dean replied.

"You don't think it has anything to do with what we found in this notebook" Ava said who now had the notebook in her hand.

"You guys found a notebook?" Asked Missouri.

"Yes, and it contained a spell to transport bound souls into bodies" Ava told them.

Both Madame Bess and Missouri quickly exchanged glances at each other.

"Oh dear, I'm afraid that is exactly what they are planning, I saw a vision of them performing such spell on you later tonight" explained Madame Bess.

"But why us?" asked Ava.

"I suspect its because they want to be mortal again and their souls to be no longer bound to this house, as their spirits have been trapped in this place for many decades" answered Missouri.

"If that was the case, why didn't they use the spell on the owners when they were here?" asked Dean.

"I have no idea" said Madame Bess.

"Well, I do" replied Missouri with a bit of a sigh.

"You do, Missy, then why?" asked Madame Bess.

"You see, the new owners are a lesbian couple" Missouri replied.

"A what?" asked Dean.

"A lesbian couple, they got married last year and moved down here and bought this place as their dream home, two fine women who just wanted to have a wonderful life together in this city. Anyway, I suspect that the two spirits particular want a man and a woman, which you two guys are, I'm afraid" Missouri finished.

"Oh, perfect, the spirits of Mr. and Mrs. Smith want to use our bodies their human meatsuits, that's what we need!" cried out Dean in frustration.

"Don't you two worry, we won't let that happen, we need to get you all out of there!" cried out Missouri.

"Yes, if there was only something we could use like an axe or a sledgehammer" said Madame Bess.

"I don't think there is any of those things lying around this house" replied Missouri.

"Look, just find Sam and Gwen and see if there okay" cried out Dean.

"Oh my, if they had you two locked down there, they could have my granddaughter and Sam locked away too" Madame Bess said with a worried look on her face.

"Don't worry, we will find them too, the last we saw them, they headed upstairs" said Missouri.

"Hang on there, you two, we will find Gwen and Sam and see if they are safe, and we will all figure a way to get you guys out of there" said Madame Bess.

"Just hurry and find them" cried Ava.

The two women then left and headed to where they staircase was but before they had a chance to get near it, all of the sudden, a very old and worn-out looking lamp from the living room flew at them nearly hitting the two psychics but the women both ducked out of the way. Then other objects from the living room starting lunging at them like some poltergeist. Old looking chairs, the table, the two women just dogged the objects as it flew straight at them nearly hitting them and ran into the dining room where more old objects flew at them including an old and worn-out cupboard each time crashing into walls.

They also heard sounds from the piano in the living room as it began to play by itself very erratically. The women just looked around frightened of what they were experiencing.

"Oh, my I think those two spirits are really trying to scare the wits out of us" Missouri said as she kept looking around for more objects to doge and they just ducked as a candlestick came towards them.

"They definitely don't want us interfering in what they are about to do, but we got to get up those stairs and find Sam and Gwen" said Madame Bess.

"I'm right with you, let's get out of here before, the poltergeist puts us in the hospital" Missouri replied.

With that, the two women ran for the lives out of the dining room, looking over their shoulders dogging anything that comes at them and dashed up the stairs as fast as they could. When they reached the second floor, they appeared to be safe at least for now as there were no other objects coming at them. They then proceeded to call out to Sam and Gwen hoping to find them in one of the rooms but then they heard both Sam and Gwen voices yelling. When they went to look to where their voices were coming from, they noticed that it sounded like it was coming from up on the ceiling and they looked up to notice the attic and they continued to hear Sam and Gwen's voices coming from up there.

"Gwen, Sam, are you up in that attic?" cried out Madame Bess.

"Yes, Ma'am, we got trapped in here when we were looking for clues!" cried out Sam.

"Those spirits trapped us in here and we have no way of getting out!" cried out Gwen.

"Oh, first Dean and Ava and now you two, poor dears!" cried out Missouri who was starting to feel guilty about all of the predicament that four of them are in because of her.

"What do you mean first Dean and Ava, what happened to them?" asked Sam.

"Unfortunately, they got trapped in the basement when they went down there searching for something tied the Crane couple" said Madame Bess.

"Yeah, and we came up to find you two hoping you weren't trapped somewhere as well but unfortunately you got trapped in the attic" replied Missouri.

"Dean and Ava are trapped? Oh no snap, you gotta to get us out of there so we can go and help them" said Sam.

"But the thing is we don't know how dear, I mean we can try, we can look for an old chair in one of the rooms so we can be better able to reach up and open the attic door!" cried out Madame Bess.

"Oh, please hurry!' cried out Gwen.

Madame Bess and Missouri searched all of the rooms that was filled with cobwebs around the room and old dusty worn-out furniture, but nothing was useful. Finally, Madame Bess found something in one the larger rooms.

"Hey, look I found a chair" she said as she grabbed a chair near an old worn out dusty looking desk.

It wasn't too heavy to lift, and Madame Bess dragged the chair out of the room and out into the hall under the attic trap door. Then she stood on the chair and was able to reach the string of the attic door and pulled it in an attempt to open the attic door. She struggled trying to pry the attic door open, but it wouldn't budge. Finally, she gave up and got up off the chair.

"There's no use, I couldn't get it open" Madame Bess said.

"I think the ghosts are keeping us from getting out" Sam said.

"He's right, remember we couldn't get Dean and Ava out of the basement, either as if someone or something was holding the door closed and it may be the same with this attic as well" replied Missouri pointing up at the attic door.

"Does that mean we are never ever going to get out of here?" cried out Gwen who started to panic a bit.

"No need to worry dear, we are not giving up, we will get you out somehow" said Madame Bess.

"We need to get rid of those two ghosts once and for all for all in order for you all to be released" said Missouri.

"But we have no way of doing that, finding and burning their remains doesn't do any good since they are bound their souls to this place, plus we can't leave this house anyway since those ghost couple our not letting us out" said Madame Bess.

"Would do you mean not letting you all out what's going on grandmom?" cried out Gwen. Madame Bess just sighed a bit looking up at the attic. "I mean, they trapped us inside this place too, the front doors won't open no matter how much we tried" Madame Bess told them.

"Have you tried breaking the windows?" Sam asked.

"Really, we were so spooked about was happening and distracted thinking about you guys and all we didn't consider that" said Missouri.

"Besides, we got so spooked by little poltergeist that was going on just before we headed up here that we are bit too wary about going back downstairs" Madame Bess finished.

"Poltergeist, what are you talking about?" asked Gwen.

"Well, let's just say we encountered a little haunting downstairs with objects and things flying around coming at us and we had to head up here to take cover" said Madame Bess.

"Right, and we are a little too spooked to go downstairs and possibly encounter a flying a lamp or a candlestick courtesy of the departed couple of this house" Missouri explained.

"I understand besides, there is nothing you can do outside anyway, we need to find a way to get us out of here so we can rescue Dean and Ava and hopefully we can find a way unbound the spirits souls from this house so we can then get rid of them by burning their remains" Sam said.

"Yes, we need to get Dean and Ava out quickly because we didn't mention it, but I had a vision of those two ghosts performing some kind of spell on them in the basement where they transfer their souls into their bodies which is what I think is why they have them trapped in that basement and is making sure we don't interfere" said Madame Bess.

"I know grandmom, I had the same vison and I fear they'll perform the spell by midnight" said Gwen.

"Why midnight?" Sam asked.

"I just sensed it in my visions, it's just a feeling that it will be at midnight" Gwen told him.

"Hang in there guys, we will think of something, we won't just let those freaks take over Dean and Ava's bodies" said Missouri.

Just then Sam's eyes lit up as if a lightbulb went over his head. "Hey, I can contact Castiel and get him to help us out of this mess" he said.

"That's right, we should have thought of that sooner" Gwen said.

"Castiel, you guys have an angel of god as a friend?" replied Missouri who read Sam's mind.

"Yeah, I'll explain about it later but right now I got to call him" said Sam.

Sam just closed his eyes thinking about Castiel and called out, "Castiel, Castiel, come on Cas, we need your help this is an emergency our lives depend on it" he cried out.

"Sam!" cried out Gwen startling Sam causing him to open and once he did, he was facing the ghost of Josiah Crane, who just looked at him with a menacing look on his face and then opened his mouth real wide and screamed and he did a very loud monstrous sound came out sounding like a banshee, it hurt Sam and Gwen's ears causing them to cover their ears with their hands as they couldn't stand the sound.

Then within seconds, the ghost waved up his hand and both Sam and Gwen went flying across the attic and landed hard on the floor. Both of them struggled to get up feeling quite sore from the fall. Sam turned to Gwen who was still rubbing shoulder as she tried to get up.

"Gwen are you okay?" he asked her concerned.

"Yeah, I think but what the hell was that?" she asked him groaning a bit from the pain.

Sam got up then helped her up. "I think we just met the original owner himself Josiah Crane" he told her.

Just then, Josiah's ghost appeared in front of them again and let out another loud howl waving his arms and before they knew it, they went flying again cross the room, and landed on some of the items in the attic. They both groaned from the pain as they landed right next to each other.

"What the hell is his problem?" Gwen said as she rubbed her shoulder and neck as she was quite sore there.

"I don't think he liked the idea of me calling Castiel" Sam said.

"I think that's all the more reason we should call him, lets call him again real quick" said Gwen who was now too afraid to get up.

Sam didn't waste any time. "Castiel, we really need your help, we're in danger please come right away!" he cried out real quickly.

"Castiel please help us!" cried out Gwen who couldn't resist chiming in.

Just then, the ghost appeared again in front of them spooking both of them as Gwen let out a scream. Meanwhile, back on the second floor, Madame Bess and Missouri had heard the crashing sound in the attic and cried out to Sam and Gwen but then within seconds, they stood facing the ghost of Hildagard Crane who also had a menacing look on her face. Sensing that she was an bad presence that means to cause malice, they both backed away but the ghost then let out a loud scream that nearly hurt both of the women's ears and scared the hell out of them, that they ran into one of the rooms covering their ears with their hands. They closed the door and the screaming stopped.

"Oh dear lord, those evil spirits are getting riled up" said Missouri.

"They must be really scared of something" replied Madame Bess.

"I think it has to do Sam wanting to contact their angel friend" Missouri replied.

"Sam and Gwen!" Madame Bess said in a frightened tone.

"I wonder if they are okay" she went on.

Then she quickly ran up and reached for the doorknob, but it wouldn't budge. "Oh, dear me, this door won't open" she cried out to Missouri.

"Oh no" Missouri cried out then ran up and reached for the doorknob too and also tried to turn the knob to open the door but it just wouldn't budge.

They both took turns trying open the door but no matter how much they tried the door just wouldn't open. The two women gave up upon the realization that they were trapped in that room.

"It's no use Bessie, we are stuck in here like it or not" Missouri said with a sigh.

"I'm not worried for ourselves, I'm scared for Sam and Gwen, there can sense that are not safe from those ghosts" Madame Bess said.

"Well, I just hope for all our sakes, that this Castiel is reliable because he may be our only hope now" she told her.

"Don't you worry, Missy, this Castiel has a knack for coming through for Dean, Sam and all of us plenty of times in the past and I'm sure he'll come through for us now" Madame Bess told her.

"Well, it better be now before these ghosts make us ghosts" Missouri replied sarcastically.

Back in the attic Sam and Gwen were still trying everything to dodge the ghosts, Sam tried reaching for his rifle which he can use to fire at the ghost and make him disappear temporary and then maybe get the salt out of the duffel bag he was carrying but the Josiah's ghost won't let him near the gun or duffel bag but keeps sending him flying across the attic whenever he tries.

"Castiel, Castiel, we need your help right now, it's an emergency our lives are on the line here!" cried out Sam and Gwen was crying out for Castiel with him.

Just then Castiel appeared right before them within seconds. He turned to face the spirit who was no threat to him since he was an angel and Josiah stopped his screaming upon seeing him. Then he turned to Sam and Gwen who were on the floor rubbing their sore bodies.

"Oh, thank god, Cas, what took you so long I thought you would never show, or you didn't hear us" Sam said.

"I heard you both, sorry I was delayed but I'm here now and from the looks of it now too soon" he said facing Josiah's ghost again who just stood and starred at him menacingly.

"Please Cas, just get us outta here and I'm mean out of this house" said Sam.

"Just grab a hold of me" he told them and with that they quickly got up off the floor and each touched Castiel's shoulders and within seconds they vanished.

The trio teleported to the outside of the house and are now standing on the front lawn. Although Sam and Gwen are relieved to be out of that house, they realize that others are still trapped in there.

"Thanks for getting us out of there Cas, we really owe you one, but the others are still there, Dean, Ava…" and before Sam could finish his sentence Gwen interrupted him.

"And my grandmom and her psychic friend Missouri are also still in that hell house" she cried out.

"Please Cas, go get them out too" Sam pleaded.

"Don't worry, I'll get everybody just tell me where they are, to make it quicker to find them" said Castiel.

"Well, Dean and Ava are in the basement and they're in danger" Sam said.

"And my grandmom and Missouri are somewhere on the second floor, please hurry before those two ghosts get to them!" she also pleaded.

Within seconds, Castiel vanished and few seconds later, reappeared with Dean and Ava.

"Dean, so glad you're safe" said Sam who went over to him.

"Hey, we wouldn't let a little haunting be the end of us" Dean said sarcastically while the two women ran and hugged each other.

"I'm glad that you're okay" said Gwen.

"The same goes for you too, we were wondering if Mr. and Mrs. Haunting didn't get to you as well" Ava said becoming just as sarcastic as Dean.

Castiel disappeared again without saying a word and appeared some seconds later now with Madame Bess and Missouri.

"Grandmom!" cried out Gwen upon seeing her grandmother and then they rushed towards each other hand hugged.

"Thank goodness, those two ghosts didn't harm you any" said Madame Bess.

"I'm glad they didn't harm you any" said Gwen.

Madame Bess than ran to hug the others while Missouri just watched the whole thing.

"Thank goodness for everybody, and as much as I'm relieved to be out of that house of horrors, we need to figure out our next step" she told them.

"Yes, and there is something that you two need to know about what I saw in my visions" Gwen said to Dean and Ava.

"Us? I get the feeling this isn't good news" replied Ava.

"It isn't. I saw the visions too and we definitely have to talk" Gwen told them.

With that Madame Bess, Gwen and Missouri told Dean and Ava everything they saw or sensed.
