Maria: Well, he finally did it.
Chris: He sure did.
Hibiki: He finished the original arc!
*Clapping*
Maia: And all that happened was a shit ton of more trauma for everybody. That's a fair trade, yeah?
Tsubasa: I would argue no. No it was not.
Maia: Aw, lighten up a little, Basa.
Shuri: She does have a point. What happened was quite horrific, even by normal standards for Symphogear.
Kirika: Uh, lessie here, dess. *Flips through the author's notes.* The author said that going forward things won't be as dark. So it's smooth sailing from here, dess!
Shirabe: I'm positive that he's lying.
Chris: Yeah no, that jackass is definitely lying.
Maria: Come now, have a little faith.
Miku: Faith after what happened the last 13 chapters seems a bit generous.
Hibiki: Uh, guys, don't you think you're being a bit mean?
Maia: Damn, they're really pissed, huh.
Tsubasa: I would've believed you would have been the most upset, Neesama.
Maia: I mean, it is what it is.
Maria: How you're so nonchalant about this disturbs me sometimes.
Maia: But speaking of which, it's kind of weird that Rui isn't with us for this one.
Shirabe: Does her detainment carry over to this too?
Kirika: No. She's just salty that this arc didn't have as many Kamen Rider references in comparison to the three arcs before, dess.
Chris: Is that freaking Chuunigure serious…?
Maia: But hey, the mecha references were cool, yeah?
Miku: I would've thought that the mass amount of references in the last two chapters would've been enough for her.
Shuri: I thought she paid attention to all the chapter titles too.
Maria: Well, at least we'll be able to talk to her when the next arc rolls around. Maybe even during the interlude.
Kirika: I think the author is burned out to write out all that right now.
Shirabe: He's a workaholic when it comes to this. He started writing this minutes after he made the big announcement on being finished.
Chris: Still not gonna give him a break after the shit he pulled.
Hibiki: But anyways, let's give ourselves a big round of applause for managing to get through the original arc! Here's to getting through canon!
Tsubasa: Though I would imagine the author would change things up for this too…
Shuri: Why would you say that…
Tsubasa: Say what?
Shuri: Nevermind. Let's keep going with our heads held high.
Hibiki: That's the spirit! And so-!
*Rui kicks down the door.*
Hibiki: Oneesan?!
Rui: Guys we have to do a QnA.
Chris: You serious?
Rui: Yeah, we got a crap ton.
Charlesho883 asks "Is Fudou consider Maia failure due to she less talent in sword than Tsubasa?"
Maia: No. He just hates me because I didn't fall for his stupid controlling bullshit.
Tsubasa: Though I am more skilled in sword combat.
Spiderdoraemon asks; "Who does Maia main in smash bros?"
Maia: If you thought I mained the sword character, you're wrong. I main Steve. He's funny and broken at the same time.
Rui: You're an awful human being.
Kirika: But doesn't Steve have a sword, dess?
Tsubasa: He may, but his fighting style does not rely on them entirely. Those that studied the blade must prioritize it in almost all of their attacks.
Chris: Senpai, I'm pretty sure you've never played Smash Bros in your life.
Maia: Oh she has. I just won against her all the time.
Spiderdoraemon asks; "Does Rui have any Kamen Rider merch that's signed by anyone who played them in universe?"
Rui: Yes.
Shirabe: That was easy.
Rui: Honestly if you paid attention, it would be pretty obvious.
Ronivaldo asks; "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I read in some chapter that you planned to Kirika and Shirabe have twin sisters like Hibiki, Tsubasa and Chris, but it didn't happen. Do you think the story would be different if you went foward with that idea?"
Kirika: Oh that's right, dess!
Shirabe: That's an interesting question, considering how different our AU selves are.
Shuri: One's a scientist, the other controls a remote android body of herself.
Maria: While Kirika's situation would definitely be different, I'd imagine the author didn't think too far with that one. Though Shirabe's sister would have probably played the scientist role alongside the rest of the crew.
Spiderdoraemon asks; "What gave you the idea of making the Lost Song arc before doing AXZ?"
Rui: The Lost Song arc wasn't planned to be part of it originally, but after the story details came out, the author decided to go full force with it.
Chris: AXZ and XV are pretty connected, and there was a lot of space between GX and AXZ, so it was a perfect fit.
JGaim asks; "Did you ever have the idea to have Miku keep her Symphogear?"
Miku: Oh, I asked about that too.
Hibiki: The author said no, because the role that was set was decent enough. He won't say more than that.
Shuri: Though you may see something soon…
Spiderdoraemon asks; "Will you ever commission some more fanart of your story?"
Maia: If he has the cash, sure.
Spiderdoraemon asks; "Who is your favorite character to write?"
Maia: It's obviously me, right?
Shirabe: Nope. It looks like Rui is his favorite to write.
Rui: Seriously? Why?
Chris: Guess being the walking Kamen Rider reference pays off.
Monica2387 asks; "One of the questions that I do have is that I'm honestly curious if Starlit had cancer or something like that"
Rui: Uh…
Maria: Well, I suppose that's one way of interpreting it…
Shuri: Starlit's illness wasn't supposed to be anything specific, according to the author. The fact was that Tesla was unable to cure it, no matter what he tried short of changing reality. It's a reminder that not everything is in his control.
Symphosavior510 asks; "What was an initial difficulty you had when starting X2?"
Hibiki: I think he said it was the fact that a lot of his writing was adapting a lot of the early episodes directly, so he was a bit frustrated at how much of the early stuff was copy and paste.
Rui: But once he found the right way to approach things by writing us as the main focus, it became easier for him to write new content.
Maia: It also was a bit of a pain for him to write us not fighting, so once we got our weapons, it made things much smoother.
ZeroEnchiladas asks; "Will you ever go back and add Insert Themes to the older chapters of X2 that were Pre-GX?"
Shuri: The author has considered that a few times, but decided to leave it as is.
Maia: See, GX is where us twins really started singing and understanding how the whole thing works. So from a symbolism point, that's when the songs really started resonating with us.
Rui: One way you can look at it is a sort of awakening for us. Once we really started resonating with the others.
ZeroEnchiladas asks; "What made you stick with (for the most part) Final Form Insert Themes for Lost Song's titles specifically? They work rather well though so I can't complain but I'm curious as to why you kept yourself mostly limited to just Final Form Themes."
Chris: He wanted to stick with a music theme for the titles and was dabbling with ideas.
Maria: His first thought was obviously Kamen Rider related, but then he felt a lot of the Insert themes were all too wide.
Kirika: But after looking at the Final Form Inserts, he made a decision, dess!
Shirabe: A lot of Final Form Inserts have a "finale" feel to them all. He said it fits the dire and desperate themes that the Lost Song arc has.
ZeroEnchiladas asks; "You mentioned scrapping the idea of FIS Artificial Relics that would give extra armaments or weapons but you never mentioned why. Was it because you believed the Twins' arsenals would be too bloated? Or was it because you figured they were already getting some crazy stuff and just didn't need the minor extra equipment?"
Tsubasa: I believe he said things were getting far too "cluttered" at that point. It would make things more complicated than they already are.
Rui: Plus, we'd be stuck with using those only in our base forms or something. It'd be a waste to do it like that.
Shuri: But he said he revamped the idea for the future. We don't know what that means, though.
Chris: I think that was the last question.
Hibiki: See you all next arc, after the interlude, everyone!
Maria: Wait, are we not going to explain how Maia could still use Gungnir even though she didn't have it?
Maia: I met Kanade in the spirit world or something. I'm sure our readers have basic media literacy to get a rough idea.
