Chapter 48 A Surprise Attack

Sam just looked surprised at what Becky just said. "What do you mean you can't do it, Becky I don't have time for this, I got to get back to the motel to pick up Dean and keep a trail on those biker werewolves, this is an emergency" he told her getting a bit impatient.

"I mean I can't stay at the motel by myself. Sam after everything that happened with someone or something nearly trying to get into my house and then these biker werewolves are going around town killing folks, people I know. I can't even relax knowing there still roaming around this time hunting for more victims. I sorry Sam, but I'm just too scared, I can't be by myself, I feel much more safe around you and Dean, at least I trust you can stop these freaks" Becky told him all in one sentence.

Sam began to feel more sympathetic towards her. "Look, Becky I get that you're scared but trust me, you will be very safe at the motel room. Dean said he saw the bikers all leave on their motorcycles which likely means they are heading to that bar they usually hang out at. You have nothing to worry about" he told her more calmly.

"Yeah, but what about that thing that was banging on my windows probably trying to get in. Whatever that was couldn't have been one of them since you said all five of them were at the motel and just rode off on their bikes. Like you said, there is probably another werewolf that we don't know about and probably even more we don't know about. What if whatever was outside my house shows up at the motel or another member we don't know about. Look, this may sound paranoid, but I don't want to take any chances, I'm just too scared to be all by myself. Please let me go with you and Dean at the bar, I'll feel safer sticking with you guys" Becky told him anxiously.

"Becky, being with us could be even more dangerous since we are keeping tabs on those werewolves, neither of us would want anything to happen" Sam said.

"I doubt those bikers will attack in a public place with witnesses. From what I gathered, all the murders seem to happen in private once the werewolves are alone with the victims. Please Sam don't let alone. I swear to you if you dump at the motel room alone, I will just leave and walk to the bar to find you guys, I know my way around town and I might risk getting attack which will be on your conscience and it all could've been avoided if you had just taken me along with you" Becky told him.

Sam just sighed out of frustration. Becky was putting him in an awkward position. He wanted to keep her safe and felt her staying at the motel room is much safer than with him, but he gets that she's scared out of her mind, and she does make some points and he doesn't want to risk her leaving that motel room once he and Dean drive off and probably put herself in even more danger. Besides, he too is wondering if there is another member of the pack that he doesn't know about whatever it was tried to break into her home could know where Sam and Dean is staying leaving Becky more vulnerable.

He didn't have time to debate with Becky he had to act fast and right away. "Oh snap, alright Becky" you can stay with us so we can keep an eye on you" he told her.

"Oh, thank you Sam, thanks again" Becky said all excited that she nearly hugged Sam, but she stopped herself.

"Sam, I promise you won't regret this, I won't get in the way" she went on to say.

"Just promise me that your stay close to me and Dean and do exactly whatever we to tell you to do and if I tell you to run you'll do it without question?" Sam asked her firmly.

"Anything you say I promise just as long as I can stick with you guys" Becky said.

Sam just nodded. "Okay, fine but let's get out of here right now, I don't want to keep Dean waiting any longer" he said.

"Okay but let me get my purse" Becky told him.

She grabbed her purse from her bedroom while Sam waited in the living room when all of the sudden, he heard a noise that sounded like a thump.

"Becky?" he cried out concerned.

Becky came out of her bedroom with her purse. "

Sam?" she replied.

"Becky did you hear that noise?" he asked her.

"Yeah, I did, it sounded like it came from my aunt's bedroom.

Then they heard the noise again.

"Please tell me you have a pet" Sam said to her.

"No Sam I don't have a pet and right now, I'm really scared" she told him.

"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you" Sam reassured her.

They heard the thump sound again that came from where hallway where the bedrooms were.

"It definitely sounded like it is coming from there" Becky said as she pointed at the hallway as Sam looked in that direction. "Oh Sam, I think someone, or something is in this house, maybe whatever was outside my home, perhaps they never left after all" she said now real frightened.

"Look Becky, I'm going to check it out, you should wait right here" he told her.

"No Sam, I think I should come with you; I wouldn't feel right leaving you alone" Becky said.

"Hey Becky, I can handle myself, remember I have been trained in this and it could be too dangerous for you" Sam said.

"Hey, remember, I was the one who saved you're your bacon the last time" Becky reminded him.

"I know but that doesn't make you an expert, if it is one of those werewolves than it is very dangerous for you and I want you to stay here, be a lookout or sorts" Sam said.

"Okay Sam but please be careful" she told him.

"I always am, I have my gun here" he said pulling his gun from his pants pocket that has silver bullets that he brought with him.

"Yeah, I almost forgot" Becky said who suddenly remembered that silver are a werewolf's weaknesses.

"Okay wait here" Sam said and Becky obeyed as Sam went in the hallway where the bedrooms are.

He first opens the door to Becky's room and went inside turning the lights on. He searched around the room as much as he could but when he saw that the room was empty, he turned the lights back off and left. Then she searched what appeared to be the master bedroom. He turned on the lights and looked around and noticed one of the windows was opened. Sam searched around and when he didn't see anyone else in the room, he quickly went over to shut the window and then he noticed that the window had a hole in it.

It was quite a big hole that was shaped as a circle. Sam studied the hole curiously as he noticed the hole was quite clean, meaning whatever made that hole cut it quite clean using some kind of object that would cut through glass perfectly. Just then he heard a noise and turned around in time to see a werewolf lunging towards him. Sam pointed his gun and was about to use it but before he could, the werewolf quickly raised his hand knocked the gun out of his hand with his right claw. The gun falls to the ground as the werewolf comes upon Sam as he spins him around and throws him to the ground.

"Sam!" Becky cried out as she was now at the doorway and watching the whole thing in horror.

As Sam now lay on the floor, the werewolf pounced on him, but Sam managed to grab his neck to hold him off and prevent him from biting him, but it didn't stop the creature from scratching Sam's wrists with his claws causing pain to Sam, but he wouldn't let go or give in to the pain.

"Oh no Sam!" Becky cried out.

Sam managed to give a brief glance at Becky.

"Run, Becky run!" he shouted at to her, but Becky wouldn't budge.

In fact, she quickly pulled something out of her purse. Then she stepped into the room looking terrified. As she got a close enough to the werewolf who was still on top of Sam trying hard to bite him, Becky pointed out a what appeared to be mace in her hand and yelled, "Hey freak, eat this!". Then as the werewolf turned around to face her, she sprayed the mace right into the creature's eyes. The werewolf finally got up off of Sam and stumbled back growling in pain has he covered his eyes with his paws.

However, this didn't last too long as seconds later he then looked at Becky angrily and started advancing towards her forgetting all about Sam. Becky backed away from the doorway and ran out of the room with the werewolf following her out chasing her now through the hallway and was getting quite close to her as he was about to pounce as she was heading for the front door when suddenly Becky heard three gunshots and turned around. She saw that the werewolf had been shot from behind as Sam stood behind the creature some distance away now with his gun in his hand. The werewolf then stumbled back then collapse on the floor dying. As the werewolf was dying it then transformed back into his entire human form.

Sam just went over to Becky walking pass the corpse on the floor. "Becky, are you okay?" he asked her.

"I'm fine Sam but what about you, he could have killed you, he did try to kill you" Becky said looking concerned.

"Hey, I'm okay, just a typical night getting jumped by a werewolf" Sam said being sarcastic like Dean.

Becky then noticed his wrists that were scratched and bloodied.

"Oh my god Sam, you're hurt, your bleeding!" she cried out horrified.

Sam looked down at his wrists and noticed the how badly scratched they now blood oozing out. Even some of his sleeves were torn. He didn't notice the pain at first due to the adrenaline, but now it started to sting.

"Don't worry Becky it hardly even hurts" Sam told her.

"Oh Sam, those wrists need to be treated or you will bleed to death, and I don't have any bandages" she said.

"Hey, I can take care of these wounds, I just need to wrap them up with something" Sam told her.

"Oh snap, come on let's go the kitchen" Becky said as she grabbed Sam's arm and led him away still sounding all worried about his wounds.

She took him into the kitchen where she turned on the kitchen sink and had Sam's wrists under the faucet using hot water so he wouldn't get an infection.

"Good thing, a scratch wound doesn't turn you into a werewolf or I'll be having fangs and claws" Sam told Becky who just shook her head as she wasn't too impressed by his wisecracks.

"I think I have an old dust cloth to bandage your wrists" she told him.

"An old dust cloth?" Sam questioned.

"Yeah, it's really just an old torn out T-shirt that use to dusk the furniture" she tells him.

Then she goes and fetches it out of from the pantry and taking some scissors she out from one of the drawers in the kitchen, she cuts up the old dusty looking white T-shirt and in half and taking one half of cloth that she cut, she wraps it around Sam's left wrists pretty tight than does the same with the other half and wraps one half it around his right wrist.

Sam just looked on impressed. "Wow, where did you learn to do that?" he asked her.

"I took some first aid lessons when I was kid" she told him.

"Well, you may have made a good nurse" Sam told her teasingly.

After they were finished, they remembered about the dead werewolf in Becky's aunt's bedroom. They went back to the bedroom to get a closer look at the now dead man lying on the floor. They could see he was a young man in his twenties with longish light brown hair and face was a bit unshaven. He was also wearing a grey flannel shirt and jeans and had a digital watch on. He no longer looked scary but just like an ordinary guy. Becky stared at him in disbelief.

"Oh snap, I think I know that guy" she said.

"You do, who is he?" Sam asked her.

"He's a local here, I've seen him work at the grocery store a few times, don't remember his name" Becky said.

"He's definitely not part of that biker crew" Sam replied.

"Then they are more werewolves out here other than the biker gang" Becky replied.

"Looks, like it" Sam said.

"But how why, not kill him too?" Becky wondered.

"I don't know maybe they're not just looking for a hunt but also a chance to bring in new blood into the mix" Sam said.

"I wonder if they have any other new blood in their crew that they turned" Becky said looking quite worried.

"I don't know, anyway we need to get out of here and get to the motel already, Dean will be wondering what is taking so long" Sam said.

"But what about him?" Becky asked pointing at the corpse on the floor.

"We can't leave a dead werewolf on my aunt's bedroom floor" she told him.

"Quickly grab a blanket" he told her.

Becky ran to the hall closet where there were folded blankets and sheets and she grabbed one of them and headed back to the room. Soon Sam wrapped the dead man in the long blanket while Becky watched uncomfortable. Then he handed her the car keys as he prepared to lift up the corpse.

"What if there are more of those werewolves outside the house waiting for us" Becky said still frightened.

"Don't worry, I got my gun here protect us. Right now, I need you to be a lookout to see if anybody is out there. They may have heard the gunshots and may have even called the police" Sam said.

"And what if they had?" Becky asked.

"Then we will say we were watching something on the TV, and we had it up loud" Sam said.

"And the body?" Becky asked again.

"We just hide the body somewhere" Sam told him.

"Oh my" replied Becky still spooked by what had occurred.

Anyway, Sam directed Becky to check outside while he remained behind her carrying the rolled-up corpse over his shoulder holding the gun in his hand. Becky opened the door and looked around, but it didn't seem like any of the neighbors noticed a thing. If her neighbor Myra was really concerned, she would be looking out of her window this minute and would have called the police. Satisfied that nobody was watching, Becky turned to Sam who was several feet behind her.

"Okay the close is clear" she said.

Sam then went of the house still carrying the corpse with Becky following right behind him as they headed for the car looking around hoping nobody saw them. They go to the back of the car where the trunk is and Becky using the car keys unlocks the trunk and opens the trunk door. Sam then quickly throws the body in the trunk and shuts it and then making sure the trunk is locked, then turns to Becky.

"Come on let's get out of here already" he says.

They both jump in the Impala and within seconds are driving off. Back at the motel, when Dean got off the phone with Sam, he was still looking out the motel window as he saw all the bikers get on their motorcycles drive off and already knew they were heading back to the Country Line bar where they usually go. He didn't understand why all five of them were leaving this time since before some of the members remained behind in the past. What was different that night. Dean couldn't worry about that too much right now as he needed to wait for Sam to get back so he could they can drive to the bar themselves after dropping the former crazy fangirl off here at the motel.

Of all the things they have to deal with tonight, to deal with motormouth Becky. As he was looking out the window, he noticed that biker chick again now going outside standing where the motorcycles were parked and appeared to look distress or angry due to the gestures she was making. The curiosity was too much for Dean ignore. He had to know who she is and how is she tied to those bikers since she clearly isn't one of them at least he doesn't think so. Anyway, making sure his gun is in his pants pocket, he went outside to confront the biker chick. He walked over to where she was standing still looking upset.

"Hey, looks like your biker pals left without you there" he told her wanting to start a conversation.

"They are no friends of mine believe me" she told him.

"Yet, you seemed to be waiting for them and they left already probably heading to that bar again" Dean told her.

"Well, don't you worry about it there good-looking, I can take care of my own business" she said as she turned and faced him.

He really noticed just how hot and sexy she was in her biker chick gear. If he wasn't already spoken for, he definitely would be into her.

"Hey, you aren't from around here either, neither or your partner. I saw that when you checked into that motel. You're here for a specific reason like you're after something" she told him.

"Hey, don't worry about my reasons, trust me you're better off not knowing but then again I could also say the same about you. You are also here for an agenda, does it got anything do with those bikers by the way?" he said to her.

"Hey, just like you I have my own reasons and it's best you not to worry your goodlooking head about it there, sweetheart" she told him in an almost seductive tone.

Dean could sense she was flirting a bit and the old him would have been flirting right back but now he has Ava coming in his thoughts and how committed he is to her that not even this hot biker chick could make him violate that.

"Hey, by the way are waiting for a lift or something, I mean you didn't just come out of your motel room just to have a moment with me" she said with grin.

"Yeah, just waiting for my brother to come back that's all" Dean said.

"Somehow I get to feeling there is more than that" she told him.

"Yeah, but even if that was true that's personal" Dean told her.

"Fair enough but look as much as it's nice talking to a cutie like you, I got some place I out to be and I better get going already but maybe we will talk some more later okay, so see ya" she said and then she turned towards her motorcycle.

"You're heading for the Country Line bar, where those bikers are heading?" Dean asked.

She turned towards him again. "Again, my business there" she said and turned toward the motorcycle again and was about to get on it when Dean suddenly noticed the bracelet the woman was wearing. That bracelet looked very familiar and he realized it was a hunter's amulet and it quickly clicked with him.

"You're a hunter" he called to her.

She turned around and faced him.

"You know about hunters?" she asked him.

"More than you know" he said.

"Then that must make you a hunter too" she said.

"You're hunting those bikers who also werewolves" Dean said.

The woman nodded her head. "Yeah, and you're on the case too, who are you by the way?" she asked him.

"Oh, the name is Dean, and you are?" Dean replied.

"Oh, the name is Jen" she said.

"Well, please to me you Jen" Dean said as he extended his hand to give her a friendly handshake.

"Please to meet you Dean" Jen replied as she reached out shake his hand.

Afterwards she let go of his hand.

"Anyway, I got to be going now to that bar, those bikers are probably there by now and so I got to catch up to them, but you know what, since you're a hunter too you could come with me. I'm usually a loner, but I'm not too proud to ask for assistance when I encounter a fellow hunter" she told him.

"Go with you, you mean on your bike?" Dean asked.

"Sure, since you are heading there anyway, and we both want the same thing well with me it's not just another case, I actually do have an axe to grind with these werewolf biker freaks" she said.

"Hey, as much as I would get a thrill to have a chance to ride on the back of a motorcycle with a hot biker chick, I have to wait for my brother to come and give me a lift" Dean said.

"Hey, no problem, you can just phone him and tell him you are already got a ride there and he can meet you there, I mean since we're both headed there anyway, no need to wait" Jen urged.

Dean was still hesitant.

"Hey look, I could use the company besides, I figure could also have extra backup, I mean us hunters should stick together whenever possible. Like I said before, you can phone your brother and tell him that you already have a ride to the bar and meet you there. I admit, I wouldn't mind having two hunks as backup, that is if your brother is nearly as sexy as you" she told him in a sly tone.

Dean just smirked. "I'm really flattered by that but I…." he said before she cut him off.

"But nothing, look I don't bite unlike those bikers, there is no trouble at all and like I said before, I could use the company" Jen kept insisting.

After brief pause and a hesitant look Dean just sighed. "Alright, but first let me call my brother up and to let him know" he said.

"Sure" Jen replied.

Then Dean pulled out his phone and texted Sam. Meanwhile, Sam is now in the car with Becky heading back to motel when he receives the text. Pulling out his phone, he knows he can't read the text while driving so he gives his phone to Becky who is in the passenger's seat. "Dean just sent me a text, read it for me okay" he told her.

Becky nodded and took the phone and read his text aloud. "It says that he got a ride from biker the chick and they are both on their way to the bar and to meet him there once you dropped me off and that he would explain more once you get there" she read.

Sam looked a bit puzzled as to why he would accept a ride from that biker woman, but he was just going to go along and meet Dean at the bar where he can get an explanation.

"Wonder what who this biker chick is?" Becky asked.

"Beats me but plans have changed, we are heading to the bar right now" he told her.

So now Sam's destination was to the Country Line Bar where he'll meet Dean, this biker chick and the biker werewolves and with Becky right there with him. There's going to be a lot of explaining to do on both sides and he sensed it was going to be a long night.
