(A/N) Wow, I should have just asked you guys for some advice. You made some good points that I could have figured out. With the Rebels up to nothing this time, I can branch out to show what the other Avengers have been up to. Just a warning, this won't be a long one.
Meanwhile, just outside of the Dune Sea, inside of Jabba...Hulk's palace, he was sitting on his throne while he was surrounded by two of his own personal Bounty hunters as bodyguards. As far as he knew, there was nothing in this galaxy that could harm him, but he wasn't going to try and even take any chances. Not to mention that he needed some people who understood how the universe works and functions. With the money he was able to get into with the death of Jabba, and not to mention the dozens of others that he killed in that thunderclap, he hired the likes of Hunter Fennec Shand and Bounty Hunter Boba Fett. Hulk's intelligence was also starting to grow more and more as time would progress. Right now, his intelligence was on par with a casual adult on Earth.
He was getting his respects from the rest of the Dimino as he sat and watched a Trandoshan walk into the room with what looked like furs of sorts. "A tribute to the new dynasty." He then left them on the floor with a bow. "May you never leave Mos Espa."
Boba watched as he left and scoffed. "Even when a Trandoshan offers you a compliment, it sounds like a threat."
Hulk grunted as he took that as a threat himself.
"Should we kill him?" Fennec questions.
"No," Hulk grunted. "No need."
Back in the Ghost, they were currently parked in one of the open fields of Lothal. After everything that they did to get the Empire's attention, they have seemingly put everything into finding them now. Kanan had to take Ezra on some sort of personal Jedi mission of sorts, so they were left waiting for them to come back.
Peter and BD were working on trying and fixing the web shooters on the Iron-Spider suit, working on some way to make use of the time. This technology was something that was brand new, even for his world. Most of the tech used in this world you could argue was the equivalent of tech from the 80s.
"Okay, let's try it now, BD." Peter wanted to see if he was capable of getting them to work.
BD chirped as he then added power back to the shooters. But the moment that they had power, Peter tried to shoot a strand, and it ended up backfiring. The webbing canister holding the web fluid exploded, causing it to go everywhere and into Peter's face.
"Gah!" Peter cried as he tried to rip the webbing off his head. "Mother Hubbard!"
"It would seem the damage on the gauntlets has compressed the executor for the web fluid to exit out, causing it to feed backward and expand within the gauntlet," Karen tells Peter.
"Yeah, I got that, Karen," Peter stated as he sighed, taking all of the webbings off. "Yeah, I'm going to need a real scientist from my world to figure out how to fix it."
"That would likely be a useful help, but may I remind you, Peter, that there are only so many of you that reached this world?" Karen questions him.
"Yeah, I know." Peter sighed and dropped down to sit on the couch. "You wouldn't happen to know who landed in this world?"
"Sorry, Peter. There could be hundreds of people or fifteen people who could have made it." Karen was sorry to tell him.
Peter rubbed his head and should have seen that coming. "You know what, guys? Let's take a break." BD chirped and stopped powering the shooters and walked off. "I need some air."
As Peter left the Iron-Spider suit on the table, he walked out into the halls and made his way through the ship. He was starting to get some strange headache that would appear out of nowhere. At first, he was worried that it could be some sort of Sith trick from that Mara Jade girl. But he soon saw that they had been apart long enough that whatever kind of tracking ability she was using was no longer working. He just figured it could be due to the stress he was laying on himself in recent days.
Loki and the Asgardians said they were out searching for Heimdall and even swapped ships a while back. They went to Tattoine where Hulk gave them one of his dozens of ships, the one they chose called an Ebon Hawk. They even handed a contact with Hulk, so that they could all stay in connection with one another. He says that there might be a chance that they can get into contact with their main universe, and maybe a way back. And Peter wasn't sure how he would feel if that was a chance to go back.
When he was walking, he bumped into Sabine and caused them to shriek and freeze in worry. Both of them have been...odd around one another after what happened. Or at least what was going to happen before Jane came in and interrupted them.
"Oh, hey." Peter greeted her, blushing as he tried to avoid eye contact.
Sabine blushed a little and chuckled. "Hey." She then wondered where he was going. "What were you doing?"
"I just gave my web shooters a break. Gonna go get some air." Peter explains, gesturing to the doors he was heading for. "You?"
"Just...wandering." Sabine shrugged, there was not much for her. She needed to stockpile supplies. "I was figuring to go into town, get some paint, wanna join?"
God, he wanted to say yes. He wanted to go and just have a moment with her. But he wasn't entirely sure what he was going to do if he were to do so. He wasn't sure what they were supposed to talk about, neither really wanting to be the one to admit they went to kiss the other.
"Nah, I wanna check up on the Guardians and the other Avengers, see if there's anything else going on." Peter made up a logical excuse to get him out of it.
Sabine seemed a little upset by his answer, he could see her shoulders soften up and her face just seem upset. "Oh, okay." Then she started to walk off. "See you around."
Peter felt a little mad about himself when he noticed how hurt she was that he didn't join her. But before he went anywhere alone with her, he needed to figure some things out. Like does he actually like her more than just as a friend?
Luke stands in the middle of the small hold area in Kenobi's house as he seems frozen in place. A humming lightsaber is held high over his head. Kenobi watches him from the corner, studying his movements. Scott and Hope were currently out getting some supplies to try and fix her stinger.
"Remember, a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him." Kenobi was trying his best to teach him.
"You mean it controls your actions?" Luke asks as he tried to predict where it was.
"Partially." Kenobi did her best to try and explain. "But it also obeys your commands."
Suspended at eye level, about ten feet in front of Luke, a "seeker", a chrome baseball-like robot covered with antennae, hovers slowly in a wide arc. The ball floats to one side of the youth and then to the other. Suddenly it makes a lightning-swift lunge and stops within a few feet of Luke's face. Luke doesn't move and the ball backs off.
It slowly moves behind the boy, then makes another quick lunge, this time emitting a blood-red laser beam as it attacks. It hits Luke in the leg causing him to tumble over and close his saber.
"I suggest you try it again, Luke." Kenobi places a large helmet on Luke's head which covers his eyes.
"This time, let go of your conscious self and act on instinct." Kenobi knew this wasn't going to be easy, he had the same patience as his father.
"With the blast shield down, I can't even see." Luke was skeptical about this idea. "How am I supposed to fight?"
"Your eyes can deceive you. Don't trust them."
Kenobi throws the seeker back into the air. The ball shoots straight up in the air, then drops like a rock. Luke swings the lightsaber around blindly missing the seeker, which fires off a laser bolt that hits Luke square on the seat of the pants. He lets out a painful yell and attempts to hit the seeker.
"Stretch out with your feelings."
Luke stands in one place, seemingly frozen. The seeker makes a dive at Luke and, incredibly, he manages to deflect the bolt. The ball ceases fire and moves back to its original position.
"You see, you can do it." Kenobi was happy to see he was getting it.
Back with the crew, Ezra and Kanan came back, seemingly with a new crystal that was meant to give Ezra his first Lightsaber. Peter, Sabine, Zeb, Kanan, and Hera were all waiting in the common room as Ezra had been working on that weapon for hours upon end.
"He's been working on that thing for hours." Zeb comments. "What kind of lightsaber could he possibly build with the junk we have lying around?"
"Well, I had a few spare parts I found over the years," Kanan confesses.
"And I had some bits and pieces that might work, modulation circuits, an energy gate," Sabine admitted. "Chopper even donated a power cell."
"I gave him some additional tech," Hera added. "He was pretty specific about what he was looking for."
Then Ezra came sliding down from the ladder in the middle of the room. They all looked and noticed that he was holding a new kind of saber that was different from the one Kanan would use in battle. It was like it had a secondary handle built onto it and a small hole on the other end of it.
"I figured I'd let you look it over before I tested it," Ezra says as he handed it to Kanan.
Kanan looked it over and was a little different from the ones he's seen over the years. "It's different, but...definitely seems right for you."
Then he handed the saber over to the boy and he got ready to activate the weapon. The saber then activated and a blue blade exited from the handle. The glow illuminated everything in the area and Ezra swung it around a little.
With the resistance, Yelena and Kate were walking down some halls to a shuttle where they were supposed to be meeting up with a certain someone. Walking in with the newest information of a recent prison escape, they met up with the big man himself, Nick Fury.
"Anything new to report?" Nick asks the girls.
"Just that whatever it was that prison had these prisoners building, it has something to do with Project Stardust," Yelena said as she showed the data they found. "Whatever this weapon is, it's big to require this much work and this much secrecy."
"We haven't really picked up on much after that." Kate was sorry to report. "Seems everyone who knew where those pieces were going was killed."
Nick nodded and sighed. "Get back to work, we gotta learn where and what this is." Nick didn't like this new world that was this good at keeping secrets. "Uncover Stardust. Let Monica know what you found."
"On it." Both of them said and left the room to find their friend.
"You think we should tell Sam?" Kate wonders.
"I think it is best not." Yelena decided as they walked away.
Nick walked over and looked out the window when Goose the Flerkin leaped up and meowed at the man. Nick only gave the creature the side eye, recalling what it did to him a long time ago. His beard had grown out since the last time he was on Earth, as well as ditching the eyepatch. Seemed a lot of people associated him with a long-dead hero called Windu. He figured that could be something he could use as helping to further the cause of the Resistance. He wasn't a fan of his Empire as anyone else was.
But then his comm in his ear started to glitch and he grunted, trying to fix it. "What the hell?"
Then all of a sudden, there was a flash of light from outside, causing Fury to squint. That also was when he heard the screams of a young girl grace his comms.
"AHHH! OH, MY GOD!" The girl screams and Fury notices a figure floating in space, hurling towards the ship. She was surrounded by some form of energy that was keeping her alive in space. She started floating towards the ship, seemingly not setting off any of the alerts due to her size. "AHH! HELP! PLEASE HELP!"
But that was when she came up to the window, ended up upside down, and noticed the super spy. That's when Nick Fury first met Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan.
"Nick Fury!" Kamala seemed to have recognized him as she started floating backward. "Nick Fury! Hi! Uh...is this an Avengers test?"
"What the hell?" Fury was lost on who this girl was, but he had a feeling he knew why she was there.
(A/N) As I warned, it would be short, and I really just want to get this out of the way because I wanna get to the big stuff!
