Chapter 13
~I don't need you~
"Ahhh, Remicchi was subbed out!" Kise whined.
"That's strange, she didn't stop the last shoot, I don't understand, she was already in mid-air." Kasamastu said with a puzzled face.
"Senpai, don't you think she's doing on purpose, do you?"
"On purpose? Why will you think that?" The Kaijo's captain asked Kise.
"I don't know, it was a feeling. I mean, i don't think she wants her team to lose, but it's almost like she's forced?"
Kasamatsu looked at Kise confused.
"Oi, what are you up to? Huh? Are you sabotaging yourself?" I heard someone speaking, I turned around just to see Aomine, standing near the bench.
"Aomine! W-what are you doing here? You can't stay here!" I told him, while pushing him further away.
"Did you hear me? What the hell are you up to?" Aomine asked, now with a serious look.
"Nothing." I lied.
"Who are you? I don't know that type of basketball of yours that you've played a while ago."
"I was just nervous, that's all." I replied.
"So did you not stopped that shoot on purpose?" Aomine was now closer.
"Of course not! I just couldn't stop it!" I angrily told him.
"Pftt! Are you bullshitting me? You stopped me, and you can't stop that shoot? Oi, oi, what does that make me look like?"
"Like I care what that makes you look like!" I told him in a high pitch.
"Tch! I won't play never again against you." Aomine said looking at me.
"Huh? Why are you like this?!" I was angry at him.
"If you don't start to play seriously in this game, you're not worth it to be called a basketball player." He said turning away to walk away.
"Oi, oi! Usakenna! I don't have time now to listen to you or judgmental words! You know what!? I don't need to listen to you, so why don't you get lost, Aomine!?" I yelled at him.
"Fine by me! I didn't want to come beforehand, it's Sastuki that dragged me here!" Aomine yelled back at me.
"Yeah? why don't you go back to your Satsuki, then?!"I kept yelling at him angrily.
"Huh? My- What?!"
"You could've spared to come at all!"
"Fine! Then I'll-"
"Sakurai! Stop yelling and come sit down, now! What was that playing of yours in the court?!" the coach screamed at me.
"I'm sorry, coach." I walked towards the bench and silently sat down. Aomine just walked away, without saying anything else.
I was so damn furious. Right now I was angry at everyone. I didn't know what to do, and while I was boiling in my rage my teammates were struggling to keep up with the Russians.
"Dai-chan, what's wrong? Did you talk to her?" Satsuki asked seeing Aomine's grave face.
"Let's go, this game is over." Aomine said while walking towards the exit.
"Eh? Why? It's only the third quarter!" Satsuki stated.
"That dumbass has something wrong today. I don't like her playing…"
"Eh? What are you saying?"
"Didn't you notice that she purposely not stopped that shoot? Who would do something like that on purpose? And anyway she said that I could've spare to come at all. That girl!"He grumbled.
"Mhm.. I see…" Satsuki mumbled.
"What?!"
"She's seems worried about something?" Satsuki then told Aomine.
"Huh? Worried? About what?" He asked bewildered.
"I, myself, don't know the reason but, look at her. She's all shook up."
Aomine took a look, and realized that something was wrong. He saw me looking over and over again at the bleachers where Yuki was sitting, and noticed the four guys wandering around my sister.
"That baka! Why didn't she tell me before?!" Aomine shook his head.
"Oi, Satsuki go tell her, I'll take care of those bastards."
"Remi-san?"
I heard calling behind me. I turned around and saw Satsuki. To tell the truth, I never saw this Satsuki with a good eye, I don't know why, but these was my feelings.
"What is it?"I asked her.
"I don't understand why he always do these kind of stuff and further more he's so reckless, and he could be injured-"
"Oi, oi. What are you talking about? Slow down. Who is doing what?" I asked confused.
"Dai-chan. He told me to tell you, he was gonna to take care of some guys." She said with a worried look.
"What!" I looked up over Yuki. Those guys were vanished. No way.
"What the hell was he think of doing? One against four?! Why the hell he never thinks before acting!" I thought. I stood up and approached the coach.
"Coach, I'm sorry but I need to go out for a moment, I'll be right back I promise" without waiting for an answer I ran out of the stadium under the astonished eyes of everyone.
"Where the fuck are you, Aomine?" I said while running through the exit.
I looked around but all the I could see was some passerby. I frenetically look right and left, and then here he was.
"Aomine! Temee!" I ran towards him, he was just standing there still. I reached him and tug him to look into his face.
"What the hell are you think of doing? Are you crazy, you dumbass? Where are they?" I asked looking for them.
"They walked off." He simply replied.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"I told 'em that the Russian had solved her problem. That there were no more use for them, and they got lost." He explained.
"You shithead! What if they would've beat you up, huh? Bakayaro, they were four!" I started to hit my fists on his chest repeatedly.
"Oi, oi, calm down. That didn't happened, and anyway I would've knocked out all four." He said while holding my wrists.
"Stop it. You ain't funny! What if you got injured and couldn't play basketball again? Then it would have been my fault! Aho, why can't you mind your own business?!" I started to shed some tears.
Aomine was astonished. And then I felt his arms around me. I widened my eyes. His embrace was soft and very warm, I wanted to get rid of his hug but all I could do was hugging him back and hiding my face in his chest.
To be continued...
