Danmachi connect: is it alright to have lunch in anther world?

Part 1:

Our bizarre story starts off with a young man fighting a minotaur. The young man, whose hair is as white as snow, is facing off against the giant bull beast with nothing but a knife. Though said knife is smaller than a sword, Bell is somehow able to hold his own against the beast.

Cheering him on is a girl with dark skin, wearing a tube top and a pareo. Despite the rocky texture of the dungeon, the girl is barefoot.

"Come on Bell, you got this!" the girl shouts. The girl's name is Tiona Hiryute. She was on a quest, but got sidetracked from her guild, and somehow wound up running into Bell, who was facing off against this giant bull beast.

"Come on bell…you got this…" Bell said to himself. Fire started to come out of Bell's knife, as he was ready to finish the minotaur off. Bell started to run towards the beast, who started to do the same as well. Before the two could clash however, a white light that came out of nowhere blinded them both.

"What?" Bell said, blinded by the light.

"Bell!" Tiona shouted while running towards him. The light engulfed all 3, and took them to somewhere they weren't familiar with. That somewhere being Landsol.

Part 2:

Yuuki found himself dancing alongside Kaori, just outside the Caon guildhouse.

"Come on Yuuki, keep up with the beat!" Kaori said. The two were getting ready for a summer bondfire that was going to take place in the next 3 days. Alongside helping out with ingredients, Yuuki was also participating in a dance routine with Kaori.

"And stop…so far so good. You were a bit slow there, but for the most part you kept up with me."

"Thanks…" Yuuki said, taking a seat on the ground. The boy felt as though he had just got done slaying a herd of powerful monsters in the sol tower. Yuuki had danced before, but not at this pace.

"I'm really glad I could get you to do this with me Yuuki. I wanted to get Maho, Makoto, and Kasumi to join in, but they all turned me down. I guess dancing really isn't their thing, huh?"

"Well…it certainly does take up a lot of energy…" Yuuki said, still trying to catch his breath.

"Well, in a way it's just like fighting monsters. You need to have a high amount of stamina and focus." she said, taking a seat next to Yuuki.

Yuuki nodded in agreement.

"Still, I wish the others could join in. I even made some cute hula dancer outfits for them to wear."

"Hula dancer outfits?"

"Yeah, with a coconut top and grass skirt. I hope you don't mind but I'd like you to wear the grass skirt at the least for our dance routine."

Yuuki felt his face start to get red. Most of the people that would be at the summer bonfire were not just people he knew, but girls he knew. It didn't help that Yuuki had been trying to get the girls attention less as opposed to more…though being someone who takes various jobs all over landsol, that can be pretty hard to do.

Just then, Yuuki and Karoi heard a bunch of trees rustle from behind them.

"What was that?" Karoi said, turning around to look at the trees laying before them.

"I got a feeling it's a monster…though I hope I'm wrong."

Yuuki wasn't wrong though. Coming out of the trees was a big red minotaur, carrying a giant club with him.

"What the heck type of monster is that?" Karoi said.

"It's a minotaur, but what's it doing here?"

While minotaurs were one of the real dangers an adventurer had to face in Landsol, coming across one was rare. The last time Yuuki had come across a minotaur was when he was in the sol tower, and even then, most minotaurs in Landsol weren't as big, nor did they carry a giant club around.

Without thinking, Yuuki powered up Karoi, who got into a fighting stance.

"I don't know who you are or where you came from, but you're not going to mess up the bonfire." Karoi stated.

Karoi charged at the giant minotaur, but the beast blocked her fury of punches with his arms. He then tried to squash the girl with the club, but missed.

"Be careful Karoi!" Yuuki shouted to the girl. "This guy isn't messing around!"

"Well neither am I!"

Karoi went for another round of punches. While she was able to connect, it barely left a dent on the minotaur.

"Boy…this guy is tough!" she said, whipping away some sweat from her forehead. Yuuki went in to try and help Karoi out, swinging his sword at the giant creature. The minotaur saw Yuuki coming towards him, and swung his club at him. Though it didn't hit Yuuki, the impact the club made hitting the ground sent him flying back a bit.

"Yuuki!" Karoi shouted as he saw the boy fly in the air.

"Alright…now you've gone and done it!"

Karoi charged at the beast once more, landing punch after punch to its stomach. While the punches didn't have a huge effect on the beast, the grunts it was letting out were a sign that it was feeling some of the punches delivered by the girl.

Karoi charged up her last punch, and delivered it right to the gut of the beast, sending it flying back. After that, Karoi went back to check on Yuuki, who was still on the ground at the time. THe minotaur used this as an opportunity to retreat…

Part 3:

Yuuki awoke with his head in the lap of Ameth. He didn't realize this at first, because his vision was blurry, but eventually when it came too, he saw who's lap he was in.

"Hey." Yuuki said awkwardly.

"My apologize…I couldn't help but want to put your head in my lap. It's something I saw sweet Kokkoro do from time to time, so I wanted to give it a try. Plus, you do look kind of cute when you're sleeping." she said with a smile.

"Thanks…" Yuuki said, blushing red.

"Having said that, the situation you're in isn't cute. The minotaur you and Karoi just faced isn't from this world."

"It isn't?"

Ameth shook her head "no." She then pulled up a screen using her finger, showing a picture of the minotaur.

"I had a feeling that there was something off about this guy when I saw him, and it turns out the feeling was right. Though he does come from a dungeon, it's not like any of the ones here, let alone the sol tower."

"How can you be so sure?" Yuuki asked, lifting his head up off of Ameths lap (though admittedly it was quite comfortable.)

"Whenever something from another world comes into this one, it's seen as a bug. As you can see here…" Ameth pointed towards the screen that showed a picture of the minotaur. It had the status "bug?" labeled on its status.

"The game sees it as a bug. However…in this case, the game isn't 100% sure if it is a bug or not, simply because of how similar the place this thing comes from is to our world…or at least that's what I can infer from the question mark behind the "bug" label. This works in our favor as the world won't start to collapse and glitch out as quickly, but it's still best if we deal with this thing as soon as possible."

"Right, so…how do we send this thing back to the world it came from?"

Ameth thought for a moment, before finally giving Yuuki an answer.

"I'm not 100% sure this will work, but my best guess is that in order to send this thing back, we need to defeat it. Getting rid of the bug should get rid of the creature, and send it back to where it came from."

"What I'd like to know is how it got here in the first place."

"You and me both Yuuki." Ameth said, shrugging her shoulders.

"OH. One final thing before I send you back…"

Ameth pulled up a screen, showing a white haired young boy laying next to a girl with dark hair and dark skin.

"I don't know who these two are, but from what I gather the game also sees them as bugs, meaning they must come from another world. Whether or not they came from the same world as the minotaur I don't know, but I recommend searching them out and asking them."

"Sure…do you know where they are?"

"Not too far from where you currently are, luckily. Just head south into the woods and they should find them."

"Alright, thank you."

"You're welcome. Please be safe, and get this situation dealt with as soon as possible. I'd really like to see you shirtless in a grass skirt."

"Understood Ameth-wait what?"

Before Yuuki could ask for clarification from Ameth, he found himself awake in another girl's lap, this time Karoi's.

"Yuuki? You alright?"

"Oh…yeah I'm fine. Sorry about that." Yuuki said, apologizing to the girl who was clearly worried about him.

"Listen Karoi, I need you to help me look for somebody."

"Hmmm?"

"A boy with white hair, and a girl with dark hair. We should bump into them if we go this way…" Yuuki said, pointing behind him.

"A boy with white hair and a girl with dark hair?"

"It's a long story, but those two may know a thing or two about the minotaur we just faced off."

"Really?"

Yuuki gave a thumbs up before getting off of Karoi's lap (which was also comfortable) and dusting himself off. Once up, Yuuki started to head in the direction that Ameth told him to go, hoping to run into the two mysterious visitors to Landsol before the matatour did.

Part 4:

We rejoin Bell and Tiona, with Tiona conveniently resting her head on Bell's chest. Bell was the first one to open his eyes, only to be met with the blinding light of the sun.

"W-what?" Bell said, trying to get up, only to realize that Tiona was on his chest.

"T-Tiona? What is she doing on my chest…and what are we doing out here? Oh no…did me and her do something we shouldn't have?!"

"Ugh…Bell? What happened?" Tiona said, rubbing her eyes before slowly looking up at Bell, who was blushing bright red.

"Oh…hey Bell." Tiona said with a smile.

"Hey Tiona…could you move so I could get up?" Bell said, his face bright red. Tiona looked down to see that she was on Bell's chest, which caused her to get red in the face too a bit. Tiona got up and then helped Bell up afterwards.

"Where are we? And how did we get here?" Tiona asked bell, looking around at her surroundings.

"I'm not quite sure…I was just facing off against that minotaur in the dungeon, when all of the sudden a white light came out of nowhere and swallowed us whole.

It was at that moment that Bell got hit in the head by a pebble.

"Ow! What the heck?" he said, rubbing the back of his head. Bell turned around to be faced by a group of rock flowers.

"Who the heck are these guys? I've never seen them before in the dungeon." Tiona said.

"Whoever they are…I don't think they're friendly." Bell stated, taking his dagger out. Luckily for the boy, his trusty dagger followed him into this new world. Bell made quick work of the creatures, using his dagger to cut into them quickly. Compared to the minotaur he had just faced, the rock flowers were a piece of cake.

"I know this is gonna sound weird, Bell, but something tells me we're not in Orario anymore…let alone the dungeon."

"I don't know Tiona…with how complex and deep the dungeon is…are we sure this isn't just another level we're on?"

"Well if it is…it's a pretty nice looking level. I wouldn't mind staying here for a while."

At that moment, Yuuki had made it into the forest area and spotted the two, with Karoi not too far behind.

"That must be them…hey! Over here!"

"Oh…it looks like there's some adventures in here too."

"Hello there!" Karoi said with a bright smile. "My name is Karoi, and this is my good friend Yuuki."

"Bell Carnel." Bell said.

"Tiona Hiryute." Tiona responded.

"I"m glad we ran into some other adventures. We were wondering if you could tell us what floor we're on."

"What floor?"

"Yeah…what floor of the dungeon we're on right now."

"Right…about that. I know this is gonna sound crazy Bell, but you're in a different world right now…"

"What…"
