Hello, Fanfiction! Hope you had a Merry Christmas or whatever it is you celebrate, also Happy New Year This will be the last chapter before we get on to the first Ultra Rank battle for Ash. Here Lillie will explain to Lusamine Marnie and the Cerises why she left. She still is upset with Gladion over his dream counterparts' actions, same with Goh. Also, Ash vs Marnie will be different. It will be 3v3 like it should have been in the anime. Granted we have a while to go before then, but I am just giving you the heads up. Anyway, on to the chapter:
Lillie Tells All: The Truth of the Nightmare Revealed
Lillie was still in shock. "MOTHER, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"
"I'm here because I was worried about my precious little baby girl."
Lillie managed to free herself from her mother's embrace just as Gladion walked into the room and walked toward her. "Lillie what were you-" but Lillie's Houndour fired a Flamethrower at him, shocking everyone but Ash, Lillie, Chloe, Pikachu, and Snowy. Gladion barely got out of the way.

After seeing Lillie's 3 newest Pokémon attack Gladion, Lusamine knew that she wouldn't get any information about why Lillie left with Gladion there. "Gladion why don't you go outside and help feed the Pokémon." Gladion looked ready to protest, but a growl from Houndour and a hard stare from Lusamine made him leave. Chloe did the same for Goh, as she knew Lillie did not feel comfortable around the boy.
Lillie was nervous but Ash put his hand on her shoulder. Snowy jumped into Lillie's lap and Houndour sat down next to Lillie. Lillie took a deep breath and explained the nightmare. Marnie, the Cerises, (minus Chloe), and Lusamine were horrified. No wonder Lillie ran away. Gladion, no the entire world screwed her and Ash over. FOR SOMETHING THEY HAD NO CONTROL OVER UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE. I can't believe I did nothing to help her. Lillie puts their fears to rest when she says it was just a nightmare, stunning everyone by telling them that Arceus told them that himself. The God of all Pokémon? That settles it Lillie should stay with Ash.
Lusamine rushed over and hugged her daughter crying as she ruffled her daughter's hair. "I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. No wonder you left sweetie. You wanted to make sure that you two didn't have to go through that in real life." Lillie normally would have tried to squirm out of her mother's grip but the fact that Lusamine was crying threw Lillie for a loop. "I think you should stay with Ash." Lillie was stunned and about to question her mother, but Lusamine raised her hand. "If Arceus came to you then it's obvious you belong with Ash." Lillie nodded and the group all headed outside to see the Pokémon.
Lillie's Houndour made sure to keep Gladion away from Lillie. Even though the nightmare didn't exist Houndour hated what Gladion's nightmare self did to his sister and her mate. Lusamine turned to her son. "Lillie will be staying here with Ash." Gladion opened his mouth but a stern look from his mother made him close his mouth. "Lillie's love life is none of your business young man. Now we will spend the night then you and I will resume the search for Mohn." With that done everyone got ready to turn in for the night. Lusamine turned to her daughter and Ash. "Don't make a grandmother too soon you two," she said with a sly smirk. Chloe and Mrs. Cerise were trying and failing to control their laughter.
Ash and Lillie were crimson. "MOTHER!" Lusamine was laughing saying she needed to do something to get her daughter's mind off the nightmare. After everyone ate dinner and Lillie had showered after the long day, everyone decided to head to bed early, hoping to get an early start the next day. Soon everyone was asleep.
Lillie and Ash had another joint dream. In this dream universe, She and Ash were engaged. (Lillie was blushing at the thought of being Ash's bride). Thankfully, the nightmare did not happen to this dream counterpart of Lillie, but her counterpart still had issues she had to go through. She had to learn how to play a card game called Duel Monsters and fight off a group known as the Big 5. Lillie was very scared when her counterpart was nearly frozen, but she was rescued by Ash. Lillie was ecstatic at how far Ash went to help her. Ash and Lillie's dream counterparts eventually defeated the Big 5.
It was 8:00 AM when Ash and Lillie woke up. "Morning Lillie." Ash kissed his girlfriend who squealed in happiness. "So, my thought process for today is I will speak to an old friend who will help you find your dad." Lillie's eyes widened. Ash held up a hand. "Let me explain, I know that nightmare was just that, but I don't think I will be able to train as my Pokémon will be focused on Gladion, who will probably be watching us like a hawk." Lillie nodded in understanding.
With that said the couple got dressed and when to visit Butterfree and his family in the park, as the Caterpies were quite young. After Lillie gave the two of them a light scolding, Ash and Lillie started their morning training session with their Houndour.
Lusamine woke up and after a shower headed out to the park. She knew Ash and Lillie were probably already up and training based on what Professor Cerise had told her. Her assumption was correct when she heard Ash's voice shout out "Houndour use Flamethrower," while Lillie's voice shouted, "Counter it with your Flamethrower." She ran forward and saw Ash and Lillie engaged in a battle with their new Houndours. So, are those two Houndour like Ash and Lillie? Or are they brother and sister? Her question was answered when Ash called off the battle and she heard him say "Wow you both are strong. Your dad would be proud of you." The Houndour siblings gave a bark of thanks.
"So, you 2 were serious about taking down that nightmare if it showed up." Ash and Lillie turned to see Lusamine standing. next to a tree. Lillie ran up to her mother hugging her, apologizing for running off and worrying her. Lusamine shook her head. "Lillie if I had that nightmare, I would probably have done something similar." Now your brother and I will be returning to Alola temporarily."
Ash had a theory as to why they were heading home. "Let me guess, interrogating Faba?"
Lusamine nodded. "Yes, I want to figure out what the hell he was doing. If he had a hand in that nightmare appearing he will be so much more trouble than he already is." Lusamine shook her head. "I should have fired him after I learned he was the reason Lillie couldn't touch Pokémon."
Half an hour later everyone was having breakfast. Lillie's Caterpies were eating inside. They did not trust Gladion, so they wanted to eat with their new trainer. They weren't the only Pokémon who didn't trust him. Ash's Houndour, like his sister, fired a Flamethrower at the moody teen. Goh tried to laugh it off, but he was hit by a Mud Shot from Ash's Larvitar. Chloe couldn't stop laughing at this. I know I shouldn't laugh but it's so funny. Ash and Lillie's newest Pokémon truly are dedicated to protecting them. While they were eating Ash learned that Marnie was in the Ultra class as well. He was ecstatic. He had never fought a trainer who specialized in Dark Types before.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Ren opened the door and Latias walked in. She was in her Bianca disguise. Professor Cerise was about to ask her a question when Lillie spoke up. "Good Morning Latias." Latias smiled and dropped her disguise.
The effect was immediate. Ren and Chrysa's jaws dropped. Chloe and Goh shrieked in surprise. Eevee and Grookey doing the same as their trainers. Professor Cerise's glasses fell off of his face. Marnie raised an eyebrow. Ok, NOW I see why Bea was interested in this guy. If Ash has caught a Legendary Pokémon, it makes sense why he is so strong. Has he been holding back this whole competition? If so, Leon and the rest of us could be in trouble. Lusamine and Gladion were staring at Ash stunned. Did Ash have that during the League, or was this a recent capture? Gladion thought shocked at seeing one of the Eon Duo. Lusamine could not believe her eyes. No wonder Tapu Koko was interested in Ash. I thought it was weird hearing it being focused on one trainer but that same trainer catching a legendary blows my mind.
Goh took out a Pokeball hoping to catch Latias. Lillie steps in front of Goh. "Sorry Goh but Latias is mine." Goh collapsed in defeat and walked away feeling defeated. Chloe felt bad for Goh since she knew what Goh's goal was and Lillie catching Latias had thrown off Goh's goal somewhat. Marnie's eyes widened. Well dang, this is unexpected. A girl who was once afraid to touch Pokémon now holds a legendary Pokémon on her team. If she tries to enter the World Coronation Series, she will definitely catch people off guard. Gladion was staring at his sister with wide eyes. Lillie CAUGHT a Latias. THAT could be trouble in the future should we have a rematch.
Lusamine squealed and rushed forward and hugged her daughter. "My precious little girl has a legendary Pokémon. I'm so proud of you sweetie." Lusamine ruffled Lillie's hair.
Lillie blushed embarrassed. "Mother please stop you're embarrassing me."
"It's a mother's job to praise their children," said a familiar voice. Everyone turns and sees.
"MOM/MRS. KETCHUM?!" Ash and Lillie shouted stunned to see Delia there in the lab.
"Hi, sweetie. Lillie how is my future daughter-in-law." Ash and Lillie blushed hard. Lusamine giggled at the couple's embarrassment. Gladion glared at Ash who gulped nervously. This caused both Ash and Lillie's Houndour to growl at the blonde-haired boy, causing Gladion to back off of the raven-haired boy. Chloe and Eevee couldn't hold back their laughter.
Lillie glared at Chloe. Suddenly, she smirked as she had come up with a way to get back at her new friend. "Just wait till you and Goh get together." Chloe blushed angrily and shouted that she did not like Goh in that way. "So, you do have feelings for Goh." Chloe blushed harder and walked away to brush Eevee and Yamper, grumbling about how any girl could like a boy like Goh. Lillie smiled, knowing she had won that exchange.
Lusamine and Delia started chatting about when the wedding should be. Ash and Lillie blushed crimson and left their mothers to do their chatting and gossiping. They weren't at that stage yet. After meeting with Butterfree and his mate, Ash had calmed down, but Lillie was still flustered. "Honestly, why are our mothers so determined for us to get married Ash? I would love to marry you, but we should probably wait for The World Coronation Series to be over."
Ash agreed that they should wait for The World Coronation Series to be over before they tied the knot. Ash and Lillie then went around feeding their Pokémon. After they did this, Ash contacted Mewtwo via telepathy and explained the situation about Mohn Aether's disappearance. He also told him about the Aether Foundation, whose goal is to cure hurt Pokémon. The organization shelters Pokémon to keep them safe from threats such as abusive trainers. Mewtwo told Ash he would look for Mohn and he asked Ash to tell Lusamine that once he has found him that he would like to talk to Lusamine. "This Aether Paradise sounds like the perfect way for me to assist hurt and injured Pokémon."
When Ash told Lusamine about his plan to help find Mohn, she hugged Ash. "I knew you would be the perfect son-in-law. Ash blushed scarlet. Delia, Mrs. Cerise, Marnie, and Chloe were giggling. Gladion was still angry at Ash but kept it inside so as to not make Lillie's Houndour even angrier at him than she already was. Goh was completely clueless. Lillie had her face in her hands. Why must you do this mother? It's so embarrassing.
After everyone had lunch, Gladion and Lusamine prepared to head to the airport to head home to Alola. Lusamine turned towards Ash. "Now Ash, promise me you will take good care of my precious daughter. MOTHER, Lillie screamed in her mind completely red in the face. Marnie and Chloe were giggling while Eevee was rolling on the floor with laughter.
Before Ash could respond his Houndour released a Flamethrower destroying a net aimed at Ash and Pikachu. Everyone turned and saw a familiar Meowth-shaped balloon flying above them. Ash, Pikachu, Lillie, Snowy, Goh, Delia, and Chloe all groaned. "Here we go again/Pikachu/Vulpix." The TRio jumped to the ground.
Prepare for Trouble. It's time to make you pay for breaking the status quo.
And make it double. We can finally start the show.

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth, that's right!" Meowth chimed in.
A flash of light came from one of Jessie's Pokeballs revealing her trusty Wobbuffet. "WOBBUFFET! (OH YEAH!)" Wobbuffet finished with his signature salute.
"Team Rocket/PiPi-kachu" everyone except for Lusamine, Gladion, and Marine chorused.
"That's us,". Jessie said with pride. "Now then, WHY WEREN'T YOU IN ALOLA WITH THE CATCHING TWERP, she screamed at Ash.
"You totally ruined the episode by not being there," James said.
Ash was confused. "What do you mean I ruined the episode." Pikachu shook his head in exasperation. Pikachu pika pika Pikachu pika (Oh great these idiots think we're in a cartoon again.)
Lillie stepped forward annoyed "Enough of this, Team Rocket you have been pestering my boyfriend for years. When are you 3 idiots going to let it go?"
Team Rocket's jaws dropped. "GIRLFRIEND? WHAT? HOW? I THOUGHT THE TWERP FAVORED THE WATER TWERPETTE? I THOUGHT HE WAS IN LOVE WITH THE KALOS TWERPETTE? HE KNOWS WHAT LOVE IS?"
Ash couldn't stop himself from laughing at the Trio's expressions. He did consider what they said. Misty and me? Never would have worked. Serena Hmmm. Given the dream Lillie and I had after the Darkrai incident, that relationship could have happened. Hopefully, when I tell her about me and Lillie, she won't react too badly. He turned to the TRio. "You three have so much potential. You could do so much better than being part of Team Rocket. Why not leave and find a new job."
"NEVER," the TRio shouted, calling for Pelipper which brought forth the Team Rocket Prize Master and Jessie and James received two Pokémon.
"The Fruit Pokémon, Tropius," Jessie said showing her pick. Tropius was a large, sauropod-like Pokémon with a brown body wrapped in green leaves on its chest and head. It possessed large, broad green leaves on its back.
"The flower Pokémon Vileplume," James revealed his pick. Vileplume was an indigo, bipedal Rafflesia-like Pokémon with rudimentary hands and feet. It has beady red eyes and a small mouth, and its head and torso are a single joined segment. On its head is a massive red flower with five bulky petals and an orange-brown center.
Gladion and Marlene each reached for a ball on their belts, but Ash held out his hand. "I'll handle this. Primeape, I choose you." Ash's pig-monkey Pokémon came out ready for battle. Everyone except Lillie and Delia were stunned. When did Ash get that Pokémon?
Primeape took one look at his opponents and smirked. Prime ape Primeape ape Prime ape Primeape. (Well, well, well, it's been a long time you three).
Meowth was confused "You know us?"
Primeape ape Prime ape prime ape ape ape (I kicked your asses along with that stolen Hitmonlee back in the fighting Pokémon tournament on the outskirts of Fuchsia City years ago)
Meowth's eyes widened in shock. "You're the Mankey that James kicked all those years ago. What are doing here?"
James decided enough was enough. "You beat us before, but we are much stronger. Vileplume use Sleep Powder." Vileplume unleashed the spores toward Primeape, but Ash didn't order it to dodge confusing everyone except Lillie. The spores hit Primeape who remained wide awake.
"WHAT WHY DIDN'T IT WORK?" Jessie was furious at the fact that Primeape wasn't sleeping. Goh took out his Rotom Phone and pointed at Primeape.
Primeape, the pig-monkey Pokémon. It becomes angry if it sees an opponent's eyes and gets angrier if the opponent runs. Even after it beats the opponent, it is still angry. This Primeape has the ability Vital Spirit, which means it CAN'T be put to sleep.
Team Rocket's eyes widened with horror. "OH NO!" Marnie smirked. Clever move choosing a Pokémon with Vital Spirit against an opponent with Sleep Powder.
Ash quickly capitalized on the TRio's distraction by having Primeape knock Tropius out with Ice Punch, then Vileplume was taken out with Fire Punch. Jessie tried to have Wobbuffet battle Primeape, but Primeape used Screech to disorientate it then took it out with Seismic Toss. Ash then had Pikachu and Primeape combine their Thunderbolt attacks to send the TRio flying with their trademark 'We're Blasting Off Again.'
Lillie ran and hugged Ash, who quickly returned the hug. Everyone except Gladion and Goh smiled. Gladion was very apprehensive about his sister dating. Goh clearly still had no clue what love was. Marnie elbowed Chloe. "I wish you the best of luck." Chloe blushed crimson denying that she had feelings for her childhood friend.
Lillie turned and saw her brother looking at Ash. Ash, seeing his girlfriend's angry look stepped back. Lusamine also saw her daughter's look. She planned to speak to Gladion about not interfering in his sister's relationship, but a look from Lillie told her that Lillie planned to handle this issue herself. Lillie walked right in front of her brother.
"You listen to me Gladion. I AM IN LOVE WITH ASH," jabbing her finger into her brother's chest with each word. "What happens between us is none of your business. You WILL leave Ash alone and accept that we're a couple, or else I will use Snowy's newly learned Ice Beam to freeze you solid except for your head, and I will have you transported into Mount Lanakila. You can stay in there until your feelings against our relationship and at Ash disappear. IS THAT CLEAR?" Gladion's eyes widened at the fire in his sister's eyes. He had only heard her that angry when she was talking back at their mother when Lusamine was possessed by the Ultra Beast. His throat too tight to speak Gladion nodded.
Lusamine turned to her son. "Gladion, I want you to head to the airport and purchase two tickets to Alola. I need to finish up our business here." Gladion nodded and left. Lusamine turned to her daughter. "Lillie, I understand your reaction but next time don't go that far." Lusamine gave her daughter a hug. "I need to head home to Alola so I can interrogate Faba." Lusamine got a smirk on her face. "Just don't make me a Grandmother too soon."
Lillie blushed crimson. "MOTHER". Lusamine laughed and ran off to catch up to Gladion. Lillie starred at he mother's retreating form. "Honestly mother why must you embarrass me so much." Suddenly Ash's Rotom phone went off.
"An official Ultra-Class Battle has been scheduled for one week from today."
"I guess being in the Ultra Class gives you advanced warning," said Lillie.
"Yep, you do get messages in advance," Marnie said.
"Oh, right your ranked 49th. You would know," Chloe said to her new friend.
"Your opponent will be Volkner, who is ranked 27th," the phone said.
Volkner, he's the Sunyshore City Gym Leader," said Ash. "That's in Sinnoh."
"Well then, guess you four are heading back to Sinnoh, Cerise said. Chloe facepalmed, Oh that's right I'm technically grounded.
"I want to go with you guys," Marnie said. Everyone turned to her. "I want to see what has caused Bea to have so much interest in you Ash." Ash said it was ok.
"Well then, I have a week to prepare."
"Then let's get started with training bright and early tomorrow," Lillie said with fire in her eyes.
